Dr Mark O is the BEST optometrist in all of Las Vegas his staff is very kind helpful and professional

Me and my family have been going to see dr. Mark and his staff since I was about two or three years old. My mother actually believes that we were his first patients when he opened his practice back in the early to late 90s. He has never messed up any kind of problem with our eyes never gotten any order wrong for glasses or contacts I give him five stars because one he is a family friend and two hes just an amazing eye doctor and I think the best in the valley. In fact in my twenty-seven years of seeing dr. Mark they only had one issue with a set of glasses I had ordered about 5 to 6 years ago and now is because it was on backorder and it wasnt even their fault I strongly strongly strongly recommend dr. Mark and his staff at Family Eye Care.

Pathetic !! Called schedule an appointment same-day called back to provide them with insurance information they didnt take it over the phone asked me to bring it in on my appointment day. Showed up for the appointment they couldnt pull my benefits and asked me to reschedule so inconvenient!!!

I’ve seen Dr Ohriner since I was in middle school and he’s always been such a great and understanding guy. There’s no one else that I trust to make me see perfectly but him! Thank you!

I used my VA benefits for a eye exam and new glasses. I now have 3 packs of contacts I can’t wear. Glasses I paid $300 out of pocket for that stay dirty and smudged. The glare off them gives me headaches. These are the worst pair of glasses I have owned. I’be worn glasses for 30 yrs. Oh, but for $100 more they will but some film on them to help stay clean. I went back 3 times to correct the issues. Each time service was worse. I notified the VA of the issues. I hope they don’t send anyone else here. I’ll go to Lens Crafters from now on.

Went for eye exam for myself and my daughter. Dr told my daughter she doesnt know how to read (mind you she had no contacts in and didnt ask her to read anything). Then came the 2 week check up to order our contacts. Dealing with Jasmin at the office. Says she will call back with invoice information, no call back. I finally called again after a couple attempts to get a hold of her, and she took credit card information and said she will email me the invoices. Now on the second day of no contact and no invoice. Credit card not charged, so where did the information go. Still waiting for a call from Jasmin. Will not recommend office to anyone!!

Dr Ohriner is easily the best optometrist in Las Vegas, maybe even the world. Out of all the doctors Ive seen in my life, from physicians to neurology specialists, Dr Ohriner stands at the top. Hes extremely well informed, personable and thorough. I always look forward to visiting his office.

Ive been coming here since i was 9 or even before that, i love this place! Hes the nicest guy ever and funny.

I had an eye emergency and was able to get an appointment asap. The person that made the appointment for me was very helpful and efficient. When I got there for my appointment I was in right a way.The doctors bedside manner was perfect. He asked about my problem, examined me, then he explained what I needed to do and made me feel at ease. They offer a large selection of stylish frames too.I am happy I found Dr. Ohriner Its important to have a good optimistic.

I didn’t get to go inside for my appointment but let me tell you, your assistant Alex, Alexa or whatever her name is she’s super rude not only was she rude over the phone but rolled her eyes when I told her I didn’t have my ID with me. I was nothing but kind to her, if you don’t like your job go find another job because that’s just bad business for the owner of this place !!!

My son was not using his left eye as well as we thought. After exam these awesome people blessed my son with new glasses and frames. We are very grateful and loyal to this office. Bless you guys!

A work associate referred me to Dr. Ohriner when I was having an eye emergency. I had just moved to town and literally knew no one. My eye history is long and complicated so I was a little nervous. Dr. Ohriner is a complete professional. Hes funny and has a great chair-side manner. I was immediately at ease.As part of the exam, he checked my blood pressure and was shocked that it was so high. I had never been told I had high blood pressure. It was so high that he asked me to go to a doc-in-the-box straight away. Dr. Ohriner even called me around 5:30 pm that evening to check on me. Whats THAT worth to you? To me, that shows a truly caring human being. I am simply delighted to have found Dr. Mark Ohriner!PS - After this initial exam, he got me scheduled the very next day with a retina specialist.

