Today I went into pep boys because I got a flat tire out of no where! Ezequiel helped me out right away! His customer service was AMAZING! I totally trusted him, even called my dad and he talked to him and my dad approved the new tire and price! It was so easy and he got me outta there quick! Absolutely recommend this store because of Ezequiel’s customer service!! YAS to this pep boys location!!

Tried servicing my car for coolant flush and fuel system service and has the worst experience ever. Made an appointment online and also called to confirm Tuesday 3/6 the services I wanted were available. Next day show up to my appointment 3/07 and the person who does the services I had an appointment for was off that day so then I had to come in again the next day. Manager told me it was okay to drop off my car at 4:30PM and they would be able to complete the service before they closed. Third day I show up to my appointment 4/08 at 4:30 to be told that the person who’s there working wouldn’t be able to complete the service before they closed I would have to come back again..... What great service! After I’m getting upset of wasting my time there I’m told to take the car to back to be looked at all to basically be told that they don’t have the correct system to complete the services that I needed. They told me to call a different location and see if they would be able to. Thanks Pep Boys never again.

Associate by the name of Moses was in the middle of helping me get pricing for some parts I wanted to purchase, instead gets on his phone (apparently something more important), mind you i was waiting for about 10 mins in line. So i walked away realizing the customer wasnt as important as trying to help a young lady install her windshield wipers. LOL. What a gentleman nonetheless.

Lazy workers. Tried setting up oil change appointment and the employee who answered put me on hold. No problem but after 5 minutes he hung up the phone and when i called back was placed immediately back on hold after being transferred to the maintenance and repair

Took my car in for an alignment (have a lifetime alignment) and tire rotation. The Pep Boys in La Habra refused to do either one! Wanted to charge me $5000+ in repairs. Initially told me needed to replace two control arms, later they told me I only needed the bushings (?!), was charging me hundreds per side in labor for a 4x4 though my car is 2x4. Said oh came up as 4x4 from the VIN, told him again its a 2x4, oh it came from the license plate (?what? that was their second answer). Wanted to replace all four brakes and rotors, and four other parts on all four wheels. My car drives fine, no issues just wanted an alignment and a tire rotation as stated.So my lifetime alignment is of no use unless I paid $5k+ in inflated and rather bogus (in mind) repairs. Why does the word extortion pop in my head? Tried several times to get a hold of a manager J. Lopez, completely ignored my 3-4 voice messages. Maybe I need to contact Pep Boys main office or headquarters.

I have to say this Pep Boys in La Habra has been servicing my car for 13 years and the reason for this is they are the best!! The store is clean and well supplied. The employees are friendly, courteous, and knowledgeable. I know my car and know what it needs, so when I tell them I need everything checked. They let me know whats needed to be done and they arer always right on the money. I feel safe and secure when they are done servicing my Subaru Impreza.

Pep boys is pretty good. They try to be honest and inform you of what is going on with your vehicle. They may not always be the best price but they are a one stop shop for a lot of services. I suggest being a pep boys member which is free, you tend to get some kind of discount just by being a member. I have not had a bad experience at this pep boys.

Went to Pep Boys on a warranty issue for my automotive battery it had been almost three years and the battery I purchased had a free replacement my needs were tended to by their employee Jose his customer service was stellar when I let him know my battery was still under warranty he replaced it quickly and with great courtesy I can recommend Pep Boys as standing behind their warranties

One of the mechanics did a free diagnostic of my car, because my check engine light went on, and thankfully found out it was only because the gas cap was loose; messing with the emission readings of my vehicle. Class act all the way!!!

Not so sure about this place. My husband bought a special deal for tires on Cyber Monday and when he showed it to the guy behind the counter he said they wouldnt honor it. My husband ended up calling corporate and they said it is a legitimate purchase and its a store issue. Corporate called the manager and worked it out. Seems the management has changed so that could be a reason they seemed to be trying to pull something shady on us. The other times we took our cars in to be serviced here were good experiences but it was a different manager at that time. Well give them another chance but well be more cautious. Anyone else had this type of experience?

I contacted a location closer to me and they were rude and didnt know pricing. Then I called La Habra all I have to say completely different treatment. Polite, courteous and Anthony was superb. Great customer service! How about that he even knew the pricing! All I needed was an inspection report. I would recommend this location to anyone.

I found them to be helpful and friendly. A red indicator light on my cars dash was indicating Brake Lamp. I happened to catch an employee in the parking lot and asked if he could verify which light was out when I pressed my brake. He happily complied verifying it was only one on the left side. I could then go in and confidently buy the replacement lamp.

I had a battery issue on my last visit, I didn’t even reach the service desk when I was greeted by Ralph. My issue was promptly taken care of, I was sent on my way, no up selling, no hassles.With good customer service slowly being a thing of the past, the staff at this store puts other stores to shame.The stuff at this store are always friendly and there’s always someone to offer their assistance. Most importantly, the staff here are very knowledgeable with their products, I usually leave this store with exactly what I needed and happy that I stopped in.Thank you

Worst front desk auto service for Uber drivers. They will have you wait long hours to later inform you that the vehicle will need additional service. Avoid doing business with them, you will save a lot of time which means more rides and money.

