My last cut/color was over 8 months ago. To make things worse I attempted to cut myself bangs during quarantine and had dyed my hair at home. As a result, my hair was overgrown, badly damaged, and had an uneven color. Holly was understanding and helped remedy my mistakes.I now have vibrant color and the cut I’ve always wanted. Holly is the absolute best! If you’re looking for a stylist who can get the results you want book an appointment with her. You won’t be disappointed. I have been coloring my hair for over 14 years and she is one of the best cosmetologists I’ve had the pleasure of working with! The employees where extremely polite and knowledgeable. There able to assist persons who have no idea what they want, in finding the right perfume or cologne for themselves.

I came to pick up an order the sales associate asked to see my Id which had I had never been asked before. I decided to return one of the items she said I had to get in line for and wait to be helped. Then when another customer got in line while I was still waiting who happened to be the same race as her (I’m black) she asked if she was ready to be helped. I’ve had good interactions from other people who work here who don’t pick in choose who and when to help people but I won’t be coming back

Natasha is the best! I’ve been to other salons and they could never quite achieve the hair cut and style that I wanted. She is very friendly and personable and really takes her time in talking through the process with her clients and styling your hair as well. It was my first time going to her and it will certainly not be the last!

Natasha did a fantastic job on my hair I received a cut, color and press. She made a beautiful cherry cola color for me! She took her time to explain the COVID safety precautions that were in place to keep me safe and she walked me through every single step as she did my hair. Natasha is very kind and easy to talk to and provided me with one of the best salon experiences I’ve had to date.

I went in after being turned away by 6 other salons and Natasha took me last minute and was absolutely amazing and did a beautiful job on cutting my hair and making me feel important. You want the best place to go for a haircut, go here and talk to Natasha.

I always have a great time shopping here and Ive been a great supporter of the brand but Ill never visit this location again. I had called 30 minutes before closing (at 8) to ask if it would be ok if I could have the products I asked if they had in stock to be left at the front counter and that I might come a little after 8 because I wasnt close to the location. The lady over the phone that it was ok and my products would be at the front.So I rushed over to the location, being mindful of their time because from experience I know how frustrating it is to have people come in after closing, and once I arrived at the door around three minutes after 8, the door was to be expected locked and I saw four employees at the front counter and when I knocked on the door, everyone acted like they didnt see me standing there. Not one person even peeked out to see if I had a question. After almost 10 minutes of standing there, someone finally opened the door to leave and as I tried to explain that someone from their store informed me that my products were at the front counter and it would be ok for me to come after 8. One of the representatives told me that they had already shut down and that I couldnt enter the store because of liability reasons. So not only did I waste my gas driving over there, I was ignored on purpose for almost 10 minutes, and I didnt even get some help on figuring out who was the one that told me it was ok to come after closing.The whole experience was honestly a deal breaker and Ill never be paying another dime here.

I like that I am often asked if I need assistance. I am often overlooked/ignored in stores, so its appreciated. Theres sales. The store is clean, not junky. The cashiers are friendly.

I love the store but be aware even though it’s says Sunday open @ 11am they don’t open until 12 pm sharp.

I have been going to Natasha for my last 4 hair services and believe me when I say she. Is. Awesome. She can do it all, cut, color, style, she even does make up and it always comes out amazing. Natasha was amazing to say the least! I came in wanting a nice fall red color and she gave me exactly what I wanted! Natasha cut my hair a cute, voluminous cut first, and then the fun began! I was so excited, and she was too. Despite my super thick hair making it super time consuming, Natasha was so patient and cheerful the whole time. She walked me through each step and told me exactly what products she was using and what she was using it. She came to check on me when the color was setting, even though she was technically on break. We joked and laughed a lot, she made me feel like a long-time friend. Once the color was done, we were on hour 3 at this point. She still took the time to curl it beautifully and didn’t charge any extra. She even showed me an amazing lip color to pair with my new red hair! I felt like a whole new person and everything turned out so well. She even does makeup and wedding hair. I can’t wait to come back to her!

Every time I go into this store I am followed. Last time it happened I talked to the manager about it. This time the manager was the one actually following me around. If you are that concerned about theft maybe should not be open or you should find people who understand that everyone who enters your store is not a thief. What’s the saying:? Shame on you the first time, shame on me the second, there will not be a third. This branch desperately needs diversity training for EVERYONE.

Definitely won’t be ordering ANYTHING from Ulta ever again! I’ve literally been three times and each time was horrible. It’s obvious that just hire anyone. The employees are rude, unprofessional and have no respectful. Two different locations but the level of unprofessionalism is the same. They even lacked the basics of customer service. I wasn’t a fan before and I’m not a fan now.

