So this is a little overdue, as Ive had some serious health issues going on this year and then add a pandemic and all that madness, I truly apologize to the company for taking so long because they were truly amazing. This purchase was made in mid January 2020.Yes, they do sell used, as well as open box, returned, and scratch and dent, but they are totally up front about it and the details of each transaction.I originally went to another place which I cannot remember the name of over behind the Orleans Casino, they had a huge commercial garage and I bought a fridge that their delivery guy broke both during transit and installation, and forgot the water filter and something else at the shop. He said he would be back the next morning and didnt show, I then called and talked to the owner who had someone back over quickly so I thought I was good, nope! The hubby then realized the break that occurred during installation with the balancer. I called back and owner was rude and asked what else I was going to complain about and I told him to send someone to pick it up and give me a refund.During this time frame I had went to Action and bought a washer and dryer and already had a delivery set up for the very next morning, so I called them very upset because I could not go without a fridge very long having already bought groceries and also having a handicapped child with special dietary needs. I was hoping they had something they could add to the delivery that was already set up. They asked what kind of fridge I was looking for, what color, size, and brand preference. This was 5 minutes to closing, and we hung up and within 10 minutes they texted pictures of 3 choices with pricing. I picked one and they sent me the info to add it to the financing and within another 10 minutes they had the approval and added it to the pending delivery. They stayed late to do this.The next morning when they showed they installed everything including the added fridge and I have had no problems and its been 9 months now. I bought all Samsung stuff that was scratch and dent that were at 50% off retail that had barely any damage if anyone is curious.I do not remember the names of all involved but I dealt with two black gentleman that were both the salespeople and delivery people, and had a short conversation with the owner in the store about the finance company and all of them were very knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly.I would recommend this place to anyone!Thanks Action! First off their sales associates are AMAZING! They were extremely knowledgeable and ready to be helpful in all aspects! I had a pleasant time and found what I was looking for at a VERY AFFORDABLE PRICE! They also fix appliances in a timely fashion! 5 stars definitely!

As a former employee I feel compelled to inform the public about some critical issues that could affect whether or not they choose to shop at the store.If you’re not aware, they are a “scratch and dent” store. In addition, some of the appliances are returns. If the item your considering is a return… I HIGHLY recommend you determine if the manufacturer is going to honor the warranty BEFORE you purchase it. I discovered that not all items in the store will have a warranty beyond the 30 days offered by the store. Any other Open Box (dented) items should be no issue.Beyond that, there is an uncertainty, as you might find with any small business. When I originally signed up with them in December, they had three stores including this one. Since that time, they have closed one store and the other store has returned to its original owner and is no longer a part of Action Home Appliance, so now the this is the only store left. They appear to be well financed but there were rumors that the company might not stay in business.I was told many times that we were not selling enough product and the store was losing money. In my opinion, the advertising campaign failed and we employees were (and the current employees still are) posting ads on Facebook Marketplace, Offer Up and even Craigslist to get customers in the door. In all my 40 years of being a salesman, I’ve never been asked to take responsibility for placing ads and cultivating my own customers. It was very frustrating and time consuming.The customer Lorrie who claims that we were “shady”, was trying to extort us by threatening to report the company to the BBB, which she did. Honestly, my Ad was a mistake. I made a mistake, but then in my opinion, I shouldn’t have had to post ads on FB Marketplace at all….. so it never should have been an issue. I even offered to buy her a washing machine out of my own pocket and she wanted free next day delivery on top of that. Honestly the entire situation was badly handled in my opinion.I’m not disparaging the company. I believe they are doing the best they can, but is it going to be enough to keep them in business. In my opinion…. I don’t think so. I’m not disgruntled….. I’m disappointed. I had high hopes for my position at this company, but things were so bad that I felt compelled to complain and they chose to fire me.If I were in the market for an appliance, I would probably look at one of the chain stores with a longer history of being in business and free delivery. It’s worth it to me to have the confidence to know that the company will be there…. It doesn’t mean you can find a great deal at the store, but in my opinion, it’s not worth it.
