If I can give MINUS 5 stars I would to this pharmacy for overall professionalism or just being simply helpful. I walked in today for Flu shot (as CVS markets to do) walk-ins around noon. Person at the pharmacy just wasnt wanting to even accommodate saying I cant do it before 2. When I offer I can wait until you get to me without any problem no positive response at all. This place has consistently failed to do better in my may attemps to give it a try to gain trust back.
Worst ever. They deserve minus 10 stars. Very rude and unprofessional staff. They need to close this horrendous place.
If no stars was possible, Id ask for negative stars anyway. This location is RIDICULOUSLY understaffed in the pharmacy department. I was on a Roadie delivery and I have currently been at this location for almost 2 hours. Its over 10 people here waiting and its ridiculous. It makes no sense. Hire more PEOPLE! Im not from Maryland but my experience here has been horrible. This place solidified why I seriously dont want to be in this state.
NEGATIVE STARS- Worse CVS pharmacy ever, they never have the medication filled on time. If you call they barely pick up it will ring ring and ring for 30 or 40 min or until you decide to hang up. Always short on staff and drive thru is always a long wait as well of inside so you have no luck. Needs new management!
Barely answers the phone for you or your doctor doesnt matter. So you are forced to go there and wait in the forever line that goes down the aisles. Many days fresh from the hospital about to pass out waiting and waiting. 🤷🏾♂️ And this was even before covid so that is not an excuse.
Drop my Rx off over 24 hours called multiple times no one will ever ever answer the phone. Unable to get the status of my scripts.. I have never experienced this with no other pharmacy but this one they are rude and in human. If I could give them o star I would. Management and staff are poorly trained.
Been on hold 60 minutes, seems like someone comes and puts phone back on hold without saying anything. Important enough to call at 8:35 pm someone should be answering phone. Supposed to be 24 hr Pharmacy, doesnt appear to be. Question for pharmacist. Ill sue if I die tonight finally hung up tired of recording can recite now
Only pharmacy that will take 2 more hours to fulfill your prescription of hydrocortisone after waiting in line for 40 minutes. Then when you come back and wait in line for another 40 minutes once that 2 hr window is up, they will tell you that they need 30 more minutes to complete your prescription.I think its called a 24 hour pharmacy because thats how long it takes to get your prescriptions.
Today, I went to the pharmacy to get a prescription, they didnt have it, so I asked my doctor to give me a prescription again, they still didnt have it, so I called my doctor again, and my doctor called the pharmacy directly to tell them about the prescription. When I got back the doctor called me and said they were already doing it. I think thats the end of the matter. But unexpectedly, I asked again when my prescription would be ready. They told me tomorrow. I cant believe it. Google cant give zero stars, so I can only give one star.
The WORST pharmacy ever. The Drive thru is always closed, prescriptions never ready when promised, slow/long lines inside, unpleasant pharmacy technicians/pharmacist and extremely understaffed. Most times they only have one person back there doing everything from filling prescriptions to ringing up customers to administering vaccines to answering the phone ( that’s if they ever get to the phone). You will be on hold for at least an hour and you still may not get anyone to pick up
Will not return. For the past year, the pharmacy is horrifically understaffed - on most occasions. Its not fair to the pharmacists and staff who work hard and appear stressed. Other cvs pharmacies I have filled prescriptions at do not have it this bad. I plan to speak to management. They are not on top of the problem.
They gotta close this pharmacy while they hire new ppl. Been here for almost an hour and about to be late for work. One guy running everything within the pharmacy which makes just an awful experience. Seems everybody else in line shares this thought.Update to my last review: this place made me an hour late for work. Came in at 10pm, left at 1140, and still didnt get my perscription. If youre planning on sending your perscriptions here, run as fast and as far as you can from this place. Not worth it.
This pharmacy does not have good service. Also, I am unsatisfied because had to wait 1 hour and 30 minutes and they told me that they will give me my prescription in 1 hour and than they told me to wait another hour. this pharmacy needs better employees.
Cannot get anyone in the pharmacy to answer the phone. Stayed on hold for 60 minutes earlier today and again tonight for 30 minutes before giving up. Seriously considering changing to another pharmacy. Would not recommend this store.
