I will never return to this store after the terrible experience I had recently with their so called manager. I brought my two small children in to get some grocery shopping done and realized my son needed to be changed. I asked the manager where the restrooms with a changing table would be, when she then informed me that they didnt have one. I asked where I should change me son and she very rudely said that she would let corporate know to put one in. At this point I am very frustrated at her lack of care toward the situation and asked her how that helped me in that moment to tell corporate to install one: she then said thats not my personal problem .... No of course its not your personal problem, its your professional problem that you arent providing a location for mothers to change their children. I was under the impression that this person was a manager, although she chose not to wear a name badge (probably so she can act this way and go unnamed). This location really needs to think about the representation of their management to customers. Terrible job in your hiring choice on that one Safeway.

Kind of dead but nice and a friendly staff

Just left this store an hour ago. Theres no meat or seafood counter and no one seems to be working the deli. I saw a man wait politely for 5 minutes while the woman in the office on her phone ignored him. He finally said something and she was very rude to the elderly man. Whatever i had came for i just walked away because i did not want to deal with an abusive employee. She was larger with dark hair 9/11/21 2pm.

Safeway l feel safe and comfortable at this store above all others.!! No stress !;!!! Seriously I love the peace so l can think and read. Sweet fresh breathe of air👍👌😊. easy now dont get to excited just chill. There is A little more you can do to improve comfort and easy-going shopping experience. I enjoy myself when I shop here.. When A store has to have visible security, thats the wrong place to be because the store is not SAFE. Peace comfort no stress . fresh air

For a store this size, there is a surprisingly poor selection of virtually everything. Poor produce options, very small meat/seafood section, etc. My go to will be the King Soopers down the road until this place has better offerings.

Ive only been in Safeway a few times cuz I go to King Soopers. Im going to start going to Safeway. I love how nice & organized it is plus, they are always stocked with things I like. Safeway is an excellent store.

Love this Safeway as it is so close to my house. No masks required so I will support this place. Friendly employees always willing to help. It is a shame people fall for the mask scam and wear them.

So incredibly understaffed and out of so many things. And dilapidated and sad looking, like a run down Kmart or Sears going out of business.

Needs to be updated. Its never very busy and I think it would get more business if it had an update. Also the staff could be friendlier and more attentive.

Loved the man at the register, just wish they had better stock of items, especially for the Monopoly game free items.

I come here for two reasons: its never busy (especially nice for social distancing) and unlike King Soopers, Safeway sells fat-free half-and-half (a great supplement to skim or 1% milk if you dont like your milk to be blue-ish). But beyond that, the store is dated and tired-looking, the produce has always been limited (quality and quantity) and over-priced relative to the competition and theyve now even done away with a butcher/seafood department.

Quick, kind, and polite cashiers. Baggers are soft touched with the bread and eggs. Helpful stocking employees

Safeway is a great place to stop for 1 or 2 small items. The stories clean well organised; however, the prices are ridiculously inflated with King Soopers a mile away.

Clean store well stocked, plenty of parking, gas available, not super busy for those who don’t like the hustle and bustle,the staff has turned around to be very pleasant and helpful . Checkout can be a Lil slow at times but never uncomfortably long .

Worst produce I’ve ever seen in my life. Consistently. Go to King Soopers down the road instead

The pathetic people who manage this store do not require customers to wear masks. Just watched an entire group of people walk in without masks on and not a single employee or manager even addressed it. You all deserve to lose your jobs and hopefully you dont take the virus home and kill a loved one simply because its not your place or in your job description to do the right thing.

Very accommodating, and helpful employees. I have brain damage its a disability you cant see from the outside, so Its a tremendous help when someone helps me, I love, and pray for those kind of people.

My wife and I have shopped at Safeway for years. We like he selection, the prices and specials are good, the store is clean, and he employees are friendly and helpful. Te gas station is convenient and the rewards points allow us to get up to $1 per gallon discount. Covid-19 precautions are followed throughout the store.

Terrible customer service, and cavalier attitudes by staff.Edit: I agree with Erik P. s assessment below from 9/11. The same woman who was in the office on the phone didnt wait on me either while I was at the customer service desk long enough for her to see me. Then I got attitude from an employee for being upset about it.

The WORST! Customer service tried to hit me in the face with a pack of cigarettes. My ribs were broken. I leaned against a pole, saying to myself, Oh, my ribs hurt! He attacked me! IT IS NOT SAFE THERE AT SAFEWAY. They should name it Harmsway! I WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN. I SHOULD TAKE THEM TO COURT. That did not help my PTSD at all!