I just had the best experience at Ulta Hair Salon in the Laurel Town Center. Natasha cut, colored, and styled my naturally curly hair, and completely changed my visit from a mere hair appointment to an experience fit for royalty. She assisted me in choosing a sexy, fall hair color to complement my skin tone and personality. Meanwhile Christopher transformed two clients into the masterpieces God intended. Outstanding!

I trying to say this nice does staff pick who they help off looks. Me and fiance came in there to look for cologne for me and facial products for her willing to pay crazy prices just because of there name. As we walked around not one person acknowledge us we had a baby and casual clothes on. End this they are very unprofessional. I shouldnt have to ask you for help.

Today I walked in and was blessed to get a blow out appt 15 minutes later. Natasha was AMAZING! She gave me exactly what I asked for! I wanted a blow out with lots of volume. She even pinned it up for me so that tomorrow it will be perfect. She introduced me to all of the products she used on my hair and explained the benefits. I am totally coming back for another service with Natasha. She was A+.

This Ulta is wonderful! The staff is always so helpful and the makeup artist I had do my make up was funny and did an awesome job. I can always find what Im looking for and if I cant the staff offer to order it to my house at no extra charge. I look forward to shopping here with my friends.

A great place to get beauty supplies for your favorite gal, friend, partner etc. Ladies are always friendly and courteous. Shelves are always well stocked and presentable. Floors and display cases are always clean and shinny. Prices are as expected, but freebies are plentiful. Just ask.

This is my second time shopping at Ulta. Ive only been to the Laurel location. On both occasions, I felt very unwelcomed. Yesterday, there was a store associate that followed my 5 yr old and I, from aisle to aisle. I didnt get her name, but shes a middle aged black woman with short hair. In every aisle she stood there watching us. Her actions made me think that she thought we were stealing or about to steal, so she wanted to watch us shop in every aisle. Since she was following us, I wondered what made her single us out from the other customers. I dont know if this store has a high amount of theft, but there has to be a more discreet, professional manner to handle that type of issue that does not involve making your customers feel targeted and uncomfortable. Also, most of the products that I was looking for had spaces for them, but they were not on the shelf. There were so many empty spaces and bare shelves where products would have been. The only items that were in stock were the ones that people dont really buy anyway. As many of the other reviews state, I will repeat. The poor level of customer service here is disgusting and more training is strongly suggested.

I went to the Salon for the first time yesterday. Let me say Christopher is a miracle worker. I came in with my hair completely damaged (I went to another salon the day prior and they butchered my hair, seriously I looked like a witch). He got me in the same day, worked his magic and my hair turned out beautifully! I will definitely be returning to use his services!

This is a great place for any beauty buy. The people are great and helpful. They also are super generous with the samples. The selection is a little overwhelming but very organized & clean so its just knowing what you want. I suggest trying something new with every visit cause there is so many awesome finds. This is the closest Ulta to me. It’s always kinda messy but they pretty much always have what I need. Luckily I rarely need staff help which is great because none of them seem eager to help (they’re always stocking stuff??? Like always it seems). Can’t go wrong with ulta though, it’s a nationwide chain and this location is easy to get to.

Staff were extremely helpful and offered recommendations to products I purchased. I am highly satisfied with all of the items I purchased. The prices were reasonable, and I was able to utilize an online coupon.

I am not the man I was before, though its hard to remember those memories which I held eons ago, when I first walked through the doors of this store because my wife said she had a coupon for a free small sized cream. Rather than go straight for the cream, she wandered the store while I was subject to constant retinal bombardment from the pink brightness of everything in this store. I spent so long waiting around while no one offered to help my wife find whatever it was that she needed that by the time she was done my physical form was long gone. Now I remain here as a wraith, among all the other apparitions of husbands long gone from the material realm, eternally wandering and warning other husbands of the price you pay when you bring your wife in to claim a free small sized cream.

Really big store with a variety of products from lotions to hair dryers. Isles can feel tight if someone has to pass by you. Not much help around the store if you have a question, have to go up to the cashier for that. Maybe the time we were there at but it was true for both times we stopped by the store. Check out speed was good and staff was polite.

Made an appointment for a hair cut and got there 10 minutes early. Was asked to wait for a bit while she finished up a makeup (no worries!) - hour later goes by... sitting in the waiting area - get up look for her and shes coloring someone elses hair now. Gave up and went to check out. Only one person on register with a line backing up.I know they can do better so I hope they seeing this will get some timing on the weekends worked out. I go to ULTA because I know they give better service and its worth the price difference - today sucked.

Prices are just slightly higher for products that I can get at Walmart. Unfortunalely Walmart does not stay stocked up in my area of Maryland. I love the large variety of beauty products at Ulta, so I prefer to shop here instead of wasting gas going to Walmart.