WHO DOES THIS TO A PREGNANT WOMAN ?☹☹☹My wife is pregnant and she was vomiting at home. I went to the CVS to pick up her nausea medicine which was dropped off 5 hours earlier. While in the drive thru the pharmacy technician closed the window in my face. I went inside the store and told her my wifes name. As a form of passive aggression, she told me to repeat my wifes name and birthday over and over. I was so mad at this. she was so happy in being disrespectful and not doing her job properly knowing that a pregnant woman is suffering.I was then asked to get out the line so she can fulfil the order for the lady behind me. I stood my ground but she went ahead and process the lady behind me.I was then told that the prescription could not be filled at the moment and I would have to come another day by another pharmacy technicianI talked with the manager and she had them prepare the prescription. I waited over an hour while the staff laughed and smiled in my opinion at my pain while fulfilling other orders . Then I was told they do not have the nausea medicine in stock by the pharmacist. After waiting 2 hours the medicine that was not there magically appear. I rushed home to my wife to find her laying on the bathroom floor in pain. I had to immediately give her the medicine to provide her some relief. They are a very evil sadistic staff may God bless them 10 folds for their actions.NEVER AGAIN CVS!!!!!!! I rather go to WALGREENS or ANY OTHER ALTERNATIVEWho does this to a pregnant woman? What kind of staff is CVS hiring?A very very bad crop of employees working here. They are all incompetent and happy to be that way
Cant understand why everytime I come to this CVS here in Laurel my prescription is never ready. Called last night and it was in progress of being fill. Here at 12:30 noon and they tell me it not filled yet. What is wrong with this picture. The drive thru is always closed.
I was treated my first time at the pharmacy with no consideration of my time and actually like I was bothering them by trying to pick up my medication I been having transportation problems with my car and its at the shop with my physical id in the so I took a picture of my id and both my medical cards so when i showed them my medical cards the medication was there and ready then they still ask for my id witch i gladly showed and they said oh well the back bar code needs to be scanned so we can put you in the system to become known to them idk but I allready wasted almost 2hrs there waiting so I said look i dont have nothing but a picture of my id I showed you what u need to kno that im who i say I am everthing match and policy says any proof of identification is valid witch i did 3times my day and money has been wasted i have to find a ride home becuase i missed the only bus that I could catch home i cought a lyft with my last money I had becuase i need this medication everyday and now im stranded and have no medication
They never answer the phone! Even when my doctor electronically sends a prescription over, they don’t process it or acknowledge it at all. There is no reason to treat people this way. People rely on them for medication that they need. I had to have my doctor send my prescription elsewhere. This pharmacy is completely useless.
Horrible service. They do not answer the phone at all. I was on hold for over 2 hours once. Every time I call they do not pick up the phone or just hang up on you while youre still on hold.
On hold for 30 mins, took over 3 hours for an expedite prescription. Just don’t bother.
This CVS is a complete disappointment. No one is ever available to help. You can call their phone number and yet be on hold for over an hour, only to be hung up on. They are in serious need of a good manager. I can’t believe corporate still has this CVS open. You get better help from a street pharmacist.
Im on hold now this time its 29:00 and counting. Last time and it was 45:00! I always seem to sit in the drive thru for just as long! CVS really should be ashamed! Im going to for sure look for a new pharmacy 🙄😡
I wish I could give 0 stars. This is by far and away the worst pharmacy Ive ever been to. A one hour prescription took well over an hour and 45 minutes they tell you every couple of minutes 15 more minutes a few more minutes a few more minutes then theyre very dismissive when you get upset because they lied to you. No wonder theyre raiding is 1.6 out of 5 total garbage
My sister needed a new eyeglasses prescription and her eye exam was $79, why the heck this location charged her $40 extra to write the PD that is part of the prescription? How the heck they take advantage of people like that! Sams and other places you ask them for a PD and it’s free you don’t even need to get an eye prescription from them! They charge my poor sister an extra $40 that is plain robbing people. Horrible place and I will have my sister go to Sams and any place is better that this plain robbery!I spoke with Bridget at optometry and she informed me that this is a policy from CVS to charge $40 for something so simple as the PD and that for them it was not part of the prescription and an extra charge. I asked to pass my concern to cvs superiors that 40 Dillard’s represent 4 hours of work and life for something that it should already be included as part of the prescription.
