We are in desperate need of a washer and dryer had went to the store and there was no associates to be found there was also four other people there trying to purchase appliances as well the only person that could be seen was a cashier but there was a line so he couldnt ask them for help. Above All Else customer service is important as far as greeting before you enter into the building and having a person on duty in each section. Very disappointed at how things went at the store.

Edward from geek squad was fast, efficient, friendly, and extremely helpful.I break my phone a lot, like a lot.I have never had such a smooth painless experience ever!He quickly assisted other employees with additional things as asked, but never kept me waiting and my phone is perfect. Works better than it ever did with the previous repair!The entire thing was easy and it was solely due to Edward. He actually enjoys his job and it shows and is supported by his skill.

Called fifteen minutes ahead to check if this best buy had the new iPhone in stock. Associate picked up the call, and gleefully told us they do. Told the associate we were on our way, and confirmed with the associate that the store was open unit 9.We arrived at 7:55 to an associate blocking the entrance, asking what we were looking for. After driving 25 minutes, we were told the mobile guy is out and that wed have to come back tomorrow. They couldnt help us, couldnt sell us the phone to activate later, nothing. We were turned away at the door. Extremely frustrated at this location.

I didnt realize that Best Buy now closes at 8pm during the week and I came in at 7:30pm on a mission to try and source a dishwasher I wasnt able to source on Best Buy online. I think this store might be understaffed because I was looking around appliances for 20 minutes and was never greeted. I had to go back to the front of the store at the loss prevention desk to ask for assistance and was told it might be too late to receive help as the store was closing soon. Not a great way to correct the situation. Long story short the store wasnt able to do anything different then my online searches which concluded with your searched item should be back in stock soon with no information available about when.

Staff was knowledgeable about the products at the store. They were really helpful when signing up for credit. Purchased a new smart tv for my Mom and staff were able to answer her many questions. I would suggest that they have more cashiers in the TV section. We waited for 10 minutes before moving to the front cashier section.

I went there with friends to buy an adapter. They were waiting in line to make their purchase and since the line was taking long I decided to go look at the Samsung phones .I ve been thinking about getting a new phone. I wanted to see the Z fold and the S21 ultra because they seemed pretty cool but Ive only seen it online. I was checking the phones, the cameras and the different features when I felt like someone was watching me. As I lift my head, I realized that a police officer was looking at me the whole time like I was there to steal a phone that is attached to a stand. I stared long enough for him to get uncomfortable enough to leave. When my friend were done, he came again by the door as we were leaving. This was such an awful experience. Ive never been to this best buy and Im not sure if they get frequently robbed.... But I will never go there and spend a penny. Theyre getting 2 stars because my friend found what he was looking for.

I no longer enjoy my shopping experience at the Best Buy in Laurel. When you walk into the entrance is roped off. Then a random employee ask you for your reason for being there before they opening the rope. Why do you need to know my reason for being in store? Why do you think Im in the store. From here on out I will just shop Target Walmart or Amazon

Worst Best Buy staff I had encountered this visit and as a former BB employee, I know how customers should be treated. I wanted to purchase a 55 Samsung TV from BB today, but due to the unappealing demeanor of the staff member, I will purchase that same TV from other locations that are not a BB stores. Same TV is available in many other store names... and I guess that BB doesnt want my money being spent in their stores.

As usual, the unusual happened - I shut my laptop and Oh, no!. My earbud stopped my screen. Hesitantly, I opened the laptop, turned it on... And yes, the black screen of death appeared. Went to the Geeks! We both concluded my screen was fried. I needed a quick fix so a quick walk down computer lane. Five minutes later, I walked out with a new monitor and hopeful that my assignment could be completed on time.

An elderly acquaintance of ours was the victim of an online scam, which ended up compromising her computer. Shes on a limited income and didnt have the resources for a new computer. We helped her find a refurbished computer online at Best Buy for just over $100. When she took the print-out with the computer info to the store to purchase it, she was upsold a brand new computer for $848. So, after being scammed online, she was the victim of a Best Buy scam to sell her far more computer than she needed for a price she couldnt afford. Despicable!

I am blown away by Best Buy’s slapshod delivery system. I ordered an expensive product which was supposedly dropped off at my door. My wife and I were both home, as well as our dog, and the driver never knocked or did anything to alert us that the package was delivered at the time.We received a message an hour later with a picture that it was delivered to our doorstep but it was too late. The package was gone and apparently stolen when we checked. Is this seriously your idea of exceptional customer service Best Buy? I would never ever have another product delivered from Best Buy.

My experience at Best Buy was a much different one since the pandemic started, one in store shopping is allowed but keep in mind that it is by appointment i.e. if youre buying a t.v. or laptop when you get to the store you have to check in and then sit down for a rep to come assist you. I waited about 5-7 mins and the young lady that helped me was very friendly. Good experience all the way around.

Terrible customer service! One of my worst shopping experiences ever. Went to turn in tv for recycling. Asked cashier if I could use cart and she said yes. As walking to door another worker said I couldnt but I was already to door. Worker came out to parking lot and pulled the cart away from me. I spoke to mgr and he took no action. Wrote Best Buy, providing names, and again no action. Replied to email but no action. I will never return to that store.

