UPDATE: In response to the reply below. I brought my car in to this dealer on September 17, 2021 and was charged $438 for various routine maintenance, including an oil change. (See invoice below.) One month later I ran out of oil. And for the cherry on top, attached is the email confirmation from their website confirming my appointment on Saturday at 8am. Dear customers: You can see the lengths they will go just to lie and pass blame to the customers in an attempt to avoid admitting mistakes. RUN AWAY!The Service Department supported by the General Manager have no integrity. These are dishonest bullies that treat customers horribly. Service Manager made an offer to test my car at no charge to me for a well-known defect regarding excessive oil burn. Then when I showed up to my appointment, they wanted to charge me over $200. I expressed that I was being taken advantage of and that was not the agreement. The treatment I received from the advisor and the sales manager was appalling. After being berated by the service advisor, the sales manager refused to honor his agreement, lied to cover his mistake and accused me of trying to take advantage of THEM. The general manager expressed that if I had purchased my car from him, he might be willing to help, but since I didnt, he has no obligation to me. Dear customer: You do NOT deserve to be treated this way. Do not stand for this. There are other dealerships within a short drive. Do not give these abusive swindlers your money.

We came in looking a slightly used VW Atlas. Hunter helped us out and was very professional. He is easy to talk to and is a straight shooter. We ended up trading in our car and the Atlas.Overall I could not be more pleased with the experience. The are the first dealership that we have ever dealt with that didnt try to play games and charge us a bunch of extra fees. The price on the car was very reasonable, the gave us exactly what we wanted on our trade in (which was spot on for Kelly Blue Book valuation), and we closed the deal. Straightforward and simple.

This was the best car buying experience weve had to date.. I spoke with Michelle who was our salesperson and advised her which vehicle we were interested in and she walked the vehicle and sent me an updated video/ pictures. I advised that we would be coming from North Florida and would like to have all paperwork completed prior to our arrival. We were literally in and out of the dealership within 30 minutes. First, we worked online via messaging with Sales and Leasing specialist Trey Lawrence Chapman to work out the deal for a new 2021 Tiguan and the trade of our old vehicle. He promised that he would have everything worked out and when we came to the dealership we would be in and out in an hour or less. Well, he came through for us. We met Trey at the dealership and we brought in our trade which they quickly looked at and then we finalized the paperwork with Business and Internet Manager Bradley Frazier. All of this was done in less than an hour and we drove the car home and for a great price on top of everything else. All of the process was no pressure and was the most calming car purchase I made in my 63 years of life. This place is family-owned and operated and they have a great family feel about it. I moved from Arizona and had the toy tire which is a regular and original continental tire that comes with the car. I had the tire because I checked before driving to Florida. The car was always parked in my garage and I never left my car unattended except at this dealership. I only do grocery pickup and I’m present in the car while they load it up. I have another family car a minivan and this VW is rarely used just sitting in my garage. So I know this dealership has my tire. I called the manager and he acted like a child to me and basically hung up on me. Saying he knows his men so well. They either took the tire out and forgot to put it back or they stole it. Being a good manager should pull one from another vehicle and make good or order me one free of charge. Manager refused to own up! I will never be returning to this dealership. My kids found on the floor in my back trunk the lug nut VW cap from the tire so when they took it one of those caps fell off. I just want my tire back! Very poor management when they refuse to own up.

In the past Lakeland Toyota ignored me and it has been on multiple occasions salesmen have ignored me due to me wanting to talk overall numbers rather than monthly payment.I didn’t want to play that game and josh respected that.We didn’t talk for a week or 2 and when he got what I wanted for the price we were looking for he reached out to me. Again without pressuring me.Overall the only complaint I have is with myself. I should have had my numbers in line better. The car dealership was asking a bit more than value for the car. But my wife is happy and I paid virtually nothing for a full warranty.But do your homework and go in there and ask for josh. You won’t regret it.

