I came in 10 minutes before closing needing glasses ASAP due to an emergency. Alex and the tech working (currently forgetting his name) stayed around after hours to help me out, which truly meant so much. Incredible service!
My past experiences have been nothing but great. However, my recent experience has caused me to change my mind about this locations service. About a month ago, I scheduled an examination. The day I went in they were short staffed and over scheduled (scheduling about 5 people at the same time which the front desk was unaware of). My initial exam was performed by a brand new employee and he told me I was his first patient ever. He tried his best but it was a disaster. On top of that, it has taken three tried to obtain my trail contacts. The first pair was a close match given by the Eye doctor (not uncommon), and the next two times they were the wrong prescription and lost in transit several times. When trying to contact the facility, getting a strait answer or a call back with a follow up on my order was impossible. On top of that, one employees even disclosed that they forgot to order my trials while another stated they were on back order. Personally, after experiencing the lack of communication and respect the staff has for their customers I will be conducting my future vision concerns elsewhere.
Was able to schedule an eye exam & have my glasses ready the same day. All staff was very friendly & professional. Alex was extremely helpful when I was picking out my frames and couldnt decide - he helped me pick frames within my budget off the shelf and gave great advice on which ones looked the best. The store is situated in a chill area, plenty of places to hang out while you wait!

My husband scratched his glasses and needed to get them fixed before his flight the next day. We called ahead and spoke to Alex. When we came by to drop them off, he had already precut the lenses for us. We were in and out in 5 minutes! Talk about fast service! Alex at the Belmar store entered my prescription wrong. I understand people make mistakes and I’ve made plenty myself. The issue I have with Alex is that he spent 20 minutes trying to sell me features that I didn’t need and making suggestions for the most expensive options. If he’d spent any of that time verifying my prescription, this could’ve been avoided.It cost me time and money to go back to the store and correct Alex’s mistake, I’ll have to wait another 10-15 days for my glasses. The store didn’t offer any type of rush order, just an insincere apology. I don’t usually leave bad reviews but this was an experience I had to share.
I have purchased many glasses and sunglasses at this location for several years now. And they never disappoint! The staff is kind, willing to always help you find the right pair you are looking for. They help with the best style for your face shape and if you are looking for everyday casual or the trendy side. The store is comfortable (especially during the current pandemic), full of great natural light to get a feel of the true color of your glasses you are trying on.I will also say after wearing glasses for a good portion of my life now, they have been the ones who can adjust my glasses the best when they get loose of time!

Go literally anywhere else if possible..- Every order of contacts I place here is late/delayed- My glasses prescription they gave me is wrong, even after multiple visits to change it- Staff is unfriendly, and informal- Owners son (who is 17) sometimes plays the optometrists assistant even though he is obviously a kid and ill-informed
Upon entering the store, I was immediately acknowledged. The wait wasnt long. Ernesto was very helpful answering my questions and addressing my concerns. I had already purchased my frames so getting measured for the lenses didnt take long at all. I am 73 years old and appreciate the patience Ernesto extended to me. The store followed Covid protocols. Overall a great experience.
Lenscrafters has been taking care of my vision needs for years and today proved that Im working with the right company. A pair of fairly new glasses had a problem with the lenses and they are replacing with no hassles at all. I will continue to trust Lenscrafters with all my vision needs. The customer service at the Belmar location is the best! Would highly recommend.

I came into get my eyes checked after not having them checked a couple years! All the staff was amazing! The doctor was so personable and made me feel so comfortable and almost like she was my friend! Then when I was looking for glasses the lady who helped me was amazing!! I was contacted after making my appointment online to put a card on file. I was told it was for any fees associated with the visit. I was never told about a $50 fee if I was more than 20 minutes late. I had to reschedule due to an emergency and they still didn’t mention the fee until I asked about the charge. Failure to inform about a fee should be illegal. I will not be rescheduling here.

This was my preferred eyecare location for years. Then my vision insurance provider decided they were no longer in network. THEN I didnt have vision insurance for a while.Long story short, I got vision insurance that had them in-network again and scheduled my first appointment in about 3 years that same week. Everyone from the doctors staff, to the doctor, to all the associates on the retail side were just as pleasant as I remembered. It was nice to go there again.