Went in at 5 am and everyone I had help me was nice and friendly. Even at 5 am. The reviews here scared me for no reason.
If I could give a negative review I would give minus the starts the pharmacy never answers the phone the pharmacy staff is rude and nasty to the coustmers I sat on hold for two hours yesterday and continued today remaining on hold its ridiculous how unprofessional this pharmacy is they have mixed up my medications with other peoples medications they are under staffed there is no reason this pharmacy should be run like this
Terrible service. Never got my med on time.
Poor customer service. Long wait for service for prescriptions. Staff ignores drive thru pharmacy customers. Waited 2-3 hrs and had to finally go inside for assistance.
It’s unfortunate that there are so many bad reviews for this location. I am a customer and a provider myself as a physician assistant in urgent care. I had a great experience with the pharmacist Uzoh this morning regarding my medications. This location (and perhaps others) is severely understaffed. They are ALWAYS busy. Imagine being an employee there - overworked, under paid (aren’t we all), and upset customers about the wait or what they feel was poor customer service. Well can you really blame the staff?? It’s difficult to keep going in that situation. Give them some grace. As you wait for your turn, watch how they are CONSTANTLY working!! They aren’t just sitting back eating snacks while you wait. We are in a pandemic and they are doing the best they can with the staff they have right now. It’s a popular location. I understand if you had a bad experience but good employees are hard to find when the job requires constant positivity despite upset patrons who may not be feeling well, are tired from their own jobs, or are exhausted from caring for family. Try to have some understanding. I am realistic in that not every employee or situation are always the best. I see both sides. Please try to see them too
Youd think that for something as vital as insulin, they would be able to fulfill that request in a timely manner. But alas, i must wait for the slow people at this establishment to notify me that i can pick up my medicine nearly 4 hours after the hospital sent the prescription.Cant wait to switch tk a different building that i can only hope is a little but better than this one.
I went inside to the counter to drop off an Rx, and confirmed before I left that they had what I needed in stock. I always check before leaving because it’s not uncommon for them to be out, and then I just go to another store. The pharmacist on duty (someone who was filling in for the regular staff) said they did have it, and I could pick up in 40 minutes. Later he called and said he made a mistake, the drug was on order and would be there the next day. Then the next day I get a text saying it’s still on order, but I can pick my Rx up at another store. Well today (day 4 of the saga), I call in to request they allow me to get it from another store, and come to find out that even though I was texted that option they can’t do it. Also, it’s going to be another 3-4 days before they get it in stock. So total that’s 7-8 days without my meds. Not good! Also, their phone system is horribly garbled. Not just a little, but so much it’s almost intolerable listening to the hold music, and you can barely understand the person talking to you. I had to ask the tech to repeat himself several times. And calls last 10-20 minutes each depending on how long you’re on hold (not the staff’s fault I know, but when paired with the audio torture it makes for a miserable experience trying to get help).
Most staff are unprofessional, the pharmacy never answers the phone, and the lines to the pharmacy are always very long. It is never a simple process in picking up a prescription.
Terrible customer service. The pharmacy is the worst. Take your business elsewhere!
Just horrible. On hold for over 30 mins & no one picks up the phone. Drove across town to pick up my RX & it’s not even ready. Just disconnect the phone if you’re not gonna pick it up. ALL CVS are the same.
Horrible pharmacy service. The drive thru is painfully slow.
Im not sure how much I can say that is new knowledge. Its your average cvs... Have had no issues here or anything.
I am hardly ever leaving reviews but this experience I had too..nobody ever picks up the phone and I mean never! They tell you one time and they switch it up.. I usually look up the reviews before going to places or if I’m using their service but I was in a rush and just picked the closest CVS pharmacy to my home I wish I would have looked at the reviews before I had my prescription sent over there
If I could give zero stars, I would. Prescriptions will not get filled until you physically go to the pharmacy and have them pull up your prescriptions, even if several days have passed since they were called in. Nobody can multi-task. You cannot get a hold of anyone on the phone and will sit on hold for hours only to have nobody answer your call. Inside of the pharmacy, you can hear the sound of the machine telling everyone how many people are waiting to speak to a pharmacist, but nobody seems to care or even notice and the callers eventually get frustrated and hang up.By FAR the WORST pharmacy I have ever experienced.
