Representative Lynda was by far one of the best I have worked with, she is down to earth, easy to talk to, friendly and very knowledgeable in her field. She wasn’t pushy or desperate for a sale, she took the time to find exactly what I wanted! We spent quite a long day together with how specific I was being on what I wanted and she didn’t let me settle on something or act impatient when I didn’t like her suggestions. If I ever buy another car, I will be going to her again. It won’t let me add a second review or experience so I wanted to add this,ONE MONTH LATERLandon, Finance representative was fantastic! I had a financial miscommunication with my contract and was told I had to put money down from some other manager who demanded money. And said they had called me multiple times, when they had not. After reaching out to the wonderful Sales Rep Lynda, Landon immediately called me and had corrected the issue, and reassured me it had been resolved. I’ve never been more impressed with a dealership and their follow up. Thanks you guys, you have done an awesome job!

While I was able to get a stellar price on the car, everything after that has been absolutely disgusting. I had a brand new 2021 and after 2000 miles every light in the car started coming on. I called Layton Audi, the dealer I bought it from, and they told me it would be over a month before they could get me in. My expectation is this is an Audi dealership, but I’ve come to realize that when you pair Audi with Volkswagen you’re going to get a different experience than when you pair Audi with Porsche. I called the Salt Lake City, strong Audi, and they were able to get me in within one week and I didn’t even buy the car from them. They will get my service from here on out and I will not return to Layton Audi.

Tayler is very professional. He was a great example of quality service and performance. Much like the Audi that I own. I would recommend anybody to this dealership for service. At the very end of my dealings with him. He reminded me that I had a tire that was showing low. They checked it and confirm that there was no leaks but told me to keep an eye on it.

They were excellent at communicating throughout the process. Theyve earned my trust as a customer, I would highly recommend them!

If there was an option for zero stars or even lower, I would use it. I have never been treated so poorly by any auto dealership or any business for that matter. My husband and I were working with a sales rep, Brittany, who gave us a quote on what they would purchase our car for. We go in the FIRST time and Brittany was nowhere to be found and we got James. James takes us around the lot and nothing really stood out, he also wasnt listening to what we were looking for, and kept trying to give us options that were nowhere near what we said we wanted/needed. Then my husband gets back in touch with Brittany and we go back in to sell our car, once again, Brittany is nowhere to be found, we get James - again, and he tells us a number DIFFERENT/lower than what Brittany told us. The second I mention My husband and I were told... the entire tone of the interaction changed. James left to get a manger, then we get Mackay and we explain the frustration, and he basically says, mistakes happen, but she is not allowed to give numbers like that. Mackay was so passive with us and felt like he just wanted us out. So then we ask him to go back and at least confirm what James told us on the number to sell, and Mackay comes back and says he was instructed not to buy our car. I have never felt more discriminated against, never been treated so poorly so quickly, never have felt more embarrassed and confused due to error on the retailers side and then dismissed so quickly. I would not recommend going here. We have purchased from Young Chevrolet and had AMAZING experiences but the people at Young Audi/VW.... really were awful to my husband and myself and zero remorse or accountability for their own mistake. Zero stars. Would not recommend. Really turned cold on us once they realized we were a gay married couple. It was truly an awful experience. Wouldnt even wish that type of feeling on an enemy.

I would give zero stars if possible. The absolute worst service center I’ve ever been to. The service used to be great but has gone down over the last year.I scheduled an appointment through their website for 4:30pm. When I arrived to drop it off they told me they close in 30 minutes and would not be able to work on my car. I asked why I was able to schedule an appointment for the time AND get confirmation and they told me they have no control over their online scheduling. I got no apologies or effort to try and get me in the following day. This is not the first time I’ve had poor service like this and am very disappointed. I do not recommend taking your car here.

