Great prices. Wide selection. Great black people hair products. Staff great. I dont know about 3 years ago, but NOW ITS GREAT.

I love going here they always have what I need. If they dont have it they at least know when they will get it. You get greeted when you walk into the door and asked if you need assistance. Thats what I call customer service.

I’m from LA, CA and wanted to support a black owned store... Very unprofessional... While checking out the cashier was just running her mouth on the phone from the time I walked in to I checked out... Now I didn’t have a problem until I approached the counter and she kept talking as if I was invisible... She rung up my items, never greated me (damn at least acknowledge your customers) and continued her conversation while ringing my items... I almost put the items back... RUDE RUDE RUDE... I see why I was the only customer in the store... Do Better!!!! Everybody is watching.... I won’t come here again... then again they wigs are CHEAP so I might go back just for that....

Got some nice products here but the sales personnel was so ANIMATED that I thought is there a camera somewhere cause this guy thinks hes in a MOVIE. EXTRA! The ratings for the store are spot on...soon as I walked in I felt as if I was being watched and not in a good way. Im from Az so 1st time in this store, I asked for a certain brand of hair she pointed to the aisle, didnt even walk me over to it. I brushed it off but the stares I got from the 2 manly looking females upfront is why I dont shop black business. & im a black woman. I wanted to spend jus a dollar but the he/she at the register said it was a $5 minimum to use my card so I added a few beads a total of $5.24 and I gladly went down the street to the Asians where I spent my $66.58

It was an old black male behind the register he looked high or sick. He asked me did I want a bag I responded with yes. Then proceeded to tell me I did not need a bag for my items.The ghetto is all I can say. I pray this is not black-owned because this makes us look bad.

Im not a fan of the return policy. I paid cash and returned items Same Day. They will not give you store credit or refund and you must buy something else in the store equal to what you spent within 10 days. Be sure you absolutely know that the hair or any item you buy is what you want. Their braiding hair color selection is very limited. The staff was cordial.

Good pricing, a large selection of wigs and weaves. Could use an update on organizing the store and adding signs especially if you dont have staff working the floors. Overall if you know what you want and dont need assistance this is a good place to shop.

This store has a great selection of hair, wigs and products. I called ahead looking for something and they were very helpful. When I got to the store the staff helped me again to find what I had asked for, very friendly.

Having recently cut off my sister locs of 14 years plus I was shopping for a new look. Maria, Katrina and Erica were very professional and patient with me. Lots of items in faux hair were new and updated to me. These ladies are my go to for advice in this hair market.Aileen F

I love this place! Ive been to a bunch of beauty supply stores,but this one is the best in my opinion. You get to try wigs on (unless theyre lace), the staff are very nice, the owner - at least I think hes the owner - is polite and friendly. The prices are good. Other places use Covid as an excuse to not let you try wigs on. Thats some bs. I dont have that kind of money, to be buying without knowing what its going to look like. So, in conclusion, this is the best place for me!

I dont like being treated as if I am a theif, I went into this beauty supply after purchasing a suitcase at Ross for a planned trip. As I walked into the store I had the suitcase in tow with me the man asked me to leave my suitcase at the front of the store, now I dont know about all of you but that doesnt make me feel comfortable as a paying customer.

I went here and bought my girl a 500$ wig and it was messed up the next day.. they prices are double from any other beauty supply in town.. they only get business because they in the ghetto around the corner from twain.. for the best deals I suggest beauty supply warehouse 4 minutes up the street on maryland.. they normally have 50% off

Even though they dont have a large variety of hair, and hair products I still sometime go there because its close in area I live in, but today was a very angry and UNPROFESSIONAL EMPLOYEE and I really didnt appreciate the things I heard her say and the swearing, she shouldve known customers heard what she was saying and ATTITUDE WAS VERY OBVIOUS!!blond with shaved head on one side, African American woman angry one at that!! SMH!!

Overall nice place. They have a good selection of braiding hair, lots of colors, generally I feel like a good selection of everything. They have lots of hair accessories that the other beauty supplies dont have. Hair products they kinda tax on but you pay for convenience so. Staff is always friendly when I go personally.

