Made reservation week in advance for a truck, and received a conformation date. The day before we receive a call from them, No trucks are available this week. We have closed on our house and have to be out the next day! In addition we have moving help arranged, hotels and a hard arrival date to deal with as well. Too bad is basically their response. BE WARNED, there is no confirmed reservation, even though you are given one. Read the fine print. It means NOTHING.
My daughter and I rented a 10’Truck from this uHaul. The sales rep told me to fill to the gas tank to full before returning the vehicle, so I spent $56.34 filling up the vehicle gas tank to full. Later, my daughter told me that we were not liable to fill up the gas tank to full, because it only had 1/2 tank of gas in it when we rented it. I asked the manager to reimburse me for the $56.34 that I spent filling up the gas tank or to receive a credit towards my bill because the sales rep told me to fill up the gas from 1/2 full to full even though the gas tank was only about half full when we received it. Needless to say, the manger refused to reimburse me. They swindled me out of $56.34. I want to be reimbursed.
Very disappointed that you can’t do a one way trailer rental (at least the one I rented) and are forced to bring it back thus forcing you to have to pay for extra days that you don’t need. Due to circumstances out of our control I was going to be late returning it so we called and let them know. They set it up for an extension for a couple of hours then proceeded to tell us we had to pay for yet another day because of it. That is very poor customer service. I paid over $300 for a 6 x 12’ open trailer with a ramp to move some stuff to Arizona because I had to return it to Nevada and ended up with a 5 day rental that should have only been 2 if I could have returned it in Arizona.

Great customer experience both times Ive been in the store. All the employees are super friendly/helpful.The only negative is theres a lot of vagrants around the fringes of the property. Lock your doors when outside your vehicle and arent within eyesight of it.
About to head out, but gotta review before I leave. Matthew had hands down BEST customer service Ive ever had at a uhaul. Showed me to set up the car as well as how to adjust the tension on the wheels over my long 18 hour drive. Feeling much safer with him and hia wisdom. Youre undervaluing him if you dont give him a promotion, or a raise at bare minimum seriously!Thank you!
I rented a storage unit at this location and someone broke into my unit and stole 2 big screen tv’s. I immediately reported it to management and have been given the run around. They have cameras at the location, they should investigate by looking at the cameras. They are so Unorganized at this place and it’s hard to get things resolved. I do not recommend renting a Storage unit at this facility.
While the manager has helped as much as possible (he leaves the company literally tomorrow, ironically), this place has no actual storage security. I just checked in on my indoor, double locked, small storage unit today & it was robbed. Locks still intact - they found access inside from outside regardless (I don’t want to say how, but it’s being blocked now - or I was filing to have them cover relocation to another company storage facility).My children’s items were trashed, boxes thrown around & my professional gear (flight helmet & headset) were stolen among some computer hard drives with baby photos backed up & soMe random camping gear.My insurance was maxed at $5k, which doesn’t cover the loss, nor having to freeze my credit accounts due to the computer backups stolen.Uhaul doesn’t have or offer supplemental coverage - so I cannot even accept a new position until I have to reorder & pay to replace my gear out of pocket now while waiting for the insurance to file, after the police reports & after the investigation.The official response was “uhaul has to only provide “reasonable security” - which doesn’t cover your actual storage areas. Anyone can be let in for access & it’s an “inconvenience” for them to review video footage from outside- after 8 days? Your items are NOT secure & will not be physically protected, FYI.I’ve had items in storage for 10 years around the US when working overseas; one stint was for 2 years without coming back to check on it - never had any issues, ever - anywhere - until now, here. I’ve only been back in Vegas temporarily for 6 weeks - robbed & out of my required gear for work.
Need a propane refill, and went here for the first time. Everyone was wonderful, friendly, helpful and accommodating. I appreciate them immensely. This is my new refill station!

This U-Haul location especially is outstanding. I need to move my stuff from Las Vegas to North Carolina which needless to say is not a cheap endeavor. Tammy went out of her way to meet my moving needs. After shopping around and receiving nothing but ridiculously high priced quotes, it was clear that U-Haul was the best option and even after that Tammy went above and beyond to offer me the most cost effective deal. Her customer service skills are unparalleled and to say that she should be employee of the month is would be an understatement. I myself work in the service industry and rarely do I come across such excellent customer service. U-Haul, but specifically Tammy has gained a lifelong customer and I will refer anyone and everyone to U-Haul and Most specifically Tammy for all and any of their moving needs. Thank you so much for turning my nightmare of a move into a stress free smooth operation.
These guys are the best. The dealer wanted to charge me $140 just to figure out what was wrong with my trailer hitch wiring. I figured it was just a fuse that needed to be replaced but after looking everywhere and not being able to fix it, I took it to Uhaul. 5 minutes later I was out the door with no charge. Thanks guys!

