Clean, not over priced and professional.

Simply Self Storage is a very clean and quiet facility. Its not very busy and it is in a great location. I stored my belongings there for several years and never had a problem with the staff or storing my items securely. There are security cameras near the entrances and double security access doors when accessing the storage area. It is a great place to store your items and not have too many people getting in the way while you move your items.

Weve had our unit for a week now and were still moving this over from another Storage unit that weve been using for a few years. The prices here are better. The place is cleaner and brighter inside and the staff is friendlier. Im so glad were making the move. Jenny made the sign up process quick and painless.Update. We have a temporary need for more storage and getting another unit was quick and easy.

Our Company did work on an overhead exit door that would not open. We got the overhead door operational again. We have contacted them 13 different times to get this past due invoice paid but have not gotten contacted or received payment.We are very disappointed in the way they do business and if I was able to give a negative Star, I would.Very sad...

Set up was quick. They gave a guided tour so you knew where things were such as your unit, the entrances, and carts they have available. The building seems brand new and well maintained.

I was in the middle of the process to move out, but i didnt have any where to put my extra things and furniture to a place that was reasonable pricing for me !!!! Angela, who works at simply storage, highly recommended her storage place without any hesitation and it was a GREAT choice!! Its a nice unit and well big enough for all of my things i needed in there! Angela helped me out from the start with quotes on prices and the sizes of them that i had options for!!! All around- great service ! a great place ! and very nice!!!

Friendly and very kind, Jenny and Angela were very nice to work with, always answered questions quickly, and work with you for your storage needs. The place was always clean and felt very secured. The climate was very well maintained.

Jenny was great with helping me get the right size unit!! Smart set-up!! All units are climate controlled which means inside storage. There’s an enclosed and secure place for you to park your vehicle while you unload and take items on the furnished platform carts to your storage unit. Elevator is large enough for big items AND your helpers! It’s a very clean facility and has very courteous and knowledgeable staff. Prices are good also!! If I need boxes, they have those too!!

We are now moved into our second storage unit at this facility.This is a well maintained facility and the staff are organized and very helpful.This is the best we have found for price and quality.

We needed a place to store our stuff, but I felt uncomfortable using storage units because all I had ever seen were unguarded outdoor garage-type storage units. I didn’t want my stuff to be ruined by the cold or the heat or bugs, or worst, theft.Then we researched Simply Self Storage. I feel totally comfortable using them because their entire facility, all the storage units, are indoors behind passcode protected entryways. So there won’t be random people roaming and looking to break into your unit. Because everything is inside I don’t worry about bugs or temperature damage. The place is well lit and very clean. I also love that the whole place is under security camera at all times! Their storage rates are so affordable for what they offer! We saved money by taking advantage of an online only booking deal. When we got there for our touring appointment, Jenny the manager, was ready for us, was very helpful in explaining everything to us, and we were able to complete the sign up process very quickly. I wouldn’t even bother looking into any other storage company. Simply Self Storage is where you want your stuff. They aren’t expensive and their site is super secure. You’re stuff will be safe.

I hadn’t even crawled out of bed yet to have my morning coffee, when my wife started hounding me about finding something productive to do that day. Well I through out some suggestions but was shut down not realizing she had the day already planned. Her idea of a good time was watching me rent a storage facility come home pack up a 4 bedroom house and haul it out while she and my son supervised. Now this was hardly a fair exchange if you ask me. This is where I met Jenny and her coworker. Both were very friendly and courteous and helpful. If it wasn’t for them I’m sure I was to the point of hiding my spouse near the border of Canada with no gps available. Even then I’m sure she would hint me down and ask me to mow the lawn! Anyways the facility is in excellent condition and Jenny and staff take their jobs seriously and maintain and delivery excellent customer service where lots of places lack the customer experience all together in this coddled society we live in today! Thanks Jenny to you and crew and although we won’t be back to Minnesota we will definitely send ppl your way. 10*****

Staff is helpful, clean building, highly recommend!

Nice facility to keep our belongings safe and sound. Staff answered all of our questions and our transition to different sized unit couldn’t have been easier. Indoor loading area made this the perfect storage option in all kinds on MN weather.

Emma was knowledgeable, friendly, and efficient. The unit we rented had been vacated a day or two before, and even though renters are required to clean up when they end their lease, she was just finishing sweeping it out when we arrived. Because she had sent us the rental agreement for review earlier, we didnt need to scrutinize it when we signed it. Although this was only the second time we have rented a storage facility, there is no mistaking good customer service!It is now 2021, two years later, and we have removed all of our belongings. Every time we were there the place was clean, humidity low, and temperature safe for our things stored there. We had a whole household of stuff in a 10x30 and were quite pleased to find it undamaged in any way after two years. No mold, rodent droppings, cobwebs, etc. I highly recommend this location.

Edit: They fixed the elevator so now I am giving them 5 stars. I ended up switching to a larger storage unit. The gal who helped me with the switch was super nice and helpful and made the process painless.Original Post:Decent price for a small storage unit on second floor but the main elevator has been out of service for at least 6 months. Every time I come to get stuff out of my storage unit, I have to schlep it all the way across the building with my cart to get to the other elevator that is working. Glad I dont have to make a bunch of trips to my car and back every time I am at Lakeville Simply Self Storage. Fix your damn elevator!!!!!

I was very impressed touring this facility in comparison to their competition. Clean, affordable and climate controlled. Both Jenny & Emma were incredibly helpful, professional and made it an easy/streamlined process. I would highly recommend using Simply Storage!