This was the rudest place I have ever been to. They treat you with utter disregard and barely speak to you. When they do they are always rude and unprofessional. Save your money. Their hair collection is pitiful.

Hair Plus is NOT black owned! The staff is black, most likely because the community is predominantly black. However, they do carry a huge selection but for the wigs and extensions I feel that he marked the prices up way too much for the quality.

This store has lots of pretty wigs but most of them are overpriced. The worker who helped me was really nice. As I was checking out, I asked for an item behind the counter. When the cashier finished ringing me up I asked her if she got the item that I asked for and she said yes. When I got to my destination the item was not there. She charged me for it but didn’t give it to me.

I normally come here for crochet hair (featress brand) and the shine n jam because they have the larger jar and other supply stores dont carry the large jar. Also, if you are a licensed cosmetologist you can use your discount here. However, this is only 1 of 3 beauty supply stores I shop at.

I’m from California since this shop does carry a lot of items similar to the LA beauty supplies, That I like !! On the other hand I came in to find some hair or wig for my wedding and as I looked through the wigs I had at the minimum 4 people asked if I needed help . When I finally looked through the wigs I found the perfect one but those 4 girls were NO WHERE TO BE FOUND .. Funny how that works I decided to find another beauty supply Seeing how instead of closing a sale they’d rather follow you around the store I took my money elsewhere “shrugs

Carries my preferred products. Doesnt feel great to shop there. Wigs are marked up like crazy. I always cross ref with online/Amazon prices. Its the one beauty supply in Vegas which I most rely on. Though, I always restock on what I really want and need when I travel to Chicago; where the prices are fair and the shopping experience doesnt make you feel like a criminal.

Okay selection. Staffs are knowledgeable . However, price for wif is ridiculously overpriced. I needed a wig so I agreed to buy it on the spot. If not, I would just order online and have and extra 40 bucks.

The staff are friendly and very helpful. The stock is plentiful, its a very clean and huge place. However, at checkout, the management shows NO customer service at all. They ring you up & snatch your money! I have experienced that on most of my visits, but continue to go due to the stock availability.

Best one yet. They got anything and everything you want. I’m from the Bay Area where they spoil us with the best beauty supplies store so it reminds me of home.

I must admit, this is the best beauty supply store in the area. With a selection of hair, products, accessories, and more thats out of this world. From the best human to the coolest and most affordable, you will be satisfied. Make sure to bring extra cash, some items can be pricey!

Its Cool, not a Beauty Supply Warehouse, but its pretty good, theyre OK, except for their propensity to treat everyone as though they are stealing.Apparently their Surveillance can lock the door and keep you from exiting if they suspect something, very unnerving, we didnt appreciate the false imprisonment.After we made our purchases, the exit wouldnt open, the Clerk had to come over, wave at the camera and wow, suddenly the door would open.

It’s true, the customer service is lacking, no one ever asks “may I help you” or “do you need assistance”, but when I am able to find an available employee, they are helpful. Have always been able to locate what I need, so I’m just in and out and I keep it pushing.

Very unprofessional, no greeting! No smile! I felt unwelcome as a customer!

Had a good experience last time I came here, staff made me feel comfortable. However, this time the Asian women (owner I’m assuming) followed me around the store pretending to fix nothing. I almost walked out without buying what I came for. It doesn’t make good paying customers fee good to be followed around like thieves. If you have a stealing problem I suggest security.

I will never purchase anything from this store ever again. They have a bad reputation for treating customers poorly. I witnessed that with my own eyes, and they made the news because of their insidious behavior towards customers. Ordrer from other companies online like Sams Beauty. Its more cost efficient and you can keep your dignity at the same time!

