I just moved to florida from California. I found this place on google with good reviews and gave them a shot. they did a great job on my 2017 honda civic and the service was very fast. will be back for more service and recommend west coast auto center.

I have used this shop many times in the past and will continue to do so in the future. Have used them from everything for a simple oil change, to a complete engine replacement. The staff is courteous and professional. The up-front pricing is fare and explained, with no pressure to up sale you. The owner (Richard) is always available to explain all repairs that are “NEEDED”. The family feel of a genuine family shop is always a welcomed experience. The best part is that when you leave you feel like you were treated like family. Richard will stand by his work till, you’re satisfied.

During our vacation trip to Florida from Wisconsin we had horrible car issues. West Coast Auto treated us like great! I was afraid that I was going to get an inflated price because we were from out of state. That was far from it. Price was fair and customer service was excellent!!!!

I always used them in the past,, always were very fair and pricing was good, top notch work. However, I find that now the pricing now is a bit up to high for me, and it lost that family atmosphere that I experienced and respected. It saddened me as I thought I had found my mechanic, recommended them to everyone, I will still use them when i can because the owner, and I think his daughter were always so nice. but, the pricing now seems to be out of the picture for me.

One of the best mechanic shops in town... IF NOT THE BEST! They are honestly so very professional and friendly with me and my family all the time! They make you feel like youre going to your cousin Vinnys shop! Highly recommend to anyone and everyone!

They did a really good Job on my van at the beginning of this month n now my van is like it came from the dealership

My mom recently took her car in but I booked the original appointment for her and I picked her car up. In the original appointment call, the gentleman I spoke with was super sweet, very accommodating and extremely professional. He made sure we got an appointment time that worked for everyone. When I went to pick up the car, all I told them was that I was there to pick up my moms car and before I could finish my sentence, the mechanic reached over and grabbed her keys, already knowing which car I was talking about. I was impressed with their customer service just in the brief moments I interacted with them. My mom said they had that same level of customer service the whole time! Keep up the great work, guys!

Greg was so awesome helping me today! I came in less than 30 minutes before close, on a Friday & Greg made sure I was taken care of! They were already closing up for the weekend & they put it all on hold for me! Wow, that made my day. What a blessing! Their prices are great, service is even better! I dont know whats with all the fake reviews, but Ive always been treated fairly at West Coast, rely on their accurate word when diagnosing issues, and take all of my company trucks there for service. Never had one bad experience. These guys are the best!

I went here thinking I needed a transmission only to find out I had a leak from a hose. They fixed the problem and I was on my way. Very honest people. I will definitely be going back there. Thank you guys

I took my car to West Bay Auto Center yesterday to have it looked at because I am leaving town for NC Saturday. I asked them to make sure it was drive-able and safe. They took my car apart (I was told they took it apart by their employee Richard) and put it back together and within three miles after leaving, all but one lugnut broke off my back tire. The shop refuses to acknowledge that they took it apart and they are refusing to do anything to help me cover the cost of the repair. They are claiming they didnt take it apart even though I was told to wait 30 minutes to pick it up so they could put it back together.This is very serious and I am so glad I wasnt on the highway as I could have been in a serious accident. Please dont use this company for your own good. I am not the vindictive type but I dont want anyone else to have this issue.Ive launched a complaint with the better business bureau but I want to warn my fellow Pinellas county residents!My car is now at Allens Alley, whom I trust very much, and he told me the prices they quoted me for other repairs were very unfair.

Ill admit that they addressed my initial problem but I didnt receive my car back in the same condition I gave it to them. The engine started making a whole new sound. When my uncle looked at it he told me that some nuts & bolts were still loos9 and my distributor cap was missing & he thinks theres something else missing too!

They did a great job on my ac and a great price too! Very nice people

Amazing place and friendly staff

I tried this place out for the first time last weekend. I got an oil change and new rear brakes. It was nice being greeted at my car instead of having to hunt someone down for service like all the other places Ive tried. I was greeted and helped by Billy who was pretty awesome. He was very polite and knowledgeable and didnt try to sell me on service and parts I didnt need. Being a female, I often feel taken advantage of but at West Coast, that definitely wasnt the case. I will use them regularly and send my family and friends there as well. I could have asked for better, friendlier service.

