First time I was in this Ace but its definitely not my last. They have everything! Staff was friendly and very helpful. Also won a bet against my husband as he said there was no way they had a capacitor for the pool pump motor!! Thanks Ace!!

I had a great experience here. I dont give out 5 star reviews very often, but this Ace Hardware has everything I need. Great selection, well organized, very friendly and knowledgeable staff, and excellent prices. I will be coming back every time I need to do a DIY projects.

Great store. Only ace that carry dime tip carving bRs and chains and the special sprocket. It also the only store in Pinellas county that does that im aware of. As im a chainsaw sculptor. Photo added shows what i use these for.

Ace is very helpful when I visited about three weeks ago. They helped me to diagnose which part of my hot water tank which needed fixing. Felt accomplished as I was enabled!

Working on a special watering system for my garden. They had everything I needed! The staff is VERY helpful, you dont have to wander around to find them if you have a question, they find you! Excellent service and reasonable prices.

Tried to have my camper propane tanks filled and the man refused to fill them. Said they didn’t have an “E” stamped on them, whatever that means. My tanks have the modern style triangle valve handle. He didn’t offer me a solution (a different tank or replacement), just simply wouldn’t fill it. I consider the lack of trying to solve a customers problem very poor customer service. Sad thing is, I went there because it is an ace and they are usually helpful stores; I wanted my wife to have a place to go when I wasn’t able to do it. So instead I’ll go back to the other place to have it filled. And I will research the rules on my on my own to figure out if the man was correct and I need to refurbish my tank or at least arm myself with the information in case I encounter another unwilling/unknowledgeable propane dealer.

Wonderful people to deal with. I had my vehicle key cut for a fraction of the price on what locksmiths charge. I wont even talk about dealers.

Wowzer! I needed 2 unusual small screws and Tony found them in a flash! He was super duper helpful and friendly! Ill definitely be back! These people know their stuff.

I have been a Home Improvement warehouse shopper my whole life, but after the first time I visited this store I was hooked.The moment I enter the store, there is an associate there to greet me and guide me through my project. They steer me toward the products that will give the best results and not the most expensive. I have probably saved over $500 just in my last 3 visits. I came here for a Propane tank and fill. Just like that I was done and it was loaded in my van.

Dont expect any help or good customer service from this place! I needed a new inner tube for a stroller, so I phoned first. The guy on the phone said they had the inner tube and that he could give me instructions on how to install it, but wouldnt be able to do it for me. He said that if I did it at the store, he would fill it with air for me. I fully understood, it is a busy time right now, and I was grateful that he would just tell me what to do and then pump the air in once I had done it. When I arrived at the store 3 minutes later, a lady helped me, and she was rude and said that the guy would not be able to tell me how to do it or put air in it for me. She basically did not care that I needed help and acted like I was just an annoyance. I will not be back here and will not recommend this store to anyone.

This is the only hardware store in this area of Pinellas County in which I feel very at ease. Staff is very personally helpful, but not demeaning in any way nor are they pushy. In the huge hardware stores, staff is rarely around to help, or when they do they seem distracted. In addition, the stores themselves are so overwhelming by their sheer size.

I like this place. Repairs on your equipment pricey.Been going to this store for 11 years and never gone past the 2nd isle.Store people are on you so fast, that I think you have to get permission to go past isle 2.Have no idea whats in the rest of this store. Most likely never will.

In the parking lot at 5:25. Get out of the truck to walk in and lady opens the door like shes waiting for me and yells were closed as she slams the door. They close at 6:00. If you want to close at 5:25, thats fine post it on the door. Home depot is another few blocks, just fo there. I thought Ace was a small store that cared but apparently they just care about going home.

This is a single story, no need for elevator... The store carries a remarkable amount of hardware considering its size. I go here before the big box stores because the service is the best. You wont buy the wrong part and have to take it back. They are REALLY helpful. They have just about anything you would need. Ive never been disappointed.

Dont go here for stihl parts. Only 1 person can look up the lady says and he is off ok Ill just drive another 20 miles thanks

This ACE has the most honest group of people. Theyll straight up tell you if you dont need to buy something redundant & make sure you have the things you do need for projects. Plus the puppies are fabulous!

I have been in here a few times, and there is always multiple people willing to help you. And even better, everyone is nice to you there. I love how some places around here feel that they are entitled to give attitude to their customers, well this is not one of those places. It is not the largest or newest ace hardware, but they have everything you need, and treat all of their customers just how they should be treated.

This place has EXCEPTIONAL customer service! I was in here today with my mom and as soon as we walked in the door..we got noticed. Friendly..funny..charismatic knowledgable..and even the staff looked happy. Clean and organized.They dont let you wander around aimlessly looking for help. That is a BIG thing now a days.

This place is great, they actually have parts to fix things as opposed to expecting you to replace things. Ive gotten two pump capacitors here, one for a well pump and another for a pool pump.I had a capacitor go on a pool pump I got from the smiley face web store after 1 yr and 11mos. It was nice to know where to get one locally as opposed to waiting days for a replacement in the summer (which means a green pool). Staff was helpful.

Went in for an advertised clearance item and it was marked full price. Was told if I could show the sale price in an advertisement or online it would be honored BUT once the manager got involved she refused to honor the clearance price. Told me theyd lose too much money and to buy it online.Online was out of stock/find in store only, once I selected her store it showed inventory for in store pick up. I added the other colors to my order ( I was buying Halloween lights), but mid add the inventory was suddenly not available and so was the first color now.Im convinced she went into her availability and made it not available as I was still standing outside to place my order.The lady manager was rude and Im sorry she felt keeping the few lights on clearance was such a big deal to keep selling at full price over losing a customer was her priority for customer service.

Quick friendly service

I called on the phone to see about getting a mower blade sharpened and buying another blade. Said cmon down. I came down about 2 hours later. Walked in the door, a fellow immediately walked up to me and said, You the fellow that called? Walked me over to the blade and rang me up. Place was mildly busy, too. Floored by such service in todays day and age. For that kind of service, I would pay extra and make the drive. WOW!

I really like this ace. It has the feel of an old school hardware store... Not a home improvement store; a la Lowes & HD. They have a lot of obscure and hard to find items. I needed a 10mm tap with an odd thread pitch (So odd that I even had a hard time finding it online.), and they were the only local place that had it. (I didnt check Grainger though.)

I go to this Ace because I get great service and the prices are really good. The employees go out of their way to help you. Ive been there at least 20 times in the last 3 months. This is a family owned business (american), and they carry more stuff than most places. If you need it, they have it, or they can order it. If you need swimming pool stuff, they have it, and they beat everyones prices.
