Don’t go here!!! I took my brand new suv here and got a bad dent in it! The manager came out and said it wasn’t his car wash that did it! I had just pumped gas in my car before going to his car wash I would’ve noticed it! Now I’m out $175 dollars having to pay someone to remove this dent!! Stay away looks like I’m not the only person who’s was damaged at this dump!!!

As much as I would have like to leave a better review, I drove off the lot paying $70 to have my seats still looking like this. This was their detailing option but they treated it as a primary focus on the exterior.The staff was nice inside however after spending over a hour here, you’d anticipate walking out to a brand new car. Unfortunately this was the end result. Because of this, hard to imagine coming back here.You’re better off finding a car wash staff more hungry that appreciates your car.

I have been going to Lakewood Car Wash for years and theyre always consistent. I get regular car wash as well as full details. The workers are friendly and professional.

Guy at the end yelled in a rude way and gave me a nasty look instead of trying to figure out what was wrong. I was following the directions of the sign that said wait instead of go. They should consider fixing their sign instead of yelling at their customers. Ive noticed their level of service declining through the past few months. This was just the last straw. Not coming back.

If you guys can look closer, you will see some scratches lines on my brand new, three months car after I came out out from the machine. I came here very often because I have two cars and everything was fine until today. I asked to talk to the manager the girl at the counter inside the store told me that the manager was not there, she would sent someone to take a look. The old guy came out and try to argue with me that it was not because of the machine. I kept telling him that when I was in the middle of the machine I heard something weird on my roof. I showed him to take a look at three long curve lines, He still tried to ignore it and left. I had to call my insurance guy and they told me to wait for the police to get the report. While I wait, there two more guys came out with some types of chemical to wipe out those scratches. Some was gone, but the glass area there were some deep scratches still. They gave me the manager card and have me call back later. I left really mad.

I was looking forward to having my car washed inside and out after COVID restrictions loosened. This has been my go-to for a full wash, with the knowledge there will be a long wait but worth it. The one thing I most needed was all the windows cleaned on the inside, which turned out to be a disappointment with marks and streaks visible when I drove away. Next time I will check them before leaving.

Place left scratches on my brand new car... Will not be going here again. I prefer Tommys car wash any day

Got a new car 2 weeks ago so I was looking for a dependable carwash. Decided to run the monthly package and was disappointed when after giving them the benefit of a doubt and washing my car on 4 different days. The tires, wheels always come out looking still dirty. And the staff at the register cant be bothered with questions regarding products in there store. I had to ask them 5 times about tire dressing. The first 4 times she just pointed and said its right there after looking a fourth time for it. I asked if she could please show me, she rolled her eyes and seemed bothered to help a customer. Guess the gossip with the other employee was too good to interrupt 🤷🏻‍♂️ going to cancel my monthly and look for a better place

After reading reviews of, I felt no but I said I will make sure I bless them and pray for their lives to be filled. Lo what a miracle. 5 to 6 people attended the service to make sure its done in 10 minutes. I felt I belong to them. Had so peace. In time I reached home to find animal control van just in parking lot to pick up the possum who laid their head for final rest. It was a good day. I thank you for your help and support and kindness while I was mourning for 2 possum death and also one of my neighbors loss.

There are 2 services. Regular car wash for $6 and free vacuum on your own, you go to the left lane. Full car wash and detailing, you go to the right lane. I just want a regular wash and free vacuum so I was told to be on the left lane. Pay $6 at the register and enter the wash. Then vacuum. Exit and go.

Best drive thru car wash and detaling service around wont find anything close within 100 miles that I know of.

AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST!!! I’m going to do everything I can to hold the owner of this car wash responsible for the damage to my vehicle. My hood was completely scratched up and damaged and they refuse to contact me back to have it fixed and tell me constantly the manager is “out” I’ve had the vehicle for 2 weeks!

They clean your car okay but if you dont take something out like a detergent bottle they wont move it theyll just clean around it. As you can see in the picture they just had to move the stuff and throw away the Starbucks and vacuum under it.

Horrible experience. I don’t think it should matter what kind of car your drive. My car is a Volvo 240 and I wanted it to get wash. With vacuum.Point is that they didn’t clean my car properly. My window is dirty and I paid $22 bucks and they do a better job in south central for 15 bucks.Another issue was that my car has been broken into and my key ignition is messed up and asked the guy don’t turn it all the way if not it’s going freaking lock. Poor communication. And now I’ve been sitting here trying to turn on my car for almost an hour and a half. Horrible experience. A few workers were kind enough to try and help me, but still not going to come back here!