Leo, assisted me in finding a great deal on a frame and lenses. It was quick, easy, and affordable. I would definitely return to this location for any future business. Other stores turned me away for wanting to use my existing prescription but, Leo didnt hesitate to help me. Now, I look sharp and see just as clear. No hassles!

Avoid, even as a previous customer and with great insurance the doctor at this location demands to keep a credit card on file, they could have simply billed my insurance (like any other provider) but want to keep a card for no valid reason!I go once a year and my full exam is covered by Eye Med, there is no reason for them to keep a credit card on file. I strongly advise you to go somewhere else (where they don’t discriminate randomly).
This is the best eyeglass shop I have ever gone to. Not only does someone help you right away but the manager oversees and make sure the glasses are right for you. Its in Belmar and it is a real class act in there. They really steered me away from the wrong frames and were very careful with what I was getting. I am so happy with them.

The optometrists are awful. It infuriates me to talk about my experience so Im leaving it as a one star review but I highly recommend going across the street or anywhere else for your Eye Care needs.
Have been going here for years, new doctor is very rude. Suddenly has a policy that in order to try a a new brand of contacts you have to go in for a second appointment. This is not safe during a pandemic considering the very confined space of the premises. Also she was upset I was using my phone while she was inputing data on the computer and said either you get an exam or be on your phone. Wow talk about arrogance. Never coming back! Not one to write reviews but this was my worst experience ever.
I have always loved all the doctors at this LensCrafters. However, the ladies that work at the desk have never been very nice to me. For the last 8 years that I have been going to LensCrafters there I have never felt like they were ever friendly. As a matter of fact, one called me and left a very rude voicemail on my phone stating she was going to cancel my appt if I didn’t call back immediately. If it weren’t for the super friendly staff at LensCrafters and the awesome doctors I would not recommend this location.

I went there to get a quote to have my lenses replaced in my current glasses. I was quoted almost $400 for the lenses alone. And that was using my insurance. Then when they took my old lenses out they cracked the frames that I love! I was told I could get new frames at no cost however I still don’t want to spend $400 on my lenses alone! Now I am trapped to get something there and I don’t even have a working pair of glasses. Buyer beware

We stopped by two Lenscrafters in one day (Belmar and Cherry Creek, CO). Both were awesome! Dr. Anita was great - she really took the time to listen to my concerns. I ended up buying frames at both locations and at each, the staff (especially Tony at Cherry Creek) were super friendly, honest, and helpful. I highly recommend them.
I was helped by a woman named Alba who was extremely kind, patient, and helpful. A good selection of frames and some reasonably priced options. Would go again.
I was seen for an eye exam on 6-26-20. I have a very high prescription and my toric lenses take almost three weeks to arrive. I called on Tuesday 7-14-20 to check on the status and was told that they should arrive this week. On Thursday 7-16-20, when I called to check on the states again, I was told they would call me with the tracking information. At 5:30pm, I received a message stating that my lenses were never ordered because I had not paid for them. I called back, extremely upset, because I have a receipt and proof of payment for $518, that was posted to my account on 6-27-20. The receptionist, was terrible. She did not offer anything in the form of an apology, was rude and just said, well, my manager said you didnt pay. I am a nurse and my eyesight is crucial in my job. My current contacts are the wrong prescription and have rips in them. I called back, again, extremely upset, because I offered to come in and show proof of payment so I could finally get my contacts ordered and the receptionist told me that was not an option that her manager had to handle this, who was not in. I have had bad experiences at this store before, but this was the worst. I dont have my lenses, that were paid for, after three weeks. I have been a loyal customer to Lens Crafters for over 10 years, however, you have lost my business. I spend almost $2000 there every six months, on glasses and lenses for both myself and my daughter, but will never use Lens Crafters again because of this one store. I also requested that my prescription be emailed to me and that never happened. I am appalled at the ignorance, and complete lack of customer service that you are allowing with the support staff

