A true, Lancaster treasure!!! Vegetarian/vegan friendly - Thank you so much for offering Beyond Sausage! Even a vegan scramble. Flavorful, fresh and professional, friendly service. I must say, we will definitely be back!! Oh, and bring vodka or rum for their amazing cocktails (the Common Mary is anything but common - wow!!)

We’ve been here a handful of times, food is okay. We’ve had both vegan and non vegan options. Veggie bowls were lacking flavor, pancakes are good, breakfast sandwich was good. Presentation could be better for the pricing. Service was okay, depending on server. Recently ordered a latte, and it was served with none of the 3 toppings listed, miscommunication occurred when ordering… and was still charged full price.

The service was great and food was awesome. I got the pork belly and grits with eggs with a Nutella smoothie and everything came out quick and was yummy.

Our first visit in this location, we visited when they were back on Queen as well. Gave them a second chance, but ran into the same problem. Overpriced and underwhelming. I paid 13.50 for a biscuit, two eggs and some sauce. A chorizo sauce, which by its name should have had some kick to it. The sauce had no spice and even less meat, hardly any at all. Eggs were cooked well sunny side up and biscuit was okay. If you want unersasomed food, this is the place. Coffee cakes were good and my wife mostly enjoyed the vegan dish, but still same issue of blandness. We didnt even get anything to stir the coffee creamer with. Nice waiters, and small seating area.

Was excited to try the vegan hash, but there was zero seasoning... including salt. No salt or pepper on the table, which is pretty standard (ketchup too, if youre serving breakfast). Kind of bad practice to offer refills on plain coffee without letting us know it was $2.50 (for an 8oz cup). Im guessing the menu states that, but I dont think most people would think to look if theyre just getting coffee (from a breakfast place that obviously has it). The place is cute but we wont be back, sorry.

We went for brunch on a Saturday. Their selection of specialty coffee and tea drinks on their menu were all yummy. We highly recommend (tea) Lancaster Fog, and (coffee) salted Maple Latte. Two of our party had the chorizo biscuit with gravy with a poached egg, which they both said was excellent. Another of our party had the Eggs Benedict with Salmon, which they said was amazing. I had the plain Jane waffle with a side of bacon and a side of scrambled eggs. The syrup was local maple syrup, and the eggs were seasoned perfectly. I enjoyed everything immensely. One of our party me.ebers decided to opt for one of their cinnamon rolls for dessert, and the pastry looked luscious as it was covered with a mixture of cream cheese and sweetened sour cream. The service was excellent, and our server was kind and attentive. We will definitely become regulars at this establishment. 5 stars plus!!

Cozy spot with a broad menu of GREAT breakfast and lunch eats! (Def gotta try the pancake!). I love how its nestled right in a neat-o little neighborhood, which makes the outdoor seating even better. Careful though- you may just run into a friend!

This is a wonderful local option for breakfast and cafe beverages. Its most similar comparable in terms of range of breakfast options in a cozy cafe atmosphere in Lancaster might be The Bakers Table which has more ambiance and some of the best baked goods in Lancaster. But, Commonwealth is solid and very popular in the West End neighborhood. At times, the staff appear overwhelmed. We arrived one morning (though it was 5th of July) and were gruffly told they were not seating any more customers that day. It wont keep us from ordering from there again in the future, but basically only immediately when they open before the crowds come.

Great location with a full kitchen producing really, really satisfying meals at reasonable price. I.e. very, very high value. Waitstaff and manager friendly, smart people…the reason it is so good. Absolutely make it part of your return to eating out in Lancaster.

The food i got was good but the small menu was hard to choose from because they have so many dishes with so many additions added to simple items. The service was a mixed bag. It was quick and professional but we had to ask for simple things like napkins, silverware, and glasses of water. Though they were able to help with a few requests that the digital menu was not set up for. I would like to see an expanded menu here that makes it easier to get what you want if they are going to tout contactless service.

We are obsessed with this place. They have amazing coffee and food and it’s so reasonable for such high quality ingredients. If you’re vegetarian or vegan, it’s the place for brunch in Lancaster. We’ve told so many people about it and even our friends who don’t eat cleaner enjoy it!! You must try it out.

As im sitting here right now this place is nasty. The eggs were overcooked. Potatoes were dry and didnt offer no ketchup salt nothing. My boyfriends shaka whatever ifk but his eggs were nasty the anaconda had no flavor. I wouldnt recommend this to nobody. And to top it off they sat us down and said we had to move because they had a reservation and tried to sit us on the side of the restaurant and I know its because we are black. Nobody came the whole time. So couldnt we sit there. No spices or nothing. And not friendly.

Weve been going every weekend since they opened on Pearl Street and have never had a dish that didnt leave us wanting more. I mean, seriously. And now that they opened again, we couldnt be happier!! Even their contactless ordering was easy. The servers are always friendly and the food is always AMAZING! Personal favorites are any specials, their weekly hash, and basically every Supper Club meal ever. 10/10 go here. You wont be disappointed 😁

Its one thing to have an amazing brunch menu, but its another thing when the staff is kind and welcoming. I would specifically like to highlight Andrea, the very first time my daughter and I went she welcomed us and was so excited to have us there, and the second time I brought my husband she welcomes us again just like the first! So kind and passionate about her place of work. Quality staff is hard to come by, I know this by being in the service industry for 6 years! It is hard to have that kind of enthusiasm and kindness all the time. Its such a hidden gem, the place and the people!

My wife, toddler, and I went here based on the irresistible photos they post on Facebook this morning. (Btw, big ups for having high chairs, not all small cafes do). This place is fantastic. (Used to be the Pemberley Tea Shop) With a drastic renovation they now have fresh and delicious breakfast options in an inviting atmosphere. Very minimal, clean, local artwork from L. Lee. It was quiet inside, friendly staff, great coffee, excellent breakfast. We ordered the Tex Mex with Sriracha, the Big Ol Breakfast Sandwich, and the Spinach/Feta Tart (topped with a gooey egg). The Tex Mex was very tasty and the Sriracha cleared our wintry sinuses. The sandwich was excellent with fantastic bread - a must have. Finally, the tart was very good, nice and flaky, and who doesnt love a gooey egg on anything? We tried to leave without studying the sweets in the case but failed... Before we left we tried a vegan mocha donut with espresso glaze and a house-made cannoli pop-tart. We left very impressed and satisfied. Great prices too for the quality of the crafted food and quality of the ingredients.Alice is great, always remembers peanut butter for my son.Definitely coming back soon.

I was excited for the cafe to open so close to my house but have been sadly disappointed both times i went. 1st experience my biscuit was hard as a rock. So i gave it a few weeks knowing staff was new.. this time i ordered the big b fast sandwich& regular,i asked to sub Turkey sausage for bacon (my husband doesnt eat pork) they didnt have it nor did they have the everything bagel i wanted. I only asked to sub the meat.. in turn i got 2 sandwiches with only bun egg&cheese. None if the other topping were on the big sandwich. I should have looked before i left. Hopefully my 3rd time will be a charm.

Disappointed. Disorganized inside, food was mediocre, food was cold, menu was different than what we were served, and presentation was poor. The worst part, mouse traps in the bathroom that’s RIGHT NEXT TO the kitchen. Disgusting. If I didn’t already order, I would have left. Would not recommend and will not return.