This place is good if all you want is to get the dust off your car and for $5 you can bypass the extreme detailing and just drive through and have the dirt on the outside removed from your car. For more money you can have the complete car Wash where they vacuum and clean the inside and if you want to pay even more they will do detailing on the side.

My family and I have been coming here for years and have always left happy. The prices are great and the staff is always friendly. I know sometimes they can be very busy and in a rush and if the staff misses something I catch they dont argue and make a big fuss, they simply clean and double check the vehicle once again. I get my vehicle detailed cleaned completely every three months and Im always surprised that they finish cleaning it in under an hour unlike other places I have gone where they take 2 hours. I also like that you have the option to be inside with large windows to see clearly outside or simply sit outside and enjoy the fresh air of the day allows it. The staff and service are the reason my family comes here and we shall continue too.

Slow!!Wasted 30 minutes of my precious time for no apparent reason. Two lane and only 1 lane move while mine just stand still. They made no attempt to fix issue. Saw one person keep going back to office after acxept a payment. He was walking slowly back to office. So 5-6 car on other lane would move for every 1 he did.

Both to do it yourself cleaning, which is new so if you want to do the cleaning yourself but dont have the tools at home Lakewood Car wash & Detail is the place to go. But if youre in a rush and need experts to the job with their great hospitality this is the place to also get yourCar detailing done. I highly recommend! :)

This is it! The best car wash I been going there ever since I worked at Lakewood regional medical center. They left my car like new shiny and spotless! Great prices and the wax coating the bomb! Shine bright like a diamond lol

I visited this car wash today and it was 25 dollars. When they were done I looked at my car and the hood wasnt clean, the seats werent wiped down, the center counsel wasnt wiped down, the middle section of the back seat floor wasnt vacuumed, and the bumper was still dirty. Over all the parts inside the car that were wiped down were still spotty and had dust spots. The windows were the only thing that were cleaned properly. The girl at the counter was very nice, but I wont be coming back here.

This is the greatest car wash Ive ever been to. My car came out looking brand new! The staff was so nice and helpful! I will never go to another car wash. Make sure you get the Lakewood Lava it makes my car so clean and shinny!

Came to get the car washed and picked out the Best wash for $10, paid extra $1 for the wheel armor all that was a complete rip off as it didnt do anything.At the end of the wash they have 2 people working doing a hand dry but only had 1 side dried off as the other guy was too busy chit chatting with a coworker.The ticket writers seem not to care about the job and seem bothered. One of the guys dropped some bad words and luckily my daughter didnt hear it.The machine actually did a decent job at washing the car and vacuums work good.Would probably not be back due to the lack of service .

Better inexpensive car washes that Ive been to before period friendly service to vacuum hoses so you dont have to drag them all over the place for each car. Lots of room to detail and vacuum your car. Good experience overall!

My car went in dirty. . . Came out dirtier. . . Baked on. I was not made aware that there would be no inside detailing and I opted for The Best Wash (as was shown on the sign). You vacuum it yourself was all I was told.When I re-approached the guy who took my money after the first lousy wash (which also I wish I knew this rental car better as I would also be willing to bet you the car was damaged in the process) he was uninterested in even allowing me to pay the difference to have the proper wash job done. . . Suggested a heavy duty wash/wax and detailing.Customer service blows. Wash was near useless to me. This is essentially a way of getting people through en masse and taking your money. Ive had better self-service car washes elsewhere. Signage was terrible. . . Including half of one of the major signs which indicated detailing was half missing. . . What that meant, I had no clue. . . But now I understand.I wont EVER be coming back here again.

I have moved. But I visit Lakewood - a lot. We always went to LCWD. When we get near Lakewood, we got get the car/truck washed. If you live close to South and Lakewood - you are very lucky.

Paid $50.00 for quick detail, got in and drivers side looked like it hadnt been vacuumed, dash was not shiny at all. Get way better cleaning for only $20.00 regular car wash at Compton car wash. Too much to pay for poor service.

Went to this new car wash, really liked it. I like that they have so many options, and the prices are reasonable, I did an outside only wash, and it costs only $5.99, and for that price they let me do free vacuum, granted I have to do it myself, but it is so cheap. The lady told me that they used purified-water and it leaves less streaks, I was really skeptical. I like my windows rolled down, but after a car wash it leaves streaks when you roll down your window, but I had much less streaks, so I guess purified water actually does something.The owner, Alex, is very dreamy...beautiful green eyes...#hotstuffOverall good place, will go back.

