I first met Ron at Mr. Rooter he came in when he first opened and i have been a fan since. I talked my Boss into changing fleet services over to him and they still use Auto Stop till this day. I have since referred many Companies including my husband’s business Texas Pool Group for fleet maintenance and repairs. They are always honest and completely easy to talk to and always take care of us in a timely manner. Thanks Auto Stop!

Im only adding a star cause there is no option to give none. These guys will try to steal your money and if they dont get it their way they will fail your inspection. Take pictures of everything especially your windshield wipers, cause they will pull the rubber off to try and make you buy new ones. If they work on anything other then the state inspection, they will over price everything for maximum profit. I didnt buy the wipers so they failed my inspection and the reason why I didnt buy them was because I had bought some 2 months ago which cost me $60. Now I have to buy new wipers and pay someone else for an inspection. DONT GO HERE!!!

Really fast service! Told me of 2 issues that i was aware of so glad to see they were accurate and honest. Pricing for those things was a little better than other places. Will return.

Ive used Ronald and his shop for the last 4 years. They have always done quality work for a fair price. They even go out of their way sometimes to help out their customers. From Inspections to oil changes and major repairs; hes the one that works on our 3 cars.

If I could give this business zero stars, I definitely would! Extremely rude, lacking customer service skills and more importantly, not true mechanics by any means. Mechanics and technicians do not know the first thing about vehicle repair(s). If you care about your vehicle, do not choose this business. You can thank me later.

Im a truck driver and Im on the road Alot. I sent my Wife To Auto Stop expecting to have all four breaks done . Turns out only the rear breaks need to be replaced. He could have charged us for more and we would have not known any better. THANK YOU RON.

THE ABSOLUTE WORST EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD. CASHIER WAS SUPER RUDE AND CONDESCENDING TO ME FOR NO REASON WHATSOEVER. Went in to get my AC checked. Said the cost would be $514, they gave me an invoice showing parts listed for 4X the cost at autozone etc. When I asked why it was such a disparity in what they charge and how much they are everywhere else cashier stated their parts come directly from the dealership which I understood. But when I asked if I bought the parts at autozone if I could still pay the $218 in quoted labor charge to put the parts in and this is when he completely changed his attitude towards me. Said “I guess” and you’d have no warranty whatsoever if you buy the parts. He was super rude and short. I then asked other reasonable and basic questions about the services and Said he couldn’t answer anymore questions for me and i said why not? And that “he chooses not to”. Mind you there was no one else waiting and they were not busy. After paying $40 for just the ac inspection fee they pulled my car around and literally said nothing else to me! Not even my car was there or thanks nothing! Simply because I didn’t want to pay 4X the market price for parts! They saw me as a young female and completely tried to rip me off and when I didn’t fall for it behaved in a disgustingly inappropriate and unprofessional manner. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE AT ALL COST!!!!!!!!!!

I had a flat tire this morning. My tire wouldn’t hold air at all. I was sitting at the gas station across the street and it showed they didn’t open until 8am. I called anyway. They answered and said they could help me if I could get my car across the street. We got just enough air in the tire to get there. These guys were waiting on me outside and had my tire fixed in 5 minutes. They took a lot of pressure off me and were so professional and willing to help before they even opened. Thank you so much.

Had my car towed here after it stalled, i was told it was a fuel pump and they tired to charge me over $1000 for a pump i could get from the dealer itself for $399. Not only that they also replaced the relay and said they just did it because it most likely went out but then had the old pump I kept tested and it was still good. they lied about that part and tried to charge a ridiculous price on an inexpensive part and on top of all this they did not even install the pump correctly, the cap was loose and I could smell fuel in the cab of the vehicle. when I called the owners excuse was that they are hard to put on and he had to go out to help the mechanic. so you are telling me you went out to check it and it was still not done right. blatantly lose.

Needed a headlight fixed and they took the car right in and fixed it right away. Autozone sold me the wrong bulb, so had to go get the correct one. Staff were so friendly and helpful here at Auto Stop. I would recommend it to anyone!!

I can not say enough good things about Ronald and the workers here. My husband began bringing his company vehicles here and then we all started coming in with our personal ones as well after they received excellent service. It is hard to find good, trustworthy companies and are thrilled to have Ronald to take our vehicles to.

Dishonest and RUDE. Not just one person. They seem to work together to mis-inform you. I was told my belt broke due to my water pump seizing and got coolant into my alternator, so badly that it also needed to be replaced because it shorted out. Not true. I inspected my engine cabin before dropping it off and it was bone dry. So, what is going on here?? I understand that most of the time when your water pump bearing seizes and causes a belt to break, that coolant can sling everywhere and cause further issues. But, although that is common it certainly doesnt mean that it is happening 100% of the time. Thank goodness I inspected under the hood and saw for myself. I would have been out about 400-500 extra dollars. I wanted to support a local company, this is just disappointing. Please be careful. Oh, and when you call to explain why they are not getting your business they may hang up on you like Ronald did... Just go someplace else. 45 minute later UPDATE : They wouldnt relinquish my KEYS to my tow driver to take the car to a REPUTABLE repair shop. Tow driver had to be the one to notify me that I had a bill to pay, not the 2 people I spoke to that also hung up on me that WORKS for the shop!! I didnt feel that I should have had to pay mainly because I had a problem with the truthfulness of the diagnostic findings.. I gave 2 choices, give my key to the tow driver, or hear from my Lawyer. They eventually handed the keys over after hanging up on me for the 3rd time. Apparently there are no morals in this shop. and in that industry, nothing is really more important. anyone can fix cars. Who you go to us up to you. DO NOT GO HERE, they are hunting for ways to lie to people. UPDATE # 2 get a load of this!! So the REAL issue with my car was.... drum roll...... THE BELT TENSIONER..... ONLY.... so new belt and tensioner and I am out 1/3 the price including a tow 25-30 miles away. Thanks Auto Stop, for trying to screw the wrong person over

Best place in League City!! I have gone here with all of my car problems, and Ron always fixes the problem the first time, and fast! Also, he always explains to you exactly what he’s doing, in an easy to understand way, so you can comprehend what’s going on with your car. Also comparatively cheap.

