I am extremely happy with the service I received from Navis Pack & Ship. Mitchell worked with me to get the best price and packing method for my belongings as well as quickly answering all of my questions via email (which I really, really appreciate!). The delivery men were extremely friendly and professional, and took great care of my stuff. I will definitely use them again when I need a packing or shipping company. Thank you again!

I would recommend using a different company to ship you valuables. This company is not reliable and if something goes wrong (like with my order) they are rude and act like they dont care.

Soo Many items were missing. Someone took us to the bank. They gave me a price and stuck it to me again in the end. Said I had to consolidate my shipment via email after I left the US. Going back I would have done things differently. Been more prepared. You can’t waive diamonds in peoples face and not expect them to grab. No solid evidence it’s hard to point fingers. I just know that there was soo much missing. For instance, had a golf Hard shell travel carrier. Inside was an expensive golf bag and clubs. The clubs are here the bag is gone. This is just one of the many many things missing.Be cautious. Take inventory of Everything!!Trust nobody😥 I almost forgot about the kitchenware. 300.00 a pop Le Cruset pans gone. At least they left me one.

We work with Navis when we need it. The truth is that the service is very good. We work with Optical equipment that is very fragile and everything arrives in perfect condition. They are very responsible with the packaging process. It is our only option when we have to pick up equipment and we are not in a position to do it ourselves.

We just had Mike, Ruben and Paul hang another art piece. It was imported so they met it at the airport and took care of all of the customs issues before bringing it here and hanging it up perfectly. They are consummate professionals.

I shipped a bed, dresser and bed frame, told me it was going to be one price then came and picked it up and charged me more than what we agreed on without notice. Said it was going to be delivered the following Wednesday and it’s now Saturday and still have not received it and no one is answering the phone.

We moved from Menlo Park to Australia. It was the longest and smoothest move Ive ever had. Great job at both ends of the journey. Were even flexible about unloading as we were looking for a place.

Update: truck arrived at transit terminal on the day it was supposed to arrive here. The Subcontractor shippping company called me to arrange delivery. They asked if I had a way to get it off the truck.... me not having a fork lift said no. To which they replied it would be extra, or I could rent a truck with a lift and pick it up at the warehouse. I declined that offer since I was already into it for 2000 bucks. They contacted Navis, who paid the fee for a lift gate truck from the Sub. Bed has some split boards and wear from shipping. I built it from reclaimed wood so it’s salvageable.Final thoughts: if you plan to use this company, go with them to have your stuff weighed. There is no way this was 1200 pounds. A couple boxes actually had plastic toys and one even had pillows and that is it. We over estimated on the quote, and they took that as an open door to charge more my relative who shipped the stuff did not go to verify weight. Shipping company would not go to the scales with me without a fee for an extra stop. Also, don’t plan on any type of customer service for you over payment. I had to hold their hand through the process or it would have taken 3 times longer than they estimated rather than double. Glad it’s over. See below for detailed experience. They are getting the benefit of the doubt that my stuff will arrive intact. Otherwise zero stars.Strike one: I paid them on a Friday for the “high guesstimate on weight; on Wednesday I had to call them because no one had contacted the sender to arrange pickup.Strike two: they picked up on a Monday and said they would call me within 48 hrs with weight and arrange delivery... no call. I called them.Strike three: since the shipment weighed even more than their “hi-ball guess”, I had to authorize additional fee before shipping. The that was done on Wednesday. Still no phone call to arrange delivery...Why do I pay people to do their job for them? Can’t wait to get this stuff so I can edit this post with their actual star rating...

We worked with John and Joti to ship our daughter’s apartment’s worth of belongings for her sophomore year in college and then after her senior year when she graduated. It was everything from her furniture to kitchen glassware and small appliances to her framed artwork and clothing. Both times were flawless. Everything arrived perfectly packed, intact and on time. Service was outstanding. We highly recommend Navis to anyone who needs a complete and professional shipping solution.