Out of the 10 times Ive been in the store, Ive had probably 1 bad experience. I typically do get great service. Some stylish frames, but the lenses do scratch easy. Even the most expensive lenses that are scratch resistant. So buy the long term care plan if you do not buy glasses annually.
Everything was perfect. Like it always is thank you to the LensCrafters team at the Belmar. Especially Alba Garcia, she was fantastic and every way. The only reason I keep going back is to get helped by her.
It’s been a really long time since I bought glasses, so I wasn’t sure how much they should cost. The frames I found here were $250, and then the told me it would be another $250 for lenses (my prescription is -2.00). I almost didn’t get them, but they gave me some “deals” that brought the total price down to $375. Later I found the frames online for $137, and you can get lens replacement for under $100. I am seriously kicking myself for buying glasses here. The salesperson was nice though. Hope she at least gets paid well.
I am am established patient. I called 2 weeks in advance to make an appointment for myself and my family. They explained that I must give credit card number and if I no showed they would charge me and I agreed and gave my cc number. I received confirmation emails for all family members and there was no action item in those emails. I show up for my appointment and they had canceled my appointment. The lady said yes because you did not call and confirm after the appointment was made. I said you took my credit card number and I received an email confirming our appointments. She said yes, but you needed to call back and confirm. At this point I am very confused and say that doesnt make sense. I said did someone try to call me and she said no it was your responsibility to call us. I said I did call and you took my cc. What was the purpose of taking my credit card number, then? She just stared at me. I canceled all our appointments. Unprofessional, disorganized, and rude.

After having to choose a new LensCrafters location due to the Mills being closed, Im so glad I chose belmar. They were amazing!! They made starting over very easy and I was in and out of there in 30 min. The staff was amazing and they made getting new contacts a piece of cake. Highly recommend
Eye Med Customers beware...scratch that everyone beware. This place knows how to work the system of every insurance they accept and exactly how much they can charge for everything without having to submit to your insurance. While there for my eye exam I was asked, very aggressively, if I would like advanced dilation techniques for $38 instead of the drops. I said I had never paid for them before so why now, their response, Oh Eye Med probably pays for things more than $39 and we charge $38. I was also asked to pay $72.50 for my lens fitting, something I had never paid more than $40 for before. Come to find out they charge $80 for a lens fitting and I get a whopping 10% off. Target, just up the street charges $40 for the same thing. I ended up demanding my money back for the fitting, which was returned, but only after I came back into the store to also get my glasses prescription from them, since they already billed my insurance. I was not given my prescription. So now I am out my yearly exam, my prescription, and I have to get new insurance just to go and get a new exam to also get contacts because guess what. The 5 other optometrist places I called today Dont trust prescriptions coming from lens crafters so they highly recommend, even insist that I get re-examined to ensure my prescription is correct otherwise they cant put their name on an exam. On top of this, the Dr. at Lens Crafters breezed over me and hardly checked my vision, he was giving me hints of what the letters said as he was testing me...who does that? And to boot the associate I dealt with was rude and even hung up on the three way call with me, my insurance rep, and her when I started calling her out and asking tough questions. This place is a scam, go anywhere else for better service and lower costs.
Steven is so expert! He spent 30 minutes getting my frames just right and immediately diagnosed the issue I was having. Highly recommend! You will not disappointed with his service.

I recently had to have my NEW prescription lens replaced under the warranty/protection plan that Lens Crafters offer on there new products... I was told it may be up to 10 days to get new lenses... it only took 4 days and I was told I would have to drop them off and may take an hour or so to fit the lenses in my frames, they were able to replace and fit AND CLEAN my new glasses while I was there, no more than 10 mins and now my new prescription glasses back in perfect shape... (dropped them on a concrete sidewalk two weeks after I picked them up and had a huge scratch/gouge/scuff ... I thought I could deal with them as is ... after a few months I just went in and paid my deductible and had the lenses replaced .. .. no idea why I waited ... the respect and professionalism that LC treated me with was great... will continue to get my eye care and glasses there as the staff were really friendly and took very good care of me ... 5***** rating ... would give them a ten if I could ... thanks for the great service and quick turnaroundTIm Healy

