There are some honest, knowledgeable and friendly professionals at Spin Bike Shop! My experience with them was wonderful, from the quick phone call to find out more information on their services to the actual in-store service. I called looking for information on tune ups and they walked me through the process so I would know what to expect. When I brought my bike in, they brought my bike to the mechanic who did a thorough check. It turned out my bike was in better shape than I thought, so they filled the tires with air and lubed up the chains a little bit at no cost. They also gave me some maintenance tips as well. Super impressed with them and recommend going to them if you want your bike gear in good hands!

Helpful staff and an established local business that participates in the community actively. Youll often see them set up at local cycling events offering free repairs to get riders going again.Ive stopped in for a handful of small pieces of gear and staff has always been helpful. They have a decent selection of gear for road cyclist especially and pretty good selection for Wahoo trainer stuff as well.If you decide to join in their group rides, be ready to move FAST. Dont bring a slow gravel bike with bikepacking bags like me.

Bottom line is they get stuff done right, for a good price, and usually faster than the quoted timeframe. Are they the most chatty bunch ever? No. But I don’t go there for the conversation. Don’t hesitate to go to Spin!

Stopped by while riding for a quick adjustment on my stem height. They were busy but made the time to help me out. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Bought a Santa Cruz frame from them 20 plus years ago and the vibe is still the same. Highly recommend the place!

The day before my first triathlon I decided to switch bikes. Took the bike out for a quick ride only to find the gears weren’t shifting. After a 20 minute panic attack I took it in and shamefully begged them to take a look, as I was due to drop the bike off at the race within the next few hours. Joe was an absolute saint! He reassured me all was not lost and quickly tuned the bike up. Apparently the wire thingy for the shifting stuff was a spaghetti noodle and should have been a guitar string (all very technical stuff). Cannot recommend the experts at Spin more, thanks Joe!

I finally have my replacement bike and I couldn’t be happier! I absolutely love how this all turned out and I have to give Mitch at Spin Bike Shop in Lakewood ALL of the credit. Seriously! Talk about going above and beyond to help a customer out!...🥰 He went way out! Basically, the frame on my new 2020 Diverge (still a baby at less than a month old) was damaged. I took it back to Spin to see what could be done. That’s when Mitch took the bike from me and said “I’ll take care of it”... from there he called Shimano, Praxis, and Specialized in order to start a warranty claim, and about a month later (and all of this during a pandemic mind you), I now have the brand new 2021 Diverge frame, a whole new GRX groupset, and a few other “bells & whistles” that just go way beyond your average bike shop. I also asked him if he could “pimp my ride” a little bit which he did awesomely on. Who does all that?! Anyway... just call me seriously impressed... cause what he/they did was pretty darn cool!

We bought two foldable bikes and wanted a professional opinion/help in getting them ready for the season. Brought them to Spin, (good reviews, even though thats a 30 min drive for us). The service guy looked at them, priced the service and told us the expected deadline to pick them up. Sounded a little standofish, but hey, all I cared about was good treatment for the bikes.We picked them up an evening before heaidng for vacations (bikes coming with us) and upon arrival imediately went for a spin. Were super disappointed with the results. Breaks squeeking like a starving bluejay on one, gear shifting not working properly on the other one. Break pads touching the tire (aka not properly adjusted), too. And these were the things we were told tune up includes. So ultimately, disappointed with the quality of the service and feel like weve wasted $140...

Ive never taken a bike to a bike shop before, so I (luckily!) found Pat and his team via a search of local businesses. The great on-line reviews they had helped make the decision. The service was amazing and the bike rides better now than it did when it was brand new! Price was reasonable. And Pat and everyone there was incredibly nice, professional - just great!

In my opinion, hands down the best bike shop around!! I’ve been coming here for 10 years and they never fail to help you out. Spin bike shop is incredible. First, it’s so clean and organized, which is not typical in a bike shop. Second, they are so nice and helpful. I needed a rare part for my bike and not only recommended a shop to get it but also stored my bike while I went searching. Also, this is all happening mid-quarantine when every bike shop is booked solid. I checked with 3 bike shops on turnaround time to get a tune up. The others were taking 2 weeks to a month. Spin had my bike back to me within 3 business days. Everyone who called me or that I interacted with in the store was so nice and helpful. Just the best bike shop in Northeast Ohio.

One third of the gears on my bike had not been working for a couple of years but I didn’t want to take it to the shop because I thought it would be expensive and just an annoyance. I finally took it to Spin after researching shops in the area. I was greeted and immediately helped. I assumed I would be sold a package and end up spending money on some tune ups I didn’t really need, but that was not the case at all. The gentleman (I didn’t get his name), quickly fixed the issue for a great price and didn’t try to sell me on anything else. I was very pleased with the price and efficient service I was provided and all of my gears are now properly working! I highly recommend Spin and will definitely be back.

