Arrived in Vegas for my bothers wedding last month and in need to hair service. Was able to schedule the same day. Service was professional and the results were so outstanding that I may well return to Vegas in 4-8 weeks for more adventures and another visit for perm, trim and styling!!

I came in today for a same day appointment and got my braids taken down, my hair washed and a sew in. The hair that I bought was purchased here where they have a very wide variety. Michelle and Aly did an amazing job. They made me feel very comfortable since I’m tender headed. Their prices were very good I don’t think any other place can match them. I will definitely be making this my permanent hair salon.HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

I listened to people call same day on a holiday weekend and get mad because its too busy, then threaten to post a bad review on Yelp!!!Yet never got in for a hair appointment!!!! Black Woman have a very hard time in Las Vegas finding a good Hair Stylist that can really GROW YOUR HAIR. This is the place, but time is taken to do great work and it is very busy. If youre worried about damaging your hair, you DONT ever have to worry about that here. She will never do anything to damage or further damage your hair in any way. I can’t say enough good things about this business. I was in Las Vegas for a bachelorette party and needed to find a neon wig to match my outfit for the evening since the wig I had ordered previously didn’t get delivered on time. I had four hours to find a wig. When I had called to ask for the store hours Michelle informed me they were going to be closing soon. I then began to explain my dilemma and she not only offered to deliver it to my hotel she sent me pictures of options, stopped at a beauty supply store to grab supplies for me, and paid attention to every detail including what I was wearing and what I looked like to make sure that the wig matched my overall look. I was blown away with the service I received, she turned a very stressful situation into a great experience. My wig was the hit of the party!

Contacted Michelle about reattaching my dreadlocks that I cut off last year, she responded quickly and was able to schedule me soon after. Several other shops refused to perform the same service. My hair was about 2 inches long and the entire process took about 6 hours. Michelle took her time to get the job done correctly, I’m am very happy with how my dreads come out, they look very natural. She has definitely earned a new loyal client!!!

I moved to Las Vegas about 5 months ago and have been looking for a local shop/stylist to do my hair. My hair is a bit of a nightmare so I am VERY careful about who does it. Anyone looking to rock a silk press will be in good hands with Michelle. I had a hair appointment a week ago and I left her shop absolutely loving my look. My hair looked fuller, smelled amazing, and had a bounce like you wouldnt believe. The salon was clean and she took all the necessary health and safety precautions to meet the quarantine requirements. I give my experience 4.5 stars because the wait was a bit lengthy but Michelle took it upon herself to add a treatment to compensate for the wait time. When you book an appointment with Michelle you will feel taken care of. She has a welcoming and kind energy and although it was my first time in her salon I felt like I knew her for years. Ill be back to follow up with my haircare and be back with another review. So happy!

My experience at Johnsons Black Hair Las Vegas Flamingo was great!! I had my hair done in LA & it was a hot mess!! I didnt know what I was going to do & if I was going to be looking crazy for Christmas or what!! But I found Ms. Michelle on Google search & she was the only one open on Sunday. She is a God-send & she saved my do just in time for a Christmas miracle. I got curly crochet braids done with three packs of Rasta-fri hair (See photo).

Tried calling to make a appointment no answer and mailbox is full so i decided to drive over because its not far from my house and according to their hours posted they are open till 8. Arrived and not only do they not have a sign with their name outfront but its not even 5 yet and they are closed. This would have been my first time coming here but i will find another more professional looking salon.*update to response* I do not have damaged hair and i am very constant in the upkeep of my hair not sure what is exactly meant by energy as i have never been to this salon so how would you know what type of vibes i have? Michelle gave me an amazing sew-in bob ! Located only 5 min from the Las Vegas Strip she was professional, gave informative hair care advice and made me feel very comfortable. Michelle is an experienced stylist who has an array of skills. While there I wittnessed her braiding, pressing, relaxing, sewing and cutting clients hair. Michelle did wonders on my hair, I had some grays and she covered them with a brown. She used many great products that work for my hair. It was a long time in the shop, and my friend waited outside for 6 hours for me. So if someone is taking you, try not to waste their time like I did. Other than that, she did a great job on my hair. Ive been coming to Black Hair Las Vegas for over a year now and my hair has been growing like crazy! On my 1st consultation Michelle the owner/stylist educated me on what I needed to do to grow my hair. I started using a rapid hair growth system consisting of shampoo, conditioner, and rapid growth hair system drops. I use the drops on my edges 3 times a week just two drops and massage it in! I love that I can pull my natural hair back into an afro puff or straighten it out past my shoulders. This Rapid Hair Growth System is Amazing!!

