David provided exceptional customer service! We spent hours with him looking at appliances and never did we feel rushed or like we were burdening him. We were looking for a suite of kitchen appliances and he was able to help us put a matching set together in addition to providing details about the specs of each appliances. He is definitely very knowledgeable. He also made us aware of every discount and rebate available to our purchase. The other salesmen seemed nice but I definitely recommend speaking with David for you appliance shopping! And definitely go to this outlet store before buying from any other retailer. Other prices dont compare.

Sean was very helpful. He helped me figure out which of the fridges on the floor at Bray & Scarff outlet met my requirements. Once I decided which make and model I wanted he helped me identify fridges that were in other areas of the store. He was very patient and had a good sense of humor, too. I would be happy to work with him again.This is the fourth time I have gone shopping for kitchen appliances at Bray & Scarff because even though the appliances are not made locally, this is a local organization, so more of my money stays in my neighborhood than with a national chain. They also seem to feature GE appliances which are made in the US, keeping some of my money in my larger neighborhood. I have always been happy with my purchases and their delivery.

After looking at all the big box stores for months for a refrigerator, I went to Bray and Scarff. I was immediately greeted by Salesperson, David. He showed me my options because I needed a specific size. He allowed me to make my decision without any pressure. Upon purchasing my appliance, David explained the delivery process, removal of old refrigerator and my warranty options. I will definitely be back for all my future appliance needs.

She did promptly and gave me the info I was trying to get from the purchase store (unsuccessfully) and an earlier call to request help ( also unsuccessfully). Definitely recommend looking at the Bray and Scarff outlet store before making any large appliance purchase. David was excellent to work with - friendly, responsive, and followed up with any questions or concerns. He made sure our Speed Queen washer and dryer was delivered and working as soon as possible. Would certainly shop at the Laurel store again and am very happy with the performance and efficiency of the Speed Queens, which was purchased $400-$500 less than the retail cost per unit.

Do not buy the service plan. The service staff have not repaired my dishwasher, and they are rude and unprofessional. I have bought from Bray and Scarff for many years, and the sales staff are knowledgeable and helpful. No problems with the delivery and installation; they are timely and efficient. The repairman at my house did not even examine the machine, one person on the phone couldnt find my service contract, another one said I was overreacting when I asked for more information. Waste of time and money. If you buy from them, hire your own repair.

Here’s what I loved- the delivery team really worked hard to get my refrigerator into my house. They were polite and genial considering they got there close to 8pm at night. And although they didn’t rest for a second, it took them upwards of 45 minutes before they were done. I was incredibly remorse as I’d raced to the house to let them in. I was not contacted in the timeframe I requested in order to make the stop to get them a tip.Here’s what was not great- as is known with Bray and Scarff, you will pay way more for your appliance then if you purchased from a big box store like Lowe’s. We were in a pinch so we opted to pay more. What I didn’t realize was that I would not receive the exemplary service I am used to receiving when I purchase at those big box stores. If you remember the small appliance stores of the 80’s- far too expensive appliances, and a slightly greasy salesperson trying to persuade you to buy all the extras- that’s Bray and Scarff. They seem to use a very draconian business model. So I shouldn’t have been surprised when I was told I would not be given a timeframe for delivery. The timeframe became anything from 8 am to 8 at night. And I was not those poor over-worked guys’ last stop for the evening at 9pm. It became clear to me those two were overloaded and overbooked. I have no idea whether they are properly compensated. I paid $50 for delivery. I would have paid more and waited another few days for those guys to be paid more and for me to receive my fridge before the moon was high in the sky. I hope I am never similarly situated to have to buy from Bray and Scarff again.

We purchased a GE refrigerator in 2005/6 from Bray and Scarff. I called to schedule service and found out that they do not directly service appliances that are purchased from them after 10 years. Rather disappointing to learn of that when we needed to have our refrigerator serviced. I am not sure if other companies have similar policies but it pays to always read the fine print. Not sure if this has to do with OEM parts being available but they did schedule me with GE for service.

