This place is amazing! It has everything and anything. I have been here twice now and I think this is going to become an addiction. They have a great gift selection as well as everything hardware item imaginable. They even gift wrap for free. The sale staff is so helpful and fun. They are also very knowledgeable on the hardware end. When you need a gift to miss this place they have a huge selection. They also have sporting goods, and clothing. I bought pet supplies too.

This is a large well stocked, nicely laid out Ace. It has a garden section in the rear of the store. They have some unusual crotons, nice size bushes and the normal variety of plants. But, some plants were outrageously priced. Be aware...you cannot determine the root system on twigs unless you pull it out of the pot.

Went to Sunshine Ace to buy a new grill. As I was walking thru store I was asked if I needed assistance by an Ace associate named Berger. He was very helpful in getting me to the right place and although it wasnt his department of specialty he went out of his way to make sure all my questions were answered as the person in department was busy with reset. Once I finalize my items for purchase he loaded everything up and delivered to cashier and put into my vehicle. I found the personal touch most satisfying which is something you dont really get at the big home improvement stores. Thank you Ace and Berger.

The place was a bit disorganized but this was probably due to the fact that they appeared to be remodeling. I have been there several times, although its been a couple of years, and it was always a fun place to shop. Its more than a hardware store. They have kitchen items, decorative items, gift items, two aisles of nothing but little drawers containing every size and type of bolt, washers, nuts, screws, and every ok there think you could possibly need along those lines. The store is very large and stocks some unusual items that other similar stores may not carry. Also, staff is friendly and helpful.

Why would you totally change the feel of a store that soooo many loved, it makes no sense what you’ve done, …other than confuse your loyal patrons, I could see if it made sense and had a better flow…but you’ve taken a store that was very successful and changed everything about it….i know most don’t like change,…but I’m ok with change …if it makes something better from a visual or functional sense! …but this just looks like someone wanted it to look different ….very sad!…this was a store I went to several times a week and to be honest with you, it just looks like another ace hardware store, what was special about it is gone…I will go to Lowe’s…and other coastal stores.

Ace Hardware stores are always great. Theyve got a little and sometimes a lot of everything. The staff is often more helpful than big box stores.

Instead of the Lowes and Home Depot try Sunshine Ace Hardware. Great gift area and fishing supplies along with the usual hardware store products. You dont have to walk for miles to get what you need!!

If you want great service and NO long wait at a crowded big box store THIS is your hardware and more store! Handicapped parking at the door as well as call in and pick up! I love just browsing... Although I do always find something I probably DONT need but want!! Friendly people, and very helpful!

I was very disappointed it 20 minutes to check out. With only 4 people in line. Its a hardware store thats trying to become a department store for crafts or something. But they should learn how to do sale items, or have a manager come to the cash register when some one is buying a lot of sale items.....

Always a great experience at this store! The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Much easier to find help than the big box hardware stores.

This place is filled with so many beautiful things for your home and yard! Staff is very friendly and helpful. I could spend all day (and lots of money) here. Prices are reasonable too.

The best thing about Ace hardware compared to Lowes or home Depot is there are people that actually help you. I can always find someone and ask them a question. They will go out of their way to make sure you are taken care of. Unfortunately home Depot or Lowes, I think their main job is to hide from you. So if you need to purchase something, that you might have a question about, this is the place to go.

Great store, but closing down at 7 pm should be reconsidered by management.. I could barely make it in time today and manager was kicking me out right at 7..

Ace Hardware is a treat vs some if the other big box stores; their variety is much wider.

They have a fine selection on springs, nuts, and bolts.

This is the largest hardware store evuh! I could have spent hours there... So many cool and neat things to see... way more than just hardware. They delivered a shed to my home about two weeks ago too. They, haha. It was One young man who delivered it all by himself with no issues. Very pleased with it. And then, just last week, I visited there looking for flower pots and plants. and Organic Soil.. Found everything I was looking for. 😍 Pretty helpful associates too . Cant wait to go back and explore some more!

Extremely helpful. Expected to spend 45 minutes looking around the store. Someone helped me as soon as I walked in. I gave him my list and he basically did the shopping for me. 11/10 expirence

Surprisingly slow for a Saturday afternoon. Found everything I needed to complete my painting project.

I have gone here for years. I found stuff there that I could not find online or anywhere. Love the decor and gift shop area too. Last time I had 3 sets of keys made because I never had a problem. Got home 2 of the 3 sets did not work.The one set that worked is a small key that most places do not carry(major score). Went back for re-do and keys fit perfect in locks when I got home.

Has many items for all types home projects. Lots of employees if you have questions or need help. Excellent. Bought two American made dehumidifiers. Love this store!!