My hair came out great. Michelle took her time gave me a great wash. Deep conditioning to help with my dry scalp. Then fixed my hair style and gave me a great press and cut. She really cares about her work and really made my hair look and feel great!! Thank you again Michelle.

Michelle at Black Hair Las Vegas did my daughter’s hair and she does amazing work! The technique she uses to braid my daughter’s hair is great. I’ve never seen any hair stylist use this technique before. Michelle really cares about your hair and wants it to grow. She took the time to press and comb my daughter’s hair before she started braiding it. I came to find a wig and left with three! I purchased synthetic and am very happy with the quality of the hair. Anytime I wear one of the wigs people tell me they love my hair! First of all, she moved to a new location, she is not on flamingo anymore. I am a bio racial 33 year old woman who struggles daily with her coarse uncontrollable hair. I’ve struggled since I was little with this hair. I came to her looking for a hot comb session, but with shampoo, trim and everything this woman transformed my hair almost instantly. The products she uses are out of this world. I am here right now and I’m definetly coming back. So worth it if you have corse mixed hair that is hard to control . I am so excited!

Got a partial sew in first time! Absolutely loved it, lasted a long time and looked good till the last day I had it in lasted 5 months. I bought a bundle of Indiana hair 26 and it stayed silky smooth the entire 5 months. Definitely worth the money. Shes knows her stuff so if you go to her shell guide you in the right direction definitely recommend!

Michelle braids very, very well, but was late to our appointment, took a client that arrived after i did first which took about 25 additional minutes, and the style of cornrows wasnt like the picture i showed her at all. That being said, she was very nice and affordable. She does have a dog in the shop to any of you who are allergic, but the dog is extremely well mannered.

Michelle has been braiding hair since the fourth grade, and it shows. She had me dialed in under 60 minutes with fatty cornrows. Also, her prices were more than reasonable. Ill be going back and I definitely reccomend. As I was writing this, pumping gas, Ive already received 2 complements. :)

Website says they are open 7 days a week until 9 PM. Went to the store today at 7:45 to purchase hair and on the door hung a sign that read “I’m in back. Please call.” Which was also right next to a business card that said they were open 7 days a week until 10 PM. Lights and everything were on in the shop. I called multiple times and no one answered. Knocked on the door and no one came to the door. Extremely unprofessional to advertise incorrect closing times. Also stupid to put a sign on the door stating you’re able to be reached and then not answer the phone. Extremely annoying experience, and I won’t even bother wasting my money here.

I found Michelle on the website and decided to checked it out..I wanted her to do short quick weave or braids but the way my hair was set up, it was badly damaged and added weave again wouldve been worse than it already is so I had it cut...at first I was nervous because I had bald spots and was afraid it would showed but when she permed and styled it omg! It turned out smooth and cute! I couldnt even hardly see the baldness even gotten my hair dyed to cover the gray area. She also gave me advice on how to take care of it, Im definitely coming back to start my hair growth journey!

The bundles are excellent. The wigs are cute and they are unto growing hair and helping you grow as a person. They are olen foe emergency wigs and appointments for a higher fee. You will be shocked and very pleased.

My second time sitting in this shop and my services were even better this time around. My first hairstyle awed all of my co workers and family memebers, everyone loved it!! Now I am reinacting the same style with some spiced flavor and talc because the artist has mastered the flexibility of my hair already. I am so glad I found this place and recommend everyone who is anyone come here to be blessed by the timeless styles done here! I’m so blessed that I get to take this hairstyle with me way to New York and I know the compliments will continue to flow.Don’t forget this store has wigs and hair products and the stylist is beyond knowledgeable in her craft.
