Great place to buy a car. Purchased a car for daughter there. Open and honest. At first I had some reservations when buying from a small used car dealership. That all changed once I sat down and spoke with Jabr. He worked with us to get a chance fair and reasonable price for my daughters new to her car. Will definitely buy from him again and/or send anybody looking for a used car there. Jabr came through with the plates, even mailing them out to us because he knew that we live over 50 miles away. Yes I drove that far to buy a used car and Im glad I did.

I came in a few weeks ago and I told myself I wouldn’t write a review until a few days have passed since the day of purchase.Now a month later I’m glad I made the purchaseThank you Jabr for the great deal I will come back for my next purchase.

My teenage son worked hard to save up for his first new car. He was very excited and I I was proud of him. When I was a teenager I didnt have the luxury to do so. So I wanted to make sure that my son was able to be independent and purchase his own vehicle with his own money. But we went to Town Auto and he bought a 2004 Honda Civic in May 2020 for $2600. The two gentlemen that work there were very nice and assured us that we were getting a great deal on the purchase. When I looked over the vehicle I noticed that there was a big bottle of coolant in the trunk. I didnt think anything of it. So my son purchased the car in cash and we drove away excited.There were some minor problems to the vehicle so we took it to a mechanic and he was able to fix with no problem. However as time went on I noticed that the coolant kept leaking out of the vehicle. Now, my son doesnt really drive a lot so he only used it for work Monday through Friday. But the coolant kept leaking out. So we took it back to our mechanic a year later. Lo and behold the mechanic said that the head gasket was blown out and has been since we got the vehicle. This is disturbing seeing as my son could have been in serious danger driving on the road. I was told that you can temporarily adjust the gasket to keep it from going out right away.Now the dealership knew this and unfortunately was not honest enough to tell us. But I guess my question is why would a dealership sell a car knowing that the engine isnt good?. I understand they need to make a living and survive. But you should never deceive or take advantage of others to make your living. Its just not right and its very evil. Im sure that these gentlemen can purchase nice cars and still make a good profit off of cars that are actually going to run and customers will be able to have them for a long time. Its really hard to trust dealerships because they are Crooks most of them. I would never trust Town Auto to purchase another car and I would be very careful when dealing with them because they are not honest and sell lemons.

I wanted to wait a few days before writing this just to be certain the car they sold me wasnt secretly a disaster. Turns out its not, and is in fact in better condition than I expected. Friendly folks who made the process quick and easy and were knowledgeable about any questions I had. There was some damage to the windshield which wasnt mentioned in the listing for the car though, but after pointing it out they went straight to offering an on the spot discount from the listed price to account for it, which was a real blessing. They seem like good folks overall, Ill probably recommend friends to shop here for solid used cars down the line.

Working with Cal and Jabr at Town Auto was a great experience. I found the car on Cars.com and was a little nervous to buy the car without testing it out first, but when I got there the car looked great, the interior was immacualte and it drove perfect. I flew one way from another state, and immediately drove the car 720 miles home with not one problem or concern. They worked with my flight timing so I could get the cheapest flight. And had the car detailed for the ride home. I will check them out first when I need my next car. Great price by the way, with lots of miles left on the vehicle.

Sold a car to a single mom that literally broke down the very next day. Mechanic said it was obvious that it was made to work long enough to sell.When asked if they would help fix or really do anything to make it right they refused and said to leave.We are aware that used cars are as is no warranty. But this was blatantly selling a broken car.

Bought my car from them at the beginning of August. I immediately had to replace the wheel hub, brake calipers, camshaft position sensor and change the oil within the first few weeks of having it. I chalked that up to buying used cars “as is.”Again, I bought my car in August. Today, my engine gave out on me. I was taking my son to day care, driving down the freeway and all of a sudden I can’t get over 25 mph. I took it to a shop to get it checked out and they told me to find a new car because the engine is toast..

I have bought two cars from them in the past and it was not bad besides he lost my paperwork. This time they just wasted my time. They said they would call me back and did not. I called them back to talk to a rude individual that was very short and I will never go there again. I will take my business elsewhere from now on
