Before getting sober, I bought beer and liquor there a lot and had excellent customer service. Right before my last drink, the woman working there at the counter, Christina, had some very positive feedback even though she was working a liquor store counter and the things she had to say probably saved my life. Im now the floor manager at my sober living environment and Im humbled to say its entirely due to her feedback that I changed my route and my ways; its because I know her that I wound up here and that says far more for the customer service then finding what I was looking for ever could. My deepest thanks.

Clean place...small..but good selection... this is my new spot because all the ones on colfax so gross and usually have cops at them dealing with homeless

I came in late after helping a friend move all day and the woman working there was very friendly and looked for what I was trying to find. It was a nice change in a lot of the liquor stores where the person accepting my money barely looks up. I will definitely go out of my way to see her again!

I am very pleased with how they dealt with a bad review I had given them a few months back. I am a 6+ years customer and I have never had any issues with poor customer service except that 1 time. And the new owners went out of their way to ask me about what had happened, and why I was dissatisfied, and how they could make it right. I was very impressed with how they handled it. I definitely will continue to be a regular 🙂

Poor boy liquor is now under new management and WOW! They have totally turned this store around and its very neat and clean! The employees and the owner Raman are all wonderful people and I enjoy shopping here! Definitely my favorite liquor store in the edgewater area

This place has improved drastically since the change in ownership. I used to avoid this store like the plague until I found out they changed management, and now its great! I certainly dont miss the grumpy old owners. The selection has only gotten better, and so has the staff. And thank goodness for that, I was walking way out of my way for cigarettes just to avoid the grumpy old owners. They were awful. Very glad to see how the store has improved!

I expected more because it appeared they cleaned up. Turns out just a new owner and same poor employees. Staff was rude, unprofessional, loud and the store smelled strong like marijuana. Shirts advertised marijuana so I’m sure they smoke in the store. A few nights the last few weeks they didn’t even stay open until 12 as listed. Disappointed.

Super friendly and helpful staff. When it comes to beer, their selection is top notch. I wish they had a better hard alcohol selection but it is a small place. For a local liquor store they are fantastic! They greet most locals with a hello and it really is a neighborhood friendly liquor vendor.

Cant find better prices anywhere around and the employees are always courteous and helpful.

Its a tiny, local liquor store, with an OK selection, good prices, and friendly staff. Its about what one would expect from a small liquor shop. Its exactly what the branding (or lack thereof) promises.Youll get what you need to get smashed, but its not a connoisseurs paradise.
