There were so many people and few wasn’t willing to help. And here comes a charming lady named Brenda. She was the best help I could have got. She didn’t hesitate showing where it was. She definitely needs a raise. Hope this get voice to manager.
Oh my The Home Depot in Capital Heights has its share of unhelpful personnel but one of the ladies at the customer service desk was extremely helpful. I wish I had gotten her name. Thank you so much for your help and pleasant attitude while helping. Im not happy with the order pickup people but the customer service lady more than made up for them. They suck!
Mr. CC was the best. I went to get a part to fix water leakage in my car, come to find out I had the perfect Depot worker helping me. The highly important information and knowledge he shared with me was needed. Even came to my car to ensure 8 was getting correct part.
It’s alright. Customer service can be a pain depending on who you are dealing with, and certain inventory items are in rougher shape than they should be. I got blinds from here for a good price and a number of household items, will return.
They don’t accept Apple Pay which is really inconvenient when you forget your cards or cash 🤷♂️
Dont come here if you need a key made. The automatic machine was broke and they were out of two different blanks at the other machines. Also couldnt find fairly common npt valve fittings, their employee directed me to ace
A good variety of supplies in a reasonably clean and organized store. However, many items were misplaced in bins, and both of their lumber saws had been out-of-service for over two weeks at my last visit.
Its a basic home depot. Nothing special. Employees are very nice tho
Can I give less than 1 star? This Home Depot should be avoided . I just had the worst shopping experience ever. Do not I repeat DO NOT shop at this Home Depot in Laurel Maryland. The computer did not work while I was in the store So I called the Corporate office to see if i could complete the transaction and when I called back to the store to explain what the corporate office asked me to do, the Cashier I spoke to on the phone was nasty and rude, She was very short with me kept cutting me off each time I tried to speak. She could have cared less about what i was saying. She have two different conversations going at the same. Home Depot standards are dwindling. I will take my business to Lowes from now on. THE WORST!!!!!!!
It was seamless up until the curbside service. The cut off is 6 pm. That would have been good to know before I placed the order. I found out when I received my text that the order was ready at 6:40 pm. Luckily I was assisted with the pick up but I still had to park and go inside. The attendant was very helpful.
Visited HD in Laural, MD soon store was opened today. Went straight to Aisel and bay, asked for assistance after failing to find item but lady couldnt find items which we mentioned as available on website. I showed her same info but she repeated that they are sold and went away. I started looking for items myself and after some digging found them there. I showed them to her expressionless face. Also bay was a mess and needed proper attention. Only one register was open for payment despite there were few customers waiting. My impression is staff were doing their job like they hate it.
Store is well stocked with landscaping items for the spring & summer to do list. There veterans that work there are extremely helpful with projects. You will be able to tell a difference in customer service of veteran employees, there willingness to help & explain products versus the regular staff unavailable or not interested. There are people that stand near corner stores looking for work. Thursday to Saturday parking is difficult because of the Amish market crowds starting at 8 am.
Didn’t find what I was looking for but the store was simply organized. Staff was great.
I like the well stocked garden department. They always seem to have plants that are interesting and keep me coming back year after year to improve my garden. The staff at this location seem friendlier than the other locations that Ive been to.
I come to buy one thing and leave with 300 things. Good prices, good quality, and just a fun store to shop in if you are a DIYer
Always great I am a big diy guy and home Depot is my playground
Worst HD Ive ever been to, and that includes the one in Brockton MA. Weird layout, prices missing, employees cant help, stuff out of stock, a lot of stuff not carried at all. But, its there and if you need something basic, its fine.
Helpful staff. Needed 40 pieces of tile. Online said they had 60. Actually only had 40, which worked for me but could have been a problem. Tried to call to confirm but could not get connected to flooring. So I took my chances and drove the hour. Thankfully what I needed was there.
Returned an online order. Transaction was done in less than 2 minutes. Excellent service.
My fav store for home improvements. Staff and very friendly and helpful.
I just wanted to give a shout-out to Dean who was extremely pleasant and helpful, loading 30 bags of mulch into our car so quickly! It was a huge help. Thank you, Dean!
Lots of variety.I am Love n it.
This is a perfectly good Home Depot. Maybe a little on the small side. Employees were knowledgeable and helpful.
Great customer service, but this store is very limited at the lumber department, at least the few times that I need something they were out of stock for weeks. I have to go to somewhere also. It was quite a few times, that’s why I am putting this comment. Every single employee seems to be working happy here. There is one in special, (Shirley) wow this lady is the most happiest, polite and helpful person that I ever seeing at any store. She is very professional and has a lot of knowledge. Thanks,
Parking was an issue because the lot is quite small; but once inside, the store is decently stocked. I was disappointed with the orderliness of the aisles and their care for the indoor plants, however. Im a big fan of The Home Depot, but this one is lacking.