They close the drive thur right before it was my turn. And its only 2:50 pm on Friday.. Thats shame they do that to us and we need our medicines..
Worst cvs ever man. Sat in the drive thru for 45 minutes and was told to go inside. I go inside another 30 minutes and they tell me to wait on the side I wait to the side and then they call me back and tell me I have to get in A DIFFERENT LINE... Ridiculous
Literally the worst pharmacies you will ever go to. None of the employees can multitask it’s terrible. My prescriptions are never ready. I’ll be taking my prescriptions someplace else. If I could give no stars I would.
Worst pharmacy ever. Ive used them for years they are very incompetent and rude staff.
Slow and poor customer service. Staff Not interested in providing services. I was on hold for an hour. Still no answer.
I want to love this CVS, I moved and this is now my local... the store part isn’t terrible, the staff is friendly. A lot of times I’ve gone for something and it’s not in stock. Lots of items you need assistance with getting due to theft devices. My main complaint is the pharmacy. They are way understaffed. This is a prime location in laurel, they are really busy- and they absolutely do not have enough people to get these prescriptions filled. Three separate occasions I’ve had to wait for simple Rx. Once at 2am I had to wait an hour for Ibuprofen. Last month my boyfriends monthly rx was delayed an entire day. We had to go back four times in one day. This last time takes the cake... I was prescribed an antibiotic. It’s taken 2 days for them to even respond to the prescription. It’s been “processing” for two days. I can’t get through to the pharmacy, four phone calls. I finally get through this morning (Saturday) I explain the RX was sent Thursday... I need it, I have an infection... I’m in a lot of pain. all they ask for is my cell so they can text me when it’s ready. I didn’t know it took 48 hours to fill a 7 days worth of generic antibiotics. Get it together.
Very slow, I felt like I was at a theme park grand opening, or at the state fair waiting in line. Only catch is that instead of 500 people in line it was ONLY 5 people
The store itself is okay as a convenience mart, but the pharmacy is horrible. 3 times in a row prescription has not been run through insurance and been overcharged, and every time a prescription is ordered online, and its definitely placed at this CVS, come in to find its not been filled and have to wait another half hour. Again, the mart is fine, but use a different pharmacy, too much trouble to use this one.
The worst!!!! They told me my prescription would be ready in 1 hr and 2hrs later still not ready and they tried to tell me it hasnt been 1hr since I dropped it off like Im a fool. To make it worst it was a pain medicine and I was in so much pain and unable to get my prescription on time. I wish I could give 0 star... Staff unprofessional!!!!! NEVER EVER COMING BACK TO THIS LOCATION!!!
The pharmacy is what keeps CVS open nationwide. The store itself is overpriced and outdated. With that being said wouldnt you invest more into the pharmacy? It is the only CVS that is 24/7, and really the only one set up for the volume. They two pharmacists at peak time with two assistants, one cashier or two for peak and one at drive through. And off peak one pharmacists, one assistant and one cashier. And if all else fails management can go and help instead of being out of sight on of mind because the store itself is not that busy all the time.
The worst pharmacy ever, do answer, dont fill prescriptions on time. Staff are very rude...esp the girl with the blonde hair...
Waited in the drive thru for 30 mins just to be told the insurance wasnt run properly and I needed to come inside or get back in line behind 7 cars. I had 2 young children with me during a pandemic late at night so going in wasnt an option. After waiting in line again they gave me the wrong medicine and told me thats what my doctor prescribed. The very next morning they called and admitted to giving me the wrong medicine then told me it wouldnt be ready to pick up for 2 more days. Total 1 hour for an unsuccessful trip.Update came back after calling and confirming it was ready just to stand in line for 15 minutes just to be told it isnt ready. This place sucks.
The store has a decent selection of items. I have to say, though, this is absolutely one of the worst CVS pharmacies I have used. The service is so slow, the line is always long, my prescription is never ready on time. If I could, I would absolutely move to another pharmacy.
Everytime I go to this pharmacy I brace myself. There DEFINITELY will be an issue or problem. I only continue to go because it is open after hours. But is it really worth it????
