An amazing cafe with the best smoothiesOrdered their Pipeline Smoothie and French Dip, they where both amazing. The smoothie has such a refreshing taste to it with out it being too sweet, the dip was surprisingly very savory. The customer service here it top notch and get out orders quickly even during busy times, they make everything fresh yet are extremely efficient. A bit on the pricey side for a cafe but will gladly pay their prices to support a local business. Can’t wait to keep coming back

Ive been going to Bagels and Brew here and there since they opened. I always like it, but going there this morning was quite nice, and felt safe. I ordered curbside pickup, and it went great. Good bagels too! I noticed diners eating outside, and they were properly distanced. The woman that brought the bagels to my car was wearing a mask and was very polite.For a COVID-times eatery, Bagels and Brew appears to be one of the good ones, keeping us safe.

I am impressed, Boqueria West 40th St was definitely phenomenal. This is a casual and friendly little place. The menu is really great, a lot of very good choices, I had to go with Tortilla Espanola, and it was incredible. The best part of this spot is the staff. I 100 percent recommend Boqueria West 40th St.

Bagels & Brew is my usual go to spot on a Saturday/Sunday. They usually have a line when I go, but it moves really quickly. You can also place a phone order so your order can be ready when you arrive.I really like the assortment of bagels and cream cheese spreads! They have so many different options and you can buy to-go containers of the cream cheese spreads to take home.Its in a large shopping plaza with a Ralphs, so there is plenty of parking. They have some indoor as well as outdoor seating.They also have the tie dye bagels which look super cute!

Consistently the local hangout that happens to make EXCELLENT food. The service is swift, the environment is pleasant, and the have such an incredible menu for dining in (or outside) and to go. Its always great to support local businesses and it is an excellent perk when their food is consistently great all day long.

I have been going to this location for almost 20 years but after my most recent visit I’m not so sure I’ll be back. The Bagels were fine but the customer service was awful despite being empty. We were even told we were “cutting” in line despite walking in ahead of the lady who was given our spot as “she was in the right line.” Perhaps the small gentleman running the counter should be behind the scenes where his lack of manners, professionalism, and language skills can be hidden. In addition, we have had more mistakes on orders with them in the last 6 months than ever. Perhaps it is time for some customer service training/new management. It is sad to see a small business with a good product fail because of weak staffing..

4 out of the 5 times I’ve come here, I clearly walk in, wait in line, and I’m not acknowledged and I am skipped. It’s frustrating and uncomfortable when someone new is helped before me when I have clearly been waiting. I either have to hold my tongue or speak up. Both are uncomfortable for me.. After the fourth time I would like to complain.

Always a great choice for breakfast and lunch specials. Its your friendly family run cafe with outside dining tables.Good variety of fresh bagels, specialty omelettes, salads and other favorites.Homemade cream cheese spreads are a nice bonus, too. Ive been coming here for years and have never been disappointed.

This place is always hoppin on the weekends, and for good reason. They have a pretty big menu with something sure to satisfy even the pickiest of eaters. The Sliced Nova Scotia salmon bagel is my personal favorite.

It was super crowded and orders took a very long time. It was about half an hour before we got to place the order then about the same for it to be made. This made my son late and we did not get to eat with him. If you are in a hurry, order online or call in your order, otherwise skip this place. It wont help you to complain about it as they are clearly going as fast as they can and they had a full crew. It is just super busy on weekend mornings. All that being said, the people have always been friendly, just speak up when you order as they have a lot of background noise behind them and with masks on you almost have to yell to be heard The food and coffee here is very good. They offer a lot of options and their supreme sandwiches are the best $5 breakfast you can get. A bagel of your choice (I get the Jalapeno Cheddar specialty bagel on the top shelf), toasted, with a little bit of cheddar cheese, cream cheese, sausage or bacon, eggs done your way (I like mine scrambled - less mess), lettuce, tomato and if you ask, they can add onions, lox, jalapenos and anything they serve with it.

Got there at 6am and bought a sandwich and a dozen bagels. Obviously yesterday’s bagels. Very disappointed.

🌈RAINBOW BAGELS🌈 I came to try the rainbow bagels (with funfetti cream cheese) and was pleasantly surprised to find out that not only the rainbow bagels were fun and delicious, but the other variety of artisan bagels were tasty and full of flavor.

Great service and good food at good price. They can customized your food in your way, their website needs to be upgraded though.

My favorite breakfast place in Lake Forest! Never had something I didnt like.