My regular mechanic couldn’t figure out the problem I was having with my S5. The codes that he was reading were not detailed enough. So I thought I would take it to the dealer. The service manager at Audi of Layton was very patient and understanding. What I didn’t realize, is the dealer has access to Audi experts at corporate Audi. They got it all figured out and I also had them do the 35000 mile maintenance. Very detailed and maintenance is extremely important on these high performance cars. . Their shop looks very clean and organized. My car is running like it is brand new. I will be going back in the future and I can recommend them to others.

I initially went in for a door module program on my 2015 A4 S-Line. Turns out I had purchased the wrong door module and Tyler and team let me know. I found the correct module on eBay for $17, plugged it in and it turned out the issue wasn’t the module at all, but a bad connection to the door harness from the body which was discovered at the dealership. I misunderstood the diagnosis (video would have helped) but Tyler and the owner made sure I was contacted for clarification. Now that I understand the fix, my door is working properly again thanks to the efforts from the team at Audi Layton.

VTR ... I thought this car dealer Scam had gone away! It doesn’t stand for Vehicle Title Registration, it stands for Vehicle Theft Registration! Another dealer rip-off scam in which the VIN is etched onto the vehicles windows and then the vehicle is registered into some kind of database in case it is stolen. That was done years ago. Now dealers have gotten even lazier and it’s no more than a sticker put on the inside of the doors, the trunk or hatch and the hood. Apparently, the registration process is optional and you should be informed ahead of time. They didn’t even do that, they just added it into the contract for an additional $249.00. I spotted it and new right away exactly what it was. I told the salesman I didn’t want it. I was told “everyone pays for it and they won’t take it off!” “I was also told, the owner was making sure every new car being sold was going to have VTR, Period!”Okay, here’s what really pisses me off, not the fact I’m paying an extra $249.00 that is unnecessary but the simple fact the dealership is making sure every new car is going to be sold with that extra fee. They sale on average approximately 125 new Audis a year, that’s an extra $31,125.00 a year. They most likely sale twice as many VW so they are making over $90,000.00 a year on that one up charge! Most other dealerships will take it off if you bring it up and tell them you don’t want it!

He later called and said that wasnt the problem after a $500 ticket. He quoted me $4,900 dollars for a guessing game they play with your car. When I went to pick it up he acted like he didnt care that his technician wasnt knowledgeable about cars. All he said was thats how things go I would not recommend this dealer at all. My niece took her car here and the manager in the service department definitely tried to get as much money from her as possible. I know better than to take a car to a dealership but I recommended this place to my niece. The service manager and technicians recommended that she get a new O2 sensor for 330 bucks. Way over priced! We took the car to another technician and found out the issue was as simple as the pins in the pig tail of the O2 sensor harness were bent and couldnt make contact with the O2 sensor itself. The technicians here cant even pay attention to detail and the manager doesnt even seem to care. Why should I take my car here or recommend any one to this place? Especially after the attitude that was exhibited by the service manager when I went with my niece to get her car. I told him we werent getting it fixed here. He then tossed the keys on desk and we left. Horrible customer service.

There are several issues going on with this dealership. First, I’ll mention it’s a European import dealership. Import parts are higher, understandable and I knew that when I purchased my car. That being said, the diagnosis price is insane; the oil change price is almost double what I would pay at a smaller mechanic or JiffyLube. Could not tell me how long an “average” maintenance would take on this car (which is one of the most common models they sell).Unfortunately I decided to bring my car to the Audi dealership because almost all local mechanics in a 20 mile radius don’t advertise as import mechanics or they don’t handle imports at all or they seem flat out sketch OR there’s a scheduled out waiting list. With some of the mechanical issues, I needed it in ASAP. Which is why I’ll bite the bullet price-wise.The check in staff at the Audi service center was absolutely terrible and rude. Bad attitude, bad communication and a “you’ll have to live with what you get” mentality. Like I mentioned above, big lack of information being provided. He also told me it may taken longer than tomorrow (a FULL business day) just to simply tell me what the diagnosis is. Today is Thursday, this weekend is Labor Day Weekend, so they’re closed Monday. Based on his feedback, I made not even know what the heck is wrong with my car until Tuesday.I’m already afraid of what the overall cost will be when it’s finished. Like I mentioned, would have rather found a smaller imports mechanic to handle it in the Layton or Ogden area that could have gotten me in sooner than a week.

