This place has really saved my life since moving to town. We bring both family cars here and they are so efficient, friendly, and informative. It’s nice that the guy up front always explains to me what’s wrong in plain English. So, not only do I learn how to better car for my car but I also learn how to better explain things about my car.The pricing is comparable to the area for various car repairs.They are now offering a PepBoys financing option as well that includes 6-month no interest. They also have a live update while you wait for your car, it’s a link sent to you via text and allows you to know what’s going on no matter if you’re in the shop or have dropped your car off.This place has improved since I first moved to town and they are very helpful changes. :)

Quoted me $1000+ to replace my air compressor. Took my car to get a second opinion at Bensons which has always been a reputable and dependable mechanic. They quoted me $400 to fix the entire issue. That is a $600 difference. And what’s funny is that the guy at pep boys wanted to tell me not to go to Honda of Clear Lake anymore because they don’t do good work and here he is being dishonest to me about what my vehicle needs. Please have a little integrity. And if you don’t know how to properly diagnose an issue then please have your team do additional training because your emptying peoples bank accounts because you either aren’t being honest or aren’t qualified. Wasted $60 for you tell me I needed $1000+ of work done. The lie detector test determined THAT WAS A LIE. I already knew the ac was an issue and you’re going to lie to me and give me that outrageous quote? Should have avoided this place altogether. If your employees are going to talk down about other dealerships they used to work for I would hope they are capable of doing a better job now that you have hired them, but after this experience it seems as though the issues weren’t with the dealership, rather the employees.

I brought my 2015 Chevy Equinox in at 9:30am Saturday morning and asked for rear shocks, alignment, and an oil change. They bought me a Lyft and called about noon telling me I needed rear bearings and a tie rod. About 4:30pm they sent a Lyft to pick me up.Yes my bill was $1200+ and yes it took most of the day. The reason I believe this is the best shop Ive ever used is because I have had alignments done at Firestone and a different Pepboys and have still experienced rear inner tire wear. This Pepboys is the first shop to explain that I may have frame damage and they did not feel comfortable telling me the alignment was 100%. They did not charge me for the alignment. Facts are facts. The fact I had extra parts needing replaced was not the fault of the shop.

This was my first time at a Pep Boys and I couldn’t of been more grateful. Brian and his crew at the League City location where awesome! Highly recommended. I will definitely be back again! 😊

I’ve been to Alex and his crew twice lately and both experiences were great. His techs arevery knowledgeable and went through all the options and risks which allowed me to make the most informed decision possible. My truck was overheating and they worked during Christmas Eve to replace a leaky connection. They even arranged to have the needed part driven from north Houston on the same day. $27 later and I’m back on the road. No charge for labor!! This place is so much better after switching from being a Just Brakes franchise. They will definitely be my first option in the future.

Wonderful experience. Replaced a burnt out brake lamp - no charge. They were a mere Google search find. I was a complete stranger - had never been here before. Great prices and I was in and out in like 30 minutes...

I came in about a week and a half ago with my car having major issues, I thought it mightve been my alternator but they informed me it was a water pump issue, they didnt try to pull any shady stuff or try to make me pay for things I didnt necessarily need. I really appreciate the help Trish (I believe her name was) and Stefan were able to provide for me. They even showed me in the garage what they were repairing to be 100% transparent which I really appreciated. Stefan did tell me that in the future I would need to repair some other things but didnt make me feel pressured that I needed them done at this very instance. Thanks for your excellent customer service and I will be back in a couple months to deal with the other things I need fixed!

Zane is amazing! He helped out tremendously the first time we stopped here. He was upfront about everything. His customer service was some of the best that Ive ever received from a car maintenance business. You could tell that he had a good relationship with his crew as well. Zane and the overwhelming hospitality that we were presented with definitely deserves a 5 star rating. No matter what, well always be happy to do business here.Nonetheless, I cant say that for all managers and experiences there because we did have a bad experience this morning. My wifes tire was really low and she pulled in to have it checked on. She parked and was checking to see what happened to her tire and an older gentlemen came out side and immediately told her Maam, could you park in the back, we dont open until 8 oclock. I understand not being open, but I told my wife to go there because online it shows that they opened at 7:30am today. It was 7:21 at the time. I was also surprised that he didnt at the least ask her what was wrong since she was outside of her car worried, confused, and checking on it. Its an experience that I didnt appreciate, but I dont believe that one bad experience should downgrade the rating I give for this business.