This store has something for everyone. Not only do they sell hardware for even professionals in construction, but they have a section for home decor and a childrens section.

This is the best place to buy all your painting needs and household items I would rather drive a few more miles to Sunshine Ace Hardware store than to go to other stores near me. Great attitude and courtesy employees. Very clean and requires face mask.

Nice place its not your topical hardware

This is one of if not the best ACE Ive ever been in! Lots of inventory, tools, hardware, fishing, Yeti, tools, gardening, grills, everything you could ever want under one roof. Lots of help, friendly and knowledgeable. Even a party of the store has lots of women things for designing your home and garden. Fantastic!

I am a firm believer in supporting local businesses! 5 years living in Florida and Hammerheads never disappoints. From outdoor gardening supplies, keys made, little parts in hardware, painting supplies and your fabulous gift shop, I have shopped it all. My go to place for gifts for all occasions. I even bring my friends in who come down to visit. The staff is the best! Friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Keep up the good work 👍

Love this store! Anything and everything

Nice store; expensive but I can understand why. Clean and they have everything. But they are RUDE. Over 2 1/2 yrs Ive been there about 10 times. Im done. There are too many other places to shop without feeling unwelcomed. Hasta la vista Sunshine Hardware.

I had problems finding help. Once someone came he told me that he didnt have what I needed. I found it myself. I really like this place because they have more than a regular store has. Its my go to place for specialty items.

Wonderful gift store

Excellent blend of the old-fashioned place where you can get nails by the pound or a local artists latest with a modern distributor of quality tools and cleaning supplies. In fact, one of the broadest selections of cleaning supplies that I can recall seeing.

The biggest Ace Hardware Ive seen, and they mustve had their people spread out because I had to ask two times to get assistance........Ouch!

I went to get propane, the lady at the check out counter was pleasant and friendly. However, the guy who got me the propane was rude, non carrying person.

Very high prices. Personal protection items have sky high prices. Employees are very friendly but rarely offer help unless tracked down and asked. Im seeing many smaller differences between Ace and Lowes/Home Depot and, for paint it general supplies, Walmart still has the best price, if you can find hello. Unless Im already at Walmart, Ill drive the extra mile to Lowes or Home Depot. With a wider selection and someone at or near the paint counter and other departments, the smaller hardware stores are reducing their one advantage over the big box stores: customer service. Ive been in this store periodically for 2 years and no one has ever asked if they can help me. Im happy to pay the higher prices but only if Im getting the service such high prices should be offering.

Friendly staff but does not appear to listen to the needs of their customers. Asked specifically if they fill propane bottles and clarifying still received incorrect information...wasted trip. BTW, they do NOT fill propane tanks, only exchange them.

Best Hardware store in the area. The measure of a good hardware store is them having what you need. They have never failed to have what Im looking for. Last thing was small stainless steel coil springs I needed to fix some door latches on my boat. Be back tomorrow looking for something else, Im sure.

Nice store well stocked with supplies most other stores are out of. Prices are a little pricey but not outrageous.

What a great place!

This hardware store is a cornerstone to downtown Largo. Established in the late 50s, they have a wide range of home improvement, decor, hardware, outdoor and pool supplies. They will more than likely have the hard-to-find parts and items that the other hw chains no longer carry. The staff is readily available and knowledgeable; have always been professional and polite. Plenty of parking and easy egress to their parking from West Bay or the side street to the east side of the building. Fun place to shop.

The employees are always helpful. They always have what I am looking for as well.

I was floored when I walked in the door and saw how big this store is. I happened to be in that area and ran in for a quick errand to pick up some oil for my trimmer. Wish Id had more time to mosey around. I cant believe what a great inventory this store has. Everything from home decor to furnishings to hardware to lawn and garden and more. Plus sales people available to help with questions. I wish it was closer to where I live because Id love to make it my go to hardware store

Pretty darn good experience. Staff was helpful, the rewards program is good and the selection of tools and materials was better than expected.

Were snowbirds and I love coming to your store with my husband. Its not your average hardware store that makes coming back a must. He shops for his items and I mosey thru your beautiful gift shop and find such unique things that we dont find elsewhere for ourselves, & family and friends.

Good staff and product stocked. It feels like a hometown place to shop for modern things. They also have a shop that carries all sorts of cool stuff to decorate the house and lawn.

Do not go here for auto key duplicating service. Brought in 2 simple key blanks that I wanted cut. The guy cutting the keys did not align them correctly and ruined my 2 blanks. So now Im out $5 for key cutting, and $30 for two new Toyota blanks. Luckily... I took my two new blanks to Largo Locksmith who not only cut them right the first time, but didnt even charge me to cut them. If you need auto key services, skip this place and go straight to Largo Locksmith.