After a very frustrating visit at a different location, the one without a lab close by. Maria help me get into any pair of glasses that I wanted, she was very knowledgeable of the specials that were going on and the best value and found me exactly what i needed!
Dr. was rude and impatient with me and my wife. Staff was friendly but I paid for scratch resistant coating on both lenses and the very obviously only did one!
I made an appointment through their website since they are part of In-Network with my employer and vision insurance. I wanted to get my eye exam just to make sure my vision is still fine but I did noticed at the night time my vision gets blurry when Im driving and have difficulty of seeing street signs from further distance. Dr. Hoover was an optometrist that saw me and he said my vision and optic nerves overall looks good, but he said I do need glasses at the night time. A very low prescription. After the exam I had Alba, one of the sales associate, she told me options on the lenses. Since my prescription is very low I didnt needed to spend too much money. After picking out the lenses I went ahead and tried on the frames. I liked Tiffany & Co and Burberry frames. I went ahead with the Burberry frame. Alba said usually takes a day or two to get my glasses but since the store wasnt as crowded, the staff member there were able to get my glasses within an hour. I used my FSA card to make a purchase after what insurance has covered. I tried on my glasses and felt so much better with the vision in the night time! I will go back again for sure if I need to replace the lenses or the frame since I have one year warranty!

Called ahead of time to make sure they had the frames I wanted in stock. The sales rep said yes so I booked an eye exam so I can pick up my frames in and hour. After paying for the eye exam I was told that they didnt have the frames I wanted in stock..
Ive never had any problems with my vision checks but. It would be nice if the doctor would give you eye contact when his talking to you. Fist time that I took my son the doctor was plesent but at times he did show harshness towards him my son has autism and its hard for him to stay still but its seems that his not very good with small children
I came down to this store a couple of days ago looking to buy a pair of Oakley Airdrop. When I walked inside their were three associates and one customer (white male) being help. The two other associates didnt even acknowledge me or offered me any assistance while I searched for those Oakley. While I was searching, a customer (white male) entered and was greeted and helped right away while I was still being ignored. I found the pair of Oakley I wanted to purchase, but it was only in matte black. I then decided to leave. I called the next day and talked to an associate named Alba. The same girl that ignored me when I was there the first time. I told her I wanted to purchase the Oakley Airdrop they had in stock, but wanted to get the ones in shiny black. She told me they had a pair in stock in that color and if those glasses didnt fit me she would place an order for a different size. I told her I would be down there the next day to take a look. I drove down the next day and walked inside, the three same associates were working again, I was the only customer in the store. Each of the associates saw me, but again I was ignored. A customer (white female) then came in and was greeted and helped right away. Then another customer (white male) entered and he was also greeted and helped right away, while I waited patiently for help. I found the pair of Oakley they had in stock, but they didnt fit. I proceeded to walked up to the girl (Alba) for help and told her I wanted to buy this pair, but needed a bigger size. She told me she couldnt help me because their computer was down and she didnt know if they had a different size. She told me to go home and look online for it myself, if they had my size, I should order it myself. What a waste of day and time. Thanks to the staff at LensCrafter...especially Alba...for no help at all.Just finished my tour of duty over Afghanistan three weeks ago. The people over there treated me better than the staff at LensCrafter.
I accidentally sat on my glasses which really bent my glasses. These ladies helped worked thier magic and fixed them like new. Thank you so much 🤗🤗

I went to this store with my mom to get her glasses a few weeks ago and we were helped by Steven. He was the absolute most helpful, sweet, caring and happy employee anywhere Ive ever had the pleasure of working with. He was very clear about the difference between different kinds of lenses (so far as bifocal vs. progressive) and he knew what he talked about. He didnt have to look at the computer when we asked a question, he just answered without missing a beat. He was very honest about what looked good so far as shapes of lenses on my moms face, he didnt just recommend the most expensive one. I read the other reviews and think that they must have visited before he was there. He went and fixed my moms old glasses for until the new ones came in (forgive me I dont know the technical names), fixed the eye pads, the ear hooks so they didnt sit sideways, buffed the lens so they werent so scratched, and cleaned the whole thing all over again. He payed attention to us and made us smile even after we had already left. Thank you so much Steven Im so glad we got to work with you!