Compared to three other locations I been to, this is the best Pep Boys I’ve been to over the course of 3 years. With or without Hertz inside the wait times are not that horrendous as others. The customer service was chill, not ecstatic or miserable, just chill.

Brakes; Took my Blazer in to have them check my brakes. My Brake Pedal would go all the way to the floor sometimes,nothing. Told them what was happening and Suggested, Never Suggest Anything, but I suggested maybe my power brake booster/master cylinder might be going out. They checked it out, said I needed a new Master cylinder, flush the system out, new rotors, and new pads all around. About 1,200.00 worth. Now, I usually do my own breaks, have all my life, but since the pedal was loosing All function sometimes I thought I would get their opinion since they would check it for free. Well, I said I would think about it, went home and bought 35.00 break pads for the front, put them on, and the loosing the Pedal problem was Solved, never happened again. My break pads in the Front just got so low that I would actually loose the pedal completely sometimes. Never had that happen before. So, they tried to sell me on the other 1000,00 worth of work I Didnt need!! Dont trust them.

Went in for a battery this morning. I drove up to the service bay to ask where they wanted me to park since battery would die after I shut off the engine. The service manager and three of his guys were eating their breakfast burritos and totally ignored me. I raised my voice to a yell asking for help and they just keep their backs to me and ate their breakfast. Finally Robert from the end bay who was working come over was very helpful. I saw the manager inside and advise him of my displeasure. He simple said that he did not hear me. I think its time for a new service manager.

This place in SERVICE DEPARTMENT IS DETERRIORATING after they put 3 kids in the service department who have no clue of automobile and all 3 guys were jumping on me to sell a car battery and didnt have anything else better to do as the whole service station was empty without any cars to repair. I used to go there before and they had professions who knew what they were doing and experienced. NOT ITS GONE TO THE DOGS.

Purchased 4 new tires less than a year and 11,500 mi on them had to replace 2 of them... they would give me no credit or discount to help, even when their technician said they have had this issue on these tires (Starfire) I will let everyone know who asks not to trust Pepboys. Previously I have had a positive experience but will no longer use them for any future service. Pepboys has lost my business and anyone else that I can warn

I always have good experiences here work is done fast prices are comparable and they back their work. Dont go to California Auto Center off Lambert, got my radiator replaced there I paid for a new radiator they gave a refurbished one and 3 months later it blew I thought it was weird since it had just been replaced so I brought it to pepboys and they had to replace it again. I told them what had happened and when they pulled the radiator they told me it was not new, so then what did California Auto Center off Lamber Rd. Charge me for? Love pepboys very honest I blew my transmission and they referred me to a transmission shop in La Habra that took care of me, great customer service and knowledge.

I took my car for alternator replacement May 21 2019 to your La Habra shop 125  W Imperial Hwy. That was after family mechanic friend did the same job prior to taking it to pepboy shop everything work including AC problem was faulty alternator . I ended up with a faulty alternator the service manager was going to give me discount on repair being I got faulty alternator and already paid once for same job. After picking up car I noticed first that my engine cover is missing, and after driving back from work is when I noticed my AC not working. I went back to La Habra shop to complain was told service manager not there anymore and that they will take my info n he will reach out to me. Up on till now have not heard from them. Now I took my car June 12 2019 to other pep boy shop 14207 rosecrans La Mirada they are informing me that my AC is not working because of the job they did at La Habra Shop and I have to pay for the diagnostic. I’m really upset/mad hoping I can get concrete/solid help

The Uber office in this place is a F—! Joke, they lie about availability. They lied saying they have a car ready but when you get here you might have to wait an hour plus for them to prepare a ready car. Just be prepared to camp out here waiting for a car.

Horrible service. 2.5 hours for an oil change. Mechanics standing around smoking cigarettes. Then they parkef my car as far away from the buolding ad possible. They changed the date on my satellite radio system so my Sirius XM wouldnt work until I reset it. I guess they thought I deserved this because I let them know that theyre service sucked.

This place is allways super busy in the auto repair shop but will stop what there doing to help you. I went in there due to my check engine light came on. I went in there they help me right away it only took them a few second to connect there hard held device and clear the code it was just my gas cap. They went out of there way and help me for free even thou they where busy. This is why there allways busy in that department people come back for there awesome service.

Went to this location for a brake and rotor inspection on my CRV. After getting my car back, the rear wiper would not work. I brought my car back the next day, Pep boys told me that nothing was wrong, so I made a appointment with my local Honda dealership.Had my car checked out at Honda. They told me someone disconnected the rear wiper motor, and that it is not something that happens by chance. Will not bring my car to Pep boys ever again.