If I could rate a negative, I would! Changing to walgreens pharmacy asap. Its the shopping center next door(very close). The staff is poorly trained and are not helpful at all! I have never picked up a prescription where I do not have to wait for 20+ mins and forget about calling them, you will be waiting for hours to speak with someone. I have called on the day that I was to pick up on different occasions to ensure it will be ready, they told me 30 mins. I went 3 hours later knowing the staff is not able to do the work on time and it still was not ready! Ridiculous! Management or CVS needs to better train or rehire proper staff because the staff that is there IS NOT IT!Do not use this pharmacy. Run!!
If you want your prescription same day or the promised time provided upon filling it; go somewhere else. You can call and fill your prescription at this location 2 days in advance, arrive and be told it’s not ready....I’m not sure if they’re understaffed of just in the business of providing horrible service but this is by far the worst pharmacy to send your prescription.
Slow and they don’t answer the phone at all.
They are very slow specially the pharmacy have to wait hours to get medsthey never answer the phone idk how they stay in business smh
Update as of 08/21/21:This place is horrendous. I have been in line for almost an hour to pick up my prescription. The drive through line is around the corner. There is nocommunication or anything to let us know what is happening. This is crazy.Today I went through the drive thru to get my prescription. When I arrived there were 4 cars ahead of me and then I proceeded to be in line for 45 minutes. One car had to honk to get someone’s attention. When it was my turn in line I had to ring the call button several times and when a person arrived was not provided an explanation as to why I waited 45 minutes. Truly ridiculous and I have had other situations like this at this cvs. I wish management would do something to help their employees.
This pharmacy is such total BS. The people here don’t even know what they are doing they undertrained and rarely over one person working there at a time. I ALWAYS have an issue when I come to pick up my medication I come to this cvs because it’s closest to me in walking distance since I don’t drive . This cvs has put my health at risk I missed a medicine I NEEDED for 3 days that had been ready for pickup as stated in my voicemail because they are all not on the same page and lazy when it comes to actually looking peoples names up and checking to see if the medicine is even ready they just say it’s not or deny ever even having a medication that I pick up WEEKLY in their system. TOTAL BS if you love to put your health at risk send your medications to be picked up from here
I had to transfer my prescriptions out of here. They are seriously understaffed in the pharmacy, and even when I place my refill orders days in advance, my medications are still never ready by the promised pick-up time. Waits tend to exceed an hour for refill prescription pick-ups, and often I would be missing a medication when I finally got them, causing me to return for another excessively long wait. If you can go somewhere else, I would. The frustration is not worth it.
No issues I just went in to grab some essential items this was the closet and easiest one to get to that is actually open 24 hours during the lockdown. Clean and widely spaced. I liked the layout.
This is the BEST cvs you could ever visit the workers are sweethearts they are SO nice
If i could give this place a negative rating, I would. The pharmacy is the worst and this is the absolute last time I will fill my perscriptions here. They never have medicine in stock, claim to order but but never do. They either give you a prescription missing over half or give you childrens liquid medication in powder form. If you call you will wait at least an hour on a good day. You will have to make at least two trips with st least 30 minute waits just to get the medication right. They lie and say the insurance wont fill when the insurance company says they approved it and it can be filled. They give you partial medication and make you pay for your copay twice. I have never had so many issues to pick up medication. I have been coming here for years only because they sre 24 hours but the service is terrible and they openly admit they dont care how you were treated. Way to be a place that is meant to help people. More like take your money, stress you out and make you sick from not getting your medication. I rather drive an hour away to get my medication than continue to deal with this terrible service. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THE PHARMACY!
Worst CVS i have ever been to put in a refill at 7am was ready at 5pm then came waited in lie swear in my life for an hour to atill wait for my precription need a new staff period this rediculous wish i could give them zero stars
At this store for 2+ hours waiting for a simple prescription. Just get your prescription filled somewhere else please. For your own good.
I agree it is a densely populated area but please don’t ask us to give this place any credit because it’s not our fault they are under paid and under staffed this is a business and if they are this busy makes no excuse.it be better off closing because no one can get their medication. My current experience if you severely sick like flu don’t sent to this pharmacy. Be warned. That one star deserves a zero. Unfortunately I can’t go any lower than that.