This store, Racial Profiles African American Women. It was on Ch. 5 Fox News Today! A woman, purchased her item. Security Guard and I use that loosley! Asked to see her bag/purse, prior to her leaving. You see other customers leaving the store, without any issue of checking their bag/purse. She questions him, as to why he needed to search her bag/purse. He allows her to leave, after searching her bag. She had been recording him via her cell phone. She proceeds outside, he follows her. She continues recording him. He had the nerve to call 911 and tell them theres a hostile customer and she might have a weapon.... Shes in shock, and clearly who wouldnt be? This place, should get SLAPPED WITH A LAW SUITE!!! I WILL NEVER EVER SHOP HER! I will also, get the word out, on Social Media. Ill also tell my Family and Friends, not to go to this store! This is straight, racial profiling! How dare you, to treat an African American Woman, that way! Or any woman that way, she was clearly embarrassed, as she should be! The nerve for that security guard call 911 and report, shes hostile and might have a weapon. This fool, should be fired and never again, to work for any security company. He should get arrested for calling 911, and having the police come out. Talk about being embarrassed and humiliated.. Im so sorry, she had to go through this B.S... She recorded everything, from the time inside the store, when he asked to search her bag. Until leaving and him calling 911, so yes all the proof, was on Fox 5 News tonight! This place should be shut down, both locations matter of fact!!!!

Formerly from Seoul, they have a wonderful selection of hair, hair products and Jewelry, hence the 5 Star rating. They Know Speciality Retailing at its best!. They have new employees and the service has improved 100%! (at least the days I have that is the case) I definitely give them 2 thumbs up for the great improvements in regards to employee customer service skills. They have always had all the products you could need and more!

I would usually give this place five stars according to the customer service previously received and tell my last visit I cannot believe I was treated the way I have been treated and Ive been coming here for almost 2 years is just disappointing and disrespectful a young lady with a denim jacket with gray sweatshirt sleeves assisting me with straight back cornrow braids with a braiding hair I asked her to show me the human hair in Swiss lace frontal wigs she approached me with an attitude off tops and I didnt even get to say hi or what I wanted I came in to buy $1,200 worth of wigs and instead I ended up walking out in the hand and because of the sour feeling in my stomach from the shity customer service I received she was so rude I wish I would have gotten a picture of her I just lied and said I didnt have enough money for the wigs that I had took interest in made her put them back and I walked out empty-handed better off that way this is why I shop online people dont know how to act

I enjoyed browsing through the vast amount of product available in this store.Also the customer service was amazing...and even though the store was extremely busy the staff was patient, friendly, helpful and fully attentive to every customer in the store. Worth a visit for sure.

Sold me fake hair on the package it said human hair 100% human but it was absolutely fake its some kind of blend but $150 for the package not even worth it first time I washed it there were so many chemicals coming out of it was ridiculous it smelled really bad in the place next-door to this place that sold me the hair put the hair in and after just a week the hair is already falling out of my head to places that I would definitely not recommend anybody $300 total down the drain!! Sucks !!!!! I wouldnt even give one star but had to to leave this review to let people out here know what the deal is ! Besides this everyone was nice and friendly but maybe cause they knew they was ripping people off when they come in there store who knows ! I sure dont lol 😂

Staff was very nice and easy to find. Store very clean, however unable to find what i needed or was not enough to work with. Speaking on the Crotche hair had to just settle for something else.

Nice supply of hair products and the staff was helpful. The one thing that is disturbing is their posting pictures of shoplifters all over the front door of the store. It is kinda of weird.

Some of the ladies that use to work here weren’t so helpful or friendly. The ladies here now are always helpful and friendly. I’ve been going here for years and we always find exactly what I’m looking for.

Went there Asian man was very rude didnt want to help too much seem irritated. He was sitting at the register and I approach the register and stated I was ready he pulsed with hes had down as he sat then begin to scan all items while still sitting down I felt as if my money wasnt wanted here. Completely unprofessional, has absolutely No Customer Service. I recently went to this store to purchase some items not knowing that this store is unethical. At the time of purchase i was unaware the some of the items I had purchased had been opened and product had been Missing out of them. So after noticing them I then called the store to explain to them what I had noticed. The manager then with out letting me finish speaking told me that it is not his problem or fault that the items had been open or missing and that there is nothing he could do about it, and hung up in my face. So now Im stuck with open items and missing products. This beauty supply is completely unmannered, rude and has no Customer Service at all.
