They gave me an 11 day estimate but finished in 9. They were careful and cleaned everything up making it look brand new. David was phenomenal with keeping me updated and ensuring my needs were met. I hope i never need to have body work done again but if i do i am bringing my baby back here.
One of the best car repair experiences Ive EVER had to-date. ALL staff polite, courteous, and knowledgeable. Problem; climate control assembly broke on a Mazda3. Mazda dealer repair estimate $3100.00. Lakewood Auto Body estimate $2100.00. The dollar savings is super. But, what clinched the deal for me was the OUTSTANDING level of communication provided by JAKE. ALL my questions answered, information provided that I didnt even know I needed. Communicated by email, and phone. Also, low fluid levels noted, Mazda dealer DIDNT even mention, were taken care of after my consent. Finally, bill came in under estimate.ONLY reason I wrote to-date is because I know Lakewood Auto Body will treat myself and other customers the same on out next visit. JAKE you rocked it.
It was so wonderful to have my car serviced here. I literally dropped my car off on a Monday and it was done Tuesday as promised. My car had a huge dent and broken tail light and it looks brand new after the work done. So pleased with my experience and I will definitely use them again for all of my repair needs.

This place is great!! This is our second time using the shop and this time the repairs were being billed through an auto insurance because of an accident that was not our fault. Lakewood autobody made the entire process easy, like super easy. They went above and beyond with the entire service. Andy even met us at the shop after regular business hours to let us pickup our vehicle and return the rental to accommodate our own personal work hours. The staff and repair work has been top notch both times we have been here. I highly recommend Lakewood autobody.

Great customer service. Warm and friendly staff. Ask for Chrissy! She will work with your schedule for getting your repaired and she is so kind! I have a few complaints but they were quickly resolved by management which truly shows the character of a business. Highly Recommended body shop.

Hit the side of my 2015 jeep cherokee trailhawk and the door had to be replaced. Lakewood Auto Body was one of the recommended auto body shops by Geico and we had an amazing experience! Looks brand new and the paint job is flawless. We were even able to pick it up 2 days earlier than expected and received text message updates on the status. Highly recommended!!! We will be using them for any future auto body needs

I had to take my honda here several times for the few times my car has been in a collision and every time they have gone above and beyond to provide excellent service and care. I would 100% recommend them for anyone who needs body work done.
I would never recommend them or use them again. Terrible customer service! They kept my car for 2 weeks when they said the job would take 3-4 days. Everytime I called for update they said they would call me back and never did. Said my car was being painted several different times and it wasnt. They forgot to order parts that were needed. Originally quoted me approx $1400 and said when they took apart if there was damage they couldnt originally see it would only be about $100 more. When they took apart they said there was damage & my new estimate was over $1400 additional. And they couldnt get my bumper back on so either could pick up as is or let them repair. Well I couldnt drive with no bumper so had no choice but to have them repair it. And the list goes in. I would never recommend them or use them again.

Not worth the trouble.update on my car Lakewood Auto body did my alignment a couple of times they did it wrong they suggested that I buy a new tires and when I took my tires to Firestone Firestone said my tires were just fine Lakewood Auto body is very unreliable and they pick and choose what to replace on your car after an accident and they dont inform the insurance companies about the repairs. coming here to get my car worked on after my accident was probably the worst decision Ive made when having my car worked on I turn my car in in early March and I just got my car back today from the Honda dealership they had to fix a bunch of things that Lakewood Auto body hadnt done right

We were recently rear-ended. Our car was taken to Lakewood Auto Body. They did an excellent job of repairing it, and they did so within a week. Also, they did a good job of keeping us up to date regarding the progress of our vehicles repair. We were very satisfied with the work and with the way that we were treated.
It’s not very often that I’m impressed enough to write a review for a business. Customer service was exceptional, they were very polite and understanding to my situation. My car was finished at the time promised, the paint matched perfectly, and they even washed the outside and vacuumed the interior. They stayed in contact with me through the process and answered all of my questions tactfully. I was very happy with my overall experience considering the circumstance of having a minor incident with my car a few days earlier. My jeep got wrecked and the back end was smashed in. I took it in on a Friday morning, an hour before my appointment and they still helped me immediately. My car was returned exactly a week later and it looked perfect. They had washed and detailed it too. They matched the paint exactly and the parts they replaced were identical. I came in Saturday morning and showed up two hours before they opened and they still had someone there that let me in and get my car back. All in all they were wonderful to deal with. If you are unsure about wether or not they will get it right, dont be.