I went into the location after work on Tuesday wanting to buy a Oculus Quest 2 headset since the College Park site didnt have it and to support my local businesses in these tying times. After not getting greeted at the entrance I wandered around until I found the case area for the product. I looked around trying finding someone on the floor close by to get the key for the case and no one was around not even in computers. I waited about 5 minutes until I decided to try CS only no one was there. I went back to the case area and these two young ladies seemed to be heading back to the computer section and I gestured I needed help only to be ignored while helped they other guests who didnt wait as long as me. I decided to leave at this point and again not greeted only a glance to make sure I didnt steal anything.I ended up going to Target in Silver Spring where there was a actually employee to retrieve the cased product, I payed for it and was out in under 5 minutes. I will be very hard press to give this location my business again unless I was doing a pick up service as the in site team needs improvement.

I saw on the website that Best buy has a recycling program and trade in... I stopped by to recycle some electronics and trade in a tablet. The people stopped me at the door stating that this location does not accept recycling electronics, and they dont have their state of MD license to trade in items. no big deal, I tossed the electronics in the trash bin out front and traded in my tablet with Target. All I wasted was my time and gas money getting there.

This is the best Best Buy store experience ever, even in the COVID-19 restrictions! Store Manager Annabelle Braunreiter was at the door, greeting and directing customers at the front door. Her staff, especially tech Edward, are able to multi-task and can assist other customers while you are reading and signing forms. My appointment went smoothly and did not take long. On a scale of 10, I give this a 20!

Had the best service THANKS TO MR. DEVIN!!! Two other associates just brushed us off when we asked for help. Mr. Devin, he was amazing. He spent 30 mins with us and explained all the specifics of the items we were purchasing. He went above and beyond to help us locate an item which they had only one. He didn’t not give up till he found the item for us. Others would have said: sorry, can’t locate the item that is in the inventory but we are grateful for Mr. Devin. Excellent service, kind, respectful and super helpful. We need more people like Mr. Devin in the world to make it a better place. Thanks to the store Manager as well Mr. Samuel.

I visited this store Thanksgiving night to pick up a iPad and a case. The people working the pick up desk were amazing. They had my ipad at but could not find the case. Curly who was helping me said not to worry. Then she called in help and sent a whole team of four people to drop what they were doing and find my case. Then she apologize for the wait then offers a free soda or water and a candy cane. Super nice. 1 min later I had my case. Awesome customer service on a very hectic day.

Buyer Beware DO NOT buy home theatre or TV from them. We bought a Sony TV 6 months ago thats already gone out. They made us wait 5 days for Geek Squad to come out, when they couldnt fix it, the referred us directly to Sony and we have to wait another week to get the parts and repair. We told them there are several bad reviews on the model they sold us, They didnt listen and totally ignored us.They will not let us return the tv even though we bought it from them and they sold us a lemon. We are really good customers but they just lost us. Terrible customer service I was told youre lucky you have extended warranty or youd have to buy another tv? What? It had a warranty and we bought the extended warranty. Yeah, were real lucky. Wow, terrible customer service.

This Best Buy in Laurel, MD is awful. I was looking for headphones and cameras. The shelves are half empty and unorganized. The 2 employees I interacted with were unfriendly. And there is a fairly rude greeter and police officer that stop you before you enter. One item I needed was listed as in stock online, but I couldnt find it in the store.

The guy at the front door was super rude. Best Buy should not be asking their customers exactly why you want to enter their store. He also told me exactly where the computer monitors were located just to only have 4 in stock. He also we told me where power strips were located only to find a wider selection in the back. Yesterday I went to Best buy store in Laurel MD. Upon my arrival I was greeted by a men who insisted on me telling him what I was buying. before I could enter the store. Once I told him thats when he let me in the store. I wanted to buy AirPods and the apple watch for my husband. I asked the two salesmen about the products but they both act not interested in sale me these products. I walked around the store for 20 minutes and no staff greeted me. I went back to the two salesmen to ask a question on where to find another product and one of them just pointed in the direction on where to find it. I reply to him by saying yall just not selling anything today? No reliance was given. On this visit, I purchased an airpod pro case. The cashier was even rude. I had to inquire about a bag for my purchase. IM VERY BIG ON CUSTOMER SERVICES.

Store is stocked well and has friendly staff. Checkout is smooth with a small wait due to virus distancing. Isles are clean and free of clutter. Product is laid out smartly, and easy to find. Plenty of parking including handicap. Store does feature curb side pickup.

Store has recently completed renovations and it looks amazing. It’s about half the size it once was. Yet very clean, spacious, organized, modern, and easy to navigate. Would highly recommend the location in Laurel. The one downside is I’ve notice for some time they don’t stock as much as other locations such as the nearest store located in College Park about 5-8 miles away. Still, the Best Buy in Laurel is a great store with friendly employees.

Ive been to this location a few Ive been to this location a few times, everyone is helpful and willing to point you in the right direction as long as its not there own, usually they have a wide variety of products but there guest services need work Ive been here to trade in on 4 seperate occasion and be help because it seems that only one or two people in this huge store are trained for it so I either wait 3+ hours for the next person shift or Im SOL great job.also calling ahead doesnt matter apparently the calls are routed somewhere else other than that location so what information you gather will be wrong besides store hours
