Not impressed. Got a 2017 outback in 2020 and so far they left the oil plug loose which dripped all over my brand new driveway (or didn’t replace the crush washer or both. Also used wrong socket size as it was rounded pretty good).Recommended replacing front breaks about 15k miles ago as it was β€œcoming up”. I bought my own parts without verifying and they have easily half or more their life left on the old brake pads.Don’t think they’ll be getting any of my future business

Rick and the whole team spent a lot of time helping me find the right vehicle and working to help me lease it. As someone who works in customer service it means a lot when people go above and beyond to help. Rick was very friendly and patient and all around wonderful at his job. I felt very welcomed and he really knows his stuff. The care and effort was refreshing especially with something as tough as buying a car. I was far from the most qualified but Rick kept working to ensure that we explore every option and avenue. They werent trying to push me into anything which made me find a car I really love. My Mazda3 is fantastic and has everything I want in a car and more. I wouldnt have been able to get this without the hard work of everyone at the dealership. This is for the Service department and their lack of transparent pricing and poor communication.First, they like to text you. Thats fine, but my estimate came came in a text link. Follow link and you have on the option to accept or decline everything they suggest. Given they added $1500 of maintenance that was not required I didnt want to accept this estimate, but since my car wouldnt start I wanted the repair work to be done before even considering maintenance.Second, it took two and a half days to do an hour long repair. This was a sensor for the brake pedal, and a battery replacement. Short repair, but they gave no expectation of when they would finish until I pestered them on the phone.Third, when I showed up to get the car the bill was different than the estimate. That is, the estimated price of the items I need to repair (not maintenance). They quoted $285 to fix the brake pedal sensor plus $65 to install the battery that I had from another store. When I showed up the bill was $600!!! Well, they charged me for a new battery. Got that removed, but the bill was now $400, not $350 like I expected. I paid it, because I wanted to get out of there and I was really happy it wasnt a lot more.Fourth, HIDDEN CHARGES. Yes, I looked over my bill to find a charge of $49.95 (the difference between my estimate and the bill). But the charge had no description. I had to call them to find out what it was. They were ready for this, because she knew right away what it was. At the bottom of my receipt, by the signatures theres a little box that mentions in small print that they charge 17% ($5 minimum, $49.95 maximum) for disposal and shop supplies. She tried to tell me that other places charge this too, but they just call it something else. Ummmm...NO! Other places charge for specific supplies and disposal fees, but not a general extra line. They didnt dispose of my battery and I paid for the part.Fifth, I did not get the impression that they cared to gain my business. There were several points where they could have improved the customer service experience. But they didnt. This was my first time there. It cost me $370 to install a $30 part that took an hour. They had some wiggle room to make me feel appreciated after making me wait 2.5 days...I will have to go to a dealer again, as my mechanic cant do everything. But I dont have to go to this one.

My wife and I had a horrible experience at Schomp Mazda and decided to give these guys a try.What a great idea that was!From the moment we walked in, we were blown away. Everything about the location just oozes class. They have one of the nicest, most modern showrooms Ive ever seen. We worked with Jaden, who proved to be one of the nicest, most professional sales consultants weve ever met. The entire time we were there, everyone made us feel like we were valued as a customer and respected as people, not just as a number on a monthly balance sheet. Jaden gave us great information about our new MX5 and worked with us to find a price that worked for us. When my wife couldnt decide on her preferred color, he never once tried to hurry us along and gave us all the space we needed. No pushy sales tactics, no high pressure, it was just professionalism from one end of the experience to the other. Danyal made the final paperwork a breeze as well. When we were all wrapped up, Jaden even made and presented us with a framed birth certificate with our photo on it with the car wed just bought. It was that kind of experience.When its time to get another Mazda, this is where Ill be going! Finally a great Mazda dealer to go with great Mazda cars. We really wanted a new Miata after owning one 20 years ago, but were bummed out by the shopping experience at Northern Front Range Mazda dealers. We decided to take a chance and make the drive to McDonald West and see if it was any better. It turns out not just better, but as good as any luxury brand dealer we’ve purchased from in the past. Tracy, our salesperson was a pleasure to work with. Management doesn’t play any games on price - they know how to create long term customers. We can’t recommend this dealer enough. Don’t even waste your time with other Mazda dealers. Just go here.

These guys were really great to me. The dealer I bought my vehicle from a week and a half ago installed a new windshield and didnt have the capability to recalibrate the camera so they made an appointment for the car at McDonald Mazda West prior to my purchasing it. I drove the vehicle down from Loveland, and McDonald discovered that the windshield that was installed by the other dealership was done incorrectly so they are having THEIR mobile windshield guy install another one, recalibrate the camera at the other dealers cost, AND they will come to me (I work in Fort Collins so this trip was a little bit of a hardship on me). Not only did they do this for me, they ran a free inspection on the car so I know whether there are maintenance issues coming up (fortunately nothing major), and they washed the car. If I were to have any trouble with my vehicle while down in this area, I would definitely take it to them. Thanks, McDonald, for treating me right!