Let me start by saying WOW! I have been around the block you could say. I am no spring chicken and I have had many experiences in dealerships over my years. None quite like this though. I called Lakeland Volkswagen in regards to a pre owned vehicle. At this time I had been searching for just the right car for some time. I am not local to Lakeland so I thought I would give the a ring to see what info they may be able to provide me on the vehicle. I was able to get a hold of a sales guy ( Trey Chapman). Right off the bat I could tell this guy was not trying to sell me anything and truly just wanted to help provide me information in order for the to make an informed decision. I had many questions in which he was fast to answer with knowledge. He even went to the point as to text me from his person cell with a picture of himself and all his personal contact info. This felt like it was a friend trying to help me at this point. He not only gave me all the info I needed but sent me a video walk around of the vehicle pointing out things along the way. By the time I went to the dealership I felt as if I had already seen the vehicle in person and knew exactly what the price would be. I just needed to drive the car at this point to make sure the vehicle didnt shake or wobble. All was good and I made my purchase (in and out in under two hours might I add). We made a special trip to Lakeland after going to 3 other dealerships...and it was well worth the trip for us. Our salesperson was Trey Chapman and it was the best car purchase experience I have ever had. I recently bought a used vehicle at Lakeland VW and the staff there made the process extremely easy and hassle free. Lawrence had let me test drive the vehicle first and made me feel no pressure in buying the vehicle after I did so which was nice. He was totally transparent in the process from start to finish (he showed me a minor issue with the vehicle -- which he also had fixed before the vehicle was taken home)! When it came time to purchasing the vehicle there were no unexpected hoops to jump through or anything. Thank you again for the 10/10 experience!!

Trey was the salesman who helped me with purchasing my vehicle. I was running behind on my way, so I called to inform him, thinking I would have to reschedule. Trey assured me that it was no problem to come down anyway. So glad I did! Such a personable and down to Earth person. Trey walked me through each step & took as long as I needed. He even let me use his phone because mine had died! He was able to work out my payment where it worked for me. My dream has always been to own a Murano...and with his help, Im now a proud owner of one!! Im very happy he was the salesman I was paired with!

Have been wanting to upgrade my car for a while and have always been a fan of Volkswagen. After moving to Lakeland and now commuting 2+hours a day I decided to I wanted to start looking. Knowing that my current loan was underwater I knew it would be difficult to make it work. HIRAM!!! Was amazing in listening to both what I and my wife were saying and brought us to this beautiful 2020 VW Passat R-Line. I can’t explain how attentive and professional both Hiram and the rest of the Lakeland Volkswagen staff!Thank you guys for everything!!

Couldn’t talk more highly of this dealership! We worked with Trey Chapman who was an excellent salesman. The whole process was easier than we ever imagined. Up front pricing, no pressure. Hands down the best car buying experience we have had yet.

Scheduled an oil change and was out of town so my wife took the vehicle in for service. They turned on lights on the dash that were not on when she gave them the keys, they advised her to have the tires rotated when the rear tires were bald and recently rotated so it would be dangerous to rotate them, didn’t put new oil change sticker on the car, didn’t wash the car, and charged $237 for unnecessary services that I declined over the telephone. They record their phone lines so the rep asked my wife to call me on her cellphone. When I called the dealership two days later when I saw the invoice they accused me of trying to get free service, even after the manager and I caught the tech lying on speaker phone and I had said I want to pay for my oil change and be refunded for the additional services that I had declined. The service manager offered 15% off my next service. I wouldn’t recommend anyone go to this dealership due to their lies and refusal to make the situation right. Now I also have to go to a shop and have the tires rotated again to be safe in the rain.

Terrible inventory, charming associates. Perfect recipe for a blooming business. Brought up an issue with my vehicle, which I have NOT even had for a month, was told to bring it in. Took it in, and service dept took note of issue and brushed it off, stating it was because of the “newness”. Long story short, company told me they don’t recall my visit and I ended up paying a large sum of money in excess to what was for a vehicle bought less than 90 days ago.

I worked with Trey Chapman and it was a pleasure. We had to drive from Jacksonville to purchase the vehicle and he made sure everything was ready to go and everything was as he said it would be. He made us feel very comfortable and helped us any way he could. Great company to do business with.

This place was great. From the time I first expressed interest online for a specific vehicle it was nothing but a great experience. My salesperson Michelle was beyond awesome. From the time she first contacted me, to doing the final paperwork, she was very helpful along the way and one of the nicest people I’ve ever met. Never did i feel pressured throughout my whole car buying process. Michelle made it a seamless experience which I appreciate greatly. Finance was also very quick and stress free.