I try to give this store credit. But every time I come here lately it is just a mess. Between the young staff spilling their drama throughout the store and parking lot for all to bear, and the general staff that just doesnt care.Would come here to get SHAVED beef. But I get SLICED beef. On more than one occasion. Listening to the customer and sulfilling orders is the job... its a simple thing, that routinely gets overlooked. Ive had better experiences down the street.

Just needed a restroom quickly but that didnt happen since there are no visible, clearly marked signs. Safeway bathrooms put Walmarts to shame on the disgusting scale, and charge you Whole Foods prices for sub-par products. Not liking the Safeway much.

They had exactly what I needed when I visited from out of town.

Whys the rating here so low? I came here to grab some bakery goods, and I was really happy to see they have the shelf of quick-sell bakery products! Its the best. I got some, and I also got some produce. I think the produce section here is a bit smaller than some other Safeways, but it still has a lot! No self checkout, but every time Ive been here, the line has been nonexistent.

Peaceful and comfortable. The better way to shop! Straight up there.

I love this store and go there very often. My only complaint is about one of the employees Erma. She has checked out my groceries multiple times and is very rude and doesn’t even say anything. Once my groceries were checked out she left my bag and didn’t even hand it to me so I had to reach over and grab it. Doesn’t say “thank you” or “have a nice day”, is very rude, and this has happened every time she checks out my stuff. I don’t have a problem with the store but I do have a problem with this rude employee.

This is an older building. The staff is super friendly and helpful. If you need a quick restroom stop Id recommend looking elsewhere as they only have single occupant public restrooms.

The lady at the register was touching the outside of her mask then touching our groceries. No hand sanitizing between customers. There was plastic on the card machine but that protects only the machine. Everyone is still touching it on the same surface. Duh.. they need to step it up a little.

This is the best grocery store on the front range please dont shop here I love how low key and non crazy it is. 5 min down the road you got people pulling thier hair out over the exact same product and service because its so over crowded... crazy.

WOW I was surprised I had enough points on my card to get 60 cents off a gallon

The selection Is limited, as the store is pretty small. But the people who work here are really great, friendly, and helpful. Also, theyve got a bin of Clorox wipes just inside the entrance so you can grab a handful and wipe down whatever you want while youre shopping.

I have been a faithful Safeway shopper for about a year now. But, I just finished doing my shopping at my nearby King Sooper where I just spent my weekly average of $150-$200 on groceries. What a great place---great prices, honest and professional people, honestly advertised prices, and I even got the advertised sale prices on everything without having to go to Customer Service after I pay at the register to get a refund on the sale prices they didnt give me even with my digital download discounts, when I checked-out. They also had their shelves stocked with all the items I wanted to buy. Today, I was asked to leave this Safeway, after complaining about their (once again) misleading (lying) sale prices. I had complained about the fact that you had to buy a $125 roast in order to get their advertised price per pound price (honest)--nothing in the digital ad, or paper ad that said that. The meat guy told me what a price loss that was for them. I reminded him of all the price screwings I already had in my cart that more than made up for it--if what he was saying was in fact true.EVERYTIME, I have been in this store, I had at LEAST two items that did not ring-up at the designated sale price and EVERYTIME it was an argument at customer service to get the advertised sale price EVEN AFTER showing them the price. These are BAD, DISHONEST people that DONT value a customer or good customer service, and NOW, please add rude and unprofessional to the list. IN ADDITION, they NEVER had all the items stocked or available that I wanted that were advertised in their weekly flyer.I HIGHLY RECOMMEND that the general public take their business elsewhere and allow particularly this Safeway location to die a painful death and go out of business. You and your wallet will both appreciate it.

Kind of an older no frills safeway (my last neighborhood had one with sushi), but the associates here are friendly and helpful. Prices are good and they have all the important things. This is my go-to for most groceries.

The store is poorly stocked, run down, and smells bad. Relative to other Safeway locations, I was disappointed. The store requires a renovation at least and a new air handling system to remove the rancid fryer grease smell which permeates everything and lingers on ones clothes for hours afterwards.

I enjoy shopping here much more than king Sooners.

Meat department Butchers are most excellent. Tim Martinez continues to amaze me with his winning service and pleasing nature. When I walk through the store, he almost always comes up to me and addresses me by name and asks if there are any special services I need. He has learned what I like and how I need my cuts. Never a disappointment in his service. A standout employee in this location.

