If you insist on doing business with Prodigy, avoid giving them any money upfront, and refuse to give them any until you see progress. Gave a required deposit for some rust repair and a repaint, and was given a pretty firm timeline with the job scheduled 1.5 months in advance. Dropped the car off as scheduled with a planned one-month turnaround, and it sat outside untouched for almost two months, except for occasionally being moved, Id use a spare key to get in and reset the tripometer, and I suspect (but cant fully prove) that they were taking it for joyrides or errands occasionally. When I suggested refunding my deposit so I could go elsewhere, it was brought inside and disassembled just enough to keep me from taking it, and then continued to sit. Endless excuses, requests for more cash, outright lies about any actual progress. Ended up with my car back four months later with loose bolts everywhere, orange-peel and thin paint coverage that chipped if you even looked at it wrong. Overspray all over the inside of the windows and interior trim. Brought it back to them (stupidly) for a suggested final buff a couple weeks later which scratched the hell out of the paint, and finished off by slamming the hood on the prop-rod, bending it and screwing up the hoods alignment. Took something I was very excited about (and spent a ton of money on), and made it as difficult and frustrating as possible.
Only place Ill go top get my car checked. the prices are fair and the work is always well done. staff is great too
They are the best
Very nice people
Leon never called me back like I was told he would by the receptionist.
They got my car back up and running and we reasonably price. They answered any questions that I had and let me have my car towed to them early with no storage fee. My new mechanic I think yes
Very fair pricing and quality work. And the business is in good standing with the Secretary of State. Will definitely go again and recommend.
They worked on my boyfriends truck, it was there for 3 weeks for new headers, the excuses started rolling in tht they didnt have enough staff and when the truck finally went into the garage, the work they did do wasnt done properly, the headers leaked and the roll pan was on to high so the tailgate was rubbing and would unlatch when it was opened. The exhaust was not welded properly, there was 4 exhaust leaks. (where the headers and pipes connected) and throughout the exhaust. The overall quality of work was poor and they called for more money before the job was even completed. If you guys were unsure of how to do the work its woulda been better to say that, then pretend the truck was all set and good to go. Its sitting in another shop to fix the work that was done poorly. So paying for the same job to be done again and right this time.
Great people to deal with... awsum work at great prices they go the extra mile for the customer
