When my check engine light came on, they fit me in to diagnose it. Explained the problem, which was minor, and did not charge for the service. I appreciated their honesty and prompt attention as an out of state customer.

My experience was horrible I still had the same problem after leaving my car with them twice. And when i picked up my car the second time i had to end up paying 93.00 to tow it home because it would not crank up..Never had a problem with my car cranking. When I called they basi6told me what they did had nothing to do with it cranking yea right...But i know how mechanics treat females you live and learn. Very disappointed

I went in to get a check engine light checked on a 07 Chrysler 300. The mechanic and receptionist at desk are very rude . After they called theirselves doing a diagnostic on my vehicle. They then intended for me to leave the car when I told them my issue prior to coming to their location. They wanted to do an further inspection when I already showed them what the diagnostic was on the vehicle. The mechanic didn’t even give results for the diagnostic he claim that he did and then went on about why you shouldn’t buy a used car and asked if I had a warranty on my vehicle . When my only issue was a simple ignition coil that needed to be changed out but after leaving I figured out my own problem which was the ignition coil and changed it out on my own. I wouldn’t recommend anyone to go to this location for any types of services. This company is out to get money. If I could rate them as a zero I definitely would.

Quick service fair price I recommend the only complaint is that in the lounge room there is not air conditioning

We took our truck in for repairs... Bud is an honest, straight shooter and fair guy. His guys did a great job and there were no Surprises on the bill. In fact, we took our car in for brakes and they did a great job on it too. We needed new brake rotors and we received the same professional and fair priced service on that job as well. After meeting Bud, the owner of Car Tech through a friend whom I had taken to pick up his vehicle, I had a little discussion with him and quickly realized that he has over 30 years of experience as a mechanic. Not to mention hes a very kind and respectable person, as well as the other mechanics working there. A couple weeks later I ran into a complicated problem with my vehicle, one of those where even the best of high tech equipment could not easily detect the error since there was no code. I took my vehicle to Bud to diagnose. At first they tried to fix what might be the most possible cause, it did not work. It was difficult to find the problem. However, Bud insisted that he will not give up. I left the vehicle so they could continue the trouble-shooting process. I was absolutely relieved when they called and said they found the problem and fixed it. I would certainly recommend Car Tech to anyone who needs to have their vehicle repaired. Going forward I would continue use the services of Car Tech, of which I am very pleased.

Nothing they fixed in my car is still fixed. Everything has been blamed on a bad mechanic they fired supposedly. Spent thousands and car is in no better shape that before. Not to mention they didnt bother to tell me that the car wasnt even worth doing all of that work on it until after they already did and charged me of course. I could have just bought a new vehicle from you guys if you wanted make your money. Instead of wasting my money.

Ive dealt with these guys through 3 cars and 10 years. They are excellent mechanics and they always charge a very reasonable price. They are are super honest! I brought in a car that just had a disconnected hose and they only charged me like $10 because it took them like 5 minutes to fix it! They gave me a free oil change as a Christmas gift last year because Im a loyal customer! They replaced an air conditioner coil that took a lot of time to do and in a few days, the part they installed broke. They re-installed another part and charged me nothing for the replacement part and labor because they guaranteed their work. Ive really never had a service shop like this before in my 40 years of car ownership. I cant recommend them enough!

This is a very honest, reasonably-priced auto mechanic. Bud (the owner) is a straight shooter and a man of his word. Weve taken both of our vehicles to CarTech on several different occasions, and even though we recently moved from Lakeland to Sarasota, well continue to bring our cars to Bud and CarTech. If you are looking for an honest, economical option, this is the place for you.
