Great parts and service department. Super helpful. A different dealer rushed my new car delivery inspection and a few small rubber plugs missing. Guys went out of their way to find me the parts, and gave them to me free of charge. Great service!

Neil Goldstein at Honda Universe walked me through the purchase of my 2021 Honda Odyssey. His professionalism, affable personality and overall knowledge made the experience a breeze. From start to finish, the entire team at Honda Universe were wonderful.

When I bought a car here back in April, the customer service was not great. I bought a car that I saw online. Then the next day they needed me to come back to drop off my old car to trade in, then they said they needed to discuss something else. They tried to say they gave me the wrong car, so if I wanted to keep the one I bought, the cost was going to go up. If I wanted the payment to stay the same, they said they needed to switch out my car for one with WAY more miles. (10,000 miles compared to 60,000). This was ridiculous. I ended up keeping my car and not changing my payment but they added 3 months to my contract. Then 5 months later, my battery dies. And when I tried to call to see if they covered it, nobody was answering. Everyone was very rude. I would NOT recommend buying a car from here.

I’ve been looking for a car for over 2 months and have gone to countless dealerships so by the time I got to Honda I was tired and just wanted a straightforward experience. My salesperson was Steve and he was great. We were able to negotiate a fantastic lease with him and his manager and they even helped me get insurance for my new car that same day. I love my new HR-V and get so many compliments on it. I’m from NYC and it was the perfect size for street parking. This week I received a tin of cookies in the mail from Honda Universe thanking me for my purchase. I’m so so happy!

I had an issue with my registration because of a discrepancy on my part with NJ DMV. Honda Universe sent John McGraw to the DMV with me to make sure there were no issues with registering the car. No other dealership wouldve done this. With Johns help I was able to get the car registered! Thank you John and thank you Honda Universe!

Our sales person was Jose he was very nice to us and was and still is very helpful. I wanted to purchase the car flat out 100% explained how I wasn’t looking to spend more than an x amount on the car. The they told me I would be charged more if I were to pay the car in full. So I then was put into having to finance the car then was told about a warranty and was never told that it was an extra $4,000!!!!! When I went in to talk to the finance manager he told me basically I have to pay it off then I could get my money back at the end of the day I’m looking at around 24,000 on a used car!

They SCRATCHED MY VEHICLE! Then claim they can only give 25% discount next service mainentaince. They are horrible people!! I am looking to civil suit! I took pictures before and after and marked the gas and milage before and after. The mechanics and dealers are cons. Couple a years ago had purchased a used vehicle not certified honda it was a Black nissan. Their was no sticker nor nothing on the paperwork as a purchased as is. And blue book had horrible listing on the vehicle. When you buy a used vehicle it supposed to be cheap and when it saids as is not supposed to have warranty to fix that and the price suppose to be lower if used and claims as is. This vehicle was used had dents and scratches and other stuff, instrument panels didnt work etc etc . price at the time was $7.3k for 81k miles on a black sonata not certified honda used and bad shape. They had a memorial feal going they didnt offer it to me smfh. My credit was excellent yet they claim was no credit smh liars. Spent 8 hrs in dealers before getting conned to buying used car overpriced . i bought a lemon for $14k the same beat up vehicle they mention wad $7k hours earlier. smfh. Warranty only lasted 3 months for additional $4k. These people messed up my credit for 6 months. I fixed it . i complained to GM they did nothing . the mechanics are alright but take for ever and try to add more stuff to list .. The dealers are no good.. You go looking for a good car for good price come out with tuna roll with no mayo and spit on it for 5x the price no refund no long lasting warranty nothing . dealers get zero stars. Mechanics get 3 stars. Dealers here sell you lemons . mechanics are slow deliberately to charge you more too. They used to be very good and trust worthy 15 years ago

Paul was our salesman he was great in the beginning but by the time we got to finance he acted aa if he had no idea that he told us numerous times car was 26,900 which we explained we could not go any higher. we were charged $4000.00 more than we should have paid we were told car was 26,900 then paid a little over 30,000. At the time of purchase my sister passed away son was in a car accident and I feel like we were taken advantage of my husband went down to talk to finance & The reply was oh well you signed for it what a hell of a way to do business!!!! Never again I work with the public and would never kick someone when they are down very disappointed in how they handled it & feel like if you made a mistake own up to it & fix it!!!! It wasn’t months later we went to them right away take care of it that would be the decent thing to do. We are not done with Honda & plan to seek legal action so please be careful everyone & make sure you read the fine print ... NEVER AGAIN very disappointed.......

By far the best Honda dealership out there! My family and I have been shopping around several Honda dealerships from NY to PA. Every dealership I have been to never treated me with the respect and honesty that Paul Dugan and his manager Glen Swenson have given me the very first moment I walked in with my notepad. They were transparent with there pricing and financing option. I am so astonished how easy and painless it was dealing with them, and I didnt sit there for hours before anything was over with. The other dealerships I went to I was there for about 5-6 hours and I didnt get to take the Honda Odyssey home, At Honda Universe I left there within 4 hours with my brand new Honda Odyssey. Received the nastiest attitude/service ever from the woman in the service department. After getting routine maintenance, I informed her that my car was covered in a dealer maintenance package. She was unable to find the information, although this was the THIRD time Id brought my car to this dealership and used the same package. Then, she snapped at me, telling me, fine, Ill just pay for it, cause I cant even. Throughout this whole ordeal, I was calm although shocked by her behavior. I left just to get a voice-mail from her later in the day apologizing, because she had in fact found the information to confirm I wasnt lying. Needless to say, I havent returned to this dealership since. Terrible customer service.

Amazing service. We purchased a CRV yesterday and it was the best experience I have had at a dealership. I worked with Steve and the sales manager Ozzie and they could not have been more accommodating. So many problems. Been a Honda owner for 20+ years. Unfortunately, Honda Universe seems to have, want to put it nicely, not the best judgement when it comes to scheduling appointments, timing issues and mechanics. Maybe its time for a Subaru.