Every Home Depot Ive been to has good customer service except for this one. I waited for a toolbox in the Pro section for 45 minutes. No one knew where the person who worked in the Pro section was. I left without the toolbox. I went to the Snowden River Parkway Home Depot and I was in and out with the toolbox in less than 10 minutes.
Not sure what is going on in this store. Its been 20 minutes since I called and have been waiting to find out the status of my order. Ive now been put on hold by the 5th person who told me that the reason that no one picked up the phone when I was transferred 3 times was that no one was in the department. After 30 minutes I was told that an email would be sent to someone in the department to call me when they return from lunch. I continue to wait, meanwhile being thankful that I do have options which I may very well use.
Generally one of my favorite home Depot. I found the bug spray and soil l needed. Service varies depending on who you get. Generally good though. Disability carts usually broken.
A great place for home improvements
We found a very nice and very helpful assistant at checkout so that was a plus. Thank you, Dymond! She made my rating 3 stars, otherwise it would only be 1 or 2. Unfortunately our experience in the garden center was not good. I was looking for flower pots... the selection was poor, a lot of clay pots were broken and covered in bird droppings... the place was filthy and price tags were wrong or missing. Some work to do there, Home Depot!
I never write a review, but I need to vent. This store has very nice employees when you are purchasing, but are Awful when help is needed. I made a very large appliance purchase and was waiting 30 days for delivery. When I received notice of my order coming I was excited only to have that joy stolen from awful delivery service which made me return the items. I paid cash and was told that my refund needed to be mailed because of the size of the check ...it has been some time and I still have not received my refund and no one can provide clear answers as to where when it will be returned...
Nice place, plus i usually find the things i need. Good location too and a helpful staff.
Isles forever incompletely stocked. Very little sectional customer support.
Quirky location to get to, but a good Home Depot regardless. Beware of rush hour times as you will wait through many traffic light cycles to enter the parking lot.
Ive visited a couple times and got everything i needed. I recently found the specific plumbing piece I need in no time! Staff are helpful in directing you to where to go.
Interesting merchandising & good deals. Nice, healthy Mothers Day plants out front.
Unlike Lowes, Home Depot is pretty consistent in terms of store quality from products to staffers.
I just bought 25 bags of 80 pound concrete and ask for some assistance helping load them but they never sent anyone. The second I turn around while starting to load the bags they send someone to help the crew of multiple men of non Hispanic origin. And the crew of just me and my dad that I wasn’t gonna let assist me load the 80 pound bags for the reason that he shouldn’t be lifting that kind of weight at his age. So I got left lifting over 1k pounds in bags onto my pickup.
Always great. Wonderful staff. Healthy plants.
People are nice, but literally every order made online be is missing items despite it being in stock, notifications, even calling Ng to validate the order is there.... Youre losing about quite a bit in sales to Lowes cuz if this...
They didn’t have the lumber in stock as it showed in their computer. The things in stock were other items close by. people pencil whipping rather than actually taking actual account. The workers attitudes were great though. Very helpful even if they didn’t have what I needed.
Service was good with Joe as he was very helpful. However, Home Depot put me in contact with their partner Dragon Scale. I booked an appt with Dragon Scale at10:30a this morning and theywere a no show. This is very bad Home Depot. Think twice with whom you would like to do a partnership with and with your name being attached. As of right now Dragon Scale is not representing your brand in a good way. Please fix this.
Fully stocked as is all home Depots are nation wide.😌
Will enforce mask mandate, but at the same time have employees in groups with their masks pushed below their mouths talking to people. Makes sense.
The place was extremely clean. The employees were very helpful.
Used the curbside pick-up on 3 separate occasions. All 3 times were a big let down.-1st time: they failed to tell me the cut off time so I had to wait to get my item until the next day2nd time: instead of bringing it curbside, they put my item inside of an outside locker (without telling me) so I sat in the car for way too long waiting for service.3rd time: No one ever came out with my order, at all. I called to the store and no answer. (I canceled this order)Ive used curbside at different stores like Lowes, Bed, Bath Beyond and others with great success. Home Depot clearly does NOT want to be doing it, and theyre customer service for this is awful.
Asked for a helper in the blinds section. Waited for about 10 to 15 minutes and no one showed up so I left. Person I did talk to was very nice and did call for someone to go to the inds aisle.
Smaller selection than some locations I have been to recently. Staff was very nice and helpful!
Easy in and. Not too busy.
I wish to thank Mr.Jay- Jay Thompson Manager for his timely and Excellent customer service and support for helping me promptly to replace a dysfunctional deep freezer, issuing me a refund, and compensating me for the food spoiled in the course.Keep it up!!👍God bless you, sir🙏
The employees of this store have a very poor work ethic, when you wait for over 20 min for someone to finally come help. While the person that I asked to help me was coloring with highlighters and continued to color afterwards. I thought I went to a home improvement store not a daycare.