APPALLING SERVICE! I am writing this on the morning that I was told I would receive my belongings and yet again, HAVE NOT. I am in the UK and was told that my shipment would take 6-8 weeks from Las Vegas. That was in July. The response has been awful. Trying to track where my things are is practically impossible. Whether or not they are hiring outside sources - and it is the fault of whoever they hired - NAVIS has to take responsibility as it was them who took the money - not a small amount of it either. I dread to think about the condition of my stuff when I finally receive it, IF I ever receive it, because quite frankly Im skeptical about whether I ever will. This is my life belongings not something I ordered on Amazon. These things cannot be replaced by any amount of money but should it come down to that I hope I will be compensated VERY generously. Not to mention, the extended period of time I have been waiting has cost me money in itself.Look elsewhere for your shipping needs.UPDATE: I received my shipment the day after this review and it is all in tact.

Where to start... Initially, Joti was rather terse/abrupt in his emails regarding his services. However, he was cheaper than the local competition, so I decided to go with him (despite a negative experience with Navis in CA months before). I turned down insurance for the shipment, which is always nerve-wracking (and despite how things ended, I still would have). And I will say that based on the Terms and Limits of Liability in the Navis invoice, they basically make it sound like: if you turn down insurance, youre on your own; once you pay them, they can stomp your shipment to pieces, lose it, or just never even ship it, and theres not a blessed thing you can do about it. Sound drastic? Im not done yet. I pay the invoice and anticipate a shipping confirmation. A good week goes by, as in 5-7 business days, and my shipment still hasnt been packed/sent out. Hmm. Okay, theyre probably really busy. In week two the order goes out. From there, less than pleasant, but I cant blame Navis, as at this point its the third-party freight/shipping company moving the pallet across the country to me. Skip the two week trip to me and the scheduling/delivery-turned-me-picking-up-from-the-warehouse madness and I finally get my pallet. Overall, the packing was good. However, the order in which the items went on the pallet concerned me a bit. Sensitive components and electronics were placed on the very bottom and then hundreds of pounds of other items were piled on top. Made me nervous about the condition of everything. With that, a brief tangent: one particular item was an extremely valuable and rare optical component that upon inspection was damaged internally. The big question is: did this happen before Navis took possession, or after? No way to know. Being a reasonable person, I did not hold Navis responsible for this $4k+ item turned paperweight. However, after completing my inventory of the shipment, I found that two items were missing altogether; as in: didnt even make it onto the pallet. Hmm. Okay. So I contact Navis. We go through the usual rigamarole figuring out what is missing and where it could be. Not a fun experience, but not unexpected. During the process, they ask me to prove the value of the items. I provide careful research documentation as to the value and then provide a reduced figure to allow for potential discrepancies, and really: as a show of good faith to them. Little did I know the figure was irrelevant. Apparently, if anything is damaged/missing, your damages/compensation (specifically, total disappearance compensation) is calculated based on the WEIGHT of your shipment; yeah, and at $0.20 per pound, cause that makes perfect sense. Now, where did this figure/concept come from? Dunno. It wasnt anywhere in the Terms and Limits of Liability from the signed invoice. In fact, the Terms (while disappointing compared to the $450 loss) clearly stated that the most I could receive for damage/loss is the lesser of: $50, the cost to repair, or the cost to replace. Obviously that means $50 is the most I can get. Um, nope; they use weight remember? So the compensation they offered me for my $450 loss (excluding the mysterious damage to the $4k item) is a whopping $12.00. Yeah, twelve bucks. Who wouldnt be insulted by that? I tell them I cant accept that, and that the Terms clearly say Im entitled to $50. Well, you cant argue with these folks, and trust me: I tried. So whats the big idea? Well, first, I didnt buy the insurance. Oh, you mean the insurance that would have cost more than my missing items? Well, shame on me. Second, they know you cant do a darn thing about it. Unless youre crazy. As in, pay more to sue them than you would receive from them in damages. But maybe Im that crazy. Crazy enough to think a business should be honest in its dealings. Crazy enough to think a business would stand behind its services and defend its customers. But, I just dont think Im crazy enough to ever work with Navis again. No, certainly not that crazy.

I hired them to send my belongings on a move to Hawaii. I had to wait 9 weeks for it to even be sent because they do not have their own shipping, they just hire other people. In this case the hired DHX but did not pay them. So my stuff sat in long beach until she paid her bill.
