I love the food here. i had the sweet potato wrap and it was phenomenal. i ascended after biting into it. great location, smack dab in downtown. the inside of the cafe was nice, modern, and clean.

I like it here- always have. Cold Brew on Tap and Nitro too. It was pretty full tonight so I opted for takeout, and went for a walk instead. Its well lit inside which makes it ideal for days that I cant focus on work at home. The food is really good but this time I just got coffee. The employees are always smiling so I imagine they like their job which is always a good thing! I was in and out in less than 10 minutes which made me happy.

Friendly staff! The coffee was great and the French toast looked amazing (did not try). We had a couple of breakfast items and everything was tasty. Would come back if I lived near by, but maybe next time we pass by this area.

The coffee was good!The experience of a coffee shop was lacking for me. The seating is a little tight. For me a relaxed atmosphere contributes immensely to the whole 3rd wave coffee culture. The staff was 50/50 in their response (some were very courteous, some were too cold).But then again, The coffee was good!

Ive always enjoyed my trips to Cafe One Eight. The staff is very friendly, reliable internet, great atmosphere. I love their scones, and all of the drinks are good options. (Seriously, all of the food and drinks are great!)If I had a word of warning, it would be rush hours. Everyone loves this place, which can make it quite busy, particularly mornings and lunch. An excellent choice of Cafes, but dont expect Starbucks-level speed. However, speed is sacrificed for quality, so not a bad trade at all.

Super cute snd very clean cafe. The roast beef sandwich was really good. Our drinks were also delicious. Fun date atmosphere too but we came with our family and they enjoyed it too. If you have little ones they have plenty of high chairs if needed which is always helpful.

Amazing coffee shop with a diverse menu. The staff was really nice and quick with the orders. The ambiance is excellent for chilling, getting some work done or studying.

Love this cafe! It was my first time in Lancaster and was looking for a cafe to sit down for a little while. Good amount of seating for small shop. I got an oat cappuccino which really hit the spot. Great music and atmosphere ♥️🎶🙏 thank you!!

Very nice little Cafe. Great service and a really good chicken Caesar salad that had more than enough chicken. I was tempted to drop a star because the table had not been wiped since the last patron but i am willing to give the benefit of the doubt. I will certainly return and be more adventurous with my menu choices and let you know if I get a clean table next time.

In town for business and our hotel recommended the Cafe for breakfast and we were not disappointed. Had the Baja breakfast. We will be returning for breakfast for the rest of our stay!!!

Wow I love it! Didnt think Id find better breakfast than Gracies but I did. Lots of health options and I loved the lattes. I dont drink coffee so they were perfect. Pumpkin chai latte. The green tea latte isnt sweet btw. The baked oatmeal was sooooo good. Not too sweet. Also, their gluten free bread tastes so delicious. I had to double check that it really was. Loved everything.

Fantastic breakfast food and a frankly perfect latte makes for a great start to the day. A calm aesthetic with white-washed brick and wood, but bustling with people. 5 stars easy.

Cute little cafe! Seating inside and out. The smoothie was delicious! (Id give the smoothie alone a 5 star!) The fruit that came as a side dish: the strawberries were rather past thier prime, but the oranges were juicy.

Nice place great food had a nice meal... very small eat-in dinning room to be honest but I would recommend it.

I wanted to like this place. But its pretty hard to. I think today was my last visit.First, the coffee is gross. Their espresso - no thanks. Tried four times. The last was the last.Second, you can go in and get one pastry for takeout ... and they will ask you every time if you want to leave a tip. For what? Handing me a pastry? No. Ask your boss for a raise. Thats so awkward to ask customers that ... I dont know how they do it. But all of them do.Third, I was in there today and the song that was playing was singing about Jesus. I mean, its a coffee shop, not a church. Huge turnoff to be playing religious music in a public place.And lastly, I was disappointed in their handling of the pandemic - they were one of the businesses that didnt really follow the rules. You could walk by and see the tables packed with maskless people. But ... I guess they made money, so thats all that matters.Better places to go than here.

I had a good experience with my fiancé. This was our first time visiting Lancaster city and we happened to walk into this cafe because it was freezing outside and we parked nearby. Their caramel lattes were very good and their Lancaster burrito was extremely filling, I couldn’t even finish the whole thing. I would recommend trying this cafe out the service was also very good. Our food and coffee was served quickly especially with all the large crowd.

I came here for the first time on Saturday. I ordered a latte (iced) which came out premeal and was very delicious. However, it had one thing that upset me.... The barista had already planted a plastic straw in my cup, I am learning that when I go places I have to remember to say no straw because its habitual for people to do. i travel with a probable straw, so I dont have to use plastic.i then ordered the roast beef and horseradish sandwich which was also very well prepared and tasty. However, I didnt expect this to be a hot sandwich... The menu did not say. But next time I would order it cold. You could see this was a quaint place that had regulars. They would call guests by name and make those interactions personable. Definitely will be back.