Bought an expensive pair of Oakley rx glasses. The coating on the frames delaminated after 13months. Tried to get a replacement but sales rep would not help. 1 year warranty on frames? Go online and shop and don’t waste your time here. Totally regret giving my business to them.
I have horrible vision and I broke my glasses, ran out of contacts over the holiday weekend. Came Into LensCrafters on a Sunday afternoon got glasses in an hour and even under the budget I set myself! (I do have insurance though). The associate Stephanie was super helpful and figured out all my benefits.
The staff was very helpful, and took the time to make sure I was happy with my glasses. The doctor was great, and now I can finally see!

I took my 7yr old daughter to see if she needed glasses... the staff was very sweet but the dr. Was a total Douch bag! He kept tricking my daughter by showing her the same line of letters and then kept saying shes not even trying and was being so rude... then he went to put the eye drops in and forced my daughter eye open and squeezed them in then left us while my daughter was crying for over 15 mins. He was horrible with kids... do not ever take your kids here!
At the time of the exam, everybody is nice and friendly, but if you need to do any followup, then all the niceties go away.
This place cemented my desire never to step foot in a lens crafters ever again. Went for a simple contact lens check, as my left eye was giving me trouble and it was clear I need an updated rx. The dr I saw barely spent any time with me before concluding my rx hadnt changed at all. When I protested and told him that was clearly not true, he rushed through the motions to check my rx again, with poorly taken care of equipement that was scratched and dirty before deciding my left eye was unchaged but my right eye was now -2 (I had come in with -1.75/-1.75). He didnt even bother to verify the rx with the lens in.Because of that, I didnt notice until I got home that the rx I had left with was even worse then when I had arrived. I still couldnt see right, so I went to another doctor (NOT lens crafters) who was happy to check my eyes and sent me out with a accurate rx (right eye was back to -1.75, left eye -2).I called and spoke to Dr. Winnick and expressed my frustration about this. He was the absolute rudest person I have ever encountered, so much so that I ended up having to hang up on him so he would stop yelling at me on the phone. He was completely unable to understand why I was frustrated. He then had the nerve to call me back and accuse me of making the entire thing up. Unbelievable.
I have been a Lenscrafters customer for years in Florida and never had any problems. When I came to this branch in Denver, I didnt think things would be any different. However, the place was dishonest and unprofessional. I told the receptionist over the phone that I needed a contact fitting. She told me it would only be $69. When my eye exam was over, the girl at the desk told me that I owed $120. When I addressed what I was told over the phone, she said, Oh that was for just a glasses fitting. Before my visit I made it clear to them that I was there for a contact fitting. In the end, I was stuck paying the $120.When I went in to see the doctor, he gave me the a prescription where my left contact was much weaker than my right one. I could see clearly out of my right eye, but not my left one. When I went to a different eye doctor, I was told that I had the wrong prescription.This place would not let me order a box of contact lenses until I came back for a 2nd visit. I moved to Colorado Springs, but they refused to transfer the prescription to the Lenscrafters in Colorado Springs. At that point, I was over Lenscrafters, so I went to Elite Vision. The Optometrist at Elite Vision in Colorado Springs noted that the left eye prescription I was given was weak. I see so much better out of the sample lenses they gave me than the ones lenscrafters gave me. I ended up spending more money than I needed to at the eye doctor because of the mistakes this place made. I will not go back to Lenscrafters again.
I took my three grandchildren, ages 10. 7 and 18 months into the LensCrafters Store in Belmar to have the seven year olds glasses repaired. They were VERY badly bent and out of shape. I did not purchase these glasses at LensCrafters but at Walmart. I was greeted pleasantly by the Lead Technician, I so wish I had remembered his name. He treated me as if we were the best customers in the world. Please note, that my grand-daughters glasses are a fashion accessory, she wears them because her best friend wears glasses. They are just glass, but they are very important to her. He spend time with her and fixed them so they were exactly right on her face. He cleaned them and she mentioned she needed a new case and he offered her a choice of three cases! It was an amazing customer service experience. I used to buy my glasses at LensCrafters but stopped for some reason, but my next purchase will be at the LensCraters in Belmar! Thank you!

Then i was told some one was going to help, the guy just looked at me and went to help some one else and then to back, finally walked out of the store. Never coming back to this place, i rather drive the extra 8 miles to the next location.