In a world when you feel vulnerable and an easy target to be taken advantage of, its nice to have a local mom and pop auto shop where you know youll get an honest report of necessary repairs. I took my daughters car in today after getting new tires and being told our suspension may need work due to the damage on her tires. Mr. Ron could have easily agreed with them and charged us for a job we really didnt need. Instead, after checking out her vehicle, he assured me that the damage to her tires was caused prior to an alignment he did several months ago and that her car is actually just fine. Thanks, Mr. Ron! Your integrity is why we keep coming back!

I recent took my vehicle in to get worked on (fix a bearing) and when I received it back the instant I drove off the lot the car almost broke down. They knew the issue was there and failed to tell.me until after idrive off and came back. I could have gotten into a major accident due to this they were aware the vehicle still needes work they made me pay for an issue they did not fix and almost cost me my life. When going down 45 .I will never go back here again. I paid 500 for no fix just more issues. They quoted me 2000 more to fix something they broke. I took it to my dealership I work at they fixed the issue for only 400.DONT GO HERE THEY WILL SCAM AND LIE TO YOU THEY DONT CARE ABOUT YOU OR YOUR SFAETY JUST YOUR WALLET

Just got my inspection done. Unlike jiffy lube and walmart this place wont make you wait any longer than necessary. Roy is awesome and hes an awesome mechanic! They offer discounts for vets, police and teachers too! You guys rock!

Prompt state inspection; 30 minutes from key handoff to sending me on my way. Not bad considering the work volume that day. 👍

I wish it were possible to make a zero-star review. Absolutely hands down the worst experience Ive ever had at an automotive business. The way they talked to me from the start was rude. My AC had gone out so I had taken it there to have it fixed. Two weeks later is blowing hot air. I took it in on a Friday they wanted till Monday to get a new compressor in so I told them that my girl has to have her AC fixed in order to drive for Uber and that I had found one at OReillys right down the road that was available right then so I was told to go ahead and go grab it. Its obvious that theyve done sheisty work and Im and now theyre telling me that I tried to undercut them basically and theyre not honoring any of their work and were just flat-out being rude. My best advice to anyone this go somewhere else! Do not go there!

I go here for everything. Ronald is one of the best people you’ll ever meet, and I’ll always trust them with my business. When you need something fixed right and at a fair price, these are your guys. I moved further into Houston but still make the drive here when anything comes up.

Very friendly service, fast and courteous

Took my truck in to replace a sensor that my obd found to be defective. They insisted that they put my truck on their own obd machine for a charge of over $100. If you know anything about auto repair dont let them cheat you out of your hard earned money.

Brought our truck in for a front end alignment and oil change at 10:35AM and was told it would take 1-1/2 hours to complete the job. There was only one car in the bays at the time. We left and came back almost two hours later and truck was not ready only the oil change had been done. I looked in the bay and our truck was still on the lift with no one working on it. The alignment didnt even start until we returned. No excuse for the truck not being ready! The front desk manager Ron took off $10 for the labor, which seemed fair. Their prices for services are more reasonable than other competitors, but dont come here if youre in a hurry!

We took our car in for preventative maintenance in March. We were having no problems before we brought the car in. We invested $966 dollars to address what they represented as the most pressing issues at the time. Immediately after picking up the car, we noticed the steering wheel was shaking and the car was very bumpy on the road. A few weeks later, our air conditioner began blowing hot air only. They told us that the compressor was bad and needed to be replaced. They replaced the air compressor. Regarding the shaking of the steering wheel and the car, they told us the preventative maintenance and air conditioner repair had nothing to do with it. They never acknowledged the issues with that. After spending an additional $1243, our air conditioner still isnt fixed. We took the car in earlier in June to address this issue. It occasionally blows cold air. It takes anywhere from 5-8 minutes to begin blowing cold air (it takes significantly longer to cool off the car). Also, once the car cools off, it starts blowing hot air again. After bringing the car back in, they told us there was a freon leak and tightened the part where the freon was leaking out of and replaced the freon that leaked out. We picked our car up on a Saturday morning and brought it back in that Saturday morning. They told us to bring it in on Monday. We waited until Tuesday to bring it in because the employee (Ron/Ronald) had told us that our expectations were unreasonable. We wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt over the weekend but the problem was still there. They asked us to keep the car for a longer period of time to witness the problem. We called them on Friday (they didnt call us) and told us they couldnt witness the problem. All total, they have had our car in their possession for 17 days and they never fixed our problem. They also didnt offer to pay for us to have a rental car for our inconvenience. They would not offer any type of refund and would not pay for our car to to go somewhere else to get repaired. So after 4 months and $2200 dollars later, we have problems that we did not have before. They did not offer receipts for the services rendered so we are not even sure what we paid for.

Ron Is a crook I went in for a state inspection and he said it didnt pass because the timing belt was worn out and I had to fix it right away and that with parts and labor it would cost me 300 dollars. So I went to AutoZone and got the belt for 20 and did it myself. And after doing some research I found out that the timing belt is not even part of the inspection process and thats not a reason to fail the state inspection. So whatcha out people all they want is to take your money even if they have to make stuff up. Dont take your vehicle to his place.