My car was repaired within a very reasonable time. Staff was friendly and very professional. Will definitely be going back when needed!

Best mechanic shop in the bay!! We have a Honda and a BMW and I wouldn’t take them anywhere else for service. Always fair priced and honest! They get the work done promptly and make sure we understand the scope of work being done. I have also trusted them with my grandparents and Mother’s car when they needed service. I highly recommend this local shop. I won’t go anywhere else!

Fast work and all my parts replaced came with a 2yr warranty

This was my first time at West Coast Auto and I plan to return for future service. Everyone at the shop was friendly, informative, and thorough in their work. Though it was a busy time of day, Billy (the manager) was especially kind throughout and happy to address my concerns. Prices were fair. Be sure to check their promotion page on the website - I saved $15 on much needed air and cabin air filters!

I have found my new mechanics! As a single non motorhead woman. I was looking for a place who will take care of my jeep. I have found it. I feel confident that they will do a good job and not overcharge me. I took my jeep in to have it looked over before i purchased it- because i was an existing client- they didnt charge me. Plus they are friendly. The place is clean too.

I was referred by a friend. Great service and fast. They were able to get my car in the same day. Originally they told me the part would take a day, but fortunately they were able to get it done same day. Seems family owned, which is nice to give locals business. GO HERE YOU WONT REGRET IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Knowledgeable about my car and they could have made more money off me with extra work but chose not to and were honest about it that I didnt need it done (even though the dealerships said I did). Great guys totally recommend them to anyone I know. Great prices, they didnt charge me for some services (like fuse + help on locks) - got a oil change and tires for cheaper than a oil place and cheaper than a tire place.

It is not always easy trying to find a reputable and reliable company that wont take advantage of the fact you are a woman and do not know anything about cars. After horrible experiences with Tire Kingdom and other auto shops for various repairs and maintenance I just want to thank you so much for providing great service for me! I now have a place I can take all our vehicles.

I had been having overheating issues with other mechanics. I noticed on google west coast had good reviews. Bill was very friendly and helpful my car was in and out in just 2 hours. The service was very professional, very affordable and definitely be my service shop from now on.

Got an oil change. Quick and easy. Got me in an hour after I called and was ready an hour later. They checked a few other minor things at no charge, but I opted not to get them fixed at the time since they werent going to affect my truck immediately. All in all a great experience and a super friendly staff. Will make this my only stop for future repairs and maintenance. Thank you guys!

This has been my go to repair shop but this recently changed! I gave them two stars for what I can tell the work was done correctly but at my wallets expence. People that are not mechanically inclined trust shops with our need for service but shame of those that take advantage of a good customer and over charge.

Took my BMW in for a coolant leak awhile back, fixed the issue for a fraction of what others were quoting, mainly because the other mechanics lied about what needed replacing but also because West Coast doesnt gouge you. Taking my Infiniti in now for breaks. Best quote I got around town, using premium/performance parts.

Way overpriced had to hurry and get vehicle fixed so i didnt do research before going there bad mistake more then twice the cost of other quotes i recieved after getting it fixed big guy in office is rude and doesnt make you feel welcome at all do research there is a better shop 2 min away

2008 Santa Fe alternator hard to get to, job well done dropped off before noon was ready 4:30pm, recommend to you, see Bill.

My transmission was slipping, and every other place I took it to, basically lied to me, except for West Coast. They charged me a reasonable price for the work that was done. I am not taking my car anywhere else!

Was charged for repairs that still do not work properly and after paid bill was told that I needed addition parts replaced. This was not pointed out when I asked list of needed repairs or when I asked if repairs complete.

Just very good people. 25 bucks for the oil change. Found my oil leak and fixed it for 50 bucks. Not sure how I could beat that.
