Similar stories - desperate for me to pay before receiving the finished product. Waited almost a year for delivery on horrible craftsmanship where edges don’t line up on custom bumper and body. Enjoy the pictures of this embarrassment I am stuck with.

AOE did a good job on my front and rear bumper for the 80 series I had them put a triple receiver in the rear bumper for my motorcycle rack and they custom modified the Jerry can holder to work with my older gas cans I’m happy how it came out but the rear bumper did take a long time to finish.

This is a top of the line business. They care about the customer and do whatever it is they need to do to make you happy and keep promises they made. After being quoted extremely high at REBEL, I looked for another local shop and found American Overland Expeditions . I walked in and met Alex and his team they found me exactly what I wanted and gave me a reasonable quote which was substantially less than RebelI scheduled an appointment for the following week and in 7 days later my JLU was set up.My truck looks awesome and I couldnt be any more pleased with it.Great shop. Alex was incredible to work with. We have a Lexus GX 470 that we Wanted to add suspension for our off-road adventures and hunting trips. We started working with a different business originally but after poor communication and less than ideal customer service we started looking for a new shop to work with. That is when we found Alex and AOE! We highly recommend them and will be back for more custom work on the vehicle! We have already taken it out for some test runs and off-road excursions with great results!

These guys are just amazing. I was referred to these guys by a friend who has been going to them for years. After the Jeep dealers could not figure out what was going wrong with my 2017 JKU 7and had charged me a fortune in fixing things that did not needed fixing, I went to these guys.These guys not only found the issue and fixed it and the cost was very reasonable compared to the dealers.I have been going to them since then and they know exactly what needs to be done to keep my Overland JKU running smooth and talk me out of things that I would ask them to put in the car based on Forums recommendations.Keep it up guys.

This place works on off-road vehicles, and more particularly Toyota Land Cruisers and Jeeps. They are a good resource for over landing service and parts. I had been looking for some time for a reasonable mechanic shop to work on my 80 series. I like my normal mechanic, but he just didnt know the ins and outs of my vehicle well enough to troubleshoot an engine code properly even with his higher tech equipment. I found this place by chance and gave them a call. Chris is the owner and he knew my problem just talking to him in the phone. I took it there and did everything my vehicle needed. They dont to quick one day service tyoe work, more restoration and expedition customization. My vehicle was there for two or three weeks. Thats the downside. They dont have high tech equipment, just seat of the pants experience and knowledge. Also dont expect a detailed invoice. Ill go back to my regular mechanic for the basics, but over to Chris for the major improvements and service. He was fair with his pricing.

I am not a big reviewer but these guys are just that good. I highly recommend them not only for any maintenance stuff but if your looking to do any kind of custom build, large or small, this is the only place I trust.

I left my car there for 7 weeks and nothing happened, supposably the parts are being made, Ive been waiting since 07/19. Forget about being updated on the progress, if you dont call youll never know, and theres always an excuse.

Do not trust this place. The owner Alex has a reputation for ripping people off. I don’t know how this place is still in business.

My continued experience with Alex and his staff is more like bringing in my dog for care. They treat my Jeep like it was one of their own, and Im always comfortable in their shop, learning and exploring what is the latest in technology.They are proven offroad enthusiasts and overlander experts that handle the latest bolt-ons, but also capable at engine swaps, supercharger installs and custom fab work.If youre SICK of the big-budget shops that start you at $50K and push only their sponsored vendors, then youll want to visit AOE4x4 -- they treat you like family and youll have trusted advisors and friends for life.
