Im not very impressed with this coffee shop. I found their drink prices to be too expensive for the little cup I received.Even with a $1 off coupon, it seemed to be a lot, and their pastries seem to be really expensive, vegan or not. No chocolate dessert loaf slice should cost $6 - thats just ridiculous.I do however, like the space theyre in and Im sure they receive A LOT of business since their location is a prime spot, its across the street from a Mega Church.Their space reminds me of a fixed up fire departments garage, the windows could be cool roll doors, if the owners wanted to do more upgrades. But the space its currently in, is pretty large with plenty of seating w & w/o tables. Not sure about outlet availability if someone plans to do computer work. Parking is easy and ample as its in a large shopping center.

Vegan and gluten free pastries, super chill vibes, and all of the staff is really kind and attentive. Vanessa one of the baristas has exceptional customer service skills.

I treated my mom at this coffee shop, and it was amazing! There was a great range of options, and by the time we had worked our way through the sandwiches and scones, we were too full for cake, fortunately, the staff was well prepared for this and happy to provide takeaway boxes! All in all a lovely coffee and definitely somewhere we plan to return. Thank you!

Incredibly fun place! I loved the atmosphere and the friendly sense of community. The coffee was top notch and there was a good selection of food as well. I highly reccomend making a stop here if youre in the Lake Forest area (its even worth a special trip if youre not).

Support independent coffee shops! Every chain coffee place looks the same across the country. Patch is unique. I loved the decor and the attitude and the coffee and locally baked goods were superb.

Always a good place to have coffee. If youre planning to hang out or work, you may need to be a little early as the place gets full as they have free Wi-Fi. Their brews are fresh and ready to get you pumped up. They have professionals and knowledgeable staff who works for them. The outlets for charging laptops are very accessible too. Highly recommended!

Very very good espresso, I am blown away! Gibraltar version of coffee is also very tasty for those who like milk (whole or almond) in their cup. The place looks much better on the inside, although patio is spacious and not too bad looking...currently, regulations make you sit outside only, but once that changes, inside would be my pick. They play music from vinyl records, which is a nice touch :)

I like the options they offered. The barista, gave good information and offered me the coffee that is not in their pour over category. Looking forward to going back again

A cute spot to chill or study. Staff here are incredibly nice and will always remember your order. They offer vegan breakfast options and vegan desserts. The coffee is phenomenal. I love how big they are on community development and support.

1. The environment here is really good, great place to study or talk.2. Latte here is the best Ive ever tried, and Ive tried a lot of places before. There are places latte taste really good as the latte is supposed to taste, but here, it is something you did not expect. The cream on the latte is an amazing mixture of cream and coffee, extremely smooth. There is a deep after taste of their latte. But I only like their original taste latte, not lavender taste.3. Service here is really friendly, they dont disturb you.4. Not a lot of charging pots so charge your laptop/phone before coming here.5. I want to be selfish and not recommend this place so that there are less people. But Im not a selfish person, so come here and enjoy.6. Tea cups are interesting but taste is mediocre, not as good as chinese tea, at least the tea I make~

This is the place to go if youre looking for a coffee shop! The squad is still upbeat and welcoming. The coffee was excellent, and the food was delicious. Its a wonderful deal with a nice atmosphere!

Very friendly and cozy atmosphere. Being a plant lady love the touches of plants around the shop and outside. Adds the coziness in there. Worker was friendly taking my order. I wanted the shala braddah latte that I saw on the website... it was November and she said that was a summer special. Wished website was updated being from Vegas I try to try different coffee in different states. Their chocolate chip vegan muffin was YUMMY. They took about 15 mins to get my 2 lattes made. A person was taking a break while there was a rush. She took about 6 orders than decided to work on a order between taking orders. If the place didnt have such cute and interesting places around I would have been a lot more irritated. Just one size for lattes

Patch has earned my loyalty with their excellent coffee, light fare, welcoming vibe and, most of all, the excellent folks who work there. They make sure I enjoy what I order, say hello when I show up and good-bye when I finally leave. I feel right at home here.

This place is very different and well organized according to other places. The food is amazing, music of your choice. The owner is very sweet... Ever the best café.

This place is very cute. The cream puffs are mediocre, I felt like I had better. I ordered the green tea and earl gray puff to go. Decent size for a decent price. Its not to sweet so just the way I like it, I enjoyed it and will be back when I am around.

Nice interior, free internet, tasty pastries, chatty baristas but most importantly, really good, small batch freshly brewed coffee. Not a big fan of Starbucks so I always enjoy coffee shops like this.

The standard of coffee and sweets, the friendly atmosphere, the service, the price - all are first-rate. This is a nice place to rest and have some time to spend.

A nice place to have coffee and a sandwich. At this coffee shop, you will see a smile on all crew faces. I always coming here to have my coffee and chill out with my friends. Also, I noticed that many people ordered the pavlova cake that looked delicious. I will surely return to this coffee shop and highly recommend it as an official stop on a visit.