This last visit will be my very last visit to Cutrubus Audi and other Cutrubus establishments. My last visit was for a turbo boost sensor code that first popped up in 2017, which a tech repaired some wiring. Three years later the sensor is throwing codes again and Audi says, replace the sensor. Well I got a second opinion and it turns out the wiring repair was done improperly. Wired correctly for $50 and NOT replacing the sensor the vehicle runs like a dream again. Not only that, but they wanted over $300 to replace the sensor that is $30 and is probably the easiest sensor to access in any vehicle (10 minute fix, including driving the car in and out of the shop). This visit was also mainly for an oil change and checking the coolant because the coolant level sensor was beeping. After inspection they said that the wiring to the sensor needed to be replaced and it would fix the problem. Low and behold after getting my car back there was NO COOLANT in the expansion tank. NONE! Who gives a car back to an owner with NO COOLANT!?!? The tank had a stained line in it so it appeared full, but it simply wasnt. Basically they didnt do their job.How do I know I even got an oil change at this point? My other problem here is the service representative Troy. Troy has no issue be extremely rude and honestly seems to have a very limited knowledge of car mechanics. He is arrogant and always short with customers. I am honestly surprised Audi has let him maintain employment, and as long as he is there I will never return.Complete disappointment in an establishment that should be taking pride in being a preferred location to actually fix your car. These techs seem to only know what the computer tells them, which is recommend to replace everything.

I rarely write reviews, but cant stop myself. This service department is awful. Took my Q3 in because it was making a lot of noise at cold start. Guy at service desk didnt seem to believe my story. They kept the car a couple days, then texted me saying they couldnt fix it. Car is brand new with under 7K miles. I stated that they need to fix it because its got an issue and its under warranty. Guy at the desk texts me you know I have the upper hand here. Hes lucky he wasnt at work the day I came to pick up the car. I had a head full of steam. I took the car down to Audi in SLC where they quickly diagnosed the issue (two service bulletins) and fixed it. Too bad Ill have to make the longer drive to SLC now, but its well worth it. Finally, the service web page is terrible. If you schedule an appointment on the Audi service page, its scheduled on the Volkswagen calendar. When you show up at the appointed time, Audi service isnt expecting you. No this was not user error. I double checked twice.

My experience was with Troy, the supervisor. I am an 18 year old female and he DEFINITELY tried to use that to his advantage. The first time I went, I paid $120 for a diagnostic when I already knew what was wrong and just needed them to reset the check engine light. Well less than a week goes by and the light comes back on so I take it back. Troy tries to get me to pay the $120 diagnostic fee AGAIN. But I raised my voice and argued that this is their fault for not fixing it correctly. So they diagnose it and its the same problem as before that is fixed and just needs to be reset. Instead of going in and actually resetting it, they tell me to drive it for 150 miles so itll reset itself. Well obviously it doesnt just reset itself, so I end up back there after 150 miles. They try to get me to pay the diagnostic fee AGAIN (third try). I argue and try to get him to understand by telling him everything but he interrupts me and says that I have to pay it. So I run through the whole story again, without letting him interrupt me. He still says that Im going to have to pay it. So I just said fine, whatever because I was going to be bringing my uncle and the paperwork with me later because I was NOT going to pay it again when it was there fault I was back in the first place. Troy also said that my breakpads were completely worn and needed to be changed immediately. One of his employees pulled me aside and told me that they were barely starting to wear down and were fine for at least another year (got a second opinion and my break pads are fine like the employee said). When I came back with my uncle to talk payments (we were ready to argue and had paperwork in hand), Troys demeanor changed immediately. He actually smiled at me and was pretending to be nice in the first time of the three visits. Troy didnt even try to bring up the diagnostic payment now that my uncle was there and only argued a little bit when we said we were going elsewhere to get it fixed (he was trying to charge me $375 for something he was already supposed to have fixed). He did end up tossing my $300 key fob (with attitude) onto the counter towards me instead of setting them down gently. I definitely dont recommend going here at all, but ABSOLUTELY dont go here if youre a little guy like me that people think they can push around.

