This store is the worst place for glasses.The exam and doctor were great and thorough, but the service, this past year to get my glasses, was the worst experience yet!I spent nearly a thousand dollars for this last pair of glasses, figuring high quality glasses should get exceptional service! Not the case here!Less than two weeks and I had to bring them back for scratches and smudges. They said the coating solution was bad, I accepted that response.When I got them back, after 2 weeks, they lasted another week and I was back again! Every month from then on for the rest of that year, I was back for the same reason, and their excuse was the same. At the end of the one year warranty, they replaced the frames and lenses, but wouldnt extend the warranty, and not 2 weeks later and Im still having the same problem!Dont waste your time with this store!I WILL NOT RECOMMEND THIS STORE TO ANYONE!!!!
It used to be good I was coming here all the time but my last visit I had to wait Almost 2 hours and nobody wanna help you when you go and talk to someone they say somebody will be there with you. Dont schedule 10 appointments within an hour if you cannot take care of them.
Worst ever. My new glasses spend more time in repair than on my face. When I call to check on status Im on hold 10 to 15 min. The store isnt that big! They can never locate them. They never call to update me. Dont go.
I had great experience at The Vision Centers today! I hadnt been to an eye doctor in a few years and figured it was about time. Every person I talked to was extremely helpful. Dr. Schneider was great through the whole exam process, as was Victor who helped me with many of the tests. In the end, I am satisfied by the outcome! They werent pushy about buying anything and explained all costs to be ahead of time to let me decide what worked best for me. I will definitely be coming back! Thank you!
I only got the exam with Dr. Schneider and she was amazing! I didn’t get lenses or frames because I buy mine online but the exam was great. She asked a lot of questions and answered all of mine knowledgeably. Good experience and pretty quick.
The staff at The Vision Centers is caring and welcoming. The Vision Centers team and family is the best! Hands down best eye doctor in town and would totally recommend.
These people are NOT thorough!!! There was lack of communication on their behalf and Now my Daughter has no glasses due to their lack of communication!!!! 2 insurances and You I was told that the glasses was on one insurance and contacts on another 😡😡
Do not put down any money for eyewear at this place as they are probably going out of business. They took my money and then gave me the run around for a month because they could not pay their bills and the manufacturer would not supply my glasses. To their credit, I did receive a refund.
Eye examination was great. Getting lenses is a HUGE hassle. I was told 7-10 business days for my glasses and it has now been a month and I still havent received them yet. I will be getting a full refund tomorrow. I have NEVER waited more than 10 business days ever in my 35 years of wearing glasses. This place is the worst. I highly recommend you go elsewhere if you dont want to wait a month or more for new lenses. They even admitted to me that it was ridiculous that I have to wait for such a long time and I paid upfront. Go somewhere else.
I moved to LV 6 weeks ago and was looking for new glasses. Because this place is around the corner of my house it seemed convenient. Great collection of frames, however... they ordered frames for me and would call me back if they came in. Never received a call. I called them several times and walked in but no frames. Last Monday I called them again and asked why they dont call me back (after 4 weeks) and that I have the feeling they dont want me as a customer. the lady promised me I would get a call from the lady that helped me. Its Wednesday now, still no call.
I really liked the eye doctor here, i was along with my sister to help pick out frames and the service seemed so great i scheduled myself right then and there. Id decided to get contacts. They told me it would take 1 week and they would call me, 1 week goes by, no call, 2 weeks go by no call, now my hours and schedule dont work well with theirs so its difficult for me. I called at 2 1/2 weeks and left a voicemail. NO CALL BACK. So i went in at 3 weeks because i needed my left eye looked at anyways, they gave me my boxes finally and re-did my prescription for my left eye and said theyd order me new lenses for that eye, and they would call when that box was in. I had 2 sets of lenses to get me through, which ended up being the wrong ones anyways. 2 weeks go by No Call, so i went in again, and theyd forgotten to place my order for my left eye, again say they will call me when the boxes come in, and this time gave me the right lenses to get me through. Now im at the end of a months time, and I call again, and finally its... oh yes we have them here but its a partial order, and i had to tell them, yes it is supposed to be just my left eye..... I really do not understand WHY dont I EVER get notified that they are there?? I would make time to go pick them up. Again I LOVED they Eye doctor, she was wonderful. The rest of my experience has been terrible. Lets hope my box of lenses is correct when i go to pick them up today.
Dr. Carmen Schneider was very helpful and patient with me and my son. Highly recommending her for everyone. Good costumer service. Best doctor so far in Las Vegas.
I would give no stars if I could! This place is in network with my insurance, brought in my own frames and they tried to charge me $400 out of pocket for just lenses! My last place is now out of network, but two new frames and thet sameslenses were only $90. So beware! Theyre ripping people off.
Best selection in town. Customer service is exceptional. They will adjust or repair your glasses for free.
Signed in to pick up glasses and waited for 25 minutes. No one acknowledged us... 4 of us waited. I noticed they started helping customers that came in after us! If I didnt speak up they wont have helped us at all...
I was new to Las Vegas and needed to get my contacts updated. I contacted The Vision Center and there staff was able to make me feel really comfortable. The Optometrist (Dr. Chirodo) was great very thorough, I even picked up a great pair of Calvin Klein Sunglasses. I recommend and will use again.
