A great selection of wines or beer

My rating and review is exclusively focused on beer. This shop has a decent selection of craft and macro beers. My primary gripe is the combination of how few beers are in refrigerators and how many IPAs are left on the shelves, facing towards the window for who knows how long. Even in cans, protected from sunlight, the lack of refrigeration of an IPA is constantly attacking the quality of the beer.Outside of the refrigeration issue, they have an adequate selection of local brewery offerings as well as macro breweries. Their build your own six pack selection is above average.Simone’s is probably five minutes drive up Detroit and dwarfs their offering. If you’re looking for real variety, I would suggest Simones’s or Rozi’s Wine House. In a pinch or if you have a standby that they carry, Cap & Corks is fine.

Great local carryout. They have a great selection of wine and beer. After I began frequenting Cap & Cork the stock of my go to beer was often low. They quickly added more to their next order to accommodate me and the 2 other people that buy it weekly. The wine layout is right by the checkout and a good deal usually catches my eye as well.

A friendly little liquor store. Very nice interior layout, and wide selection of beers and wines. And yes they also have liquor. Good prices, good service. Also the only place Ive found nearby with a good orange ginger beer.

My go-to beer and wine shop in Lakewood! Good selection (especially local options). Friendly, helpful staff. And awesome tasting events that are really fun! Ive discovered some of my favorites here.

Sue is so caring. She worked with me for a couple of weeks to special order a rose wine for me for bridesmaid proposal boxes. It was not a big sale for her but she treated me no different. Great selection of wines in store too!

Very friendly people and very helpful. They did not have what I needed however they sent up for me to get it at another store not associated with them. I highly recommend these people they are Class Act

Good craft beer selection. I didnt have time to stop at my usual store, this place was close to my destination. I went in expecting the usual craft beer selection that most places carry, but was surprised that there was quite a large selection here. I left quite pleased, because I ended up buying a particular craft beer that is somewhat hard to find in this area. I will definitely come back here and would recommend others to check it out also.

We stop into Cap & Corks pretty frequently. They have a good selection of imported beers that can be difficult to find else where. If you are looking for specialty brews I would highly recommend stopping at this location. Need a suggested beer to try? Try out Leffe Blonde.

Great selection but not overwhelming

I stopped at this store thinking it was more of a convenience store as opposed to a wine shoppe. I was disappointed to see the limited selection of snacks and other items but amazed by their selection of beers and wines. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I will be back yo this location for my next bottle of wine.

Great locally owned beverage shop with fantastic selection of wine and beer ranging from the normal to the elegant.

While they dont have as extensive selection as other places in Lakewood, they have the better quality of breweries and beers. And the people are friendly and helpful.
