Great home style vibe. Big portions. Must try at least once. The quality is down a bit compared to when the previous owner ran the place but still good.

One of the last of this type of restaurant. The Mom n Pop cafe of old are quickly disappearing. Thank goodness the Original Heritage is still pumping out old school diner cuisine at more than fair prices. Its definitely here to stay and definitely on my top 10 list of local must try eateries. The food is delicious and the service supercedes the competition by far. If youre looking for a nice quaint little restaurant to enjoy a hearty meal with friends and loved ones, this is your spot.

Food is amazing always. Honestly I think its a little too packed sometimes. Its kinda gross when youre trying to enjoy your food but the person behind your back is coughing...lol. The staff are always nice as well.

Nice place servers are attentive and on point. Large portions and well presented. Food had natural flavor but no seasoning. Homemade bread is the best. I made my own skillet and my partner had chicken and waffles. All Food was prepared well. Salsa has too much cilantro for me.

Over priced! My Reuben sandwich was tough and chewy. The salad was just iceberg lettuce. $16. I wont go back. The Mexican food at the other Heritage is probably good but very over priced. I have other good choices for good Mexican food.

I live nearby, but I think this was only my second time coming here. I ate here when they first opened and enjoyed it, but was a little turned off by the bible verses in the windows. Those arent there anymore, Im not sure how long theyve been gone, but they recently updated the facade and made me consider trying it again.Im honestly not a huge breakfast person, but we went out as a family for breakfast here and I might be starting to see the appeal. I ordered an omelet with hash browns and they were some if the best hash browns Ive had in quite a while. My wife and daughter enjoyed their meals as well and it was pretty reasonable. Ill definitely have to eat here again and I wont wait 20 years this time.

Breakfast was great had chicken fried steak but the eggs were over cooked

I had breakfast for dinner, eggs Benedict and extra crispy hash browns. Both were very good! My friend had the chicken quesadilla with sour cream and enjoyed that as well.Our waiter was the greatest guy ever, excellent service.On the way out, we grabbed some blueberry muffins that were very tasty.

Excellent service and very tasty food. I had the 1/2 chicken barbecued with mashed potatoes and gravy. I was very satisfied. Yvonne had the potatoe skins they looked good. We will turn some other time. I would like to try the chicken and waffles.

It was some very good food, the price is alright, 13 bucks for the one I chose, (California chicken). Definently good investment for my breakfast. The bread is good, and theres a homemade option too which is cool. I dont know if its gluten friendly, though.

My husband and I love this place on E. Carson st. in lakewood ONLY. They have great servers who knows what there doing. The breakfast are big portion and soo tasty. There make fresh tortilla soup, fresh bake muffins, and there bread is from a local bakery. This joint is a must!!

I ordered a take out turkey dinner from Heritage Family Pantry for $18. A week later I dined in for the same turkey dinner and paid $27. Why? Heritage Family Pantry needs to understand their identity as a neighborhood bistro and stop ripping customers off because of Covid-19.

We read reviews on Google Maps as we were driving past this place one day and that is why we went here. The reviews were pretty good, so we wanted to try it out. They do give large portions. The food was good. The service was good, too. I got the roast turkey with stuffing and a baked potato. They make their own fresh bread. Many to choose from. It was all so much food I couldnt even finish it. We will go back here again.

Nice clean family oriented dinner with great customer service. Quality of the food is an issue. Food tasted bland for me and my party that accompanied me to brunch. We were given healthy portions but quality was sacrificed and we received quantity and not quality. I have been to many dinners in this area and this was by far the worst one of them all. I gave it 2 stars because the waiters did and outstanding job with customer service.

Im diabetic and these the most accommodating people Ive ever known.My favourite is their tortilla soup minus the cheese and tortillas. It instantly becomes an outrageously delicious chicken soup even without the Latin add-ons.Next, the build your own omelette also offers a lot of good eats. My favorite is spinach, mushrooms and a little onions. I also replace the cheddar with feta and the hash browns with sliced tomatoes or avocados. Trust me, both your taste buds and blood sugar will love you.

People are friendly here. Coffee keeps getting filled up. Food is great. My favorite is the Country Fried Steak with three eggs. It is a lot of food though so bring your appetite or better yet, another person to share it with.

Service wasn’t bad the food was horrible! The ham steak was pressed ham probably Fud ham. I told the hostess and she told the manager and he had no time to hear my complaint. When it was Heritage it was so much better. Very disappointed.

The food is okay the grit is not good and it has a slight odor when you walk in for nice customer service very friendly needs a little renovation on the inside.

Breakfast was good although when we came in the owner games us a snide look we sat by the door so I observed if he did this to anyone elses he did if your not a regular or Mexican the grid need help (you guys need to let them simmer longer as milk and butter) oh and remember the silverwear before or during the time you bring the food other then that it was good!

This is our familys favorite coffee shop. We visit frequently and are treated like family. The staff, cooks and management are truly wonderful people and do their best to make sure you enjoy your visit. We love sitting at the counter - it really gives this location its diner feel. This place is always been amazing we have been coming here for a few years now. It is a little bit of a drive for us due to the fact that we live in Orange County. But it is well worth it the food is always awesome and we always leave with dessert. My husband can never go past that dessert table.