A coworker of mine went here a few months ago to get a keratin treatment. She has very, very thick wavy hair. Ive never seen her scalp, lol. The treatment was beautiful on her. She wound up with reddish overtones and deep waves. I dont know if that was the intended result, because she didnt ask for color, but it looked great. Ive seen very poor reviews for this salon, so Id do my due diligence. Find out who the star beautician is. She or he must exist, because my friends hair was gorgeous!

Was not impressed with the PG plaza mall store. It was myself and an elderly family member. The security continued to follow us around. I mean she walker! COME ON NOW..HOW FAR AND QUICK would she get to steal something. 2nd issue no one in the store on the floor to help. I asked a few people for help.but they were vendors. Got some help from the one cashier on duty... but I wanted to.buy other things but was not going to keep going back and fourth in the store especially with my elderly grandmother who used a walker. No sales people or anyone on floor to.help or greet you.m not a good impression at all.

Verified online they had a product at their location only to find that it is not accurate and you must call the store. Then learned my trip wasnt wasted because I could order and have delivered to my house. Again learned thats not the case either because buy one get one free wasnt eligible being ordered. Entire experience was very disappointing.

I love the wide array of products that address every beauty need one could imagine. It is a beauty lobees dream. Shower me with lotions and potions.

I went here to get my brows done and eye lashes put on for the first time. Everything was going good. The lady was my brows and left a small mark between my brows, I guess is bled or something. Anyways whats worse then that is two days after I got my lashes on I tried taking them off. They bothered me when I tried to sleep and it was my first time wearing fake lashes. Anyways I went back and asked them to take them off and she went to the manager and asked if she could and the lady said she couldnt and they dont sell remover there.. so then the lady gave me two q tips with stuff on it and told me to go to my car. Anyways, I ended up going to a beauty supply store and getting eye lash remover and make up remover which did the trick after almost going blind.. needless to say I wont be going back.

The associates here are not welcoming they act like you are bothering them. They have people following you aisle to aisle like you are about to steal. They make your shopping experience uncomfortable.

Honestly this isnt the best ulta in the area. It has your basics, no colourpop or a big BH section. They do have a large-ish morphe section which is a plus. The customers at this Ulta are what make it trash, people ruin the displays and mess the store up completely destroy pallets I only ever go here if I really REALLY need something. If you have the time I would advise you go to another store the one in Columbia is phenomenal the Arundle Mills and Silver Spring are also great!

This location is nice and clean. My daughter goes here to get her hair done. India is veey good with her hair and can color like nobodies business! I like this store and the shade ranges for this store are ok but if you are dark, Ive found, that they dont always have my shade. It stinks but I find my shades elsewhere if they discontinue them or plain run out.

Not what I expected at all! Its a big place, but the selection of items is not great. Lots of eye makeup and foundations. Could hardly find a blush product. No staff to offer help were visible. Several stations set up for makeovers were unattended. Prices werent any better than my salon. Underwhelmed.

I am glad I met Deezya at the register. She helped me finding the product I need for my oily skin. She was really helpfull.

I had the worst experience at this salon. First they screwed up my appointment, then ruined my hair!!! I went to get my highlights toned down and the salon lady just colored my whole head. Then I went back to get them fixed and then she charged me for the whole service again. Be careful choosing this ulta salon for your hair. People have their own prices and will mess up your hair. The manager has a lot of attitude as well.

I will not return to this store again! I rated this store a 2 only because of the variety of products.This is the third time I have visited this ULTA Beauty store in Laurel and each time I was ignored. There were no greetings upon entering the store and no one ever asked me if I needed any assistance. Im sure if i would have put something in my purse without paying for it, there probably would have been four people approaching me. Of course Im being cynical with this part because I am far from a thief, just trying to make a point. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE THERE! Love the one stop shop for my beauty needs. On this particular visit it was hard to get help and didnt receive a friendly reception. They were too involved with the conversation they were having to even acknowledge me and when I said excuse me they acted as if I was bothering them. Lol All that and they didnt have what I was looking for.

Clean, well organized and friendly staff make shopping there a great experience. The fact they have sales and coupons all the time can make things (like a new Babyliss blow dryer) cheaper than even Walmart or Amazon prices.

I went there on a Thursday. A girl their was sort of rude, when I asked her what foundation would work for me. She brought it, put it on my face and left me there to sort myself out.

Pathetic customer service! Made me wait for a good half hour just to look for a straightening brush and trying to order it which was also a fail!The manager was least bothered in even trying to make it work for me! And laughing about it later! Waste of time and efforts! Will be going to other stores from now on for sure! Pathetic experience!

The associates of the store are NOT welcoming at all. Please do not waste your time at this location, no one is willing to help if you have any questions or if you need assistance with anything. The store just feels dead and I literally left to drive 30 minutes to go another location. I will not be returning!