Best car buying experience ever thanks to Jaden at McDonald Mazda! I recently purchased a new vehicle from McDonald Mazda. I was in the market for a new car and reached out to a bunch of mazda dealers in my area. They all said they would get back to me, but this was not the case. However, one salesmen stood out above the others and this was Jaden from McDonald Mazda. Jaden went above and beyond to help me find the right car. He returned my call instantly, texted back and forth with me, and worked tirelessly to track down incoming inventory. He answered any and all questions I had as soon as he could. He even came in on his day off to help me seal the deal and make sure I was taken care of. My wife and I came straight from work/school and hadnt eaten, and Jaden offered to pick us up food while we waited. I was kept in the loop while I waited for my car to arrive and was notified immediately upon its arrival. Picking up the car was smooth thanks again to Jaden. I had forgotten my phone cable and Jaden gave me his with no hesitation. This just shows the level of commitment Jaden is willing to provide for the people he works with. Having been here before, I expected to be treated in a better way, however it was the opposite, starting with the refusal to provide a simple tire repair service that was just telling me that I could wait a couple of hours to diagnose the tire repair. Jodi, a service advisor, simply tells me that they do not have time for this job, it shows nothing of intention to provide good service to the client, thanks to the intervention of his colleague at that time who showed concern for doing his job well, he suggested that I come back in a couple of hours to have a solution. After the suggested time, I returned to the place where this young man told me that at the suggestion of the service manager I should bring the car to make the claim for the replacement of the tire, it was irreparable. Second day I returned with the car, as they do not have the tire, I must wait another day, the next day I accept the conditions for the new tire but I must wait another day since it was too late to install the tire on the car (almost 4 pm) they tell me that it will be ready the next day in the afternoon ... I cannot go to pick up my car on the 3rd day so the service manager tells me that there is no problem and I can return on the 4th day ... I arrived on the agreed day and surprise surprise the car was not ready !!! They hadnt done anything ..... in the middle of apologies they told me that I have to wait another 20+ minutes or come back later to pick up the car..... I decide to wait and those 20 minutes turned 40 so I paid the bill. The car was finally ready after such wait, I open the door and surprise !!! In the photo you can see how they return the car and asked me if I have a brush to clean it!!! I saw a total disregard and nothing to worry about to at least providing a good service, having a satisfied customer. In many places at least they place a paper mat to protect the carpet .. ... in this mazda service they are not interested in doing it .... although they should regardless of the car model it is my property and it is not cared for in the way I expect from a service ... it is necessary to say it: I lost meetings in my company waiting for something that would have been solved in a more efficient and timely manner, the photo shows the final quality that is given to the client no matter how much money the service represents ... the service should be done in a diligent, timely and efficient manner and decent quality.When I bought the 4 tires for my car a year ago with a complete service and customer service was a lot better.

I recently purchased a used Mazda 6. The entire experience was fantastic and everyone that I talked to was helpful and knowledgeable.The reason that for three stars instead of five is for two reasons, both regarding extras added on.First, the quote for the Colorado Package from the sales rep was considerably less than what was quoted during the final purchase. This was even after the price was reduced. Against my better judgement, I still purchased the package. I can only blame myself for accepting the price, but I did feel a little bit deceived.Second, I was informed at the time of purchase that I could expect a call to set up an appointment for the application of the Colorado Package within a couple of days. It has been three weeks now. It took several calls and a couple of voicemails, which were never returned, to finally hear from someone. All I was told was that I may have slipped through the cracks. How is this acceptable?I really wish that I could give five stars, but the lack of communication and failure to follow through has been disappointing. All told, great buying experience, just avoid the extras.

The McDonald West service department was less than helpful assisting me with a service repair. The work done by the technicians was quality and I have no complaints in that area. However the costumer service, from the Service Manager Blaise Flores, was inexcusably rude, pompous, and lacking in any ability to provide even the minimum expectation of customer service. She neglected checking our vehicles warranty, or assist us in covering the damage to the ball joint and wheel barring under warranty. Blaise Flores also did not see fit to initiate calls to update us on our vehicles status or what the technicians had reported during inspection. Many calls I made were redirected to individuals who were the medium. As well as while attempting to speak with her while in person at the shop, she spoke through her employees and never attempted to speak to me, while standing in the same room as me. Once my service was complete I was informed I left my sunglasses, I stated I could not return to get them immediately as I was traveling for work. I asked if I could pay for the glasses to be shipped to my address, where in I was denied this option and told β€œwe can not help you” When I returned to get the glasses, they were not at the service department and could not be located. Needless to say the lack of customer service at the service department of Mazda West was astounding. I do not recommend working with this location, as the management is providing a work culture that encourages incompetence and lacks accountability.