If I could rate this place a zero, I would. If you call on phone you may wait 30 or 40 minutes on hold. If you go to store you wait in RX line 30 min or more. The drive through can take an hour. Last week I waited 40 min to be told not all my prescriptions were ready even though I got text saying they were. The clerk said “you should have called first”. Also be careful they don’t try to give you the wrong medicine which has also happened
I would give them a negative star if I could. I waited in the pharmacy line for 50minutes and was told they don’t have the prescription and we came in, the line is down the aisle. People have been waiting for 2 hours!!! I never have these issue with other CVS!!! They are unapologetic and if you don’t want to wait 2-3hours for your prescription don come here!!! And yes my prescription was inside!!!
Dont bother trying to call the pharmacy, they will never pick up the phone. Driving to the store was faster. No one there made any effort to pick up the 6+ pharmacy calls I could hear the phone system had on hold.
I would give this CVS -5 starts if it were possible!! THE SLOWEST SERVICE EVER!!!!! The pharmacy is a NIGHTMARE!!!! The line is literally wrapping around the store and non of the employees don’t even care!!! Cannot process prescriptions in a timely manner, incompetent staff, this CVS in both the store and Pharmacy needs to either hire a new manager to better manage this place, or shut it down!! Definitely changing my pharmacy! There’s so many other CVS’s I rather go to than this one!!! AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!!!
I know it’s hard to believe reviews but please believe this one and disregard. The pharmacy is a disgrace.
WAITED OVER AN HOUR TO PICK UP MY PRESCRIPTION! THIS IS RIDICULOUS! I have been coming to this location for years. They are always understaffed. Corporate needs to take action.
Worst pharmacy in all of MD. Told me medication would be ready at 4, arrived at 5 said its not ready and to give them 30 mins. Came back after 2 hours and still not ready . Said to wait another 20 mins. These are some of the laziest and sloppy employees around .
I went to the doctor’s office at 11 am for an ear infection. They sent over the prescriptions and I called. They said the scripts would be ready at 4. I waited in the drive thru around 9 pm and the scripts were not filled. She told me to wait inside, I have been waiting for 45 minutes and I still don’t have my script. WTF. I’m in pain. One pharmacist and at least 20 people waiting for prescriptions. CVS needs to hire more Pharmacist. This is a large volume store, there should be better service. An over worked pharmacist will make mistakes and can be deadly. Hire more pharmacist CVS. CVS just lost my business. I will never send any prescriptions here again.
This pharmacy never has your prescription ready. The wait is horrendous whether or not drive through or walk in! Even when your meds are due they still will not be prepared it doesn’t matter how many days in advance you call in! They either need more help or better management possibly both ! I will not return after going there for over 5 years!
Staff doesnt seem able to handle the work. A simple prescription is currently taking about 2 hrs, although they say it will be ready in 10 min every time I ask... I would stay far away from this one.
1 star is a star too many. They have the slowest most incompetent people in the pharmacy, no one ever answers the phone and the customer service is disgusting. Dont waste your time.
This has to be the worse pharmacy on the planet. Its a shame that the most convenient pharmacy in the area has the worse service ever! The customer service is absolute trash. CVS corporate needs to come and sweep the whole store!
Avoid this so called pharmacy at all costs. They not rude, but they DO NOT have enough employees. Its always backed up. If they say youll be ready in a few hours, it might take a whole day. They arent putting the scripts in the system at the time of drop off. If were to be a life and death situation, you would pass away waiting for them. Again AVOID this pharmacy at all costs.
I want to give 0 star because pharmacy service is very very very poor. I call for my prescription they said it will ready in 15 minutes i go there next day and it was not ready and ask for more 30 minutes wait i never go back there and never recommend to anyone.