Waiting in line for 30 minutes without moving. All the employees are standing around, with only one person at the register. Another employee just walked in and said “it looks like you need help in here” she responded “ya if you want. Then he responded “nah I don’t get paid enough” and walked out.
They gave me a truck with a broken lock - thereby making it easy for someone to steal my life possessions. I had to get my own lock and then deal with the ridiculous service people who didn’t want to give me a discount on my purchase.Here is your 1 star. You’ve earned it.
If I could give no stars I would! This uhaul has extremely rude employees. And they allow you to wait in line 30 minutes and tell you at the desk there are no trucks, if you ask them to help you locate one they refuse. A suggestion from me is maybe when you have no trucks available you put a sign out in the extremely long line so we don’t waste 30 minutes of our life! Oh might I add there are about 15 trucks outside.

I rented a moving truck from this location and when I returned it I forgot an item in the U-Haul, I knew I left it in the U-Haul as I later reviewed photos showing that the item was in the truck. I called back the following Tuesday and the workers had me on hold for about half an hour when I just had a question regarding lost and found. They later told me that the item was not there and that if items are left for more than a couple days they just throw them away.
I have rented from this location server times over the years and have been treated professionally. The couple of times I was quoted other prices from U-Hauls corporate office and there were price discrepancies, the local team have always corrected them quickly and to my satisfaction. I would recommend this location and team.
This place is a joke. I took my van in to have a trailer hitch installed. With a different vehicle I brought my trailer and asked them to make sure the lights were working properly. After the hitch was installed I went home and tested the lights. They didnt work. I called to explain that the lights didnt work and they promised they would call me back before the end of the day. Of course they didnt call. I physically went back with my trailer, waited in line for another 30 minutes, and the rude lady behind the counter told me the lights worked fine when I left their facility. Basically shes calling me a liar. Do yourself a favor and go to ANY OTHER U-Haul except for this one.
Manager Anita and her staff have been cheerfully helpful with each visit I make. Ive been a customer and vendor both, bringing me to appreciate fluid operations and their commitment to meeting on demand moving and storage needs.
My unit was actually broken into and they dont know how long its been!!Gregory the asst mgr was amazing and very professional. However,I have left 5 messages for Anita, manager at N. Rancho and she is too busy to take any calls. The staff needs to be more professional when answering calls instead of acting like it is a hassle! Its been a week and still have no answers, my unit is trashed, nothing looks salvageable.
These folks treated us great at the end of a long move. Somehow the U-Haul system review went through wrong and I wanted to correct that here. Mike even made the effort to call me back after my rental was completed to make sure things were taken care of. I appreciate people who care about customers, and this place does that.
Waited in line for an hour and the person behind us asked the lady a question. She got someone else to help them take their reservation. Meanwhile the people who had not just walked in the door and had been waiting like your supposed to had to wait for an hour. Dont pick and chose the people you want to help. Horrible customer service. Then as we are leaving the lady that skipped us is out side talking crap about us. You need a coaching lesson. And to top it off the trailer we ordered wasnt what we ordered.
I just dont understand how are you going to charge so many fees like daily for the U-Haul truck Plus you must refill the truck to where was originally and heres the kicker $0.99 a mile! Are you serious 99 cents a mile for a piece of s*** truck that is built like a damn Honda? U-Haul moving company is out of line This is my first and last time ever I cant wait to see a better moving company hit the market because U-Haul will definitely be out of business.

Worst customer service, manager is rude and mouthy with her customers. Slow and uninformed employees. I regret dealing with this location and will be looking to move my belongings. People were leaving because service was so slow, when the manager was told she needed another person at the front to help the huge line (only 1 slow guy working) she got an attitude and was extremely rude. A few people asked for her name to make a complaint as well. Definitely avoid this place, especially if you value your time.
This store is poorly run and managed by Anita Bourgeois. My appointment was at 2 and I did not drive away until after 5:30. Initially when I checked in James,behind the counter, told it would take 30 minutes. Sounded good but I didnt believe that because when I made the appointment Anita told me about 90 minutes, so I was prepared for 2 hours. Around 3:30 they came and asked if I had the hitch key. So that tells me they hadnt even started on my car at that point. I had the key but at that point I thought if my car had been started somewhere near the appointment time and I didnt have the key at least I would not have been waiting 90 minutes only to have to reschedule.At around 5, I asked how much longer and was told about 30 minutes. Around 5:20 I asked a young black male how much longer. He said another 20-30 minutes. Are you freaking kidding me. I had somewhere to be at 7 oclock which I never imagined a 2 p.m. appointment would interfere with. Around 5:25 I saw my car on the monitor and went out and spoke to the installer, Jose, and asked how much longer. He was just finishing up. At that point I took my keys and left.This whole appointment stems from the fact that John Cherne from the Freemont location installed the hitch improperly the first time. Hes no longer at the Freemont location but if you recognize his name at another location dont let him anywhere near your vehicle! His employees, Anita and Jose all verbally admitted the hitch was installed incorrectly.Anita needs to work on her management skills because when I made this appointment I was offered the 12 p.m. time. Now her excuse was that client showed up late. If he showed up to the point that it made my appointment 90 minutes behind they should rescheduled his appointment. In the end my hitch reinstall is better. Is it perfect, nope. My main issue was the pedal striking the vehicle and that is still an issue. Visibly at least its straight, I guess!I definitely wish I had chosen a different installer and I will never patronize another U-Haul location for anything in the future.

