Im very happy with the service I received from Tony at Affordable Appliance Repair. My dryer broke, on a Sunday, and as a single mom, I didnt know what to do. I started to Google, and gave Angi my information and problem details. Tony called almost immediately, and was at my house within an hour. He was polite, professional and most importantly, highly skilled. He fixed the problem, and best of all, his price was lower than any of the other quotes I received. Quickest response, best price, and very proficient. Great company!

Was very impressed how Angies List recommended his company and within 5 minutes I got a response call. Tony arrived within a 1 1/2 hour and resolved my problem by replacing evaporator fan in my refrigerator. Very fair prices and honest man : ) He differently is my hero for saving me from having to buy a new refrigerator.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! Tony came to our house an hour and a half late. My chest freezer stopped working. He said that it was the compressor and that he had a part to fix it. During the process of repairing the compressor he broke the panel and knob on the front of the freezer. He didnt say anything until he was finished and had taped it back on with clear packing tape. I asked him if he was going to knock some off the price for breaking my appliance. He got loud and defensive and stated that he was already giving us a good price. My husband asked him if he thought that it was professional to come in and break something when he was there for a repair. He immediately told us that he would take his part back out and that our food could just go bad. He took the part out of the freezer and stormed out. I cant believe that Home Advisor and Angies list are still recommending this person. Unfortunately I used Home Advisor and did not see all of the bad reviews until after this happened. If you value your appliances at all.......call someone else.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! Tony will offer you discount if paid in cash and then never return to finish the work. Just like the other reviewer, suddenly he has family emergency and can’t possibly return - what a scam! I saw the bad review but thought it was just one, so maybe give the guy the benefit of the doubt. No such luck - rotten to the core with the exact MO as the previous reviewer stated. If you have had encounters with this company you need to post it - that is the only way to get this guy out of business!

Do not ever use Tony Huckaby As a repair person for any appliance. He uses several company names including affordable appliance repair. This person is unlicensed, unscrupulous, and dishonest.I found him online. He was hired to repair a stackable washing machine unit because the washing machine Would not drain or spin. He said the service call would be $45. He ended up charging me $98 because he said he had already done some work and I reasoned that it would be put toward the rest of the labor. First he said I needed a new pump. Then he decided I needed a new motor after my motor began sparking and blew up in a puff of electrical mo would not drain or spin. When he turned the new motor on it also began to spark. He turned it off and told me he would have to come back tomorrow to finish the job because he had another appointment. Well the next day he called me and suddenly he had to leave town on a family emergency and could not come back and finish the job. And by the way he begged me to pay him the day before Which I did because it gave me a big sob story about needing the money to pay his rent. Don’t hire this guy he does not know what he’s doing. He took $440 and never returned and my washing machine is still broken!

DO NOT USE THIS GUY, TONY HUCKABY!! Came out to fix a stackable washer/dryer unit. Washer wasnt spinning or draining, First said it was the pump, then said it needed a new motor after it blew up in a cloud of sparks and smoke as he was working on it! He did replace the motor, but new motor sparked when he turned on the machine. Said he had to go to another job & would come back next day to put in a capacitor. This is after I have paid him $440 cash at his insistance! Next day he suddenly has a family emergency and has to leave town and cant finish the job!!! He never left town. My friend called and made an appointment with him! He didnt know what was wrong with my machine so he lied, ripped me off and ran away like the crook he is!!! Lesson learned: never pay before the job is done. Dont fall for sob stories. DONT HIRE TONY HUCKABY!!

They never called back and were no-shows to the appointment. Not impressive for a business. I would never use them again.
