Well I didnt make a purchase today. The sales couldnt tell much about the shoes I was looking. She even tried to tell me waterproof meant slip resistant. She brought out about eight pair of shoes and only one was slip resistant like I went in seeking. She kept disappearing and seemed very overwhelmed.

I went to return a pair of shoes that cost about $50 with tax for a friends birthday, and they said that the card part was not working so they had to mail me a check. It has been almost 2 weeks and I have not received any information or check from them. I am very disappointed because that is a fairly large amount of money that I have been looking forward to getting back to my account. I feel like I was scammed and at this point I just want my money back.

I stopped by Englin’s to see if they had any Birkenstock sandals, and I was pleasantly surprised at their selection. Not just for sandals, but for nice shoes of a variety of types, this store seemed to have a great selection even though it was a smaller footprint.The salesman who helped me out was fantastic. Professional, courteous, attentive, and juggling a few different customers at the same time. He made sure to enter my phone number as well in case I needed to exchange my sandals and didn’t have the receipt.I’ll definitely stop by here again if I have need for nicer shoes!

My wife bought a pair of Florsheim Comfort Fits as a present to me. I forgot how good Florsheim shoes are. Were taking the drive out to Mossers to get the whole family saddled up with Florsheims tomorrow. Dont cheat your feet. Buy Florsheims.

I am a very regular customer! Love the customer service.....with being a preferred customer I get a phone call if there is an Ugg trunk show or a sale on Birkenstocks....its so cool for the employees to remember my name and shoe size!! The manager is the best...he goes above and beyond at times they may not have a certain style in my size...he checks online to see if they have them at another store and they ship them to my house! Love this place!

We were greeted at the entrance by a salesperson in a mask. She asked what we were looking for. After measuring my husbands foot she brought back 3 pairs that fit his description. We selected the pair he wanted. She said they were on sale. We purchased the shoes and were given a pair of wild socks. Service was great. In and out in 15 minutes. Would definitely recommend.

Disappointed with my recent trip. About a month ago (2/1/18), I went in to find some supportive, black, wide fit shoes for work. I was in intense pain because my current work shoes were too narrow. The salesperson had me sit down while he was gathered some options for me, which I appreciated at the time. My foot wouldnt fit past my toes in three pairs he brought me. So obviously, I have wide feet. Only one pair fit, but I told him they still felt too tight. He then assured me once I wear in the leather, they will fit perfectly around my foot. He even went into the back to stretch the leather. He told me I could wear them to work a couple times and return them if they werent comfortable and didnt have any visible damage. I trusted the guys recommendation, and I bought the $135 shoes.After wearing them one time, the shoes were completely scuffed around the toe. I work in a dress shop, and the floor is dusted with glitter and we all know glitter never goes away. So after that first day I figured I probably couldnt return them but was still hopeful that they would stretch out. Four weeks later, they are still too tight. I took out the box and noticed that shoes are size 38R. Typically wide shoes are labeled with a W, so I decided to look them up online. The shoes are NOT wide. None of the shoes he showed me that day were wide. I am super confused as to why he sold me these shoes? I feel like I emphasized how wide my feet are several times. I think he could tell I was in pain and took advantage of it.I gave them 2 stars because they did have a killer sale on Uggs. I may shop there in the future because of that reason, but I do not trust the sales people. I guess Ill go back to ordering wide shoes online.

Not a fan of paying over half of the purchase price of the shoes with cash only to return them and they didn’t have cash to give me back. They offered a check sent from home office or put it all back on credit card. Very poor customer service. Besides that if I want to return a pair of shoes I don’t want to be grilled why I don’t want them and feel like I’m forced to keep them. They were not worn so a refund without a hassle would have been nice. They are like used car salesmen of the shoe world. No thanks

My wife and I have bought several pairs of shoes from Englins over the last few years. They have the most helpful staff and are always very patient with our crazy children. On the rare occasion that we have ever had an issue with any of our shoes, they have always resolved the problem for us. I will say there prices are higher than shopping online or at a discount store, but totally worth the few bucks extra. I have never had the type of customer service they provide from an online company or a big box retail store.

I buy shoes here every year or two and have been happy with their shoes and service. 6 months ago I bought a pair of Birkenstock sandals. The heels have worn to the cork and the cork is cracked at the front. I had to wait 45 minutes to be told that they could do nothing for me. I have been treated better by Elgin’s in the past.

Had an unfortunate experience with a manufacturer and Tom Moss took the time to hear me and make things right. I wasnt looking for anything I didnt deserve however thats how Tom felt necessary to handle the situation. I was given a more suitable to my needs product at no cost to myself whatsoever. Not only did he make it right with the shoes he also took the time to invest in our relationship by educating me. Shame on me for being an uneducated consumer. You have no idea what you dont know about shoes unless you know. Although I feel this relationship got off to a rough start I am confident I have found someone to take care of me and look out for my feet moving forward. I wont shop anywhere else. Tom personally has earned my business for life.

Went in recently for a more comfortable and longer last shoe. The had a trunk sale going on for Merrell shoes so figured it was a good time . I cant remember his name but it was the manager I was working with. I wanted to say he was very helpful and took the time to help me find a shoe that was right for me.Unfortunately even with their trunk sale their price was $50 higher than what I found at backcountry online so I had to buy elsewhere.But I would go again if the price is alittle more competitive next time.

Had a small issue with my Merrells. Took them in and the guys there fixed me right up. The salesmen who sold them to me six months ago even remembered me and asked how my New Balance was working for me. Great customer service.

I have shopped at Englins for the past few years. I have plantar fasciitis and it turns out that as long as I wear Birkenstocks hard sole sandals and shoes, my feet are happy and dont hurt. The salesmen at Englins have been very helpful bringing me many pairs, styles, and sizes to try on and have even ordered pairs that werent in stock and had them shipped to my house at no extra charge. Once they knew I loved Birkenstocks they send me postcards telling me when their Birkenstock truck shows are and even call a few days in advance and leave me a message on the special 20% off show days. Ive gone in the night before the show and bought shoes before and they gave me the discount. I just called in now and ordered a new pair because todays a Birkenstock sale and Im home sick. They have my records that say what size and style I bought before so he knew exactly what to order me. He did it all by phone and gave me todays sale price. Im a happy girl and was a bit sad to see their Google star rating was low. Because, as is typical, people only leave reviews when they want to complain. So Im here to boost their rating and tell you, go show with Englins if you want supportive, cool shoes that last a long time.