I visited Simply Self Storage in Lakeville today and was helped by Ty. Ty’s customer service was above and beyond. This was my first time ever renting a storage unit and I was not quite sure how the process worked. Ty was very knowledgeable and reassuring. The facility and units were very clean with plenty of security cameras. I would recommend Simply Self Storage to anyone in the area for their self storage needs.

Im a new client but have used a few other storage facilities over the years. The security, cleanliness, and cost at Simply Storage are incomparable. I met with Jenny and received an informative, comprehensive tour. Getting my account setup was easy and quick--just 15 minutes for the tour and for Jenny to enter my information into the system and I was all set to move in!

We needed a storage facility fast I found Simply Self Storage on Google, I called the office and spoke with Jordan and told her what we needed. She was able to accommodate us and within hours we were able to pack up a 1 bedroom apartment and bring it to Simply Self Storage. Jordan showed the different options and availability of lockers and boom we signed the paperwork and moved our things into the new storage unit. We were so impressed with this company that we are going to move some items that we have at another storage company and bring it to Simply Self Storage and rent a larger unit! Storage its a good place to store your bologna inside storage lockers elevators to each floor nice and clean warm in the summer the air conditioner is on climate control the only thing I have a problem with is the people that work there most of them are friendly and its a few that is not so friendly matter fact she acts like she doesnt know what shes doing but I look over her cuz I can clearly see her elevator doesnt go all the way to the top floor if you need a storage place they are the best you can stop looking and just go get it no need to look any further extremely nice place to store your belongings Simply Storage is Simply the Best

Jordan was very helpful! I came there a minute before it closed and she was really willing to wait and help me with everything. Very satisfied with everything. One thing that could be improved is maybe telling us that we need to bring our own locks and keys beforehand so we could prepare it. Other than that, I really liked the services!

Great customer service. When we decided we needed a bigger storage unit, we were able to make the transition easy. This facility is very clean and the temperature is just right. I really liked the drive in garage, where you can unload your belongings in a sheltered area. The online access app was the only thing I had trouble with, never worked. Otherwise I would highly suggest Simply Storage.

This was the cleanest place I have ever seen, and so very helpful. We took a unit on the second floor and the elevator is huge, and there are two of them. Got a great deal on the price, I would highly recommend using this storage facility. Very easy to find just off the freeway.

Impressive storage facility. The manager Kristen Olson was fantastic in helping me solve my storage issues. Used the facility for about a year. Very user friendly and with a covered garage it made it great during Minnesota weather events to go to and from. I highly recommend this facility.

I recently helped move my brothers family and they needed some long term storage while looking for a house. I found this place to be very clean. It was nice to have an enclosed garage for loading/unloading. Bathrooms, elevator and well lit. This is my first experience at an indoor storage facility and has made me consider Simply Self Storage in future needs. If anything, I was surprised at how narrow some of the hallways were, though we had no issues navigating a couch and bed through them.

This place is still fairly new and is always clean and well maintained. It is secure and has a great set up for loading and unloading your items (including a drive-in, enclosed loading/unloading area). They also provide carts to easily get your things to your unit. Highly recommend!

The facility was clean and nice. Great price, competitive for the area. Prior to move in I asked about a lock and was only told I needed to provide my own. It would have been helpful to know the specific lock I needed to purchase upon signing the rental agreement.

Kirsten has been very helpful in arranging our unit and explaining how things work. The storage areas are clean and well-lit, and secure. For the price, this is the best storage area we have found.

Excellent customer service is a norm renting was painless and very quick. Though my storage unit was in the center of the building I had absolutely no problem entering accessing or leaving the facility. The facility was always clean

This place is alright, but make sure to read the fine print before you commit to anything. They will prorate you when you move in but when you move out you are required to pay the month in full even if you only need the space for another 6 days past your monthly contract date. (i.e. I moved from MN in September, my move date was Sept. 7 and they wanted to charge me for the whole month of September even though when I moved in they pro-rated me for two weeks since I moved my stuff in half way through the month).

I have been storing my stuff here for over 7 months now. Never have I had an issue with my unit, or the staff.The conditions of the units Ive rented are superb. I feel my stuff is safe. And i like the fact their elevators are easy to access.I absolutely love being assisted by Jordan. She is the highlight of this site. Shes been able to help me repeatedly while i switched around storage units.One thing Ive always learned is a company isnt half its worth without excellent employees

I would not rent from this facility again. The layout and inside storage is nice BUT after months of repeatedly telling them that my storage locker smelt like something died in it and physically bringing them to storage locker were they didn’t even want to stand in it smelt so bad and not once receiving any type of call back from anyone or the “district manager” who I don’t even know actually exists, unpacking all of my boxes to make sure it wasn’t my bad I finally gave up and then they upped my rent to add insult to injury with no notice.

I needed a affordable storage unit at the last minute and Simply Self Storage came to my rescue. I booked a next day Saturday reservation last minute at 7pm on a Friday night. I received a call Saturday morning from Jordan and she was very professional, kind and friendly. They are running great promotions now!

Cheapest I found on the internet....until I went to look at their units. Their add said nothing about extra fees, ended up being another $20+ on top of their posted price which put them above many others, heated and not. Like the drive in unloading areas and newer building. Super friendly lady working the desk and phone.

I am giving this a one star because the location says it’s open from 9:30 a.m to 6:30 p.m. I was helping my parents out and bringing a load there. There was no one on site. They needed to put the lock that they purchased on and take the storage lock off. We called customer service twice and said we’d get a call back and never did. When they purchased the lock the lady working never suggested for them to go switch it out. We waited over an for someone to show up and no one did and no call back. We definitely understand if someone got sick or if there was an emergency; however there was no note or anything saying that they wouldn’t be open. I do believe they will be finding a different storage unit. Some of you may have had good experiences with them, but we didn’t.
