I didnt buy anything on my first trip because I was simply looking around waiting for my bus; best decision ever. This place has so many pieces and sets that can go with anything.Staff are super friendly and there is a lot of variety. Definitely encourage anyone who is interested in cosplay or stylized looks.Has a lot of aesthetically pleasing pieces that could be utilized regularly.

Looking for a masquerade mask or Halloween costume? Mask, outfit, accessories. You name it, they got it. Just about any price point.

The store had a wide array of costumes for any event. The selection was top notch and the prices are fair. If I need a costume for role play or cosplay then this is my spot.

I was looking for items to make my face look like a witch. One of the ladies there helped me with all the makeup and the latex nose and chin. She also helped me with a black hair wig. Sandra was a wonderful help and I suggest if you stop in and need help look her up.The store is so nice and has a lot to offer and I was surprised that the prices were very reasonable too.

They have the largest selection of costumes and accessories Ive seen in vegas. They are very good quality and even have a Jafar hat which is rare. They can be pricey on the more mundane stuff but if youre looking for something specific, youll probably find it here.

This is one of the largest costume and accessories place I have been too. They also have a very good selection of make-up and wigs too. The staff is great too. Definitely a great place to stop by and browse, you will find something you like, oh and they have plus sizes as well.

I am no makeup artist but have experience with theatrical makeup and knew I wanted to use Ben Nye. Star costume is one of the few places that sell it in the city and the associate Sarah helped me pick the right Ben Nye pallet for a simple glam monster look. Will definitely be coming back for all my spooky costume needs 🤪

I last minute needed a costume for Halloween, the day prior I had searched one of the generic Halloween stores, but they had a very limited selection which didnt come as a surprise due to it being the day before. I was impressed with the very large selection of costumes and accessories they had in stock for very reasonable prices. All of the staff was over the top helpful and knowledgeable. If you are looking for a costume for any event I strongly recommend you shop here first. You will not have to drive around town looking for different trinkets. 5 star service from beginning to end. I cant say enough about Bobs service. Top notch. Treated us like we were his most valuable customers in the world and it was our first time ever using this company. You would have thought we had rented thousand dollar outfits the way Bob took care of us. He spent over an hour making sure our tuxedos fit, hemmed them, then told us to keep them until Monday and he would pick them up at the hotel: For no extra charge. No one treats people like this anymore. Bob is a throw back to the days of superior customer service. Dont know what you want? It doesnt matter. Bob will pick you out a winner and it will fit.

Wow! What a relief- after braving it at the other shops in town (with not good experiences)—We finally found this costume shop. A great selection. Good layout. Really friendly and helpful staff. Clean facility. They had quite a selection of sizes and options. They had exactly what I had in mind in my size and I could try it on in a fitting room— trust me when I say this is not the case at the other shops in town!Very impressed and relieved! The pirate costume I got online for my wedding didn’t work out so I had to find one last minute and this place is FANTASTIC!!! Can’t stress it enough!

Impossible to leave this place without buying anything, it has the best costumes at the best price in town.

Going to star is always a great experience. Ive yet to have any bad customer service. They have an excellent selection of costumes and dance wear. Great for everything from Ren faire to putting on a great theatrical production. The prices are a little high but you get what you pay for.

I have been trying to make it to this store for a long time and I am kind of upset I am just now getting around to shopping here. This place is amazing! They have a large selection of costumes, wigs, masks (including masquerade), and my favorite FX makeup like latex and fake blood. Dont even speak of Spirit Halloween in this amazing place, they arent even the same level.

Great selection, employees super friendly and helpful. Even during this corona-nightmare madness the management was willing to assemble what I needed and meet me a half hour before they open so I could meet my deadline. Best costuming resource in Vegas!

I love this place and visit at least once every time Im in Vegas. They have both packaged costumes and theatrical quality. They have tons of accessories and the make up choices are incredible! Its the largest costume shop I have ever been in.

Can be a bit pricey but the best/biggest selection in all of Vegas for costuming. There’s a section for wigs, one for shoes, one for makeup and multiple isles from costume pieces to full costumes for rent. If you need something specific or ASAP I highly recommend Star!