I brought my Mazda vehicle here thinking they could pin point an issue that my regular mechanic could not figure out. My experience started really good, service department was very communicative and listened to my history of the vehicle and asked the right questions. The next day they called me off the issue and that it had been fixed. Within 40 miles of driving it, noticed the issue was still present. I brought it back anf the new diagnosis was a water pump, the fix was over $4600. My vehicle is a 2010 cx9 with 46k miles, Ive only owned it for a couple of years and the issue has been around for at least a year. The vehicle was very well taken care of and maintained by the previous owner, how is it possible the a water pump can go bad with so low mileage. Unfortunately, the design of the pump is what makes it so expensive and is a known problem on this vehicle. Also the transfer case, which another shop diagnosed as the issue, is a common problem on these vehicles. I declined the fix and spoke to a salesperson, Zack, about selling them this money pit of a car, and at first the salesman was very courteous and said he would look at it, while waiting for my car to be brought by service personnel, Zack went to the back and NEVER came back. I even told another sales person that the vehicle was ready to be looked at and to let Zack know, but Zack never came out, I left after 20 minutes of waiting. Its not a good sign when Mazda doesnt even want to buy a Mazda vehicle. I went to Stil Tehar before coming here, because their service department was way worse and they also played dumb when asking how much they would buy it for. Ive always been very hesitant going to Dealerships for service because of their high prices and previous experiences with other dealerships, but I figured these guys had good reviews and who else would know a Mazda vehicle. But after this Ive lost all faith in dealerships service department and Mazda/Ford products (this vehicle was made when Ford and Mazda were partners). They released a very low quality product with major design flaws designs (transfer case and water pump to name a few). This also affects Ford Edge, Lincoln version of Edge. If youve read this far into my post, I would recommend going with a local Shop that is ASE certified, avoid dealerships service departments (keep in mind they get commissions off of your services, so more they find, the more they make) and avoid Mazda vehicles at all costs...They are huge money pits. I hope this helps and saves you time and lots of money.

What a great experience! After visiting 7 other dealerships, we were instantly impressed with the salesman and the Mazda cx-3. Rickey spent a lot of time going over all of the technology and features in the car and was so friendly and fun to work with. So many times you get a high pressure sales or the salesman wastes your time, but not here! The negotiations on price were fast and fair. We have never had a Mazda before, but this car had so many safety features standard. Such a great value vehicle. thanks

We bought a used CRV-2017 with 10K mileage from them back in March-2021, our contacts were James Park & Jonatan Galindo. FIRST, they sold the car with 3 NAILS still intact on the tires!! They were not even accepting their mistake luckily we had taken pictures during the test drive with tire pressure warning. The SECOND and most heartbreaking part was they sold the car with major AC components damaged and gonna cost us $2500+ to get it fixed!!! We would not know AC issue in the middle of winter SO DO NOT trust their claim regarding a fully inspected vehicle (Our Biggest Mistake), they did not even bother to change the DIRTY cabin filter so of course they would not tell us about the AC issues!!! Their service department who is in charge of inspection is really incompetent, to say the least.*Update: After multiple tries to contact them, the person who called says its our fault for not having gap insurance & HONDAs fault for making the useless car, its everybody fault but their inspection team that failed to notice a basic issue.**02nd Update : They say We take great pride in our inspection process but dont even turn on the AC button to see if its working or not, or check if the tires have NAILS before giving it to a client for test drive an unsafe car (With warning still light on), WOW!! SERIOUSLY?? You are fooling nobody. The dealership focuses more on selling Gap-insurance (at double price) than actually explaining or checking the vehicle. Obviously who does not like extra commission (greed) right?? By the way we are yet to receive breakdown of what we paid for.... THEIR INSPECTION TEAM IS A COMPLETE JOKE!!!! :( :(

After paying a truly shocking amount for a diagnosis and transmission flush, I got in my car and the check engine light was now on. I was NOT told anything about this while they were going over the paperwork with me, Jodi literally told me everything was good to go. I asked them what was going on and someone told me β€œoh it has all sorts of other codes that need to be fixed”.. without so much as an apology. I have no way of knowing that they didn’t cause this to happen by damaging a wire or something while doing the diagnostic. I would feel more apt to give them the benefit of the doubt if they had mentioned this BEFORE I paid my bill. At best you all have poor communication, at worst you are straight up dishonest. Either way I would not recommend getting service here and I regret giving them my business. πŸ˜”