Ive been going to the one in Mission Viejo for years, but made the mistake of trying the Lake Forest location for the first time today. Both my and my girlfriends food was served lukewarm at best, and my Bacon, Avocado, Tomato Omelette tasted like nothing. My sourdough bagel was literally drenched and dripping with butter, which completely masked the flavor I got it for, and I honestly couldnt even finish the rest of my food.I came here starving, and, after 15mins of waiting for my food and disappointment, I left hungry.

LA County just mandated wearing masks indoor ... none of the people preparing food in this place are wearing a mask (sneezing, couching, ...)!Yikes!!!

The spinach bagel Turkey sandwich was very flavorful but I was disappointed since I didnt get to try the unicorn bagel today and was told they only have them from Thursday to Sunday.

Good variety of food. Accommodates allergen requests. Can be really busy during breakfast hours so a bit slow which is why I rank a 4 instead of 5. Good spot for a leisurely breakfast on the patio with your puppy.

Great bagel shop. Only down side to this great place is if you order something other than bagels the cook time takes a while. Food is great and the coffees pretty good as well. I recommend the sunrise supreme easy cream cheese on a fresh bagel with egg over easy. Its messy but really good!

I got the Saddleback Scramble with the Cheese Jalapeno Bagel. The food was served hot and fresh but the service was average at best. The cashier had an attitude with elderly customers

What an excellent local gem. This place has thankful been around for decades and I hope it will stay around for decades more. Their bagels are freshly made and are delicious with cream cheese or as a breakfast sandwich. But they have MUCH more than just bagels on the menu. If you are anywhere nearby and are looking for a good breakfast or are looking for a place to relax & catch up with friends & family, this is a popular spot!

Weve been going since almost the first day this place opened. So popular that they had to expand a few years ago. And its popular because everything is just right: the breakfasts, the lunches, the drinks, the atmosphere, the tables inside and outside. You feel very much like your are part of the community. Always nice people working here. Bring your family, your Sunday newspaper, your dogs and stay awhile.

This is one of my weekly spots. Really solid menu. Compared to other bagel places they do cook their egg stove top (vs microwave). Their bagels have the right texture: crusty outside and slightly chewy with a soft interior.They also have a good selection of sandwiches and lets not forgot an online ordering system to skip the line.Also they have a really stellar staff

Hands down the best breakfast/lunch cafe around. Great place to chill with coffee and catch up with friends, plus its right next to Heritage Hill park. Try their specialty schmears on your bagel- theyre all good.

My first meal in the Orange County area. Loved the bagels and the coffee, service was impeccable, place was neat. It’s w great place to come have a quick breakfast with a friend. Would definitely recommend.

The pizza bagel is great, the bagels themselves are alright, but not nearly as good as Einstein Bagels. The Angus burger is excellent, the veggie burger is alright. The worst thing is the waiting line, and you can pretty much expect that you will spend your lunch hour waiting for your food, and at around an hour and ten minutes they will bring it out. Everyone is polite and the customer service is good. I recommend ordering the food before you get here if you plan on relaxing during lunch and enjoying your meal.

You would think with the money this place makes they could put in another phone where the customer doesn’t have to scream an order over the phone because of all the noise.

I love this place for breakfast. I normally order the Sunrise Ole on onion bagel and of course coffee, but I also may get an omelet or Bagels lox and cream cheese. I think the prices are pretty reasonable. Sometimes it can get very busy on the weekends, and you may not be able to find an open table for a little while, so plan accordingly.

Love the Bagels and sandwiches at this place. While theyve improved on their customer service and making sure tables are clean for customer use, the last time I was there I was disgusted to see an employee us the broom that she had just cleaned underneath each bagel bin on the floor as well. Thats so unsanitary. This place needs some training on cleanliness. Other than that, one of my favorite bagel places.

Great place, just be wary of how crowded it is on weekend mornings. Staff may or may not be able to keep orders straight during that rush-time, leaving a 30% chance your order will get lost among the giant orders placed by church groups and soccer teams. You may even wait 40 minutes in the chaos with your dog tied up outside (‘cuz it’s a quick order), and when able to fight your way back to the counter, find the harried staff have no record of your order and are unable find a moment to look at the receipt you hand them; until you finally give up as the rain starts up and you need to grab your dog and go to Starbucks instead. Would love that $8.50 back someday.

Honestly, one of the best BLTs I have ever had comes from this place. The amount of bacon is divine, the ratio of bacon to lettuce is perfect, and they toast their bread just the right amount to where you dont cut the roof of your mouth when you bite into it. Ive also had their bagels, and they are amazing, not stale and still fluffy, just what a bagel should be!