Ive been going to this carwash for years; but for some years now its under a new owner... And the service is not like it use to be. Three weeks ago I went to get my regular wash on my Nissan Titan and my truck went off the track and it damaged my truck; I filled out and incident report and wanted to talk to someone but they said that the manager is on lunch break and he will call. I called him but he wouldnt talk to me and had one of his employees to tell me that he have to look at the video and he will call me. Its been 3 weeks now. Long story short; they didnt offer me a refund nor did they pay for the damages. Good thing I have it on video cause I would be screwed so Im taking it to court and I have an attorney whose willing to take my case.. Its something illegal 🚫 going on with this carwash cause when something goes wrong the manager doesnt address it. Im not going to let this ride.They dont even deserve a thought of getting 1 star but you have to put at less one star to be able to post a review.

Its the worst car wash I have ever been to!! I paid $14 and my small vehicle was still dirty! I usually do it myself for less than $8 including vacuuming. And just a little word of advise be careful because I saw very tiny cracks on my windshield and they do have a sign that they are NOT responsible for any damages!

BEWARE of a possible SCAM!!!!My experience goes like this. My uncle let me borrow his 2016 Lincoln MKZ for a few days while I was visiting from out-of-state. I took his car in to get washed. The service writer was rude, and stupid. I got it washed and left. My uncle noticed his HANDICAP PLACARD was missing. I called, and the lady there said they had it. I drove back the 10 plus miles to get it back. I received no apology, no compensation, not even a refund!!!The SCAM probably goes like this: The employee steals the HANDICAP PLACARD, they hold onto it for a day, hoping the owner does not notice it missing, and call back as I did. Then they sell the PLACARD to some other LOW-LIFE, for a dollar amount reflective of its expiration date.SO BEWARE OF THIS PLACE FOR “ALL” THE REASONS LISTED ABOVE!!!!!!

In this case, You get what you pay for! After my car ran through their bristles my car handle went missing. They wouldnt look for the part or allow me to look for it. I was directed to the cashier and all she did was take my name and # on a piece of receipt paper. Im definitely disappointed at how this was handled. Its been over a month and nobody has called. Had I known this was a possibility, I wouldve just taken it to its normal hand car wash on PCH before hitting Crenshaw. My car is not old, I have a 2015 and a handle piece shouldnt just come off. This place was recommended by a friend and nothings ever happened to his truck, but I wont be coming back.

This car wash scratches your car gaurnteed. I bought a brand new black Audi and I got it washed after two weeks of buying it. Their was a long scratch on the right side. I showed the manger and he apologized. Im upset and I will never ever go here again. I advise everyone to get a hand wash. Trust me dont go here unless you want swirl marks and scratches all over your car.

Took my 2013 Honda crosstour and the wash machine broke my whole back windshield wiper off . The Manager told me one out of ten crosstour the back windshield breaks off. Hell if the would have posted that I would not have took the risk. Two months ago they told me they would fix my car my car is just now getting fixed after I got the run around and had to threaten to sue.

Took my tacoma to get washed(not the tacoma prerunner, the normal sr5 tacoma) and was charged an oversized vehicle fee. When i noticed several cars around my truck were larger than mine, i asked the cashier if they were charged the oversized vehicle fee as well. After a brief back and forth, she flat out said that it didnt matter my truck was smaller, i was charged because i drove a truck.TLDR; mini truck charged as an oversized vehicle

Ive been going here since they re- opened. They used to give me a hard time about my rubber liner in my truck bed but they are over that now. I was very happy until the last couple of times I went. I always get the $10 wash which includes a wipe down, but the last 3 times it looked like they missed that part. I am not a complainer as a rule, but just got done re-washing my truck because there were more water marks than when I took it in. I usually go 1-2 times a week, but after today, I will just spend the extra $4 and go to a different car wash where they will also do the windows etc. I like their vacuums and dont mind doing that but having to wash it again when I get home has changed my mind about this car wash. Too bad because they are so convenient for me and very fast, which I really like. I may try one more time if my truck gets super dirty but probably not. And yes its black, and yes I am picky.

Been going here 17 years. Always liked them, but they now seem to have shortened their hours so only the unemployed and retired can show up.Here is a hint....working people usually work till 4 or 5. You used to close at 6 and I could make it. Now its pointless for me to even try.

So I went to get my truck washed and expected it to be about 20 maybe 30 min (there was no line) I went in and sat down for about 25 min then forgot I needed to pay so I payed and thought my truck was done since I saw it sitting there not being touched for 15 min. one of the workers kindly apologized and stayed about 15 more min so I waited and it still didnt get touched. I went and started vacuuming it myself until the manager came to me and asked me to stop and showed me my receipt and the receipt said Id only been waiting 45 minuted I told the manager I sat and waited 25 minutes until I payed so the receipt was wrong. the manager was a complete a## about it and just walked away. I waited a total of 1 hour and 11 minutes and my truck was still not donso I left. it wasnt the workers fault they did not have enough workers to do the job. ill never go back.
