This bakery is absolutely amazing!! We were here for the weekend and I needed a last minute bday 🎂 cake done. Google lead me to this wonderful place. Everything is fresh made and their is an abundance of magical treats and eats. The staff here are so sweet, and accommodating. Thank you all for everything! Im definitely making this a must stop for our next visit to lancaster.

LaDolce Vida made a dozen gluten free cupcakes for our sons s wedding. We ordered the 6 chocolate cupcakes and 6 vanilla with strawberry filling. We also ordered the large size not the mini cupcakes. They were beautiful and our guests raved about how delicious they were. Thank you for making the wedding special for everyone!!!

Such a huge variety of pastries and sweet treats! Fresh hot coffee, and made to order espresso drinks and smoothies. Its hard to choose what to get because its ALL soooo good! Staff is super friendly. I highly recommend checking this place out. Youll want to keep going back for more.

Just visited La Dolce Vita. My tiramisu was a huge disappointment, from the first spoon it was obvious, it is not really good. I do not go back. Switched to a French bakery around the corner. Mr Barbaret puts his soul into pastries. Outside were sitting 2 men and they told me that a chocolate lace cookie was not good and a jar dessert was not good also.A young lady who is working there just a month was not a good help - she doesnt know yet what she is selling and coudnot give any advice.

I give them 10 stars, an amazing place! If you have never been there, its a must! I got a sandwich from them for the first time and it was incredible! Roast beef BLT!They have a huge showcase of Pastries, Pasta and so much more. We had couple different kinds of their cakes, cookies and coffee. And they were just soooooo good!Their service is always friendly, warm, inviting and happy to service!

Very inviting place. Warm, cozy place. The girl behind the counter was very helpful and explained the content of each of the desserts. Well presented work of art. Each item displayed were so good to look at, you will end up buying the whole dang bakery! But the great disappointment came when I tasted the strawberry - vanilla layer cake I bought. It was numbingly sweet. As the sweetness fades the horrible after tastes of poor quality ingredients sets in. Almost like tasting chemicals! I also bought a slice of crumb cake which was ok,not great. The only thing I will say that was excellent from the bakery - the cashiers attitude. She was so helpful and was very pleasant.

I love stopping in here when Im in the city. My favorite is their fruit tarts. They dont just look beautiful, they taste as good as they look. Their other items are excellent as well. They will also safely keep your cellphone for you since the courthouse will not allow them in the building for a $5 fee.

I special ordered a chocolate cake for my Dads birthday; it was HORRIBLE. My mom picked up the cake and was disappointed by the appearance but there was no time to get another. I was embarrassed to present this cake to my dad. The frosting was grainy, the one layer cake was sliced into three uneven parts and gobs of this nasty cream filled the areas where cake should of been.

We feel like part of the family when we visit.

The atmosphere is adorable. The customer service for such a small place was kinda slow. It wasnt even that packed. The prices are hidden in mystery and its really expensive. I pointed at what I thought and was informed was Tiramisu. It was a small handful st most, well designed. After the min what I got is what you saw below. A massive amount of mascarpone, a slim serving of coffee cake and a stingy amount of cocoa. Though massive it was bland and down right horrible. My girls cheese cake covered in chocolate was almost inedible. My father had spoken very nigh of this place but its super pricey and 2/2 nasty and bland tasting. Were not coming back. Prices need to be clearly displayed, samples should be given and description of the food needs to be present.

A very nice place for a quick dessert, or a cool smoothie for a hot summer day, they offer various Italia cookies and pastries. The staff was very friendly and quick, although the prices were a bit on the higher side, nonetheless I would still recommend this place to friends and family!

Delish grilled pastrami with iced mocha at a table outside was a perfect lunch on gorgeous fall day after far too much rain. Made to order mini canoli had great texture and just enough spice in the shell, while filling was smooth and not too sweet. Looking forward to the reaction from my kids on the specialty pastries that are headed home for them. Service was friendly and efficient, even with a house full of customers overwhelmed by the variety of fantastic looking choices. Will be returning as there are loads of options left to try.

This is a small bakery of unusual, fancy and expensive pastries, cookies and cakes. It is a great place to get something special for a breakfast with a special someone. They have very limited seating inside and a few tables outside.

Unfortunately we were very disappointed in the cake. We order special for my daughters 30 th birthday weekend an there was ten of us an not one of us liked the cake we shared one piece because we couldn’t believe it was so awful an didn’t even eat another piece an had throw it away It was suppose to be a cheesecake an was nothing like a cheesecake at all. We have traveled a lot an one of the first things we do is look at the reviews for awesome bakeries an this one had good reviews. Sorry I can’t agree would not go here again.