Why do I keep coming back? & The only reason is for this doctor! This office is the worst! Been coming here for few years now and have had the worst experience every appointment! If you need to make a appointment for them call them to remind them! They will forget! I can imagine they forget cause everything you go there to check in someone is eating, chatting on there cell phone, gossiping. There is at least 5 girls just walking around obviously doing nothing!

The Eye Dr. is great! Its the staff that need to work on their professionalism, other than that, I would have gave you all 5 stars.

I normally don’t give review but this place really provide good customer service. All the staff are friendly and Dr O’hriners himself is also friendly. It makes you feel welcome when you meet friendly people.

Breanna was so awesome. My brother in law flew in and his luggage went missing. She hooked him up with contacts instantly and refused to take payment. We forced her to let us buy lunch. Great customer service!

I had been coming to Dr Ohriners, or Family Eye Care, I believe now for over 20 years with exceptional service. I wanted to let you know that over the past several weeks from my end of my Diagnostic to the recent pick up of the remade reading frames, Cherise has given me the most enjoyable and helpful service. Cherise was always ready to assist in anyway or answer any question happily.

Young lady in front desk with red hair and a bunch of tattoos is very very very rude if I wasnt a man I would have asked to steep out side about the attitude.....DONT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE

I have been a patient of Marks since I started wearing glasses (wait I wasnt wearing glasses before seeing him, so it must be HIS fault I am wearing glasses LOL. It is a conspiracy). about 3 or 4 years ago.He is professional and funny, his chairside manner is really awesome.I have felt in the past his office staff was not really up to par, but on the last couple of visits I have noticed they are much better!!! Jasmine the Office Manager is just awesome, so is Brianna. they make it a pleasure to go in for a visit!

I love this eye doctor, & everyone else who works with him!! He is really good at taking the time to actually talk with you. He doesnt just rush through an exam. He made sure to explain everything he was saying, to where I could easily understand it. Also, all the questions I asked, he was upfront, honest, & helpful when he answered. He seems very knowledgeable & competent, so I have no problem in trusting my eyes and all things related to my vision, to him. (Also, he is very friendly & energetic, & extremely funny! He had me cracking up! I dont think Ive ever had so much fun at an eye doctors office!!) Plus, I dont remember the girls name who was getting me all set up with everything before I saw the eye doctor, but she was awesome & super sweet! & Alma, the last person I had the pleasure of interacting with, well.... shes amazing!!! Funny, sweet, & genuinely helpful, that girl had me smiling from ear to ear when I walked out of there! This place is now my new favorite eye doctors place! (my ONLY eye doctor now, hopefully!) They all definitely go above and beyond!!(*bonus points for playing Friends on TV in the waiting room!... which I literally only spent 5 minutes in!) Lol. :)

I am in complete shock!! Progressives came in in less than a week. I can see BETTER than perfect!! It took my other doctor 6 times to get my vision close....and weeks for glasses to arrive! I have not seen this well for as long as I can remember!! Thank you Dr. Ohriner and staff in back!! You RAWK!!

This is a very knowledgeable and caring doctor. He knows his business. He doesnt try to selling something that you dont need. His staff is top notch. The office is very neat and clean.

Dont come to these scam artist not only are they rude but they called my gf telling her she needs to pay $115 for contacts she never ordered when she specifically asked for glasses when she told them she only wanted glasses the girl on the phone said sorry theres nothing we can do

I been seeing Dr Ohriner for a few years. Hes truly a great doctor. My eyes have many problems, every time i go to see him, he put my worry in easy, and explain his treatment in detail.I havent see him in about a year due to eye surgery (he refer me to the eye surgeon).I went to see him again a few days ago, I have notice his office change a lot. In before, his front desk staffs really a problem, one time even arguing and yelling who should call my insurance company in front of me. Two ladies blaming each other too lazy to do the job. But now, the new face staffs are friendly, professional, knowledgeable. And the waiting time was short (amazing!). I highly recommend Dr. Ohriner to all.

I have been going to Dr. Ohriner for quite sometime. He has always taken the time to explain in detail what you will need and why, and he usually throws a couple of jokes into the conversation. His staff however is another story, I just got new glasses about a month and a half ago. First it took me longer to receive them than I was told it would be, I got every excuse it the book. And now my glasses just broke 2 days ago, I took them in today 3-27-17 and was told that they have to call the manufacturer, but that they are closed now because its back east. And that they will try to call tomorrow, but they might not have the part. I said ok so what if that happens, the women said then we have to order new frames, I said how long will that take. She stated she had no idea!!I am definitely going to find another eye doctor next time!!!!