Like most of us, I was looking for a deal when I needed a new dishwasher. Having spent time in the big box stores looking for a dishwasher I grew frustrated. I went to the B&S outlet in Laurel and found everything that I needed and more. John D. went above and beyond and found us one that was perfect and within budget! We were so happy we also walked out with a Washer and Dryer. The big box stores didn’t have anything in stock and couldn’t promise a delivery date. 4 days later I had everything delivered and set up in the house.The delivery guys Shane and Enron were super! The went the extra mile and really took care in the delivery. My expectations were exceeded from the moment I walked in the store till delivery. I have friends that ordered stuff from the other Orange and Blue stores back in December and they still don’t have it delivered. Thanks John D for helping us out! If you ever need anything he’s the man to see!

3 weeks later, our refrigerator issue is still not fixed and, despite a service rep offering to help make sure I could get someone to arrive before 6 pm, I was again offered only an appointment with the same service tech who shows up after 6. Ive tried contacting anyone at Bray and Scarff who can help and have gotten nowhere beyond being offered an appointment in 10 days, which is crazy when we have no working refrigerator. Ive purchased several appliances from Bray and Scarff and will never do so again and will warn others not to as well.I’m so sorry to update this review but my experience with the service from this company has been the worst I’ve ever experienced. Our refrigerator is still broken over a month later and no one will take any responsibility. To add insult to injury, no matter what day I request service, I’m given a window from 2-6 and the repair person shows up between 6 and 7, when I’m doing bedtime for my young kids. I’ve begged the company to have someone show up earlier each of the 5 times they have come out in the past 3 months and yet, tonight I got a call at 6 that someone will be there soon. Never again will I use bray and scarff and I warn anyone else to go somewhere else.

We had spent 2 hours trying to find a washing machine that would fit in our laundry closet. The depth could be no more than 26 inches. 3 of us on separate computers struck out until my daughter found a Maytag that fit the dimensions. Being skeptical I tried confirming the depth. I had no luck until calling Bray and Scarff in Laurel. I spoke with Dave who was polite, knowledgeable, and very helpful. After explaining my dilemma, he said he would measure the washer and call me back. He called me back in 10 minutes and informed me the washer was what we were looking for. When we got there, he was again helpful, as well as his coworker. They took extra care to load it for us. What a great example of positive customer service.

After our 20 year old washer bit the dust, I was looking for a company that sells and installs the Speed Queen washer brand (this brand was recommended to us by our appliance repairman). After searching the internet and checking reviews, we purchased a Speed Queen washer online from Bray & Scarff. Their website made it so easy! The same day, we received a call from Ali who scheduled the delivery date. The day before the delivery was scheduled, we received a text, phone call and email with a delivery window and confirmation. The next day, Danillo called to let us know he was 20 minutes away (the very beginning of the delivery window!). Danillo and his assistant showed up promptly, didnt waste any time, had the old washer out and the new one hooked up in no time! They did an awesome job and we couldnt be happier! Had to replace my refrigerator in an emergency. Bart & Scarff recommended their outlet store since virtually no one had a unit I wanted. Jay WhetStone at the outlet store received my call. He was very helpful. Answered all my questions and found a suitable unit in stock, arranged ro reverse the hinges, and arranged the fastest shipping they could provide. My washer/dryer stopped working this week; and searching for new appliances during the pandemic has been discouraging to say the least. I stopped into Bray & Scarff on a whim after several failed searches at Lowes, Home Depot, Best Buy and Sears. B & S miraculously had a few models in stock that fit my selection needs. This is an outlet center; not a show room. The warehouse is very organized and it was easy to compare the models on the floor. My sales rep, Dave was particularly helpful. He talked me through the particulars of both options I was considering; and was able to offer great pricing. The one thing I wasn’t expecting is the $50 delivery fee. Most places have up front free delivery, but B & S offers a rebate instead. I thought this was odd; but not a deal breaker. Before stopping into B&S I had all but resigned to the idea that I may be waiting several months to get a replacement. delivery, installation and removal of my old washer and dryer. I will definitely use them as a resource the next time in the market for appliances!

AWFUL BUSINESS: I’ve contacted Bray & Scarff appliance repair numerous times over the past five (5) months. I was instructed to supply photographs of the damaged appliance, and I did so in May. I’ve received no response. I continue to contact Bray & Scarff, but the only response I get is “(m)y manager will call you.” It’s been five (5) months. As of the date of this posting I’ve received no communications from Bray & Scarff. I will never do business with this organization again.