Havent been too happy with the two visits I have made to this Cutrubus. The first was a car buying experience, we saw they had just gotten a car in that we were interested in so we gave them a call and set up a time to come see it later the next day, at their request, so they could detail it (as like I said they had just got it in). So my husband and I went in the next day at our scheduled time and the car was TRASHED cigarette butts everywhere in the car among other things.. it was just absolutely disgusting.. needless to say we bought our Audi elsewhere. Second experience I took my Audi to the servicing department, I called and set up an appointment a little over a week in advance for an oil change and to get a recall done. I dont live particularly close so I dropped the car off and my husband followed behind so we could get some breakfast and run some errands. It took them 4 hours to finally call me and tell me my car was ready to be picked up, but that they were only able to do the oil change because they did not have the appropriate parts to fix the recall... But they would call me when they do..Are you kidding me?? 4 hours for an oil change??? And now I have to drive around with a potentially life threatening recall (airbag) in the dead of winter?? That was a month ago and I still havent heard back about it Im probably going to go to the Audi dealership in SLC instead which is an hour from my home. The best part of the entire experience is at least they gave my car a much needed wash (the outside only didnt even vacuum my floor mats) and gave me an update on the overall health status of my Audi via a video text.

I told them that was interesting considering my car had 19,000 miles on it at that moment i was calling. They told me i must be reading it wrong. (Current reading is 31,112). You think Audi would know what and how to mount tires on a Quattro?? My mistake for assuming they knew....it destroyed one tire which means 4 new ones. They were new. I called, emailed and NOTHING still. I tried Eric, Shawn/Sean both and not a word back. Beware of this place as they wont back their work and fix their mistakes.

Lousy experience purchasing a vehicle. They tried to gyp me out of my trade-in value; luckily I caught it. However I failed to catch that before they added the taxes, titles, and fees, they had actually raised my purchase price by over $1,000. Upon finding this discrepancy later, I asked them to rectify the situation (I had the text messages from the salesman showing the promised price) and they did a song and dance trying to explain that out the door price does NOT include fees and taxes. Google it. Theyre wrong and they know it.Also, I took advantage of the 30-day cancellation option in the extended warranty. Finance guy promised he had submitted the proper paperwork, but after 3-months of dodging my phone calls and emails, I still had no refund. Upon contacting Audi corporate headquarters, they informed me that no paperwork had been submitted. These guys are absolutely dishonest. Also, promising to detail your car apparently means take it through their crappy gas-station tunnel car wash, not actually detailing the car.Additional advice - if you have purchased a car here, check your oil. Mine was so low it didnt even register on the dipstick.Stay away from these guys. It was an awful, awful experience.#CutrubusScrewedUs.

Spoke to Troy under Audi service about a rear fog light issue. He sounded lazy and disinterested to help out. He said and I quote We dont really get a lot of those, and I dont remember the last time we worked on rear fog lights. Troy asked me to bring my car in.How do you expect me to feel confident to bring my car to a dealership when you say that the technicians are busy, and I have not a clue as to how you can possibly fix this? This is exactly why I DIY. I know some good people at Cutrubus and this guy aint one of them.

Hopefully they find my parts that I ordered. Yes, I ordered them some months ago, but now theyre trying to tell me I already picked them up. No. No I did not! Refund me if you cant find them please. Giving 2 stars for attempting to right the situation after accusing me of picking them up already.

Cutrubus Audi was amazing. We are from out of state, on way to wedding with few hours to spare. Engine light on brand new Audi, we purchased in Washington, came on. Cutrubus got us in immediately to diagnose. In an hour we were on our way with the problem fixed (software update). We were so happy with their help!! They went way out of their way to get us to the wedding!