I walk in nobody greeted me stood there and somebody finally walked up and walked by me about three or four times then I ordered part for one bite and then I order parts for a second bike and he wanted up giving me the wrong parts to the first bike drove all the way home had to drive all the way back out and then they charge me additional $2.12 from their mistake it was all bad then some of the other employees try to get involved in the money transaction which I dont need three people to ring me out where was the three people when I needed the parts SMH

Spin bike shop has been taking care of me and my bikes for 5 plus years. My first experience was as a new cyclist in February when I came in to gather information about purchasing my first “real” bike. They were super knowledgeable, took the time to talk to me about what I am looking for, and was able to recommend the bike that I still love to this day (went into another bike shop earlier...they didn’thave time to talk to me even though there were no customers in the shop). During my first half Ironman race, I crashed my bike twice, and barely finished the bike with one brake, one working pedal, and one arm on the aerobar pad. It took a few weeks, but they worked with me to put my bike (a brand they don’t sell) back together and racing again, even with my power pedals that they didn’t originally sell me. Incidentally, this bike was purchased used, and Spin, after looking it over, discovered a half eroded front fork that might have resulted in a horrible accident (they found a replacement fork after calling the company). More recently, I was looking to add to my now growing stable of bikes, this time, looking for a stiffer, racier ride. There was a bike on sale that I inquired about, but after working with me, recommended against the bike due to the fit. Still looking for my N+1, and hope to give them my business when the new bikes become available again in the fall.Truly a very special place with very special people. They have my loyalty and recommend them without reservation.

Recently I got some routine maintenance done at spin. Prices were fair and they got it done in exactly the timeframe they gave me. This was my first time taking a bike to a shop. Everyone was super helpful. I plan on going there for all my cycling needs in the future.

This place is fantastic. Everyone is always very helpful and friendly. I’m not a very dedicated or knowledgeable rider but they answer my questions without making me feel dumb or pressuring me into buying things beyond my budget or needs. I recently had a time sensitive bike repair emergency and they went out of their way to squeeze me in and get me back on the road right away. While joe worked some real magic on my junky hand me down bike (seriously it’s like riding a whole different bike now) Tim kept me entertained with some really helpful gear chat and best practice bike tips for casual riders like me. A real Cleveland gem!!!

Highly recommend!! I stopped in to get a quote for servicing my bike that I wrecked a few years ago. They took it right back, asked a few questions, and had me out of there in 15 minutes with my bike FIXED even though they clearly had their hands full. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff (looking at you, Joe!) and social distancing practices in place for those still weary about venturing out. I will certainly be bringing my business back for any future bike needs!

I took my bike to Spin Bikeshop for a tune up in 08/07/2020 to prepare for autum as I prefer riding in cooler weather. I was prepared to pay the $70 price confirmed over the phone for the Quick Tune plus (the price is not shown on the website at this time). When I took my bike there, the guys recommended there were some other things that could be adjusted / fixed, in all what was supposed to be a $70 tune-up turned out to be $91.80 (including taxes), which I was fine with. What I was not fine with was the later charges and the amount of disappointment that I still feel a month and a half later.After the initial tune up (and the $15 of recommended extra adjustments, I was left with a bike whose chain skipped as I rode it. It is very frustrating to go on a bike ride when the chain skips after every 5-6 revolutions. I called the shop, they told me theyd look at it and take care of it. I returned to the bike shop some weeks after the original Quick Tune plus so they could fix the chain skipping.I was charged a further $10.80 (including taxes) for what they indicated needed a derailleur adjustment. In my most humblest of opinions, this adjustment should have happened with the Quick Tune. After taking the bike to get the chain skipping fixed, I test drove it outside their shop which is a flat road, the chain didnt skip so I left under the impression the issue had been fixed, but feeling cheated that it cost a further $10.80.When I took the bike out on the towpath trail at Cuyahoga Valley National Park where the terrain is not flat and requires more force to pedal than one would on flat land, I noticed the chain would again skip every 5-6 revolutions. This bike ride turned out to be one of the most frustrating in my life. Having to constantly re-adjust your pedaling because the chain skips is not my idea of a fun ride. The $100+ spent on tuning up the bike should have taken care of this issue. Hell, in some cases $100 gets you a cheap brand new bike. I will not go there again to spend money on something that should have been fixed from the start.To make a long story short, if you dont want to spend more than you intended, dont go to Spin Bikeshop. If you want to be satisfied with the service they render on your bike, dont take your bike to Spin Bikeshop. If you dont want to still be frustrated months after, dont take your bike to Spin Bikeshop.

Stopped by for a tune-up on a couple of bikes, fully intending on dropping them off for a couple of days and paying for a full tune-up on each bike. The guys in the shop got the bikes on the stand immediately, and with every opportunity to set them aside and later charge me for the full tune-ups ($140 worth) that I fully intended on getting, they made a few adjustments, took one of them for a test ride to shake out a squeak, trued a couple of wheels, declared a full tune-up was unnecessary at this time and charged me a total of $30. I was in and out on a Friday evening in 30 minutes. That sort of honesty and expediency will certainly bring me back. Thanks Spin, you just made my weekend much easier.