I was at the courthouse and decided to stop by this bakery. At first glance everything looks cute and delicious. I was a little annoyed that they didn’t have prices listed on most of the items or else I wouldn’t have bought the chocolate covered cheesecake. It came out to $7 and is the worst cheesecake I’ve ever had. It literally tastes like cardboard or like it’s been in the fridge for way too long. I’m very disappointed that I overpaid for a price of nasty, inedible cheesecake. So whoever’s reading this, stay away from the cheesecake!

I purchased a 9 inch chocolate birthday cake from here with chocolate mousse filling & Chocolate buttercream icing. It was divine! A big hit at my brother’s birthday party! Ive never had anything from here that wasnt worthy of a five star rating. The people are great and very accommodating. This has been my go-to bakery for three years now, and I am happy to drive the 20 minutes instead of visiting any of the 4-5 bakeries within 5 minutes of my house

Wonderful Italian place for snacks, sandwiches and pastries. They have seating inside along their window overlooking the street as well as some outside. There are so many choices. Their soup selection is diff every day. Tried their soups, pasta salad, coffee with macaroon - everything was fresh and tasted good. We were told pastries and desserts are made here - no wonder everything looks so inviting and fresh. Friendly staff.

I LOVE this place! The baked goods are AMAZING. The bread is to die for and the little fancy cakes are sooooo good. Everything is so fresh and wonderful. The shop in itself is adorable and the smells make you want to eat everything in sight. I didnt realize this at first but they also have a full menu for lunch and breakfast. I had a turkey club one time and it was absolutely delectable! Very happy this place is in Lancaster!

The true test of any bakery that claims to do Italian cannolis is if they fill the cannoli only upon an order. That’s what they do here in the cannolis are fantastic. Take it from a New Yorker who knows Italian cannolis.

I went to this place when I was on a work assignment in the downtown area of Lancaster; mainly, because it was close to the office. At first sight I was amazed by all the beautifully decorated pastries. However, I actually went in there looking for something for lunch so, I passed on the pastry and opted for pasta salad, which is something I personally love. It was $6.00 for a very small clear plastic container. Wow - that was way too expensive. It was fresh and good, but seriously a box of pasta at the grocery store is less than a $1.00 and the few veggies that were in the salad didnt add much to the value. They should really try to be more reasonable with their prices. Nice place though if you want to pay more for less.

They have a wonderful selection of pastries. The fruit tart was really good and so was the service. The lady here was friendly and helpful. I would go there again.

I purchased a 6 tiramisu cake from here and it far exceeded my expectations. I inquired about the cake pricing for a coworkers birthday last minute and Bailey responded quickly and even added a special happy birthday decoration on the cake! It was beautifully crafted and tasted absolutely amazing. I will definitely be returning here for other events!

Small but packed with delicious wonder. Piles of butter cookies, oversize pastries, various coffees made to order, sandwiches on their own giant rolls were awesome for lunch. Small cozy seating area if you want to eat in. Pricing was reasonable for lunch. Service was friendly and prompt. Across from the lancaster county courthouse.

No better quality can be found! The selection is abundant and couldnt be more tempting! Hands down my favorite bakery in Lancaster County! I never pass up the opportunity to even just walk in and take a look around. Even if Im unable to buy anything, I cant resist going in and taking a peek. My daughter brought us canollis.... Gross! The shells tasted old, like theyve been in the refridgerator for days. Im Italian from NJ and never had a bad canolli until now.

La Dolce Vita is my absolute favorite bakery ever. I usually never write reviews but felt this place deserved one. The atmosphere is lovely, the food is incredible, and the owner is so kind. The Four Cheese Melt is actually the best grilled cheese I’ve ever had. As someone who usually prefers savory over sweet, this place is the exception. Their cookies and cannolis are delicious. If calories and money weren’t a thing, I’d spend every day of my life here ahhh 😭 🙂

This place is a gem in Lancaster City. Everything is outstanding both in visual appeal and delicious taste. They serve Lavazza Coffee which is so wonderful! Because its a homemade Bakery the prices are on the more expensive side but are worth it if youre able to treat yourself. The employees are friendly, knowledgeable and able to answer questions.

I stop in here every now and then and love it every time. The ladies working here are always a pleasure to talk to and they work their tushies off. Perfect stop for a quick coffee near the square. Great quality and service. A++

On 3 or 4 different occasions, I have bought their cakes because I believe in supporting local businesses. However, the quality has not been good. Too much icing and filling and barely any cake. The cake tasted old and dry. For the cost of their cakes, I would have expected them to be better.
