I always like going to this store. Its open year round which is great. While they mostly have costumes they also have some awesome masks. The costumes are good quality and pro level masks like you see in a good haunted house. And lets not forget the adorable black cat thats there to greet you :) I just wish the store was bigger. The only downside is they close at 6pm.

Very sad that Gov Sisolaks Covid restrictions have caused this stores management to announce that theyre closing for good. The store had a great selection of costumes and novelties. And their cat was cool. Thanks Gov Sisolak and the CCP for destroying more lives.

Im a huge fan of Black Cat Costumes, Ive been going there every year for the last 3 Halloweens. They always have the greatest costumes.

This location is an empty building. Dunno if they moved but don’t waste your time.

Went there and looked around for Halloween costume stuff. I couldnt decide on anything, but it wasnt for lack of choices. They had plenty of fun stuff. I like that theyre open year round, so if I needed a costume in the middle of May or whatever, they would be my go-to place. Staff was friendly, especially the cat, who seems to be the real store owner. =^..^=

Only place to even consider for haunt/Halloween decor, costumes, horror movie memorabilia, props, masks, etc. You name it they have it. What more could you want? Keep it up black cat!

This place was great. Very nice quality products sold here. Now that I know this place exists I will come here for my Halloween needs instead of one of those pop up Halloween stores.

Have driven by Black Cat for years...dropped in for the first time just last week.Website was accurate as to pricing and product availability. Found what I was looking for at a reasonable price. Inventory is HUGE....browsed for nearly a half hour and that was just the front service counter. No shortage of friendly, knowledgeable staff either. Not one... but TWO loss-prevention security personnel. One offering a warm welcome at the door with the other working the shop floor. Both friendly and polite. All around a first-rate shopping experience.

I come here when I am shopping for specialized costume and more advanced theatrical makeup. The staff is polite and accommodating. The store is clean and well organized. They did not run out of things that I needed like some of the other stores do during the Halloween rush.

First time visit to get a costume for a fun run. Had been on the website a few times, as well.FANTASTIC and HUGE selection--every kind of costume and accessory you can think of, and then some. Super helpful people who really seemed to enjoy being there, immediate and personal service, and a (real!) gorgeous long-haired black cat to boot!I wish I needed a ton of costumes because this is the only place Id go and Ill absolutely be recommending them.Thanks for a great experience, guys!

This place is so awesome, went online saw a costume for the wife saw that it was in stock we ran down there and the girls/ladies are so helpful found the Harley Quinn costume quick as a whistle!!! If I could give them 10 🌟 I would.

I would’ve put 5 stars. The first time we went the guy was so nice and friendly and helpful. There’s a great selection.This last time we went there’s was this extreme rude skinny blonde. Apparently because we needed a bigger size than what they had we weren’t worthy of her time. I’m not really sure what her problem was but the other girl was friendly and started to answer questions. She went up front to find something out and we followed but slowly behind and we heard the other woman whining about our questions.I’m sorry I came to your store to purchase something. I could’ve easily ordered what we wanted online. And that’s what we will be doing. We just liked the guy so much last time we wanted to give them our business. Not so much anymore.Get rid of the snobby blonde. She kills the fun vibe!

My son is obsessed with anamatronics and they had several in a reasonable price range to satisfy his creepy hobby. He got the chain cage-white reaper. They also had a perfect light up wand for my mellow 4-year-old. An attractive husband and wife own the shop and were very professional. I read other reviews that said save your money, but I disagree. There is something reassuring about touching and trying an item out before buying it. Id rather make sure it works/is not damaged than order something online that I havent inspected myself. I would recommend this place to others. You get what you pay for and even more so, you get what you see.

Black Cat Costumes has been my go-to costume destination for years now. Whether Im needing something scary for Halloween, costumes and props for my theatrical endeavors, or even a rad horror-themed t shirt, this place has it all. The staff is all very friendly, and more than willing to help out in any way depending on what you might need. I also enjoy the layout of the store. The costumes are separated by age and gender, and everything is very easy to locate. If youre ever there, definitely check out the Prop Room in the back for a few grisly surprises. This store is great for all of your year-round costume and novelty needs. Rock on Black Cat!