Only complaint is that the food was pricey. Very good! But pricey. The lattes are spectacular, and we enjoyed ours so much that we each bought a second one for the road.

Awesome breakfast! I had cinnamon swirl French toast with berries & yogurt covered in honey. He had the Lancaster Egg Burrito - sausage, bacon, tomatoes, roasted red pepper, potatoes, eggs & provolone cheese (minus the tomato). Coffee was self serve & choice of 3 brews. We hoped to sit outside, but it started raining as we walked from the car. Inside is the typical hipster white/wood/brick decor, clean & simple. Service was very friendly, food came quickly. We were both happy with the meal.

Im not much of a fancy coffee guy but the food is awesome, simple good food. I come for the grilled cheese sandwich and the brownies (huge fudgy brownies). The staff is always pleasant and attentive.

Amazing coffee. Ordered a simple almond milk latte and it was perfect. The aesthetic here is really great. My one concern is the number of people allowed inside the cafe at one time during the pandemic, because dine-in is available and at some points we felt a little crunched. We chose a spot by the window, hoping to avoid the crowds, but 5-7 people were backing up at the counter and out the door at once on top of the 10 or so already seated, not wearing masks. Staff was super friendly!

The menu was simple yet thorough. Typically, a small menu leaves somebody in your group having to compromise, but I was happy to see there was an option for every taste.The cafe interior was full of happy patrons. A good sign that I was in for a good meal. Everything was clean and the staff was attentive and courteous.I was feeling a vegetarian meal tonight, and the only veggie spot I was familiar with in Lancaster was a place called Root. Root is a great place to go if you and your friends diet is geared only towards vegetarian or vegan dishes. Yet, the varied offerings from Cafe One Eight gives you a place to take everyone. Which, in my opinion, makes it a far more sensible choice for the everyday bite.The vegan lentil soup was thick, but still thoroughly moist. Well seasoned, as a potage should be. Seldom does a vegan soup sooth your soul on a 20° evening. I found my hunger, as well as my apprehensions, were completely settled. So satisfying, I had to save the salad I had ordered for a few hours later.My maple tahini bowl salad was mixture of thoughtfully prepared ingredients. While served separated, sitting side by side in stark contrast to one another, complimented each other the way friends from different walks of life do. The stress of the day had been completely masked over by the many tastes this single dish offered.If I didnt live two hours from Lancaster, I would be strongly consider eating here every time my day needed a positive reset.

Maybe Im biased because the snow was falling perfectly outside the window when I went, but this place is movie material.Great coffee, not the best sandwich, but amazing-everything else.

I hear it is a great place for breakfast if you are able to climb the entrance stairs. Unfortunately, If you are disabled and in a wheelchair as I am you are out of luck since Cafe One Eight is not accessible. Cannot wait for Yorgos to serve breakfast again as it is the only wheelchair accessible restaurant in Lancaster to serve breakfast.

This place is awesome. Everything from atmosphere to cleanliness to friendly staff and great service. And of course the food is so fresh and delicious. Highly recommend this place. Has a really cool vibe. Prices, IMO, were reasonable. The portions were large and the freshness and healthy food is well worth every penny.

Great coffee! The Cobb salad and tomato soup were delicious and the ingredients were fresh. The presentation was also very attractive. The place was very busy. Tables were claimed as soon as they became available. The two girls stayed calm and were very friendly.

So so good! The pastries are delicious, smoothies are top notch, wraps are great! Egg sandwiches are definitely the best deal around $5 and so delicious. Everything else is a bit on the pricey side but very good quality. The prices for avocado toast and some of the sandwiches could be lower since they are around 10$ and small portions.

This was once one of my favorite places. Spent many days working on research and ordering great coffee and sandwiches. But unfortunately they have decided to endanger our community by ignoring health guidelines and opening for mask-free indoor dining. Will not give my business to a company that puts me, my family, my neighbors, and my city at risk in service of anti-science politics.

Great coffee. Friendly service. Nice atmosphere. The mousse dessert was very good, but the muffin that looked so good in the case came out hard and cold as if it was refrigerated. So if you get that, ask them to warm it up.

I lived above Lancaster cupcake for 2 years and made 18 my second home. They have a tomato bisque soup that is better than any Ive ever had in my life. I ask if they have it every time I visit...even at 8am. They also have Square One coffee which if you havent had is some of the best youll ever get. Theyve got great food options and free WiFi and its a cute place. The owners are really wholesome as well. Love supporting this place!

This was such a unique experience. I would come back to Lancaster just for another breakfast here on the street. Everything was amazing. I really loved that they replaced the typical syrup with honey. It went really well with the fresh berries and whipped cream on my Cinnamon swirled french toast.

Very friendly staff, huge variety of coffee and teas, delicious banana bread and cozy/homey environment. Would definitely come back again if I’m in the area.

I love it here! Perfect atmosphere. Food is delish! Employees are down to earth and so friendly. They easily accommodate my need for gluten-free adjustments with the items on their menu. And they have the best chai tea in town :)
