I recently bought a 2011 Mercedes and developed a starting problem. I have worked on cars all my life, but have never owned such a sophisticated machine. I did not know where to go and saw Total on the mapping program. Mike looked at it, diagnosed, called me with his opinion, and fixed it. He did a total factory scan and advised me of possible future issues. I am thankful I stumbled upon this gem. Go there. You wont be disappointed.

He is the best mechanic and good man

I own a 2013 Mini Cooper s I am into modifying and maintaining to the highest spec. Having brought it to another shop farther north I was unhappy with their ability to diagnose and repair the vehicle. I was basically a victim of the throw parts at it attitude. Total German Performance was like a light in a dark tunnel. Andre and Mike are extremely professional and knowledgeable in their field. They have all of the current technology systems diagnosis tools and the only thing I can think of that they don’t have is the ability to do an alignment. Overall, I am extremely happy with the work performed on my mini thus far and will be taking the car to them and them only for the foreseeable future. They have installed an upgraded turbo and tuned the car along with checking many other oem components on the car for premature failure.All around a fantastic shop and I would recommend them to anyone I know with a European vehicle.

Brought my 1990 e30 in for a timing belt change and they flagged a couple of other items. Tackled them in a professional manner without the normal pressure you get from dealer and other shops. Exceptional communication and knowledge of cars.

Andre and his guys are simply the best. Had our car at a VERY WELL KNOWN shop in Sarasota who had it for over three weeks and couldnt diagnose and electrical problem. I found TPG on the internet, put the car on a flatbed and sent it up. Within 2 hours they had identified the problem and fixed something that two other shops (highly regarded ones) couldnt. I will NEVER send a German car anywhere other than to these guys. It was simply the best. A car that we were going to sell, weve now enjoyed driving again. Because of these guys. Thanks Andre.

Excellent experience - the shop space itself is pristine and well-organized and the staff is particularly knowledgeable and friendly. I asked them to help troubleshoot an issue with the keys on my C230 and they were able to get me in same day and diagnosed the problem immediately. Couldnt ask for better service - Ill certainly be back.

I am not a gear head or mechanic. I am just a lover of fine German autos and the owner of a ‘15 Audi S8 and a ‘04 BMW E-46 ZHP with a need for a good shop. There are dozens of neighborhood mechanics around the Largo/Seminole area and I’ve tried a few. Then I found Andre and his team at Total German Performance. YOU WILL LOVE THIS PLACE!The shop is tucked in and behind an industrial building off Starkey Rd. It is totally secure and fenced in. The shop is clean. The guys are honest and know their craft. I’ve had both my cars worked on already. I finally got Akebono ceramic pads on all four corners for my E46. What a difference! Clean wheels for a change. Also had a set of under drive pulleys and a tune performed. The S8 finally needed a new battery. Andre got it replaced correctly. The difference at Total German Performance is that these guys are not alley mechanics trying to squeeze a buck out of every customer. They listen to what you need, they are sensible with their diagnosis. And they get the job done CORRECTLY. Was thinking about a V8 M3 and now when I find the right one to purchase, I know I have a clean, local shop that can work on it and not rip me off. HIGHLY RECOMMEND ANDRE AND TOTAL GERMAN PERFORMANCE.
