Ordered a replacement carburetor (Rochester Quadrajet) for my Mercruiser 5.7 on Monday. Saturday arrived at my house. Sunday morning removed the old one and slapped this one on. I pumped the throttle twice, barely turned the key, engine fired right up. Had to do some minor adjustments on the throttle cable and idle screw but other than that, perfect. It is nice to deal with a company that is true to their word. I highly recommend this company.

I would give this place zero stars if possible. I paid a total of $363.37 for a rebuilt carburetor that didnt work AT ALL and they only refunded me $68.00. They kept $295.37 for something that never worked and was JUNK!!! Even after the shipping and ridiculous restocking fee and any so called fuel damage it still doesnt justify keeping all that money for something that was total JUNK!!!! WHAT A BIG SCAM TO RIP PEOPLE OFF!!!!!

Sent in carburetor red in color matches the engine in my boat got it back it was black ok second no fuel filter sent back with it and 3 rd the gasket sent back with it was ripped. To top it all off I gotta deal with a smart mouth on the phone . Go elsewhere for your carburetor rebuilds.

There was no, let me transfer you... The guy who answered the phone was the only person i needed to talk to. I removed my old one, took it to them, and they handed me an exact duplicate, tuned to OPM specifications.The specialized repair of carburetors might be a dying art form, but not here! I ordered a carburetor for my 18 year old boat. I received it on time, and installed it. Just like they claim, it was perfectly adjusted and worked great. A month later, just two weeks before Labor Day, when we had planned a family boating holiday weekend, the boat wouldn’t start. It turned out it was flooded. I knew the carburetor was guaranteed, so I called guaranteed and explained the situation. I was given a return authorization and shipped it back. Five days later (tracking showed they had it only two days) I received a call saying it was fixed, but I needed to replace the fuel/water separator as the problem was debris in the carburetor. I actually didn’t have a fuel/water separator, so I CREATED THE PROBLEM . Guaranteed could have refused the warranty claim, but they repaired it and shipped it back to me in time for Labor Day at no cost! I DID install a fuel/water separator, and the boat has functioned perfectly several different times since.I greatly appreciate the prompt, excellent service Guaranteed provided me.

Fantastic Job. Had a local company try and rebuild my 2100 Motorcraft and they returned it with a broken part! I`m in the racing engine business in Baton Rouge, Louisiana so I deal with carbs & fuel injection all the time. My dad has a 1979 Ford Bronco that he bought new. He just turned 75 and for his birthday he wanted nothing more than to be able to take it for a Sunday drive so several months ago i started trying to resurrect the old beast. It had been sitting up in the barn for several years. Needless to say the carb & fuel system was toast so after ordering a new tank...new pump & lines i purchased 3 different remaned 2 barrel carbs from my local parts stores and to my disappointment none of them worked properly or even idle. I heard about Guaranteed Carbs from a friend so i gave them a call. They were very knowledgeable and seemed genuinely concerned that i got the right carb for my application. I recieved the carb a few days later & took it out of the box and installed it. The old bronco cranked right up...idled perfectly and drove even better. The electric choke even worked flawlessly. Carb arrived yesterday: on today. Easy 4 bolts and some linkage. Fuel line was a bit painful. But it runs like a top and purrs like a kitten! Rochester Quadrajet on 5.7 V8 Merc 260 Thunderbolt IV. Engine is 36 years old and runs like a factory new machine. Old carb was leaking bad, so I am good for another 36 years. Good luck with the core I am sending back. The company asks for the carb number and makes SURE you get exactly what you need. No guessing games - fill in the web form completely and no problems. The only adjustment I made to the carb was idle screw about 1/2 turn to get 750RPM.

Sent me a warped carb so the choke never worked right then sent me the only other one they had twice. 4 times returning with explaining what was wrong. The worst company i have ever dealt with. Ordered a rebuilt carb for my 1980 jeep. Installed and cranked up great, called to double check a few adjustments, they were good commenting on it. only down side is that you pay for shipping back and forth but, its 2 day and they allow 3 weeks to return and work scheduled me for 2 weeks straight so I couldnt install for 2 weeks! I recommend!

I would highly recommend Guaranteed Carburetors. The price was very fair and they are very willing to work with any issues you may have. They sent me a carb that just wouldnt tune right when it was installed, which can happen. However, when I called, they apologized and sent another one without question. This one works perfect without any kind of adjustment.

I sent my carb in for repair. When I got back, it was flooding immediately so I sent it back in for repair and sent my kick down solenoid in wth the carb and they did not send the solenoid back. So basically, you are better off purchasing a new carb instead of having them repair one for you.

Purchased first carb with warranty nonprno..out of the box perfect car ran great...ab about one year later, it needed to be fixrd so I called them, and no issues..cost me shipping but thats cheap for good service.but the next time I had a problem.no reply....left voicemail twice and numerous emails..no response..I purchased another carb after waiting for a a while... Maybe its global warming, lol. Maybe I just was missed...I guess the transfer warranty is no good either.... To bad...🤔

Carb looked very nice when it arrived, very clean etc. At first it ran great, however intermittently it will not idle properly, it seems to be going very rich, and if I stomp on the accelerator a few times it will clear and idle fine, sometimes for a very long time, but then again later it will load up and die. I have found that the idle mixture screws do nothing, and in fact they are only open 1/2 turn currently and Im running mostly on main jets at idle to try to keep it from loading up, but obiously there is something sticking inside. I emailed GC, but never got anything back from them, besides I cant ship it back since then I would not have anything to drive.Update: installed an electric fuel pump and an inline pressure regulator, readjusted the idle mixture screws and now it seems to be running properly, after a year or so now of running I have discovered that my whole problem from the very beginning was fuel supply, not a carb problem at all, I really like this carb it works great, and Im ordering another one for my other K10, so I am revising my rating to 4 stars. Still not happy that they never replied to my email effort, but I like the carb and price enough to buy another one.

Paid 400 dollars for carb. week later they call me and tell me that they will not do my purchase because I dont have a carb. Nowhere on their site does it state that they will not sell you an item if you dont have a replacement item. Terrible customer service, very rude, and just cost my family a weekend of boating which we only get a couple times a year.