It is rather unfortunate that staff at this pharmacy are not customer friendly. I believe everyone that goes to the pharmacy has a need to do so, otherwise we will not be there to hangout. I visited this place on a Saturday from the urgent care which is very close by. There was a line with about 7 people ahead of me and it took me about 45 minutes to make it to the top. While I was at the urgent care, the physician sent prescription for antibiotics she wanted me to start right away. However, I was told my prescription was not received, right away I call the urgent care and it was resent, and they never received it the second time also, then it was sent again the 3rd and 4th time, but pharmacy kept on telling it was never received. At this point I was literally in tears because I was in pain, the doctor could read out to me all the times sent. At this point I was just going to go back to the urgent care to pick up a paper prescription, from urgent care that was already closed, but thankfully the physician stayed in contact with me to ensure I get medications. Jut before leaving to drive back to urgent care I asked to speak with the supervisor, a female in white scrub jacket approached me acting very busy, after I explained my situation, she looked thru their system again and found all the prescriptions that were sent. You would think someone will even say “ I apologize “. No way.... these people need to understand what Patient-Centered Care is.
Don’t get your medications filled here if you need them ASAP. Waited 3 hours for my pain medications. Young lady on register was kind and did her best but the staff packing this stuff sucks.
Always an unreasonably long wait in line. A doctor can call in a Rx days before it’s ready at this location. There is at least a 20-30 minute wait in line every time I come to the pharmacy, day or night, weekday or weekend, and you’re lucky if you walk out the store with your medicine the first go-around. Don’t bother calling to check the status, last call I made I was on hold for 22 minutes. We are changing pharmacies.
I have been coming here for a couple years to get my prescriptions filled. Their customer service skills just keep going down and down and down. This is the last straw. I am so sick and tired of them never answering their phones and taking DAYS, yes days, to fill prescriptions. I am beyond fed up with this location. The front cashiers have always been nice and helpful but all of the pharmacists and pharmacy helpers are just so rude, selfish, and could care less about helping you in a timely manner. I do NOT recommend spending your money here.
Repetitious process and questions. Very unskilled staffs. I.E the Caribbean lady ii spoke with on two different occasions- today 06/01/2020 shouldnt be working the phone. Very uncourteous and rude! Slow and impatient staffs that spends average of 20 mins on a repetitious call for same prescription order yet to be delivered after 6 calls in 6 days! I will be transferring my med to Walgreen!
This used to be a great pharmacy way o deal with but about 3 months ago something changed. Calls go unanswered, auto refill doesn’t auto anything, and they never have a prescription when they say they will.
Absolutely the worse pharmacy in the area .. Open 24hrs always behind never answering the phone. Waited 4 days for medication that was in the store.. Waited 40 min for drive through. Told medication still not ready and drive back around and wait. 1hr later still no meds had to stand in line and demand my medication and asked to speak with manager.. Nobody would assist but instead giggled to each other and avoided all contact.. Avoid this place at all cost
Over worked and understaffed, this pharmacy considers customer service to be a joke. I have waited 48 hours for a script to get filled only to find out that they hadn’t even started on it. Constantly blotching my insurance info, and other technical details, that have lead to me having to pay full price. This is far and away the most incompetent pharmacy you will ever go to. Do yourself a favor, go anywhere but this CVS.
My doctor on telemedicine diagnose that I had a kidney stone it was after 9 at night in my regular pharmacy was closed. He sent three prescriptions to CVS in Laurel and I was in so much pain and was throwing up so I had to have my roommate go and get them for me. The doctor said they may not have the one prescription and it may have to be ordered. so she brought the two prescriptions home and I started taking them right away. Feeling better the next day but not much I got a message from CVS saying the other prescription had to be ordered. Now this was the middle of April and I know things are slow because of covid-19 but on May 15th I received a message saying that my order was ready to be picked up. Thank God I didnt have covid-19 because I probably would have died. At this time I passed a kidney stone and I do not need their prescription. I do not like this pharmacy. Never have and the only reason we went there was because of the late hour of the diagnosis. Anytime Im in the CVS just to look for other things not prescriptions there arelare out the door waiting for prescriptions. Dont know if they need more help or what. As I said Im glad I didnt have covid 19 or I wouldnt be able to make this review.
No one ever picks up the phone at the pharmacy.
If I could give zero stars I would. This store is extremely unstaffed. And the staff they have are rude. I have never in my life been so consistently treated poorly. I also have never waited so long to get a Rx. Their current MO is they text and say your Rx is ready, you get there and theres a line that take 35 + min to get to the front of. When you finally get to the front they say your Rx isnt ready. And you have to wait another 10 min. This poor staff is run ragged and frustrated costumers lash out at them. When its the fault of COMPANY that theyre slow. The company wont hire more staff. CVS should be ashamed of themself for how horribly they allow this store to run.
