My review was solicited by their email. My review only addresses the experience I had with respect to their on-line battery service since I have had no experience with their retail store. All of my dialog (phone and text) were with one person who was either at the store or away at the time of my communication. I dont not know the position of that person. I sent a battery in for their advertised replacement service with a quoted price of $640 with six weeks to complete. (I was latter told in my final conversation at week 7 that all estimates on their web site had been removed and they were not providing any estimates to anyone at any time.) I was told the entire amount of $640 had to be paid because of their need to order batteries and because of an unspecified number who sent their batteries in and never wanted them back at completion for which I have a speculative explanation. At 5 weeks I texted was told they were still 6 weeks to complete. At 6 weeks I texted and ask when I could expect to receive it. I was told it would likely ship the following week and would receive a shipping notification. At the end of the 7th week I texted and asked for an update. I was told that they had started on it but they could not and WOULD NOT provide an estimate. Since I was told they had started on it, I asked what their experience had been for completion. I was told that they didnt know; it had to be completed and tested. I pressed for some indication since I was told just 5 days earlier that it would ship this week and they should have an idea as to how long that process is after commencing work. I was told several time I had to have compassion. No explanation was offered as to why they would not give an estimate as they had just 5 days earlier. The only explanation I was offered other than the person I had been communicating with was getting 60-100 text, emails and calls every day and I was told again I had to have compassion and they were no longer providing any estimate as to completion prior to receiving units or any any time during the process to anyone. I was told I had to have compassion and wait or take a refund. I explained that I was only asking for an estimate since they said they were working now on it. I was abruptly then told they were unilaterally canceling the order, refunding my money and sending my unit back. In a text 30 minutes latter, I was told they had in fact never touched my unit which is not consistent with the statement 30 minutes earlier wherein they stated they had but would NOT provide an estimate on how long it would take to complete and test it. In addition, they then volunteered it might have taken one or multiple more weeks. While all my communications and inquiries were courteous and responded to quickly and I received a full refund 9 days latter, I was given inaccurate information at week 5, 6 and lied to at week 7 as to the status of my unit including that they HAD started working on it and 30 minutes latter being told they hadnt touched it. In my 50 years of corporate management experience, compassion and patience requires truth and explanation; I received neither. After waiting nearly 2 months, any customer is owed that much. I suspect (my opinion) that full payment in advance is reacquired because others never took their units back upon completion because they might have found as I did, that $150 more for a new unit is not worth the indefinite wait at this store. I can not believe that management is so unaware or of their process that at 7 weeks into the process and after being told next week and they had started on it, they are unable to provide accurate information and refuse to provide ANY subsequent estimates. I understand the difficulty that COVID has had to employers and the supply of parts but at no time during the 7 weeks, including at their cancellation of my order was I ever given any indication that my process was impacted by either...even after being told it was in being worked on.
Battery showed up today and couldnt be more happy!! The battery seems built very well and it fit perfectly in the bike. Communication was great as well. I would highly recommend EMP!!

Turns out these folks were the only people doing Li-Ion rebuilds during the COVID-19 pandemic. Good thing they are as decent as they were. Yes, it took 4 weeks, but they told me it would, and then when they got to it, it was done in 2 days, and shipped back to me. Great work and Im back on the road again! First rate!

I had my 48 volt, 15 Amp battery refreshed by EBike marketplace and I highly recommend the company. I ride a Catrike recumbent trike everyday averaging 50 miles per ride and the work that Ebikemarketplace did for me has been amazing. I average 17.5 mph on my fifty mile rides which includes riding up Snow Canyon in St George and I get three hours of battery life and fifty miles before I run out of battery support. I have another battery that does not come anywhere near the performance that Ebikemarketplace battery does. I am going to bring this battery to them so they can work their magic on it so I can get the same performance I am getting from the battery they refreshed.They are a great option for you when your battery losses its staying power. I am totally satisfied with the product they support. Dont hesitate to reach out to them because I know you will have a great experience.