Every time Ive been here the staff have been very attentive and courteous. Actually, the first time I came it was with a badly disassembled bike (Id just made a cross-country move) and they had my bike back together within a day, good as new, and charged me the cost of a tune up, which was more than fair. Otherwise, prices seem industry standard. Great place!

The staff here is superb!!I drive one hour round trip to have them service and fit my bike. (I also bought it at Spin).The fit is one of the most important determinants of a comfortable ride that also affords great performance. They are excellent in their attention to detail and problem solving.Each staff member is a cycling enthusiast yet able to relate to the average cyclist. They are friendly and informative.A shout out to BRIAN for the fit.I can also state that my friends and I are far from novices and all feel the same way.

Here for USAT Nationals race weekend and after hitting up two other bike shops this place was by far the friendliest and most accommodating. They cater to high end performance bikes and the staff was super helpful! Highly recommend for the needs of a performance cyclist and triathlete.

Really disappointed in Spin in Lakewood. Have been looking at buying a road bike from them and having my MTB serviced by them. Stopped in 6/21 and the door guy was extremely rude. Asked me what I wanted before he’d even let me in. Told me they have nothing under 1000$ before I could even say what I was looking for. Needless to say, they won’t be servicing my MTB and I will be going to a different shop to purchase my road bike.

Went here twice in the past two weeks to buy a bike and both ppl that greeted me each time were super rude and not helpful. Once I was allowed in to look at their selection they immediately said ‘what am I here for’ in a rough tone. I’m here to buy a bike obviously. And also blurted out we have no bike under $599 etc as if I couldn’t afford anything! Terrible experience both times. Will never go back. Bought two bikes at eddys bike shop instead! Don’t go!

As a 31 yr old quasi-pro bmx rider, I go nowhere else besides Spin for all my riding and mechanical needs. The staff are literal wizards of the bike world and all the work is done fast and fairly priced. If your looking to buy a bike, fix a bike or if you can even say the word bike, head in to Spin bikes and get your roll on!

My pedal got damaged on a ride. I was able to stop in and get swapped in about 10 minutes. A huge convenience that they accept ApplePay, as I don’t bring a wallet when I ride. Thanks, Spin!!

Outstanding service - I’m new to Cleveland and needed a good year round shop. So far, with three different bikes I can’t stump these guys. They can deal with anything, many times on the spot. Great with bikes and people, Spin takes excellent care of both.

Bought my first serious road bike from them 6 years ago and never have considered patronizing another bike shop. Over the years they have corrected my numerous attempts at home adjustments and maintenance, and built more road bikes for me than I care to admit. All of the staff are outstanding and my special thanks to the mechanics for putting up with me for the last 6 years. What would I do without Spin? Take the time to try their summer group rides! They have a group that will fit a novice rider up to groups that I couldnt imagine trying to keep up with.

I was far away from my own bike shop and I needed a light for my helmet and my seatpost adjusted. They were extremely helpful. Rob was really great to work with. I would definitely recommend them.

I bought a bike rack for my car here just as I was leaving for a road trip vacation. When I arrived at the store, they installed the bike rack onto my car for me, and even taught me how to install it myself for the future. The customer service here was so good, I’d recommend going to Spin over buying something online. The price was also comparable to online prices.

TL;DR: These guys are awesome - you should go here.I stopped in at 6:30pm on a beautiful summer Friday evening and they were quite busy. Even though they were busy, they offered to check out my bike on-the-spot while I asked for help buying some other gear. The store was in good order with great displays and had even better mechanics/bikers! They had the bottom bracket that my bike needed in stock and fixed it on the spot. It was super affordable, considering the esoteric/weird tools that I would need to do the job myself.Definitely will be stopping back at this spot. Cheers!

I cant even express how great the folks at Spin are. Every experience weve had here has not been just good, but above-and-beyond. We took my daughters bike in after a wreck had caused some things to go off kilter. Their first reaction was to ask if she was OK (she is, and their concern was genuine and is appreciated). They immediately fixed the issues and even righted a few things that were amiss previously while giving it a good once-over. They called it a safety check and sent us on our way, with a bike in better shape than it was even before the wreck. All this cheerfully, on a busy Saturday, and with no appointment. If I could give more than 5 stars I totally would - best bike shop ever.

Hadnt been here in a couple years and my second visit was WONDERFUL! We had Rob helping us and he is awesome. Didnt rush us on anything and let us try out as many bikes as we wanted. Super patient and helpful, we spent 2 hours there! I learned quite a bit. Tim, the door monitor, was rude. Popped open the door and asked what I wanted. I told him that I’m looking for a road bike. He reluctantly let me in, but not before he told me there wasn’t anything in the store for less than $1200.Needless to say, I won’t be returning.

I was greeted as soon as I came through the door . I asked for bile locks and they had a plethora to choose from . The person who helped me answered all my questions and gave me the range of security for each type of lock.When I asked for information about bike riding laws he had a pamphlet for me . Awesome and helpful experience.
