Had a quote from my USAA insurance, and with the deductible, I was going to pay more than what Affordable Auto Glass quoted, so I decided not to use my insurance. Not only he came down to Alamogordo to replace my windshield, it was 3 times cheaper than any other place in Alamogordo, El Paso and Las Cruces. Ray was very professional and the windshield replacement was very fast and the quality was better than original. Will recommend this company all day, and will be doing business here for now on!

Shady business. They had a competitors website listed for a while to help them rank higher in the search results. It was finally removed, but I wouldn’t trust or support a business that operates like they do.

Best price and service in town! Seriously >75% cheaper than everyone else. $169 is way cheaper than $400. Took them the next day to find my type of windshield and replaced it within hours. Same day replacement and picked up my car in one piece. Coins not stolen. Vacuumed my dirty car free of charge too. They deserve an award.I wholeheartedly support this local mom and pop shop. They let me borrow one of their trucks to drive while my windshield was being repaired.I personally come from Miami, FL. So my car of 10 years is not used to this dry heat. This is my first time having to replace my windshield. Darn rock making my starburst crack, which turned into a cancerous giant crack after another, spreading gradually everyday. So within weeks I was afraid my windshield might give way. Luckily I found these guys who did an awesome job! Thank you Ray!

We called for an appointment to have them come out and fix a rock chip. They said theyd come out the next am. The next morning they called, said they were on their way but never showed. Called back after 45 minutes and they said that they dont come out and that wed have to go there. They were very rude when we called back to cancel. I will definitely refer safelite auto repair over affordable.

We had a cracked windshield and asked Ray to replace it. When I picked up my car, it had no weather stripping around the windshield! Instead, theyd tucked the old cracked weather stripping loose under the plastic molding. It cost me another $200 to order the weather stripping from the dealer, and then get it installed at a trustworthy auto glass shop . Ray NEVER mentioned they dont install weather stripping---- said it was my fault for not asking!. Unless you want to go to three different places, dont waste your time on Rays Affordable Glass.

Needed to get the windshield replaced on my 2013 hyundai elantra. Ray the owner was exceptional to deal with as well as prompt and courteous. I called Monday and he was able to replace it first thing Tuesday morning. To top it off it only took an hour and my windshield looked better than when I drove it off the lot! Plus the price was great! Other shops wanted 2-3X what Ray charged. Affordable Auto Glass definitely is affordable with great customer service! I wouldnt hesitate to take my car back.

Had a cracked windshield replaced by him at a car dealership shortly after purchasing vehicle. Took back due to a howling noise that was not there prior to replacement. Was told it was fixed and the noise was due to the cowling being warped from the sun. Went back again today for the same problem and because he could not hear the sound, he said he had done his job. Service tech at dealership fixed problem, which we had figured out on day one. The cowl did not have sealant put under it upon installation of new windshield. This man will never, ever touch any of our vehicles again. He gave us the impression that he was mad two women called him out. Dont waste your time or money! I would give minus 50 stars if I had the option.

The owner is very rude has no professional courtesy I paid for in advance was told I was one of the first cars on his schedule and instead of owning up to it he blames his secretary I’m sorry but if somebody owns a company and something goes wrong I feel as an owner you take responsibility for it I try to get clarification over the phone Will was going to continue and happen with my car stayed silent and then hung up on me keep in mind he already has my money and now he’s telling me that he’s going to take 25% for the glass and then come pick up my car hasn’t even touched it if you’re looking for a good shot this is not the one how are you going to try to charge somebody 25% when u have not done anything to your car
