Helpful staff, bought my very first gun here. Background check was done earlier than promised, around 3 hours or maybe less (they told me 1 day). Friendly staff members. Overall a positive experience for buying my first gun. Will be frequenting this store in the near future.

Great little shop. Staff are always attentive and willing to answer questions even when busy. They usually have ammo when no one else does.

First order with Ventura. Great price on the ammo I ordered but reduce 1 star for bad shipping. The ammo was not placed in a separate box for shipping, they original thin cardboard box was used, if it was not for the package tape down the center, the whole case would have come apart. The real issue is because FedEx is horrible and they dropped the box multiple times it seems and it ripped the box.

This place is the one stop shop for everything and anything you need firearm wise. Twice I have used them for FFL shipment for my online purchases and had no issues. I also have bought many rifle accessories for both my AR-15s and everytime I look at their ammo shelf they have bulk bags of ammo 300-500 packs fully stocked. All the staff who work there are top notch proffessionals and are busy helping the droves of people who show up there on a daily basis. I would recommend this place to my family and friends 👍👍👍👍👍

Friendly and welcoming staff that are knowledgeable and helpful, with out being belittling, when I was asking questions.I was referred here by a couple different friends and was proven worthy of gaining my loyalty as a customer.One employee even offered and helped me carry my bulk ammo to my car. This place is great. Small operation but big on sales staff which is a plus. Personally I dig the depth of inventory to customize various platforms only downside is the website doesnt give a good snapshot as to everything they have which is a lot!

Came here to pick up ammunitions that i couldnt fine at my local gun stores here in utah. I was on a work trip and stopped by here to get some 9x39 ammo. They had plenty in stock. Awesome customer service. Went and found it for me and everything. Easy access location near the strip. Definitely will go out of my way to come here again. I would recommend checking them out. They also had a lot of good sales on bulk ammo going on.

After all this craziness is over, the gun community needs to remember the places that gouged the hell out of ammo prices, especially when we needed it the most, SHAME on Ventura Munitions. Furthermore, though Ive gone in several times, and the staff has been helpful, Ive also experienced unnecessary rudeness from the staff. No longer recommend.

This is probably the best gun store I have ever been to. The workers know their product very well and are extremely helpful. They have affordable prices on their guns and have inexpensive transfer fees. They have streamlined the process of buying guns in a smooth and legal way. They also sell a large variety of many other gun accessories and ammo. I will be coming back to this store for sure! If you love guns this is the place to go.

Extremely disappointed. The staff was extremely unhelpful and was very short whenever I had a question to ask. The store clerk that I spoke to was mumbling and did not communicate clearly. The store itself is very small and doesnt offer a lot of variety in comparison to a lot of other stores. One thing I am grateful for is that there is competition as I will not be returning to this location. There was a lady who had a staff member assist her to her vehicle after she made a purchase but no such service was offered to me despite having a rifle case in one hand and a box of bulk ammo in another. Not one store clerk offered to open the door for me even though I had my hands full. Theres no reason to go back to this location when there are TONS of other stores to spend money at. If you dont care about your customer service experience then this might be the place for you. If you want to converse with the staff and gain knowledge about guns then I suggest choosing anywhere else.

Went in there for some ammo and wasnt disappointed. Been to several other local shops in the Mountain Edge part of town and couldnt find bulk 2.23 or 5.56 for less then 350 dollars anywhere. This place sold 500rds of 2.23, 55 grain, for $122.99! I bought two boxes of it, including a 250rd box of Winchester 12g bird shoot for 50 dollars. All that said, I will definitely be buying my ammo from here again as long as the prices remain as they are!... for the 7.62 guys, that looked to be going for about the same price as the 2.23

Nice guys. Great prices. They do Cerakote in house for pretty reasonable prices, and have great prices on their own bulk remanufactured ammo. They do have some specialty stuff in stock (ZEV triggers, match barrels, etc), as well as a few NFA items (saw some SBRs and a Maxim 9). And and accessories are reasonably priced. Pack of snap caps were $13, when theyre $20 at most other shops Ive visited. I just looked, and didnt buy, but Ill be back next time I need something.

There is always friendly staff there and they are always willing to help, and very knowledgeable about everything related to what they sell.A friend of mine purchase an AR there and after letting them know we were wanting to go shooting with it now, without even asking they field striped it, cleaned and lubed it for him. My experience at Ventura munitions very disappointing to say the least. The lack of customer service and unwillingness to help was appalling. My sales person (middle age)was uninterested in answering my questions, short with me and did not care to engage with me. He basically profiled me to be a non-buyer when in fact I was ready to purchase. At this point, I rather pay more money for better service elsewhere. Im not one to leave reviews but this experience really compelled me to do so due to the unprofessionalism displayed by their sales person. I have shared my experience with my friends and advised them to beware of such treatment from the staff.