Excellent repair! The Service Technician Bashir Azizi did an excellent job and was very polite and professional while repairing our dryer. He even vacuumed the machine and surrounding area. He wore a mask the entire time he was in our home and was careful to touch only what he had to for the repair. He also explained what he was doing before he did it. Today we had a service call and the technician was OUTSTANDING. Edward Hinson is a most wonderful employee. When we explain the situation with the refrigerator, he knew exactly what the problem was and immediately went to work. He explained what was causing the problem and how he was going to fix it. When he moved the refrigerator, it was pretty dusty and dirty behind it and on his own he cleaned that all up...he did not have to do that. We watched Eddie work as he explained each step. Eddie also fixed a part on our dishwasher. Eddie has a most wonderful personality and is an asset to your organization. Typical of Bray & Scarf, great people both in your stores and servicing appliances. Kudos to Bray & Scarf for hiring the best people.

About six weeks ago we ordered a dishwasher from Bray and Scarff. Had it delivered on time. Wonderful. It never worked. Came for service, and had to order parts. Parts never showed up. We ordered another dishwasher from elsewhere. Bray and Scarff picked up the never working dishwasher a week ago. Still havent seen our refund. My husband called today- he always calls, and is promised a call back from Bray and Scarffwhich never ever comes. Today he was speaking with a person named John who is apparently the store manager. He offered to check with accounting and call back. My husband said that he has been promised calls back before and that it never happens. The STORE MANAGER then proceeded to interrupt my incredibly mild mannered husband and say IF YOU WANT TO COME DOWN HERE AND PUNCH ME IN THE FACE GO RIGHT AHEAD. My husband tried to diffuse the situation and was again interrupted and said I am managing five phone lines and he picked up this one and am taking the time to try and help you and I dont like being threatened. My husband again tried diffusing the situation and he was told he would receive a call back. When he did in fact receive a call back he was told that magically the refund had just been initiated. My husband tried to forge an opening for discussion with this incredibly inappropriate store manager by saying Listen, I meant no offense earlier and I hope that you didnt mean any offense either. The manager said Your situation is resolved and hung up. When you look for who to contact about customer service issues online you for SOME reason cannot find anyone. So here we are. Do NOT use Bray and Scarff..

From time of purchase to installation, the worst experience I have ever had in dealing with an appliance store. I had to ask for a receipt after my purchase three (3) times before it was finally emailed to me. I had to also ask three (3) times for the rebate form to be emailed. Things only got worst from there. The delivery truck driver ran over my lawn, destroying my driveway lights and in ground sprinkler head, not to mention the destruction to my lawn he caused. The installation was a night mare of an event. The driver of the truck also did the install and his attitude was awful. He was upset over my comments about the destruction he caused and was rude to my wife and I. He failed to properly install the wall unit and would not replace the side molding pieces, stating they did not fit. I installed them myself after he left. When I contacted the Annapolis store, they referred me to the delivery company they used, Pro Home Installs, advising they would have to fix the damage. Never received an apology or any other assistance. Later that night I tried to complete the rebate form I was sent only to be told my purchase did not qualify, even though the instructions on the form in addition to the sales person stating my purchase did. I would not recommend anyone doing business with this company. They should be responsible from point of purchase to installation, and they obviously do not care about you after they get your money.

When I remodeled my kitchen many years ago, I went to the Bray and Scarff Outlet Center in Laurel, MD looking for a new refrigerator and found one that fit perfectly in my new kitchen at a great price. When it stopped working recently, I went back to see what was available. I was impressed with John DAmicos knowledge and patience. He gave me information on various brands, options, colors and features, without any pressure. I ended up buying one on the floor, which wasnt the finish I wanted, but after John took the time to check the price of one in the color I wanted, I couldnt justify the extra cost. Now thats its in my kitchen, Im very happy with it. Once again, the perfect fit at the right price! Weve had an on going problem with a freezer door seal on our SubZero refrigerator. Hamid Sedeeghi, the service technician, replaced the seal but we still had the same problem. He recommended replacing the entire door and returned to perform the job which corrected our problem. He was very courteous and professional in his duties and we highly recommend his services.