We are so appreciative of this Pep Boys, especially Stefan! We were driving through on a Sunday, hours from home, when our car decided to strand us... They were the only automotive store that would help us out - we tried Firestone and Walmart first - since it was a Sunday. They also took the time to knowledgeably explain the issue and make sure we knew how to handle it safely. Dont waste your time elsewhere - they will totally help you out!

Got my battery changed super quick.

My engine suddenly just died and would not restart on a Sunday, driving back to Dallas from Galveston. Couldnt get even a sound when attempting to turn over the engine. Pep Boys was one of only two mechanic shops open in the area. I had the car towed to Pep Boys. Mike, the manager on duty, did a great job of tracking down an electrical fault that had blown out a 15 amp fuse, in an accessory circuit that completely shut the engine down and would not allow the engine to restart. As I did not have a spare fuse and his shop was also out of 15 amp fuses, he had to rob a fuse from my window circuit to get the car to start. With the engine now running, I drove the car to an auto parts store that was open, purchased fuses and returned to Pep Boys. Mike put the new fuse in so that the windows once again worked and we were on our way home. NO CHARGE! Awesome service from a nice guy!

My car has been functioning normally, thanks to the good maintenance services I do receive from these mechanics. Their prices are worth the good customer services they offer. I have no complaints at all!

Just got both of my 3 series BMWs looked at here. I am pretty mechanically inclined, so I really just needed them to tell me what was up with my 335i so I could do it myself and they were not at all pushy on anything. Recommended stuff, but when I said I would do some stuff, they were still just as friendly and didnt push their service. So I brought my girls 330i that had brake problems and we paid to get hers taken care of (shook violently). That way I only need to do mine ;)Either way, problem solved for her car, good price, good service, the lack of push was the best part, for sure. If I can recommend one thing- if you know you want work done and want someone else to do it- bring it here, but bring your own parts. Youll save a ton. Its not their fault, the system sources certain parts. But if you bring your own (well researched, I hope!) Parts, theyll put them on for a decent rate and youll save a lot.

Zanes Mike and the crew are the best! They live up to their word. I recommend this shop to all you will not be disappointed.The service from start to finish was flawless.

I spent over $1,000 to fix antifreeze leak. I was told it needed a radiator and new cap, half was labor, half was parts. I get the truck home, and the truck is again leaking antifreeze, nearing half of what the radiator held. I took it back to Pep Boys, and they said another part needed replacing, and they didnt know it was leaking before. If they did a complete check for leaks, it would have appeared and I wouldnt have paid for 2 more hours of mechanic time $250 for repairs that should have been done the first time. I spent over $4,000 in tires, radiator work, and engine repairs, but I wont go back! They shouldnt have charged me for the additional labor. They lost a customer!

I came in to get my vehicle serviced and was greeted by Armon, the manager. He was extremely knowledgeable and explained to me the options I had. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a service center to keep their vehicles maintained.

I came in for brake pads and rotor resurfacing, and all I can say is the service here is excellent, and the prices were very competitive as well.During my brake inspection, I also had some other issues that they had discovered. My rotors were actually pretty warped and needed to be replaced. The last place I took my vehicle for brake inspection a day before had told me I only needed pads and a resurfacing.Just Brakes was able to get my brand new rotors for a lot cheaper than I could have, they also saved me several hundred dollars and prevented me from having issues further down the road by doing a proper inspection.Thank you Just Brakes, and Ill definitely be coming back here for my next service.

I went here to get my car checked out. I was told that I needed inner and outer tie rods for both sides of the front. There was a bubble in the wall of my tire that was not there prior to my visit. They tried to sell me four tires, and explained that my rotors were messed up which is why my car was making a thudding feeling. The estimate was well above what I got it repaired for. I had the two tires replaced and they put the new ones on the back, moved the tires in the rear to the front.Upon leaving both of my hubcaps fell off. When I called and spoke to the manager who I originally talked to he said that he had been concerned that it would happen because of the clips, however, failed to notify me at the time of the issue presenting himself. He said that it wasnt a safety concern so he did not have to notify me and also that it was plastic. I feel that it should have been disclosed when he recognized that it was a problem in the first place, regardless if the parts were plastic, and he had no problem notifying me at all of the more expensive work that he was suggesting me to have done. I owned them and came to them for care and it is the principal of the matter. I know for a fact that this is a scare tactic used on women to get them to turn around once a part falls off and pay for everything that had been suggested.The mechanic I went to after the fact told me that my tensioner had been tampered with and I have had parts malfunction since their inspection, and it was confirmed that the tie rods were perfectly fine. I watched while the manager of pep boys pushed down the weight of the car to make it bounce as he said that the struts on these cars were bad, then magically a strut goes out on my car the next week? I wouldnt send any female to this place because I have a strong feeling that they are underhanded and will take you for a ride. The woman at the front desk was lovely, and I had a nice conversation with one of the mechanics, but I dont trust the management for one second or the way things were done.I was told I would be contacted about my hub caps being replaced. Nearly two weeks later and no word. Thanks a lot.