4.5 stars. Suuuuuper slow service both times Ive come here, so not a good place to come if youre in a hurry. Buuuut, the americanos and lattes have been wonderful. Perfectly made. And the vibe is nice, inside and out. Lots of seating.

Great Atmosphere, ambience and energy with incredibly down to earth, friendly and professional staff. Eliud Gaxiola is an incredibly talented and well respected Barista who always welcoming but treats each of the patrons as his own. Patchs owner Deb is as attractive and respected as the shop she humbly owns. Pour through any one of the local reviews and you can easily see why the locals love this placr.Check out the artist showcases and talent on open mike nights and of course enjoy the coffee.Exactly what a neighborhood coffee shop should be.That is all for now.

Great energy and atmosphere

With its trendy atmosphere and a bit overpriced coffee, this cafe is a nice treat. They offer house made syrups, light pastries, and ice teas. The flavors are subtle and refreshing as iced coffee, though the pastries with fillings and spreads seem to have too much flavor extract. Especially the almond flavors, sometimes to the point of being perfumy.There are definitely times when the cafe is understaffed and the line gets uncomfortably long (especially while trying to stay socially distanced). Outdoor seating available.

What a cool spot! You gotta check it out if youre in the area... Love the strawberry mocha!!

I really like the atmosphere here. They play really cool music and the baristas are very friendly. I come here on weekends just for some regular black coffee and sit and read my book. Its a comfortable and cozy place to meet and chat with your friends.

Looking for a new coffee place after coming back from europe and suddenly liking coffee... Wanting a non starbucks place. This place had promise but downfalls also. 1 star for good capuccino, most like the ones we found in italy! Good temperature size and flavor. 1 star for good croissants (sage cheese solid) and 1 for cool interior design. Loss of 1 star for unfriendly service and -1 for seemingly incompetent service (got our order wrong despite repeating it twice, 1 breakfast wrap amd 1 breakfast sandwhich.... Thats it) no smile or greeting, very little eye contact. Also their music was horrendous depressing whiney music. Nobody looked happy inside. Shame cause its one of the better cappuccinos we have found!

I love Patch but they’re not taking steps to ensure a safe environment at all. Went in to grab my normal drink and the manager wasn’t wearing a mask while he took my order. The woman making my drink had her mask hanging off her face the whole time. Not to mention the place was pretty full and not a single person was wearing a mask. Definitely won’t be returning until COVID is managed. Super bummed they aren’t taking it seriously.

After spending $56 on 8 coffees including $7 tip, it appears we had miscomunicated our order and were short a small cup. Instead of just correcting the order, still charged my guest another $4 for coffee. This annoyed me as I had picked up the tab for entire group.

Inconsistent in my experience. My lattes/mochas range from really good to would not order again depending on the day.

This is a great find! Cool vibes at this rustic coffee shop with delicious filter coffee and their avocado toast is on point. Free WiFi and relaxed atmosphere is great to get some much needed work done. Outside seating is great to bask in the sunshine. Definitely a place to visit!

The atmosphere of Patch is so comfortable! It was my first time in today and I was recommended a coffee and given a taste of it too :) it was hands down the tastiest coffee Ive ever had... which is probably why Im writing this review :PThe people are also so nice and Im definitely coming back soon!They even have a guitar sitting against a wall... Ill ask to play it next time 😉

Really cool place, with really cool decor and a lot of seating space. They do some local events there as well, which is cool. Their coffee is very good as well. My lady did have a chai latte that was not so good, but they were happy to switch it out for a different drink.

DELICIOUSMade plans to meet a friend this morning at a famous coffee chain located less than a mile from both of our homes. On our way there, she suggested going to a coffee house she likes in Foothill Ranch instead; its called Patch. I had never heard of it but I only suggested the chain because its close & familiar, not because its actually good, so... ok. lets GO!We drove about 20 minutes.Passed several chain locations along the way.((she moved several months ago...she still drives all this way to get her coffee?))After enjoying Patch Coffee for myself, that makes perfect sense.

Great coffee and friendly staff. Can be intimidating since it’s a pretty hipster place. Mostly nooks and comfy chairs to snuggle up in for a coffee and a book but not a lot of tables for computer work unless you’re at the bar.

Friendly staff and some good, unique drinks. I like the quiet, laid back ambiance. The decor has a retro/analog vibe, and theres a shipping container retrofitted to be a semi enclosed lounge space. Ive never had to wait long for drinks and I like how the machines they use to make the drinks arent loud. Overall, a very nice coffee shop to relax at.

This place is awesome. Too bad its so awesome that there isnt anywhere to sit unless you get lucky. The decor is pleasing to the eye, the vibe is cool and there are unique items on the menu. Try and get there when its not peak coffee hours if you want to hang out.