Anyone who works in the entertainment industry knows this store, or, should know this store!Any kind of special effects makeup that exists is here. From props to costumes, to Hollywood-level waterproof camera makeup, to ballet or tap shoes..... this place has everything you need to work in entertainment.They even have exotic apparel!

Everytime I come here I’m hoping for semi better customer service.The counter girl is always rude, pushy, treats you like you can’t afford anything there. The people that work here act like they are doing a Huge service by even waiting On you. Unfortunately you are one the only stores that carries the products you have.

I havent been to many costume stores with a selection as extensive as Star Costume. Highly recommend if you are looking for something unusual or trying to obtain a costume at a time other than Halloween. Additionally, the staff offered to help several times during my visit and appear to be quite accommodating.

The staff was very helpful in guiding me to what I was looking for. I asked the lady working in the cosmetic part which fake blood is better, not only did she explain it, she also showed me what each looked like on her hand. Very helpful.

Probably one of the largest costume and make-up supply stores in Las Vegas. Very busy during Halloween, for obvious reasons. Their large selection of costumes and accessories can pretty much meet the needs for any local party! Make-up counter staff were pretty knowledgeable as well, and willing to help you find the right type of make-up.

Although this is not the largest costume shop I have ever seen, it is still pretty good size with different items pilled from the floor all the way up to the ceiling. One day when I have move time I would like to go in and look a little more. I have visited this place 1 time to buy some body paint to cover my whole body. I was sold a little jar for around $20 And it was more than enough for what I needed. In fact I still have it and can probaly cover my body once Or twice more with it. This place is great and very helpful.

We were in town from Canada looking for costumes. We went to other shops and this was by far the best. They had the best selection, ranging from costumes in a bag to amazing high end custom costumes. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Sandra, Shelley, Aiedee and the owner Mark went above and beyond to help us create some one off steampunk costumes and a classic wonder woman. The best experience I have ever had in a costume store by far!!!

Born and raised in Vegas and somehow had absolutely no clue this place existed. Had a pub crawl needing santa hats in the middle of July and they actually went to the back and found hats for me. Prices beyond reasonable and warehouse size level of selection. You will not leave dissapointed no matter what the occasion.

Store has great inventory and some nice costumes BUT PLEASE research, compare prices before purchasing here. I bought a snake charmer costume $76.00 and at walmart it was $35.00, same brand all accessories included.

Lots of things to choose from and look at. You can sample the makeup at the counter and ask questions about application. They have helpful, knowledgeable staff and a two story wall of wigs!

Costume selection is great. But weird policies about pricing of renting v. buying - you cant buy what youre renting. And there is zero flexibility.

The person I spoke to Bob was very VERY rude. He kept talking over me, not helpful and patronizing, when I suggested he shouldnt correct a customer ( over something silly, the correct color for a costume, who cares if its not accurate I just wanted to have fun with my friends money was no option ) and yeah totally rude and sorry I dont see the reason to be rude at 10am in the morning. Then I wanted to speak to the manager. I was told she Debra would be in at 11am. I called she still wasnt in then I called back at 12pm. She still was not in I then expressed how mistreated I felt as a customer who hasnt even set one foot in the door a new customer. Then the sales girl Idie got an attitude and hung up on me! No one tried to resolve the issue no one seemed to care!! Plus the clothes on the website look cheap and plastic. This place is the worst!

Bob is so helpful whenever I need to go pick up supplies! I am starting out as a self taught fx artist and overtime i go i have tons of questions on what to purchase for the currant monsters Im making and different application techniques. all of the staff is knowledgable in different areas so if one doesnt know the answer they have no problem grabbing another associate so YOU get the best information and product recommendation!

This was the first Halloween type store we visited in Vegas and we were happily surprised. They mainly have costumes, makeup and wigs, but also had a few anamatronic type items for my son who loves them and fun props with sounds for my youngest. The staff went out of their way to put batteries in the anamatronic prop reaper my son wanted, to make sure it worked. They were extremely patient with me and my two boys running around the shop (seven-year-old and four-year old). I saw several costumes I wanted to come back and try on without the boys that were beautifully detailed and that I have never come across before. I would refer others to this shop. I was pleasantly surprised, the kind service was the cherry on top for me.

I love this store, and as a film student makes it even better there is so much to choose from for any project, or occasion you could need. The staff is super helpful and can answer any questions you have