The customer service is ok. If you can get someone to help. They act as if it is an inconvenience to help you. I thought it was their job to help customers.
I wanted to purchase salt, sand and a Humidifier for my mom yesterday at the HD in laurel.I completely understand HD being out of salt and sand, however instead of having the customer walk from one end to the other looking, just make a sign that reads out of salt and sand.I also found a limited selection in the far back corner of the store for humidifiers, but were on the highest self, impossible to reach. I looked all over the store for an HD employee to assist me with no luck. Not a very successful trip or good use of my time.
I wish the layout was easier to find things you need. Workers were alright but a bit dismissive. Lowe’s down the road was much more friendly and had more products in stock that I was looking for.
Excellent customer service. Assistant store manager; Darryl went above and beyond.
All flooring teams work around 6pm to 10 pm should be fired, they dont want to work and they neither they like to take customer, this location just loosed $7000 worth of work from me . went to silver bring flooring team they were nice, hey black kids dont judge people by there accent and clothing, you guys need to learn,
Found everything easily; everything was in stock that I had checked online for
Store employees are so helpful and efficient these days, that I was in and out in a flash. I needed one tiny electrical item. The employee looked it up on a device in his pocket, took me to the product, and I was right back on my way home. No need to dawdle in a retail store in these covid-19 times. Wonderful service.
This store is cool I guess
Tough customer service desk experience. I bought buy online pick up in store. I had two items in my order. When I came to pick it up only one of the two was available. I had to go into the aisles and get the other item myself. Then I had to get back in line to leave with my already purchased items. Waiting in line twice for items I already purchased is less than ideal. Even more so because I had to go find in the aisles what was supposed to be waiting for me at the customer service desk.
Found what I wanted fast and easy. In and out quickly. Polite and helpful staff. Laurel, MD store.
If you know what to get then HD can be a good experience. I was there recently trying to check out the backsplash tile variety. I needed some help. I asked the lady sitting at the table right there if she could answer some questions. She said she had to make a phone call. Long story short the lady never came around to help in spite of 2 requests. Then another 2 employees stopped by and said they worked in that department but knew absolutely nothing about the tiles.. Cant HD at least train their employees in the respective departments. I ended up going to another store. I decided I would spend my money where I got some answers.
Absolutely worst experience. This was my first time coming to Home Depot as I use Lowe’s often. It was closer to home so I decided to use them. I ordered a door and door knob and was called the next day informing they did not have any available in stock even not a big deal but I needed the order fairly soon so of course I ask the usual questions where will it be in stock and when. I also asked how long my refund would take so I can reorder this door. The lady was belligerent and argued with me telling me I had An attitude and I needed to tone it down. Not once did I raise my voice nor say anything other than the questions I had asked. I was mortified. She then proceeded to curse at me and yell. By far the worst experience I have ever had in customer service. I will not be returning. As for the store no issues but this women should not be allowed to work there if I was the boss and overheard she would have been fired that day. It was disrespectful.
Not crowded and great customer service!
The workers are very nice and friendly. They will ask the customers what they need / help.. some workers are professional, they will give the advice, and let you know more about the products that you are looking for...And store is clean and neat...😃😃
Very poor maintenance. Spent 20 minutes looking for a cart to carry my lumber. Very crowded parking lot it has most products any other home depot would have.
I love this store and i meet nice people there
Took some time to get assistance with custom blinds; quick cut and no other questions; blinds cut was off by 1/2 inch.. Missed it by that much..
Great found everything easy no problems at all
Large selection, helpful staff
I shop at Home Depot several times a week. I like the store layout and I find things I want. Also over the years Home Depot stands by their customers. Very satisfied customer. Thanks
Awesome staff.. My Fiance and I were looking for a propane tank. We stopped off at customer service to ask a general question. The customer service clerk was clearly busy and we didnt want to take up too much of her time. When I said excuse me, she stopped and gave us a nice welcome smile. we asked her the question, she said You can pay for the tank right here. She rang my Fiance and up and wished us a good day with an awesome smile.. A+++ customer service.. Thank you for a great experience..
If you are in the need to buy any type of electronic please stay away from Home depot they buy defected things and sell to customers and things that are supposed to last for 3 years plus last only 1 year and when you go through their warranty to get our electric equipment fix they will tell you need to pay $25 at first and then they ship your item out specially Lawnmowers and when you do they will tell you a made up story about something was not maintained right when you know you did everything correct and say that you need to pay an extra $75 to correct your issue... And then you say okay its okay I guess and you get home try to make your lawnmower work and again you did everything right and the same issue happens again on the first time seems like they dressed it up right and did no work.. Home depot is good for material only for now, theyve gone downhill.. And if I am not the first person to say this I know more have..