I will never recommend this business to anyone until they figure out how to treat their customers and run a business.Promised dates of completion will fall through, you will always be pushed to the side if your car isnt as important. I was told there was a whole week my car wasnt even being touched.Took over a month to complete when I was estimated a couple weeks.Again, DO NOT RECOMMEND.
I would have been more satisfied but they lack on very important things when it comes to business. Here is what I think they lack, and hope it gives you an idea if you’re looking around for a body shop on what the general issues are, apart from terrible parking.1. The receptionist- When you walk in you have to go over to the desk, and deal with someone that is not only just not being professional with her atire or attitude, and it gets pretty upsetting when you see someone that is acting like a teenager bored at class, when you’re bringing your transportation in to a place like a body shop. Honestly her attitude is a HUGE issue, because it just made the experience with that old man, owner liar they have, he and that girl need to stop dealing with customers, gross attitude.2. The estimate was fair, and to be fair to them, estimates are just that, because it is true working on cars you never know if you’ll encounter a different issue, or takes longer for them. BUT professional courtesy and basic business skills will tell you to let the customer know that it will be A LOT more to fix it, and should tel you what that amount is.For me here they told me it will be “a little more”, but never a number, so when they gave me my bill, he turns around and says “get that with your credit card”, and I’m looking at him confused. It wasn’t a little more like he claimed it was over $100 more, only because it took them a little bit more time.3. When I brought my complain up, the owner of whoever that old man was rolled his eyes at me, and to me that was very disrespectful, and I was already upset. Especially because when it was time to pay the receptionist full of cookie crumbs on her face just said “we can’t release the car until payment”, like everyone knows that’s a rule. But if you know that’s a rule, expect for customers to be notified on time of it being over half of the original estimate.4. As they let me know of damage I was already aware of, when I went to complain the owner, after rolling his eye, tells me that he will call my insurance for me so they can repair some damage from another bad shop I went to. To me them bringing it up once was enough. I’m not stupid with cars, and I felt like they were trying to sell me, with the give them my email and send me what they did.So just know they are like every other body shop. It will take longer, and it will be more pricy than the original statement.And as soon as that eyeroll came I know to say, just go somewhere else, yes someone with the higher raitings. I took a gamble though.

Why did it take them from insurance approval on Sept 11 to October 15th to do a $4,800 job on a Honda Civic? Absolutely unacceptable! THey knew the owner of car was waiting on the car to start a job in another state. When she picked up the car the fan didnt work, and she had an 8 hour drive ahead of her. Fortunately. It was just a missing fuse that she replaced herself at the end of the trip.

Had car for collision to front of car. About 6000.00 front end damage. Took 30 days to fix. Drove 2 miles after getting it back and service light came on. Said something about timing sensor not working. Claimed not due to accident. Hard to believe since was working before before accident. Was quoted 20 days to fix. Had to call repeatedly last 7 days to be sure it was gonna be ready since insurance for car rental was about to expire. Seemed not to care at all about us. Wont go back ever. Hubcap missing and told it was our problem. It was on before accident!!. Said could not repair/fix sensor problem. We had to go to another auto shop. Geico our insurance told us to use them. Should have known better. Talked to me like i was stupid. I use to be married to mechanics and help them work on cars. Had diagnostic done at oreillys before bringing car back. Told me it was related to not changing oil. We just did that 3 months before accident. Problem was just camshaft timing sensor. Why couldnt they fix it? Uncaring people. M. Spears
BMW X5MI took my X5M for a small damaged in passenger door ! They told me they will replace the door and they did but they replaced the door with a used previously damaged door ! they had to used filler and poorly fix the ( new) door, they Paint it the door it was bad...it look Out of line ! door didnt fit correctly, paint job was low quality had a dent they couldnt fix on the new door ...The interior of my X5M was duty I found a lot withe dust, it was all over the interiorVery disappointing.So I called my insurance to have them inspect my car they are going to take care of that on a different shop

My car got vandalised literally the first week after I bought it--woke up one morning in Renton and the entire bumper had been essentially torn off. Still dont know why. Its the first car Ive ever bought, so I didnt have any experience in the whole process of repairing it. I got a couple quotes and went with this body shop because it was a preferred Geico shop. Lakewood Auto Body was able to help me through the process. They were very thorough and polite, and called me several times to give me updates while my car was in the shop. When I got it back, itd been washed and waxed, and even detailed inside! Very impressed with this place. Theyre very friendly and professional, with good workmanship.
My car has been there over a month got into a minor accident my front bumper and radiator needed to be fixed got quoted one price for repairs. Following week after they recieved check from insurance called and said they noticed sonething else wrong which didnt get seen until they removed bumper cover and etc. how can you quote if thats was still on. Right?. Been told twoce car will be done pn a Wednesday just needs to be painted. Theres no actial time frame of when this is going to be done wouldnt recommend anyone here based off of customer service. Will write another revoew once i inspect the repairs‼️

Poor customer service and poor communication between employees. I had my car fixed there and when I questioned their work I was dismissed with no follow up. I am considering legal action after I speak with my insurance company.