Experience: The baristas were very friendly and willing to answer questions about the drinks without being pretentious. (This is oft a rarity at some of the local coffee shops). Their prices are very reasonable and were a pleasant surprise.Drinks/Food: The Earl Grey Cappuccino was a great choice and I would definitely order it again. Their bacon breakfast wrap was the perfect compliment tot he cappuccino and was bursting with flavor.Atmosphere: Super chill with an eclectic vibe. Seems like a great place, feels almost hipster but also has the quiet coffee shop feel. The Big Ba was good Vietnamese coffee. Overall the place seems like it would be a nice coffee house to hang out at relax. After hitting the Luge in Trebuco Canyon this was my stop after my mountain bike ride.

Cool, hip vibe. Loved the decor. Great mix of wood, metal, bricks and cool light fixtures. Old records, record players, books, succulents. Great place to hang for a while and chill. Coffee was delicious. Rosemary vanilla latte smooth and creamy. Tasty ice cream sandwich. Cookie was semi soft, not hard to bite. Staff was really friendly and helpful. Would definitely go back !

Friendly staff every time I come in. I went in yesterday morning, about 8 am and there was 1 girl working the register AND the coffee machine. It took about 5-10 minutes from the time I ordered to the time i received my coffee. Good thing I wasnt in a rush! She had to produce the previous 2 peoples order, then take a new customer then complete my order. Thats the realty of little shops. I tried a new drink, Lavender vanilla latte. Very nice taste but the $5.75 price, with almond milk, was not nice. I appreciate the light flavor when i order flavored coffee. Unlike Starbucks were all I taste is sugar. I will return to Patch but maybe once a month, due to the price.

This is a lovely quite spacious restaurant. We popped in for a quick coffee and was surprised by the full range of foods on the menu.

Laid back and relaxing atmosphere. Music is jazzy, mellow, and uplifting. A place youll want to return to. I really like the decor.... really great taste and classy!

Today I got one of the worst experience ever

For awhile I thought Starbucks had the best coffee, I thought a Starbucks coffee is what a good coffee tastes like.... I was wrong so wrong. Patch has made me realize something that Starbucks coffee isnt the best it never was. It was a facade to what true coffee tasted like. What good coffee tasted like. The the truth behind to what good coffee is the contents of the coffee. And they had it so I truth this is what a true coffee place looks like.

Great coffees, pastries and ambiance! I stopped in several times and had pour over coffee, spicy mocha, butterscotch latte, lavender latte, 2 kinds of kombucha, Gladiator, cold brew and more. All were wonderfully flavorful and packed a nice caffeine punch - especially the Gladiator! Everyone in the shop is friendly and helpful. This is a great place to sip wonderful beverages and relax or visit with friends!

Glad they opened close to us, always friendly service and definitely much better than Starbucks and other chains. The coffee isnt amazing though, Hidden House was our go-to until they closed last week. Still, better than the alternatives around here!

Love this place! They know coffee. Sometimes their espresso is slightly cooler than usual, so ask for extra hot if that bothers you.

Nice little hipster Cafe. I enjoyed the lavender latte but their menu only consisted of toast. They were out of wraps, in other words they dont really have a kitchen. A bit disappointing since I specifically looked online for a breakfast place and their menu is why I went. I will return for the specialized coffes but I dont know when.

First time here and they were extremely helpful with the menu (I was used to the Starbucks menu), friendly, and efficient. There was barely any wait time but the seating was almost full at the time. Stayed for a while and seating opened up pretty quickly. Awesome staff and awesome music!!!

Best hot chocolate in town! A lot of their stuff is custom made with their own recipes. It’s a rare and welcome vibe in Lake Forest.

This was a lovely little Coffee shop. The make all their syrups in house, serve breakfast and pastries as well as other drinks such as mineral water. I went here on two different occasions and order what I believed were their most unique drinks.Habanero Latte (Hot):This drink was a traditional latte almond milk and their in-house Habanero syrup. The flavors of the coffee and the syrup did not clash at all and left two distinct flavors both complimenting your taste buds. However, I will warn you if you do not enjoy spicy flavors or have a more traditional palette, you will not enjoy this drink at all and may even find it difficult to tolerate.Date Latte (Iced):This drink was more in-line with typical coffee shop drinks. The latte was fairly sweet and tasted more like a vanilla latte with hints of date fruit mixed into itAtmosphere:The coffee shop is a unique modern style office building that does not feel like your in an office building coffee shop. The are plenty of large tables and bar areas for people to sit and talk or do work on. To the side of the shop is a shipping container that has been converted into a lounge area with comfy chairs and loungers in it. In additional, they have Wi-Fi for school and work needs and a printer as well. The back of the shop has a few small merchandise items for sale as well as bathrooms.The staff was very friendly and asked me about my day and have small conversation with me, while taking and making my order as to not put me in a time crunch. When I went there for the second time they had remembered me and asked me how I enjoyed my first drink as well as recommended me other drinks based on my taste.Additional Information:The also served all the traditional coffee drinks as well as a few more less unique syrups for lattes. The accommodate any dietary restrictions and serve every kind of milk alternative for you.