Dr Ohriner has been seeing me as a follow up to my Keratoconus implants 3 years ago. He has seen all of my 3 boys. He is dedicated, caring and takes his time with you, sometimes that means you might wait a bit (no always), but its worth it. His staff has generally been good, there were some problem areas a couple years ago but it seems better. All in all, he is a very good eye doctor. I noticed a review by a Mr. Perez and was pretty upset. If you are going to say the wait was too long fine..but to say he is the worst optometrist is out of line. As far as quality of care and time he gives you, he is one of the best and believe me I have seen a few including Dr. Boxer Wachler of Beverly Hills. Dont confuse staff problems with quality care from the actual doctor, that is not a fair assessment.

Ive been coming to this establishment for a little over a year. The staff there is so-so. The optometrist Mark Ohriner is the worst. I purposely booked the first appointment at 9AM today, and after waiting for an hour and 15 minutes Ohriner was nowhere to be found. Totally unprofessional. His staff didnt bother to find out where he was - only response I got was we dont know where he is. Im a busy professional and this is the second time this has happened with this man. The first time it took 2 hours to be seen - his excuse was he had a problem case ahead of me. I dont buy it. Headed somewhere else.

I have been going to Dr.Mark Ohriner for years he takes care of me and my family,my wife has complex problems and now she can see perfectly! He is a true professional and proficient.If you have to wait a little longer than normal its for a reason,because he cares about the patient and wants to make sure you can see!

I am one of the problem guests who accidentally hold you up. You know why? Dr. Ohriner refused to just send me on my way when I had a problem. He took the time to re-examine me on the spot to be sure of what I needed. I work in a very busy physical therapy office where patients no show or show up at the wrong times constantly. Managing the patient calendar is very tough, I am sure it is the same for this office. I highly recommend the office staff, and of course, Dr. Ohriner if you want a thorough and complete exam, explained in a down to earth way. This is my 6th year of being his patient and I will be around for many more.

I agree that the Doctor himself is pretty good. He did use the F-bomb a few times that I felt was not needed but he was good at his job. Candy the Office manager is a wreck. No idea how she got into customer service. I called with a complaint because of the wait time, (which was 4 months and I still dont have my contact lenses,) and she flipped out and kept interrupting me.. horrible service save yourself the trouble.

Always a pleasurable experience. Dr, Ohriner is the consummate professional. He is a very dedicated and personable Optometrist.

I have been seeing Dr Ohriner for years! I have to say, there has been much improvement with the patients wait time. Kudos to you and your staff for recognizing changes needed.

Dr. Is great caring for his patients, receptionist The worst, they never answer the phone, never do follow ups or call you when the glasses arrive or contacts.The worst reps.

Dr. Ohriner has been my eye doctor since 1996. I have since moved away from Las Vegas, yet continue to travel back to use Dr. Ohrniers service because he is so detailed with the exam. He does spend more time with patients to make sure all the Ts are crossed and the Is dotted. No eye chart pun intended. When I decided to have laser surgery Dr. Ohriner performed the pre-surgery exam and his office referred me to the Abrams Eye Institute who performed the surgery with the follow up handled by Dr. Ohriner. I have been so pleased with the results that my wife has done the same!Recently I had a annual eye exam with Dr. Ohriner. He found a small growth in one of my eyes; He made a quick referral and again his professional staff had me scheduled for the removal of the growth with the Abrams Eye Institute. The biopsy proved that Dr. Ohriner was correct in the diagnosis and the treatment and I did not even realize there was a problem.Thank you Dr. Ohriner.

Horrible place to go to shipment on on my glasses have taken longer than a month all three times I have gone, they always have an excuse I do no recommend this place this is the last time I will ever be going here

Doctor gave me a free pair of contacts and then billed me for them 6months later. I also then got a bill for contact prescription that I specifically stated I could not afford yet they billed my insurance company then me. Scam!