Good service while I was there but got home noticed I was missing a bolt for a new grip I purchased. I called left a message and phone number and havent gotten a call back. I also sent an email and no response. Not professional at all saying you will give call backs and not do so and not reply to email. Simple fix and just being ignored.Update: Contacted Hogue and they took the time to email me back already and are correcting the situation by sending me the bolt that was missing. How sad Ventura Munitions couldnt even take the time to respond to my voicemail or email. Very unprofessional and poor customer service.

Ive only spoken with the customer service people on the phone, but they were very nice and wanted to answer my questions, not like some places Ive called who act like they just want you off theyre phone, the representatives Ive spoken with here are knowledgeable, courteous, professional and want to help you out with your question and help you pick out a weapon or ammo, thats why Ill be buying my next weapon from them.

Ive been going to this place before they expanded to twice their size.They were the best then.....and still are.While half the gun stores in Las Vegas were folding, Ventura Munitionswas growing...figure it out.This store not only has the most amazing choice of ammo but theyalso have small parts to complete your build (detents, springs, etc).I dont know of any store in town that has .50 Beowulf....Venturahas boxes and boxes of every style.Every employee is friendly and well-trained....this makes Venturamy favorite store.

Ive been here at least 10 times. These guys are awesome their prices are really good especially on their remanufactured ammo. I cant believe they dont have five out of five on reviews. Last time I was there I spent $1,500 on ammo, while theyre gunsmith put a battery in my wifes Pocket Gun lasar for free.

Wow! This is a really great place. Went there today to purchase my S&W 9mm Shield and I was impressed with the selection of handguns available. I had decided before hand the Shield was the gun I wanted and was prepared to defend my choice if need be but there was no high pressure to step up to a more expensive gun which you DO get in some other stores. I had checked around some other stores and found not only did they NOT have the gun in stock but their prices were higher. I was pleased to find it in stock plus at a better price. Now thats what I call a gun store. Oh, did I mention the staff was terrific. All in all a fantastic experience that will definitely have me going back.

They have a wide variety of ammunition at almost online prices (better than some) and a lot of accessories.I’d recommend that anyone buy ammunition here, their reloads are solid with almost no malfunctions (in my experience maybe 1 in 1,000).

Had issue returning an item. The guy with the tacky ponytail charged me 25 dollars for the cardboard the item came in and constantly kept complaining about the packaging. Was informed prior to purchase that I could return the item no problem if there were issues. Ponytail was rude and disrespectful. Other employees are nice though. Will not return to this establishment. Id highly recommend going to one of the thousand other gun stores in the city.

I love the staff here, they are always friendly and dont seem to mind answering nerdy questions that would piss off the sales associates at other places (i.e. muzzle velocity or advertised ft/lbs energy of a particular box of ammo if its not written on the box). The ammo selection is very good and they carry many less-common calibers that many other gun stores do not stock. The prices here arent (understandably) as good as online retailers but are very fair compared to other retail shops. There are other shops much closer to where I live that I could go to, but I always go here to get ammunition primarily to support a good small business, and secondarily for their good selection, pleasant staff, and fair prices. They also sell shotguns, rifles, and handguns, but I havent bought any firearms here yet so I cant speak on their firearm selection or pricing, but if youre looking for a place to purchase ammo or extra magazines I would highly recommend this place.

Outstanding experience. As soon as they were open there were at least a dozen customers. Tons of magazines at great prices. Huge ammo selection and a wide variety of firearms. Everyone seemed happy to assist with any questions.

Yesterday I got a very good deal on 1000 rounds of .223. Now that Ive found a great local ammo supply I plan to shoot my black rifle a lot more.

Great place great prices but I wish they would open longer than bankers hours so I could pick up rounds after work. being open from 8 - 5 when most people are just getting off at 5-6 is kind of pointless. Id imagine from 5-7 you get more customers than you would from 8-10 on a weekday

Placed an order for 2 magazines on 4/1/19, I only got a transaction notification with no order number. First time I called sales said my order would be shipped, 2 days later called and was told supplier ran out, 4/8/19 called to at least get an order number, nobody available at sales phone number. I would not use this company again, I just want my order or my money back.UPDATE:Ventura munitions was basically victimized by a change in Californias berserk gun laws. Ventura munitions returned my shipping fees and shipped me 2 magpul magazines. Next time I will just drive out there Mike, and thanks.Tom

Friendly and helpful. Bought some 338 Lapua with some targets. Small store but they a lot of selection. It was busy when we went but still had fast service!

Small store when it comes to inventory compared to big chains. But they are able to get their hands on just about anything gun or accessory Have ammo in stock and reasonably priced. Friendly and informative, most importantly honest! When asking questions about a few guns employee openly admitted to having limited personal experience with a gun. Which is nice instead of saying things just to make a sale.