Just nowSo let me start off by saying that I used to work at this Safeway. I worked in the deli and I took pride in what I did. Let me explain what happened today. I went into the main store to get a money order. As I approached the money handling area there was a gentleman named Dan there on the phone. Instead of acknowledge me and saying that he has an important phone call to finish he continued on with this conversation for 5 minutes. Once he got off the phone he walked around the counter and asked how he could help me. I asked him if he would be impressed with a cashier not taking care of somebody because they were on the phone. His response, if they were dealing with something as important as I was just dealing with then yes I would be okay with them not taking care of the customer. I gave them two stars because I respect the fact that he was honest. However, I only gave him two stars because its very disrespectful to not acknowledge somebody when theyre standing right behind you. Dan, I hope you learned something from this and allow it to make you a better person. I dont wish anything bad on you I only hope that this will help create or success in that store

This Safeway is slow. It is good there are less people, but bad if you have a big order and there is only cashier. People really get mad at you. There produce is hit or miss. Same with meat. We had great shrimp the other night. The butcher that we have had two times was excellent and knowledgeable The rotisserie chicken is not as good as Kings. Service is hit or miss (maybe because of trying to buy too much?) Their bakery has improved though. Their chips they released are rwally good. Wish I could give a 3 and a half.

Like this place because its not overly crowded. Went there recently to the deli specifically for the Red White and Blue potato salad. They had three pans of it. More than any other food in the deli case with one pan without blue cheese. Got my purchase home excited to share it for dinner. Literally half the potatoes were raw! I called and they were very nonchalant about it considering its something that could make people sick. Did anyone test the salad before they dished it out? Not to mention its an incredible waste of food at a time of food instability and a pandemic crisis. My point is, if you cant do potato salad right; then what else is subpar in the deli?

First time Ive been to a Safeway in years as we dont have them back home. Excellent choice! Got a tbone steak on managers special for THREE dollars! Lots of savings throughout the store and actually used coupons! The employees were genuinely friendly and courteous, at least 3 asked if i needed assistance while i was shopping!

This Safeway could use a makeover. It has a reasonable selection but just doesnt match up to nearby competitors offerings. And restocking of fresh items often lags demand. Safeway can and should do better.

The store was clean and the service counter employee was so pleasant. There is no self check-out stands and the whole store could definitely use some updating to run more efficiently.

I do like this store. The people are nice, its well organized, and they sell stuff that even King Soopers doesnt have; but theres a reason why I rarely go here. The wait time while checking out is always ridiculously long. Theres never more than three cashiers at a time; most of the time Im there its only one or two. And for it being 2020 youd think most grocery stores would have a self checkout but Safeway doesnt. I dont like running into the store for one or two things and getting stuck waiting behind people for several minutes with whole cart of stuff. The cashiers are always nice but incredibly slow and when Im in a hurry it gets stressful. I only go to Safeway a couple of times a year because Id much rather drive the extra three minutes to Kings where I know Ill be in and out quickly. If you want to keep a smaller staff thats fine but I highly think adding a few self checkout machines would give this place a large upgrade

I have been shopping at this store for 25 years. The staff at this store has always been very helpful, professional and cheerful, always love shopping at the store. The one change I would like to see is a remodel as the store has been the same for many years. The meat department could use a makeover!!!

Great customer service

This is my neighborhood Safeway but its certainly not my favorite. Compared to other grocery stores in the metro area and other Safeways this one seems to still be stuck in the 80s. Nothing has been remodeled in decades and no actual meat counter. Customer service is always good but I prefer to go to other locations or other grocery stores than this one. Hope they will eventually remodel this location.

This is by far this best run Grocery store in the area. They are Full, fresh & clean. They do not have self checkout but they keep the line moving. If 2 people get to register they call for help. The produce is always fresh. Meat is cut in the store and Angus beef at lowest price I have seen.

Its a Safeway. Like this one because its never really crowded and there is plenty of easy parking. Also has a gas station.

Good store. The workers are polite and work hard. They are always under short of help. Sometimes you have to wait too long in line. They need to actually have an express like kings stores where you self check your purchases when you only have just a few things.

Shelves were a little bare but considering whats going on it was kept very clean.

If youre trying to go somewhere that actually cares about their customers and enforces the statewide face mask rule, I suggest driving down the street to King Soops.

I really like this store it is in a non stressful location with ample parking. They also carry a lot of the harder to find items and speciality products. Like Harrisa and wild blueberries. Also nice gluten free section. It’s a nice store.

Not a huge selection but clean and organized and easy to find things. It reminds me of my neighborhood Safeway 50-40 yrs ago. The staff know most of their customers by name.

The manager Amanda is fantastic. My wife and I had a package delivered from Amazon to the FedEx dropoff location at this Safeway. We arrived at Safeway at 8:30 pm only to find out that the customer service at the dropoff closed at 8 pm. Amanda very graciously opened the customer service location back up and we were able to check out our package. Great service!