This place is LEGIT. They have everything and anything you might possibly need for any costume you may have in mind. The staff is super friendly and really helpful, so imaginative and ready to help. Defiantly recommend this shop to anyone looking for a quality costume and a genuine experience. 🎃👻

I used to love this place, its the only year around halloween store but the stuff they have in stock is no different than the Spirit Halloween stores that are seasonal and you can find everything online for way cheaper from either place. The only thing they have to offer that is different is their mask shelf and some horror movie merchandise. The mask shelf has had various masks out of stock for weeks leading up to halloween and i was told they would not stock them for a few months AFTER halloween. When the one time of the year that people will really be coming in to shop and youre not going to have inventory stocked of your few quality items that other halloween stores dont actually offer? Seems like a silly business practice but to each their own i suppose.

I always like coming here! They sell just about everything costume related and I bought a neat looking wallet previously! My most recent visit was a Renaissance shirt I needed to buy for my best friends wedding and they had one in stock thankfully!

This costume store is awesome! My husband and I needed costumes for an Alice in Wonderland party and found exactly what we needed. The sales woman, Michelle, was fun,friendly, and very helpful. Truly first class ;)

Personally, I love this store. But I do not appreciate being stocked like a common thief. I understand you guys are a small business, and you need to protect yourselves. But I felt uncomfortable like my personal space was violated.

Visited 10/20/18 around 5:45pm - Great selection but I docked two star because of our checkout experience. There’s no line and the cashier was standing at the register (blonde lady) talking to a redhead (maybe?) employee. My husband and I are standing there with products in our hands, right in front of the counter, maybe two feet away from the cashier, and the two of them are just talking about other customers. This lasts approximately three whole minutes before redhead girl walks away just to turn around to the cashier to say, “Oh wait, can I have a piece of gum?” which prompts another short convo. After redhead girl walks away for good (and just stands in the middle of the store to text), the cashier looks at us and says, “Oh are you ready?”Just to be clear, she looked at us multiple times and we didn’t look like we were still shopping or anything. Sure, I could’ve interrupted and asked to be rung out. I work in customer service and this could’ve been avoided by just being a nicer human.I do love that it is family owned which is why I chose to come here in the first place but at the same time - do these criticisms really matter? The employees will get a pass. Everyone else in the store was wonderful and attentive though! And the cat is very cute. They have a large selection of everything with okay pricing. I would return but I do hope for better service next time.

Felt like I was rushed towards closing. Lady working there literally checked her watch and told me I was allowed to try on one costume. Then barked at my bf who was just trying to help me zip the dress because Icouldnt reach it and I didnt want anybody else looking at me half dressed. Cheap quality costumes that are way overpriced. Would not recommend nde. The only up side was the actual cat.

The store had a decent selection but the items were overpriced (I had been to many other stores/websites and found the same costumes for sometimes half the price). Then there was an all sales final policy which is always a red flag for me. But, if you waited to late/couldnt find your costume anywhere else then this would be the place to go.

So I found a great costume...but I asked if I can cheak the van to inflate before I buy it for $89. They said no. I get home and what do you know. IT DOESNT WORK. So I take it in and they put THEIR special batteries in and to no avail. Then proceed to tell me, pick something else because we dont do refunds! They sell devent stuff but will not help you out if its broken from there store! DO NOT RECOMMEND BUYING ANYTHING ELECTRIC FROM THE STORE. Other stuff seems legit.

Endless selections decent prices

Went here to buy costum. l already did business the prior week with them so l knew what to expect. over priced costums. l looked on there website to see what l would need and want before going in so l was ready, the price on the webiste was almost half the price as the store was.l bought an item a week prior for $80.00 and l love it, but when you go to there website and its half the price you start to hate it.l asked the manager to see if he would match the price that the website had it for and he told me no and the price is what the it is. If l wanted to order it online and pay shipping and pray l get it before hallowen than good luck and go ahead, thats what he told me.So l tryed that and saved $38.00 total with shipping and waiting time huh l got the costum 2 days later and a week before halloween. It goes to show just becuase someone wants to give you a attitude and that you have no choice doesnt mean you have no choices. do you home work and save the money.

They overprice the costumes and they always carry the same old inventory. They have a security posted by the door for the halloween season, who is rude and has an attitude.

My son bought a Spiderman costume ($65) and wore it the next day. When he zipped it up the zipper came off at the top. He called the store to see if they could exchange for another one and was told no. I called and spoke with Brian the manager. He refused to tell me his last name and hung up on me after telling me their policy is no returns or refunds. Crappy customer service.