I love this place! Their menu is terrific not to mention the bagels. I took off a star for this visit because the waiit time was ridiculous. I was eating in and it took almost 25 min to get my meal. I ordered a bagelwich which is my go to food here. I had it on a honey wheat/oat bagel, scrambled egg and bacon. This is a ton of food and always tastes fresh. I love their bacon as long as its cooked well done. They have a tendency to not cook it enough so ask for it crispy. This location is small and can get absolutely crushed with people so call ahead if you can.

I would give them 5 stars but they have issues with toasting their bagels. We have figured out that it goes like this:Single toast is luke warmDouble toast is warm but still softTriple toast is just this side of burnt.So 2.5 toasts would be just right but there is no way to do this.

I do enjoy a bagel in the morning! They have a great variety of breakfast choices outside of just the bagel. And they have turkey sausage which makes them my favorite stop in the AM. Their coffee is excellent and I have never had to wait for it, which I appreciate... since I am always in a rush. The only change I would make is how the customers line up and where to wait for your togo order, oh and one register hidden to take phone orders... other than that It is an excellent place to grab some grub!

Ive been here a few times and each time the food is awesome! They have a great selection of bagels and cream cheeses, but thats not all. They have a huge menu for breakfast and lunch items including burgers, sandwiches​and salads. The only bad thing I can say is that their coffee is a little on the strong side, but if you like strong coffee like my mom then its a plus!

Friendly, quick service, great servers AND the food is always fresh and very good. This is our go to place after church and many friends go there as well. Favorites for me are the Mission Viejo, love their specials, and their lunch sandwiches and salad are excellent. You just have to try it....youll be hooked! Nice place for the whole family too!

Great food but service is sorely lacking. I went in for just a bagel and cream cheese on my third attempt this week to get in and out quickly, but this simple order still took 15 minutes to get completed. They prioritize their orders by first in, first out, which means longer orders that are before your simple order get worked meaning a person on a timetable that is in a rush are going to be late.

I ordered a chocolate chip bagel with cream cheese, lightly toasted.. Waited over 10 minutes for 1 bagel. When I received the bagel it was cold. Not happy.

This location is my favorite! I always get the same thing and eat outside. In the summer you can smell the horses in the park next door, but luckily the nose is the most forgiving. The food is consistently yummy, and reliably fast to get to the table. There are lots of coffees to choose from and delicious tropical tea. The pastries go quickly.

This neighborhood-style restaurant is a friendly local eatery you dont want to miss. Best known for breakfast and coffee, their bagel sandwiches and entrees are DELICIOUS and served in no time. While staff are busy running around, they are still well kept. YUM.

I think the Lake Forest location of Begals and Brew is the best spot of the 3 locations they have. The staff here is more attentive at Lake Forest. They serve good quality food, great Begal sandwiches. I really like this place, only complaint I have that its not across the street from where I live because Id probably be here every morning for breakfast. Now that Im back home in NYC I miss this place everyday.

Bagels and Brew was suggested to us by my brother in law and his girlfriend. In fact she was very excited when she found out we live within walking distance! I will say I wasnt disappointed. The prices are good and the bagels are delicious! They have a good variety including some flavors ive never seen before like French Toast. It was too rainy when we were there, but they do have a nice outdoor seating area for nicer days. It also looked like they had bagel sandwiches etc. Ill definitely be back to try more things!

This is a great place to get breakfast bagels and burgers as well. Their service is fast and friendly and the food is always hot. My favorite breakfast bagel is their sun-dried tomato and basil sunrise. Its a perfect bagel for those lazy mornings. Dont try to eat this on the go because it can be a bit messy. Their Tillamook Angus burger is my favorite. They really know how to make a juicy and delicious burger.

I was visiting from Lake Havasu City, AZ. Had breakfast here and it was absolutely delicious! I will definitely be returning to eat here again next time we are here.

Have loved them from when they first opened over 20 years ago! Tbey offer Keen coffee, the best bagels, amazing sandwiches, etc. Very family oriented. The staff is super friendly and make you feel at home. Come by and enjoy!

Menu is great, food is good, customer service is horrible. Been there a few times now and I enjoy the variety of their menu but every time I go, the employees seem to be really rude. While I wait for my food, I watch their interactions with other customers and most of the workers just have a rude disposition towards everyone. I understand they are busy most of the time but if 90% of their staff was as nice as the other 10%, I would come back much more often because we do enjoy their food.

Drink orders make sure you get your before someone takes off with it. Definitely worth the drive to.