Down in Galveston for a cruise when my car started overheating on the way back home. Turns out I had a hole in my radiator! Zain and the techs were great. They kept us updated as they were working on my car, they were professional, and very efficient. Because of their knowledge and great service we were able to get back on the road to Denton the same day!

Went in for an oil change and we got some other things taken care of too. Zain was very friendly and helpful. It was quick and easy!

Excellent service! I had a flat tire and one of my brake lights had stopped working. They replaced my flat tire with my spare tire and replaced the brake light bulb in no time. I even learned a little more about my car along the way. Would definitely recommend you stop by for any problems you may have with your car!

Helped be my second opinion for my failing struts. They showed me specifically what was wrong and really explained why I needed to have them replaced. They were great at helping me decide what to do and even offer a credit card to help finance the expenses. It was cheaper here for a complete front set of struts than the rest of the quotes I had been given. They finished in about 2 hours.

This store has had some turnover and unfortunate circumstances after Harvey. My truck was serviced here for a turbo swap which Pep Boys normally doesn’t take on. But the previous manager was knowledgeable with my truck and turbos, so I trusted him with the work. After a while, the turbo started acting up making odd noises and I worked with a new manager Zane to figure out what they were going to do to get this resolved. After several discussions, Zane ended up finding a technician who could diagnose the issue and perform the proper reinstallation the turbo needed. Now, My truck is driving better than ever with lots of power. So here’s an example of a great manager, someone who stepped up and took care of an issue that wasn’t his initial problem, but he did what was right to make the customer satisfied even though it was at Pep Boys expense. Thank you Zane!

I visited this location thinking that I needed new front brake pads (I had been told so by someone at a dealership). After inspecting my brakes, I was told that I still had plenty of wear left on my pads, and nothing really needed to be done. Instead, I was given a great price on other maintenance work. I left completely satisfied, and will certainly return here in the future.

I have been to this establishment for 2 estimates, they will lie to you and attempt to overcharge for work you do NOT need. I am lucky enough to know about vehicles and how much things should cost, unfortunately I had just moved and did not have my tools to do the work myself. I feel bad for the people that do not have the knowledge. I would stay away from them unless you would like to pay quadruple the price for work you do not need.

Went in with squeaky brakes. After they sold me parts Im now pretty sure I didnt need. They said that my brakes werent braking at all and I needed a new master solenoid! Well they were right about one thing, the brakes werent working. I had to either drive it out of the shop with brakes that had to be pumped many times before braking power would set in or submit myself to their scam. I drove it too another shop, they looked at it, turns out they put one of the damn parts I didnt need on wrong. I paid just brakes $450 and all I got was scammed, un-safe brakes installed incorrectly, and then had to pay someone else $150 to fix their incompetence and do the job right.If you value your wallet, your car, or your life, go elsewhere... ANYWHERE else.

Great place, got there at 7:30 to have my brakes looked at, they checked them out had me come out to look at the issues, i okay the work and they were done by 925 and that was the parts delivery company having to come back and deliver the right parts, excellent staff, sorry I forgot yall names but i will be back to have more work done, thats a promise, keep up the great work guys!

Most honest car mechanics service.I was told after having a safety check on my car by a mechanic that I need new brake pads .got a second opinion free of charge from Pep Boys auto services that I still have half the life on my brakes.

Our ac went out. Took it to the PepBoys on Main in League City on a SUNDAY. They replaced the evaporator in 4 hours and the AC is cooling better than ever. The manager was VER NICE, greeted all of the customers as they came in. He went overboard to get everyone scheduled and their cars worked on. Even with several people in line, he was calm and patient with each and every one of them. I would HIGHLY recommend this PepBoys for your car repairs. Thank you for your awesome service on our car!