I had electric charging problem, have to jump every time so went to the Pep-boys, because I always go there for tire replacement and oil change for a long time, they said battery and alternator need replaced with new one, but battery was replaced with new one just month before and alternator price was very high, so I bought one from Oreilly auto part and let Pep boys installed, but not working good, they said have to replace with other new one, this time I bought one from Pep boys expensive one and let them install, Not working good too, that time service manager said it must be not alternator and told me they are very busy even cant test whats wrong and told me come back some other time, with very rude accent, so I ask them to jump my car and come home and next day went to car electric shop, they find easily whats the problem and fix it with little money, problem was not alternator from the beginning, but Pep boys are just try to make easy money and told me you have bad battery, you have bad alternator etc, if you have some car problem dont trust Pep boys, they know nothing but changing tire or oil.I just lost $409.37 for nothing.Invoice picture prove Im telling truth.Im posting this for some body dont know about car problem like me dont be cheated from well known car repair shop.

They charged me $35 for a cooling system inspection. They came back and told me I needed a new thermostat housing with sensor. With parts and labor, I would have paid $700. Luckily I declined the work and I drove to a local auto parts store and had them give me a quote for the part. The price was $27. Why is PepBoys charging $378 for a part that would only be $27 at an auto parts store? There is no way I will ever step foot inside PepBoys again. And I will make sure no one I know will support them either

I would STRONGLY suggest to go absolutely anywhere else if at all possible.I went there for an oil change and the mechanic topped up my fluids with the oil change service. Within the month I started having problems with my brakes, went to a different shop. They inspected and discovered that power steering fluid had been put into my brake fluid reservoir. PepBoys denied causing this and blamed it on me. It cost me $900 to get my brake system overhauled because of their error.I would not recommend using them for an oil change or anything else.Before I went to PepBoys I had absolutely no problems with my vehicle.

Took my Mustang because of engine light coming on.After $700.00 bucks to fix and replace everything but the engine light problem there only comment was nothing wrong with emission systems must be system failure so you probably have to take it back to dealer to figure it out Crap what was the $700 for and they left me hanging. They are a bunch of idiots and one of these days they will get raided by the BAR just like Sears!!!!!

Never again will I go to pep boys for my automotive parts. So about 7 months ago I go get a new alternator for my truck and within two weeks the alternator gives out. Im thinking its not a big issue sure I was an unlucky person who got a bad remanufactured alternator. So I go to return it and grab a different one no problem, well this one lasts me a month before it eventually gives out so now Im a little frustrated and wondering what in the world is going on. I go to return this one and Im the employee I dealt with is giving me the hardest time about returning the alternator so much so that I refused to deal with him anymore and asked to speak with their manager. Once the manager showed up there werent any issues he understood my issue and replaced my faulty alternator and I was on my way to install it. All was well for about 4 month and just today that alternator ceased and snapped my serpentine belt causing one of the pullys to be worn out and other damage. I make it back to pep boys furious this time as this is my 3rd alternator in less that a year from them. They understood my frustration and ordered me a BRAND NEW alternator for no extra charge or so they said and when I went to pick up this alternator they attempted to charge me the difference and give me ANOTHER remanufactured one after promised a new one. After a long discussion with another manager and having to contact customer support I ended up not paying the difference for the new alternator. So far they refuse to acknowledge that their part was the cause of any damage to the cooling system and pully. We will see tomorrow when I speak to their head manager what the outcome of this situation will be. Other then their head manager none of the other employees have been helpful what so ever in my past experience with this pep boys. After this is settled I will never use pep boys again.

The part Dept is great a manager by the name of Alex is a top notch pro along with the rest of the parts crew. My daughters car stalled out in there parking lot so my parents decided to have it diagnosed $89 Said we needed a fuel pump $700+ said to have it towed home ill have to do it. Wondering if it was the fuel pump i decided to shoot starting fluid into the air intake started up ran a lil ruff. so i put it on the scanner p1237 secondary fuel pump circuit.Inertia switch, Fuel pump driver module etc. ended up being the fuel pump driver modulator its like a fuel pump relay. So i go back to inform them of there wrong diagnosis and to get a refund for a service that was not correct. The service manager alex told me that the movement from it being towed to my house 2 blocks away must have jiggled it free . How Ridiculous is that? He is rude has no class what so ever and from his attitude i can tell he gets a commission on the service repair he hustles up hes a scammer dont take your car here i agree with all the rest of the unhappy customers bad service.

I only* took my car there for oil changes cause I am a mechanic and I thought they could handle it. This blonde kid with piercings broke my grill($60 used) and broke a caliper guide pin bolt on another persons car. The big service manager will the crappy customer skills tryed to blame me for it after he was sincerely appologizing. Worst store ever. The ONLY reason I go there is because it is a block away. But I will NEVER go there for work to my car or any of my cars EVER again. All this place is good for is parts.