My microwave died unexpectedly. I contacted the Laurel location. Spoke to a wonderful man who was extremely knowledgeable, courteous and within minutes, I purchased a new one that was on sale ! Terrell delivered and installed it today. He was AMAZING ! He installed it by himself in a very short time. He was careful to protect my stove. He cleaned up the work area, set the time on it, and even tested the microwave before he left. He was also knowledgeable, professional, courteous, and friendly. My kitchen re-modeler suggested we try the Bray and Scarff outlet because their prices were reasonable. When we went shopping on 11/29/2019 (Black Friday) we were quite pleased when we found a Bosch dishwasher there that we agreed to purchase. The salesman was very patient and seemed knowledgeable so we decided to purchase an oven and a microwave from him as well. We set up delivery 2 weeks before we wanted the appliances delivered on 12/31/2019. We decided to call 12/30/2019 the day before to get an idea of the delivery time. We were told between 2pm and 6pm the next day. Soon after we received a call telling us that our new oven was being held up by the manufacturer for a quality control issue. I heard my husband ask why we weren’t told of this before. Bray and scarf offered us a replacement oven that was inferior to the one we ordered but we’d have to pay a higher price because the prices had increased from the month before. We received another call from Bray and Scarff soon after letting us know they couldn’t find the dishwasher that we paid for and was physically in the store the day we were there. We were told the salesman who sold us the appliances was coming in on his day off to look for it. When they couldn’t find the dishwasher we were offered: 1. a replacement that was inferior to the one we ordered however Bray and Scarff neglected to tell us it was ADA complaint. This would not have fit the space we allotted for a normal size dishwasher. (my husband found this out when he went in to look at it) or 2. they would substitute a new dishwasher which was again inferior to the one we ordered at cost for which we would have to pay an additional $200.00 more than what we paid on 11/29/2019. I am quite surprised at the poor customer service in offering inferior replacements. I wrote 3 emails to: the company, the outlet manager and the salesman expressing my dissatisfaction with their customer service and have yet to receive a reply or apology. They weren’t too happy with us when we asked them to refund our money because what they were offering us was an unacceptable solution. At one point I asked my husband why they are being so unpleasant when it wasn’t our fault.” So now we are once again appliance shopping, missing out on Black Friday specials because Bray and Scarff failed to notify us that two of our appliances would not be delivered and are not providing acceptable solutions. When a company fails to provide, offering inferior replacements at higher prices is extremely poor customer service!Follow up on 1/22/20: I sent my email and contact info as requested the day after Bray & Scarffresponded to my review. Two weeks later and the company has not contacted me. At this point they have proved themselves to have no customer service and I really want nothing more to do with them.

Appliance purchases are a big deal. You dont want to make a mistake. I worked with David Bryan at the outlet center. He was wonderful. He listened to my needs and desires, and got me the best pricing available. Tatiana made the problems go away. I could not get copies of my warranty contracts from the underwriter, Centricity. After dealing for over an hour with a surly young man, I contacted Bray and Scarff customer service and Tatiana answered my call. She understood my concerns and worked to figure out a way to get me copies of the contracts. She was concerned that as a customer I was not happy. In a short time I had all the contract copies I needed. Could not have asked for better customer service. Tatiana is the consummate professional, with a good sense of humor. Thank you.

If you want a step up from the home centers, this is the place. Picked out a really nice walnut solid wood vanity and porcelin sink for my new bath, along with very elegant elongated bowl toilet.Wife loves the new look and I kept the cost down by doing the install myself. I hate cheap composite cabinets and this cabinet fits the bill perfectly. A real piece of art. The sink is too, just amazing and blends into the bath nicely. I got the faucets here too.The sales staff, very knowledgeable and friendly. If youre looking for nice quality then you find what youre looking for.

I was very impressed by not only the knowledge of the manager, John DAmico had about refrigerators, but also his patience with me in finding one that would suit our household. I had come in an hour before closing, and he kindly waited on me, answering questions and helping me weigh out the differences. When I was almost ready to making a decision, it was closing time and he allowed me enough time to make my choice. I would definitely recommend this store for anyone looking to find good appliances, with great deals.