A part that was installed in January at Pep Boys in Pearland failed so I took it Zain and his team now at Pep Boys League City. They honored the warranty, repaired my truck and did me right yet again. Ive taken no less than 6 of my cars to Zain at then Just Brakes now Pep Boys over the years and he has been amazing. Its hard to find a man who is honest in the repair business, but I found one in Zain. Highly recommend!

DO NOT BRING YOUR VEHICLE HERE. I got my brakes job done on Sunday and on Tuesday on my way to work, I hear this pop and then a clanking noise. I decided to park my car and get it toll to auto mechanic shop. They told me that two bolts on my passenger side brake caliper were missing and that clanking noise was from the caliper hitting metal. The auto shop told me the technician didnt put the bolts in right and they pop out or forgot to put the bolt in. Dont be FOOLED by these people hospitality, these technicians that have working are very inexperience.

Brought truck in for over heating . Was told could not find anything wrong and could not get truck to overheat. 20 mins after driving back from pick up it over heated of coarse. Was told the mechanic drove 45 mins but i dont think so. So i wasted my time off that i had to get truck fix taking it to them.

Zain and Juan took great care of me! I needed a lot of work on my car on a busy Sunday. Zain gave me several different scenerios and quotes for the work that needed to be completed. He also suggested his personal recommendations that way i would be safe on the road as well.I have been going to this Pep Boys location for a year now for my regular oil changes they iffer you services, dont try and over sell work thay does not need to be completed and are very friendly in the process. I will never go back to Jiffy Lube.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!! BUYER BEWARE!!! Check your vehicle after they test drive your car. THE MECHANICS ARE THEIVES AND WILL STEAL ITEMS OUT OF YOUR CAR. My personal items were STOLEN out of my glove box. The store manager told me that because I didnt notice the item was missing while i was at the store, Just Brakes will not replace or regund me for the item stolen. INCREDIBLY DISAPPOINTED!!!!

Went in today to buy Brakes and i was talking to a man there by the name of mark i asked him to look at my truck he was very rude and said are you even going to buy brakes here then i said i was but now im not sines you were rude to me then he started cussing at me so i just walked out i would not go here nless u like to be yelled. but i will be praying for him that he has a better day tomorrow

Not to long ago I went to this location to have my brake pads replaced. One of the guys informed me that I needed to replace my rotors as well. He wasnt pushy about it or anything, but simply recommended that it was necessary to have the work done. Very friendly and very cooperative. And the pricing they gave me pretty good to say the least. He was able to work the numbers down to fit the budget I had to work with, which at the time I felt was extremely helpful and unexpected. Most mechs wouldve told me tough luck and sent me on my way. However..a few days after my visit I started havin problems. Breaks started scream as I stopped and on one occasion I had to slam on my brakes to avoid an accident with a lady who cut me off on 45 and I could hear/feel the grinding coming from my brakes. After that everything was worse than before I had taken my vehicle into the shop. Took it back and explained my problem to the same guy who had helped me before. They took another look at it and assured me that everything was fine and that the grinding I heard was the ABS system preventing the brakes from locking up. Im not all that savy when it come to cars as I would like to be, however I knew that was not the problem. Had another shop look at it and was informed that my pads were around 15% on my passenger side and my driver side was cutting into my rotor. So here I am having to do the same work that these guys had done for a great price all over again. I will not be returning and if you do I would highly recommend paying attention to the work being done. Dont make the same mistake I did and take the nice guy on his word.

They put the pads on wrong (put both inner pads on one tire and both outer pads on the other) causing one pad to wear down extremely fast (10k miles) and grind into the rotor. When I brought it back to them they tried to tell me the caliper was locking up and sell me new calipers for $600. Then when I told them the calipers were under warranty with the dealership they came back 5 minutes later and said well just noticed the brake pads were on the wrong side and at that point they fixed the issue under warranty since it was their fault.The only reason they did that is because they didnt want me to take it to the dealership who would call them out on their bullcrap

Dropped it off this morning and they started it would cost 895.00 since they have to replace everything front and back. Funny since I just got my cat state inspected and the parts themselves only cost 250.00 . Horrible, deceitful business practices. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME THERE!

The oil change took a little longer than other places that I been to. I keep looking through the window and my car was just off the ground what felt like a hour until finally I saw that its getting brought down and said to myself finally.