In only 12 but we have waited 4months for my glasses and we came today to get them cause they said they were ready but they just said tommorow:( DONT DO THERE ITS A WASTE OF TIME
The only thing I liked about this place was the eye doctor! She was very thorough, sweet, knowledgeable, & did a great job helping me!! That was about it though. HORRIBLE staff!!!!!!! Ive been waiting for wks for my lenses to come in. Ive called the office numerous times to try & figure out what was going on & no one knew & they would tell me they would have someone call me back, which NEVER happened!! I finally spoke with the mgr today & she gave me some story about the lenses being on back order & blah blah blah...& that they wouldnt be here til NEXT wk. I asked her why she didnt just tell me that in the very beginning instead of saying they would be here in 2 days! She said sorry, but the tone in her voice was not apologetic at all! It was more of saying sorry just to get me off the phone. So with all that being said & the HORRIBLE service(minus the doctors service) I will NEEEVVVERRR go back here again!!! 👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎
I went for a contract lense exam for myself and a regular annual exam for my 6 year olds at the time and we were both given the wrong prescription. My vision has gotten worse ane Ive had to taken several days off of work because of it. They were more concerned with me passing out their business cards for referrals than making sure we can see properly. My daughters framed for reading were darker than sunglasses and she was embarrassed and was unable to read the board during class. I paid extra for trash!! My prescription had me seeing doubles whole driving. I had ro swap rhe lenses to the other eye just to function. They refused to exchange or refund the error. They continued to try and reschedule me for additional appointments and bill my insurance ahead without my permission. The doctor was kind but I seek competence before promoting based on results. I dont recommend this place. It also took several weeks for the contacts and glasses to come in after several calls; I showed up and they said, they just came inand we were just about to call you.
This place is awful. They over charge and have added hidden costs. I had 100% coverage and still ended up paying $500. Then they refused to give contacts without an added cost for fitting and when I called to schedule that they told me I had to pay for their eye scanner because it was outside of 90 days from my last scan. Really, its because the scanner isnt covered by insurance and they get cash for it. Also, they told me this was a HIPPA regulation. HIPPA is patient privacy law, it doesnt regulate when you need eye exams. Then they changed and said it was their policy. Im young, have no medical problems at all and had a normal scan already. I just wanted contacts because the glasses they fit me for are terrible. This place is a scam!!!
After being a long term patient of Summerlin Vision I will be looking for new doctor. They were very unhelpful with my vision after I received a new prescription since I didnt order my contacts from them. Although I did get my new prescription glasses from them. I fear they gave contact company wrong prescription since my vision is worse than before, but are unwilling to help. Wont be returning.
Dr. Schneider, Brandy and Dave were all very nice. We hope our lenses are just as!
Do not choose this place unless you have exceptional insurance. Buyer beware! They charge $220 for the basic eye exam! And they try to upsell you for $39 optomap scan, which is something that insurance doesnt cover (which we fell for). They do this in place of getting your eyes dilated.My insurance only covered $80. So we were left paying $180 out of pocket, for an eye exam. Thank God we werent so foolish to buy their overpriced glasses from them too.We told them that we wanted to get glasses online, and they were not happy about that. This is a racket!!Apparently,we could have got the same thing (except the optomap) for $85 at Costco, and we would have had to pay $5.The days of paying hundreds/thousands of dollars for eyecare are coming to and end!! If anything, it proves what happens when you put an insurance company in the middle. People dont mind if their eye exam is $250 plus $500 for pair of glasses as long as someone else foots the bill.You wont see us again, and you wont find us recommending your corrupt practice to anyone.
Their contact lens fittings are the cheapest in town! They only charge $30 (or $50 if you have a astigmatism) everywhere else, even walmart, charges $100 so I was really happy to find this place!
Ive been coming here for 11 years and in just the last 2/3 years they have taken a dive for the worst. They charged me for fitting contacts when I didnt need them or want them to. They just did it and then expected me to pay. I ordered contacts and I called months later to check to see if they were in because no one called me. My contacts werent in, they told me they would order them. Then a few months later I called them again to check up and they said they sent the contacts back. They told me they called me several times which is a lie. I have no problems with my cell phone. I manage a cell phone store and I train sales people, this is possibly the worst service I have ever encountered in LAS VEGAS. And ive worked in call centers where you can just press you called the person in the system to cover your ass when you didnt call or do anything. I suspect this is what is going on here. I will never buy anything from this place again. I only come here for my prescription. Right now I am waiting for the doctor. My appointment was at 10:30, I got here at 10:15, and its 11:10 now and still havent seen the doctor. Just terrible service.
By far worst transaction process I have ever encountered. Two weeks to receive my glasses because apparently using insurance delays the manufacturing. Wouldnt even issue me a single form of appeasement or apology when I came in to return my purchase that I havent received. (refund not honored)
The only problem I had is I have no idea what the doctors name is. I wasnt told when I called to make our appointments as new patients. The doctor didnt even introduce himself.
If you shop here your a fool..After 1 year of them ordering the wrong or incorrect lens, They refused to refund or to do the job write, I even spoke to the owner, he said I cant be bothered im going on vacation Dont say i didnt warn you.