I called 4 time to schedule completion of a recall on the airbags on our Audi. Three times they said they had to call to see when they could get the parts and never called me back. The fourth time I called, I got the same response and I requested that they put me on hold and check immediately, since three previous occasions they failed to return the call or leave a message. The representative stated he would put me on hold, but stated he may not pickup again. What a joke. They were more concerned whether I bought the Audi from them. Since I hadnt they seemed to care less. I called Audi Bozeman, who scheduled an appointment immediately and took care of me like an Audi dealership should. Shame on you Audi Layton.

Ive never had worse customer service than what I received from the parts department today. I think his name was Brian. He asked me to not call in more than once with the same question. First off the first call was to get a price and availability, the second call was to place the order and confirm they will have to source them from somewhere else. He began to lecture me on how calling multiple times for the same part is unnecessary. So is using Cutrubus. I gladly placed the order with a different company. This parts guy has turned me away from Cutrubus altogether.

Terrible service. Our salesman was great. We had issues with the car on our drive home from the dealership. I immediately called and was brushed off....and that has been the pattern. The manager told us they do a thorough check of the car, but then told me brakes were squeaking because of rust buildup. Did that rust build up over night or was it ignored like other issues on their check of the car before selling it? Dishonest. Sneaky. Deceitful. The Audi is a great car, if you want one I suggest going to a different dealership.

Worst experience of my life being there as an employee. I would never buy a car there. They are a bunch of liars. They will only tell you what you want to hear and give you empty promises. Stay clear away from Cutrubus Audi Volkswagen. Buy your car somewhere else. Youll be happy you did!! The parts manager Brendan needs to be fired because he treats his employees like crap.... I hope he gets whats coming to him for treating people with major disrespect.

I would give this place zero stars if I could. Audi as a whole usually portrays a great customer service buying experience, this being my 4th Audi I have purchased, 1st from Cutrubus I will never be going to this dealership again. My buying experience was mediocre to say the least and then getting my vehicle maintenance in their on site service department is appalling. The service writers are very unprofessional and down right rude, the lack basic communication skills and can never give you a direct answer on a repair or not. They sent me a detailed parts list however when I asked for an exact description I received just parts that are needed like filters and sensors and things. I have called to speak to the service manager on multiple occasions and conveniently enough he is never in the office, on vacation, or on a conference. I have left my name and number with multiple employees in and out of the service department and have never received a phone call back. Needless to say I would recommend just avoiding this dealership as a whole, Ken Garff Audi of Salt Lake had no problem taking over my account and the customer service has been excellent.

We were sitting down to discuss options on a great little vw golf, but as we tried to express our financial needs and compare them to our secondary option at Young Subaru the rep Rodney got very pushy and rude about negotiating. We ended up going with a Subaru instead.

We purchased our Audi here and had a good experience originally. Briefly had to talk to the sales manager Ray and he was awful. Luckily he was not our sale person or we would have left. Service was great at first and always dealt with Scott, the service advisor. He knew tons about the Audis and personally owned the same model. Well...that has changed. Scott left and now they have Troy. Troy is Not a people person at all. Feels like you just walked into a Jiffy lube. He doesnt take notes or listen to what your explaining. They did stuff to my car that I expressly told them NOT to! I dont blame the technicians because they were not told! I was a service advisor for 8 years for a multi-line dealer. I will go elsewhere just to avoid dealing with this guy.

I stopped by Cutrubus VW last weekend during their sale event, and I have to say that it was one of the best car buying experiences Ive had. They were very honest with me on the deal, gave me a very reasonable trade in value on my car, and the price of my new Golf was great. All in all, it was a very straightforward deal. Ive also had a HORRIBLE experience with Southtowne, so I am glad to come to Cutrubus. Ive had my VWs serviced at Cutrubus VW for years, so its good to buy a car straight from them. Thanks, Cutrubus VW!