They had what I needed easy to find shelves for fully stocked in and out
Great Store. Walked in and got a Christmas Tree for a good Price.
Great place!
Spoke with 4 different people before I was finally able to find my item. One of the people advised me to walk until I see orange..... REALLY
Darryl was so helpful and provided great customer service! He was able to find the absolute last freezer in the entire store and helped move it along with Rusty and securely tie it down in our truck. We will definitely return !
Love the hospitality, very nice place to shop..I highly recommend it
A long terrible experience with the purchse of diswasher. The sale assciate told me to disconncect my old diswasher myself or hire a plumber to disconnect my old diswasher while I was paying was the installation fee and not only that, he told me to disconnect every appliance in my house. I took the purchase to find the truth, I came back to get my refund but got the problem straight out.I waited for two and half months for the machine to arrive. The delivery guys could barely place the machine in its place. After they got the machine in, he told me my circuit was not working. After he left, I checked my circuit, everything was working fine then I found a powercord laid on the countertop. He did not connect the powercord. I called Home Depot, they scheduled other technicians over a week later to connect the powercord. This technicians were also in experienced, they did such a sloppy job leaving insolation and metal nail holders sticking out over with no purpose to scratch the machine. After finished connecting the powercord, they told me the machine was defective. I called Home Depot and connected with Samsung to have a technician over to assess the defective machine. He found there was no power in my electrical outlet but the garbage disposal was on and working.I had the electrician over to troubleshoot the problem, he found the diswasher connected and wired to the garbage disposal. We had to keep the garbage disposal switch on to have the diswasher turn on. We had to unplug the garbage disposal to run the diswasher. There was nothing wrong with my electrical outlet or the diswasher. The inexperienced, lack of skills, and lack of trainings technicians had made all this mess for me. I asked Home Depot to refund me for hired electrician, they refunded me the installation fee. I should have Home Depot reconnect the powercord since their technicians had messed it up, but I realized they didnt have skillful workers to do the work.Looking back, I should not purchase the diswasher after dealing with the ridiculous customer service who went on to give me false information. I took the installation refund and considered the rest as lost.
I went after work thinking it would be a quick in and out. Nope. I waited over 20 minutes to get a key made. Wait so long that a woman saw me waiting and she made my keys for me. She was an employee from another Home Depot store and knew how to make keys. I dont like going there any more. But thanks to the woman that helped me.
Home depot is a franchise home improvement store and they have good quality items to assist any DIYer. I shop there for a few things seeing that they are only a few feet away from other cheaper none franchise stores.
They should be taking temperatures because this white lady was coughing in from of my 9 month old baby while I was trying to look for Christmas trees. Of course I immediately moved him away from her. E And no my baby wasn’t alone, his dad was next to him looking for Christmas lights.
Solid home depot. Did not have any KN95 masks, but plenty of sanitizer and regular masks.
Download the app to find out where what youre looking for is stocked. I assumed the spray paint would work; I didnt know it had to be tested in the store first. Could use more staff.
The HR at Home Depot is extremely disrespectful I experienced a very unprofessional setting and I was shocked because the workers were so nice and helpful definitely just problems with management I recommend someone look into that.
Customer service in the window treatment department is horrible! I have been here 3 times in the past week to check on my order that I placed on July 4th. I tried calling several times and I am put on hold for over 20 minutes, so I decided to physically go into the store whenever I am in the area. But that isnt any better!! There is either no one there or there is only one person helping someone and they dont care who is waiting, they will act like they dont see you. And not to mention, most of their cashiers have no customer service skills. They dont greet you or even say thank you. I have yet to receive my order.
I ask a female African American staffer a question she didnt understand. She respond WHAT.she gave me directions where I could find what I was looking for..Otherwise, another employee walk pass and say good morning..that made my day
Compare this one to other Home Depot locations, this my least favorite.. not organized and hardly get help from the staff
Very helpful staff if you ask.
Understaffed. Waited a long time for assistance.
Ebbony was amazing. She is very friendly and very helpful.
The Home Depot in Laurel, MD, poor customer service. Dont waste your time and get frustrated by their associates with poor customer service!!!!
No one at all to be found for assistance in finding materials for project. And when I finally found help he didnt even know what crown moulding was. How do these people get hired to work at a bldg supply store and as usual havent a clue of materials being sold.
Customer service here is absolutely terrible. If youre trying to find anything that might be tucked away somewhere, good luck. If you ask any of the workers here for help, they just send you to someone else, who then sends you to someone else, and the trend continues. You will end up wandering aimlessly down various related isles, eyes peeled, until youre lucky enough to find what you need, or you give up and go somewhere else. They literally have a tool to scan an item and see if its in stock, or search for it and it will tell you what isle its in. Only Carl was willing to use it for some reason. Thank you, Carl, but only Carl.