Always have a storage locker available on first floor. In and out without any problems. Friendly, efficient, always a pleasure to do business with.
Reserved a Ubox from here. Thought it would be convenient and seamless, but I was wrong.Where do I start, well I requested a date to access my box to be able to load it for my upcoming move, I showed up and my box was not out and ready. When I asked the desk employees, they said it wasnt in the system that I requested that day. So I waited around for them to retrieve it, once they pulled the box out for me to load 30 minutes later, it was the wrong box. It was someone elses box. Fast forward an hour later and they finally put my box out, welp they of course lost the key to the lock. So they had to spend 20 minutes cutting the lock off my box. Finally, after all that I was over 3 hours into what was supposed to be an easy 15 minute load up. Before leaving I explained the next time I needed to access the box was May 24, the manager, Anita, was there imputing that into the system. I assumed I would be good to go and another mishap would be avoided. Wrong. Just received a call from Uhaul today, April 23, asking if I was accessing my box tomorrow (April 24th), I explained no, that its supposed to be scheduled for May 24th.Long story short is they seem to be very disorganized and its been a nightmare and hassle for me as a customer. Well see if come May 24th my box is ready to go. Ive been cool, relaxed and trying to be understanding about the entire thing, but this is rediculous. Save your time and sanity and use Pods or something.

There was no fuss Pat reserved the truck for us and after a reservation we only had to pay $1.50 extra for going over mileage. Everything was in stock and worked perfectly even the A/C in the truck.
First time I rented a trailer a few weeks ago went fine. Came back to rent the same trailer and had the misfortune of getting the general manager who was quite rude. She spent the first few minutes on the phone while people waited then proceeded to tell me that I needed to buy a different trailer hitch from them because the one I had all along was too skinny and said rudely that they shouldnt have rented to me the first time. Good to know because I have a $2300 truck rental and move coming and I had planned to use these uhaul idiots. Buh bye lol

Nice and clean parking area and interior. Customers returning vehicles were given no instruction on where to return vehicles which made getting out a bit of a nuisance.
I went into buy mattress bags, and they were very helpful and professional.I also used them in January when I moved, we rented a storage and truck. they were very professional and helpful. The storage areas were clean and they have carts to help you load up storage,
Completely unethical location! GM Anita B is a joke! She is unable to read their own computer system, tried to over charge me $81 for fuel and late charges, I did not owe. Lucky for me I took photos! She even called police and filed a false report rather than address the real issue!!

Very poor customer service by the general manager. Seems more interested in upselling items you dont need and gets rude when youre not interested. Saw her basically chase a customer off with her bad attitude after trying to make the woman buy insurance and a new trailer hitch that she did not need.
The facility was nice but I actually rented the truck from a different location they sent me to this location anyway the truck is now broken down on me and had lights that didnt work its run rough. And the truck is like 8 years old I realize that you get what you pay for and the price has been very good very competitive but seriously this is not been the best experience

Ive tried other locations but this one is the best and the one Ill stick to regardless of where Im moving to.
Dont go on the weekends thats when theyre extremely busy, but if you do be patient. It took me over an hour in line to rent a uhaul and then a couple more minutes to actually get it. But once I returned the truck on a Wednesday the place wasnt busy at all and all the employees were in a much better mood.

Took them over 1 hour to put a hitch attachment on my car. Then chains were not attached correctly. Got pulled over in AZ. The chains were sparking. Luckily, the officer just helped to correct the problem.
Although this location is extremely busy the staff do a good job of handling the crazaay day to day Uhaul chaos, lol. I reserved my truck online and was very well taken care of by Tammie, Anita and the rest of the crew. Any issues that did occur were quickly addressed and definitely handled to my complete satisfaction. I dont expect perfect service because I realize people are human and things rarely are pulled off without some sort of glitch, but as long as the guys and girls at Rancho continue to work hard to make my rental experience a success they will continue to have my business.

This U-Haul dealer seems to always have trucks available. Went to another rental location earlier and the lady was mean and didnt have a truck available... so off I went to this location, and had a whole lot of trucks to choose from!!!

This place charged me $40 three weeks later after I rented the truck claiming damages that I didnt do! Theyre scam artist dont go there! I used this truck to move a bed! Thats it!Later I visited the bank where the bank printed out proof that Uhaul changed me 300 dollars than 1600 dollars Than 68 dollars smh scam artist!

Thieves! I dropped my wallet in the truck and before i could cancel the cards there were charges on them. The girl in the front was very obnoxious and rude, so was the musty guy outside.
The staff at this location were very rude. Nobody on site was helpful. The staff needs to be retrained on how to use their dispatch software and more importantly customer service. I would choose another location.
