Gary was great!! Able to squeeze me in for what I thought was a problem with my brakes but found out nothing was wrong. Gary didn’t charge me even checked my tires and went above and beyond. So happy with the service and I will definitely be coming back next time. Thanks so much for the help!

I’m really disappointed to share this but I can’t in good conscience recommend this business to anyone anymore. And I have brought them several clients over the years.The owner and head mechanic Gary does great work on cars and has taken care of my cars for literally 10 years now. My family and I have spent in the tens of thousands on the maintenance of all our our vehicles with them.Anyway I just called to schedule some work after about a year of not having any service done. Randy, answers the phone(around noon) and says he’ll call me right back after lunch with a quote. He doesn’t call me back until I leave a voicemail again around 5pm. He quotes me a price that is 20% higher than they used to charge me and it’s also $100 more than American Tire Depots quote for the exact same work. I ask if they will match ATD’s price and Randy says he’ll call me back in 15min with an answer. I finally received a call back 14 hours later telling me that prices have gone up in Orange County. I’m sorry but your cost of operation didn’t rise 20% this year.Don’t do business here, Randy will boldly lie to you and waste your time. When Gary’s wife used to handle administration this was a much more honest business.

The owner, Gary, is extremely meticulous, knowledgeable and ethical. Our cars are always repaired or maintained in a timely manner. I had just broken down on the freeway and this is where AAA brought my car. They told me they didnt work on my type of car(99 grand prix gtp). He did, however, let me keep my car there til I found out what I was going to do with it. 3 days. He really didnt have to!!!!! I say kudos to Cabot auto!