My vehicle was dismantled and damaged by another mechanic and Zack in service talked me through the whole process. You guys fixed our vehicle and put us in a rental. They were very nice and helpful but they had charged me the 160 dollar fee to tell me that my blind spot was fine and the issues I had were fine but when I left my blind spot monitor malfunction light was going on I could get it off for a month and then I finally got fed up with it and had it looked at by someone else and the Mazda dealership left my mirror unhooked and that was cause ing the bsm to not work I almost waisted another 140 to replace my mirror because of and error

Just got a first time service today on my CX-5 and I got to say I am thoroughly impressed with Zach & the team. Came in for a recall, but had them fix a stripped stud as well. I called around quite a bit and price to fix that was high. They were the most reasonable and got me in right away. Upon further inspection, they found 3 stripped studs and sent me a picture. I was worried that it was going to be a lot more $$$, but they did their best to get me a good price. They were prompt and had great communication. The video inspection they do is also a really cool feature they offer. I trust this place and would recommend it.

I had an appointment scheduled this morning, on my day off, for an oil change on our 2016 Mazda. We have used this location before for an oil change, and they recently sent us a postcard advertising a lower price for our next oil change. This post card was not a coupon, did not have a barcode, etc., but instead was specially tied to the VIN on our car. When I arrived, the woman at the dealership refused to honor the price on the postcard, and unfortunately I had misplaced the postcard in-between making the appointment, and arriving at their location. I asked to speak with the manager, and the woman refused, stating that that person would say the same thing- no postcard, no discount. I explained that it was not a coupon, and had my VIN printed on the card. She again refused, and made no attempt to look up the price. At this point I left, as I was not going to pay their normal oil change price.Overall an exceptionally disappointing experience, and a complete waste of my time on my day off; compounded by the fact that we purchased our new, 2019 Mazda SUV at their location last summer. I will not be using them for anything other than warranty/recall issues… services that they cannot refuse to provide.

He is true professional, knowledgeable, patient in the whole process, and explicitly explains all car features and purchasing options . His approach is quite relaxed. There was no pressure from him. WOW. I don’t even know where to begin. This was my first time purchasing a car and to say I was nervous would be an understatement. I spent MONTHS going back and forth on what I wanted and what I could afford, emailing Brad & Viktor consistently. They were beyond patient with me and never pushed to get a sale. They gave me all the time I needed and let me work on my own timeline.As I finally decided to come in for a Test Drive I was scared I would be pressured into purchasing something, but Brad and Viktor were really just there for knowledge and support as I looked around. Scheduled a test drive on a Monday for that coming Saturday. James checked in the morning of to confirm, the salesman Viktor was standing out front waiting for me and my fiancΓ© with the car ready to test drive. Great car, reasonable price, willing to work with us to get into the car. I never felt like I was just a 24 y/o buying a used car, I felt valued. Viktor was outstanding, James, the general manager, personally greeted us within the first few minutes of out visit and remembered our names. Raul in finance was efficient and friendly. We bought a new car a Mazda CX 5 for the first time in our marriage, saved for years and years to be able to do it, First interaction was fine, The dealership guaranteed us to fix a small mar on the bumper and they picked it up and fixed it. But however,it came back with over spray and a ding and scratches on the side. (so I was better off without their service in the beginning).I brought the matter up to the salesman and the supposedly manager, and they spoke to the owners? Their comment to me was they were understaffed and couldnt pick it up. I live over an hour and a half away, If they are under staffed maybe they should shut down till they can resolve that. Very bad communication as well, took over 2 weeks to get answers. Point is Nobody cared to help, and they wanted me to waste a whole day of work, to take care of their mistake. It has not been resolved as of yet. No phone calls or follow up since then. I DOUBT THEY CARE ENOUGH TO CALL BACK WITH THE BLOG/REVIEWS I HAVE SEEN SINCE THEN. James and Danyal were great to work with. The whole transaction was painless. Due to COVID-19, I did the majority of the transaction over email and they both were very responsive. Came in to sign paperwork which took maybe 30 minutes. My car wasnt at the dealership on the day that I came to sign the paperwork but they lent me a loaner and the car did show up on the day they said itd be there. Overall, I think this is a great dealership. If youre in the market for a car, I recommend McDonald Mazda West, especially Danyal and James.

He kept putting dealership documents in front of me to SIGN which stated that I was applying for a loan. I kept refusing to sign the documents and he became rude.. even insulting the bank I use, telling me how hard they are to work with. Not very professional. I purchased a 2017 Jeep Renegade from here, i traded in my car cause I was having to put to much money into it to fix it, 2 days later my passenger side exterior door handle came off, I tried setting up an appointment for it to be fixed with McDonald Mazda, where I purchased it, and they kept giving excuses when I would show up to get it fixed, then ended up telling me it wasnt there problem and I should take it to Jeep or something. Still havent gotten it fixed cause I cant afford to put more money into a car, hence doing this trade. Salespeople were great until this tho.