Worst pharmacy in thee entire universe. Would love to switch to Walgreens but unfortunately Walgreens doesn’t except my insurance. Too many bad experiences to list. I have had an issue with this pharmacy literally every single time I’ve gone. Service, customer relations, the wait, not having prescription - you name it, it will happen in some form or another. Never a smooth visit.
This place is a disaster. I can’t honestly think of one thing they do right. If you need a prescription, be prepared for several days worth of hassle and waiting over an hour just to talk to someone.
This a very busy pharmacy it is 24 hours if your looking for fast attention and consistency not the place. But it is 24 hours! So that is a plus when a child is sick at midnight. This the place to go. But if your looking for friendly personable service, go to a local pharmacy with normal hours.
The worst pharmacy ever. This store does not have the capacity to deliver quality service to its clients. Furthermore, the in- store experience is a crisis waiting to happen. Lines are extremely long, workers are extremely insensitive and moves with no sense of urgency. Totally a disorganized place. Lets not even mention calling there. No one ever answers the phone. The corporate office had to intervene and Liaison by speaking with the pharmacist,, because they would not answer the phone.
I havent been to the pharmacy so I cant speak on it, but I wouldnt base my entire review on just one service of the store anyway.I liked this branch of CVS. It was larger, cleaner, and had a much better variety of items than most Ive been in. The staff that I interacted with (it was 6:00 am) were courteous and very helpful, and the young man on the register even made me laugh, despite the fact that I wasnt feeling well.I dont know if Ill use the pharmacy, considering that Im perfectly happy where I go now. For other drug store needs though, I think Ill go the 3 or 4 minutes out of the way to go to this one.
Wow.... today I drop my 3 prescriptions off at CVS, about 3:40pm the young lady said it would be available at 5:30. I went to pick my prescriptions up at 6:00 pm the line had about 7 people waiting. I get to the counter my prescription wasn’t ready, the tech said he’d check, he came back and said it was being filled as we speak and step to the side. Waited for 5 minuets he come back with only 2 the 3rd prescription was not ready but I could wait while they fill it, you’ve had it for 3 hours already. I asked for it back the female pharmacist gave it back me like she could care less and with an attitude. This is the first pharmacy I’ve ever seen with about 15 people working during one shift and still can’t please there customers. The young man was very, very nice and tried so hard to please me and other customers. The female pharmacist has an attitude that needs addressing, some people think that they are irreplaceable, but there are lots of people who can replace her. The manager needs to address his employees. I will never return to this pharmacy again. Poor, poor customer service.
I honestly wish that I could rate this location a zero. I thought that I would benefit from this place being a 24 hour CVS with its pharmacy also being 24 hours. I was so wrong. I only visit this location for the pharmacy and when I tell you that it has become a place I loathe, I am not exaggerating. The wait time by phone, in-store in line, and even at the drive-thru are ridiculous. There is never an apology for the long wait times and never a real reason that the long wait times exist. There are at least 4 people working during the mid-day/evening rush and 3 in the morning. Not a single person ever says, we apologize for the long wait time and will be with you momentarily. The prescriptions are never completed on time. Just yesterday morning I requested that my monthly prescription be filled. Six hours...6 hours later I go to the pharmacy only to hear the associate say that it was still not ready. Again, this is a reoccurring prescription that I receive from the same store each month yet after 6 hours it still was not ready. The staff are young and not resourceful. Each question that is asked of them, they have to ask another associate for an answer. This takes time and is one huge indicator of the long wait times. In order to be efficient and effective you have to have a front line of folk who are knowledgeable, resourceful, and empowered to make decisions.
Worst service ever. Waited for over an hour on the phone and still no help. Pandemic or not they are consistently incompetent!
Every single CVS I’ve gone to within the past few months has been terrible. There is no reason why I’m waiting in line for over 30 minutes to pick up a prescription that has been ready from the day before. Inside the store the lines are from the back of the store to the front, the pharmacist is SLOW, the workers are SLOW and they all have attitudes. Even the drive thru line is at a standstill and everyone inside will ignore you sitting at the window. It doesn’t make sense that all of the stores in my area are failing like this.
